SoloQ = where lost new players are at or lonely souls
Hotjoin = frustrated ExSoloQ players

I go by the system of counting how many squishi players are on the team.

8k is not one shot chance, especially not on warriors…besides technically it wasn’t 1 sec

clusterbomb has like 1000 years travel time and half second cast, CnD has half second cast as well, to get behind target also requires time so let’s assume that guy was very fast so it was another half second… not to mention revealed debuff which is another 4 seconds

so i assume fight went like this:
CnD 0,5 sec cast
backstab (positioning) 0,5 sec
4 sec revealed
clusterbomb 0,5 sec + 0,5 sec till it landed (at least)
3 sec he did AA?
0,5 sec CnD
0,5 sec positioning for BS

so all together, in best case possible, in best positioning possible, w/o any delay etc. 6 sec…. that is more than enough time to react…. glass thief usually doesn’t even have that much time to react, they literary get 1 shot

I think the he counted his “1” second reallllly slow. Eh, people tend to exaggerate.

I am dreaming…. but something like this for GW2 would be awesome. File size will be tiny because it only holds action/movement data, but can be replayed/spectated. No need to capture frame-by-frame video from only one point of view.

well 10pm-12am EST = 7pm-9pm server time. sounds about right.

The lower end of the soloq leaderboard isn’t much different than a 5v5 hotjoin. As you move up the ladder the difference becomes more apparent.

Personal playing stats and in-game ranks will carry over. Your leaderboard hidden MMR value will carry over so your position on the leaderboard will adjust accordingly.

Not with these new rewards. Team Arenas are so actively populated by solo’ers, duoer’s that you dont even notice a difference. You get an ocasional premade team and it’s still far better than playing on Skyhammer, Spirit Watch.

Guess it depends what your MMR is too because vast majority of my matches are premade teams. How do i know? Because I recognize enemy team names. You can sometimes check by right clicking their names to see if they are in party.

I play soloq if I don’t have a fully party for team arena. If soloq is too slow then hotjoin troll skyhammer. =]

2) Plays a class/build that has tons of knockback, pull, fear and/or stability

because skyhammer is so fun and soloq is a transition step to team arena from hotjoin.

This is why:

• Seeing people whine, rage, rant, qq and pout to disguise their inability to play/adapt after dying over and over because they stand on the edge asking to die or knocked.
• You can carry so hard because of # of people above.
• So troll
• Different play style, requires map awareness to another level.
• You can roll over those meta builds people regard to as OP etc.

This map is so fun because of all the people QQing and/or hasn’t adapt to the different playstyle

try 5v5 hotjoin < soloq arena < teamq arena if you really want to be more competitive.

We need more AI. Anet should simplify it more by condensing all skills down to one button called “attack”. This will spice PVP up and bring more casual player in. The population will explode and esport will be born. A few years later they can start giving players a second button hence introducing back the skill factor.

my hunch is they only reset your MMR which is a hidden value, but since games played stats wasn’t reset it will already register over 10games to start listing.
