This is an mmo forum, if someone isn’t whining chances are the game is dead.

Is this thread a joke? All I see is Vanye Vanye Vanye. No Dev clarification either.
At what point do they consider a poster guilty of Spamming and then lock a thread on those grounds too? Why have posting Standards at all if they’re not going to be enforced consistently?
Why would the developers bother with a thread like this. The funny thing is if you go on the link the one of the posters in that clarification is YOU.
Anyways, the developer responding to something that is not relevant to most of but a few players is not in their best interest. They gain nothing from posting in this topic, most of the people that still bother talking about the manifesto probably moved on a long time ago.
Even after they posted the clarification, you still ignore it, why should they bother. They already know no matter what they say, the people like you reject it. If you still havent come to turns with AFTER 3 years, I doubt you will EVER come to turns with it.

I hate to agree with you and so even though I have been saying the same thing, I WONT agre ewith you.
Seriously though, Dynamic events have failed because nobody seems to care about them or it could be that the 2 week living story is making players to only focus on completing their achievement checklist.
Personally, I am a little disappointed with the manner in the implementation of DE. I believe that the Living story could be used as a vehicle for their Dynamic event system. Using as an example Queendale, kessex and Gandara, why not make the theme of those maps a LS story about humans vs Centaur and not just have a little notification box that says “centaur have been beaten” or “centuar general is out”, make it more like the toturial where there is a sense of urgency and not passive like right now.
Why not redo the dragons so players can feel their affects on the whole map. Make DE that actually affects the whole map and gives players a compelling reason to fight.
My point being move the LS out of Lion arch and DR and into the world proper.
Since MMORPG players only seem to care about loot, why incorporate the precursors and new legendaries into DE system and get players out in the world doing events. If you are legendary, you most be legendary enough to experience it all and when I mean all I mean EVERYTHING, every single DE, everything make it torture for loot hunters make the whole game endgame by requiring every aspect of it be completed with as much grind as possible to minimize the amount of lemmings that have it. less lodestones more events make it so that theoretically it will take you a very long time to get the new legendaries like in FFXI.
Finally, when orr was revealed I thought it was meant to be a PvE version of WvW, make it happen. For godsakes at least make events where players can actually lose and not just wave after wave of mobs.
(edited by silvermember.8941)
maybe one day they will introduce legendary weapons as a reward for special tournaments or something like that …you wont be able to use your PvE legendaries in PvP..
That is actually a brilliant idea. Take way the grind and actually make it a reward for being legendary by winning a sponsored tournament. This will at least help retain their legendary status on like the GRIND and you win PvE version.

Good for you for coming to that realization.
You are right, the manifesto could have been interpreted in a lot of ways. I personally feel that my interpretation was pretty close, but I digress
With that said, most of the pro-manifesto betray me or lie to me crowd I think are confused. What I mean is they expected guild wars 2 to capture the feeling of guild wars 1, most of the argument from the detractors seem to be entirely based on that premise.
Anybody that has been around long enough know that nothing can ever replicate a feeling; to me it is similar to when the older folks wish for the good old days like the 50s. The reality is times have change, things change and people change, no matter how much you try you cannot replicate a feeling. It is the same thing you get from EQ1 players they always wish for that magic that existed when MMO first appeal it wont happen. Or the magic of christmas before you found out its truth face (no santa and a commercialism attached to it).
Another thing most of the “OMG manifesto lied to US” crowd tend to miss is that the manifesto doesn’t account for taste you can simply not like the package or implementation of stuff (and it has a lot of issues in implementation). You can simply not like the end result of the game.
I just want to add that, you seem to say you will never play gw2 for 6 years like guild wars 1, what you also fail to realize is that the market is entirely different from 8 years ago. Eight years ago you did not have this much choices in MMO. You have a wide variety of MMO, we are reaching a point where you an almost find an active MMO that appeals specifically to your taste as compared to 8 years ago. i like guild wars 2, but I aint playing this game for 4+ years and if I do; I will quit the genre because that means it hasn’t progressed.
(edited by silvermember.8941)
Having no data to back me up, I cannot say what matters most to the majority of players. I think (opinion only) that it is not as simple as “loot is all that matters” or “content and having fun is all that matters.” It seems to me that it is a more complex combination. I like loot as well as the next person. I will not engage in activities that I do not enjoy in order to get loot…had enough of that in other games.
With regard to the famous (or to some “infamous”) Manifesto…I watched it a number of times before release and frankly it helped to influence me to purchase and play the game. I have not been disappointed at all. Are things different in some respects than I envisioned in the beginning? Of course. Some better…maybe some worse…but in general, from my own perspective with my own preferences, it seems to hold up pretty well.
The reason that the Manifesto still works for me is that I came to GW2 after some consideration because I was unhappy with the other MMOs that I had tried and played…some for long periods of time. The key points in the Manifesto really “spoke” to me in terms of the things that I did not like about the other games. And true to my expectations, the things that were important to me have played out well in GW2.
I get the feeling this was directed at me and let me respond.
Just look at how the game has been progression this past year. Nobody bothered with South Cove until they included the 200% mf and what happen after they took it away? Nobody bothers with SCove anymore. The inclusion of Ascended armor, the new changes to dungeon loot and the inclusion champions loot. The point being people only seem to be focusing only on lewt (except maybe WvW and Spvp to some degree).
Anyways, most changes in PvE have been mainly about LOOT.
In a way you are right, I have no direct evidence that it is about loot, but I can infer based on the changes to the game that loot seems to be the biggest motivator for most PvEers.
if you think 99% doesn’t need support then you don’t know what you are talking about. I guess you did not include WvW or sPvP.
Admittedly, most boss encounters TILL recently can just be dps if you are a competent zerker but the game is far from support free.
Colin Johansson has said that they have a large dev crew working on longer term projects for the game but they arent ready to talk about what is being worked on yet. How they release this content, either as super large LS updates or paid expansions, hasnt been decided on yet.
Ah no.
Colin just recently said there aren´t working on an expansion at all and completely concentrating on Living Story. Those “large dev teams” you insinuate are likely to work on expansion are instead most definitely retooling just about all the Dungeons we have in game.
The article doesn’t say antying like that. Also you logic fails when you realize that the LS team is only a small part of the studio. They might not be working on an expansion, but they are not ONLY working on LS story. Unless you have inside information, you cannot say with any certainty, what the developers are working on.
@Vayne
The people that keep bringing up this manifesto are type that don’t really care about logic. I mean for 2 years before the release of the game, they were multiple documents that showed how different the game will be and they simply ignore it.
The type that keeps bringing it up know they have no real argument and are holding onto something that is no longer relevant to Arenanet or to the reality of the current game state.
This is the nature of the genre, just ask EQ1 players how they feel about EQ2. A lot of the vocal ones thing it is the worst thing ever done and ever years after still believe that. The manifesto was only relevant to small fraction of the gw1 fanbase and most of them probably quit a long time ago. I remember a few quitting because the combat skills did not have an auto follow like in gw1 and you had to be active.
So fighting this battle is ultimately pointless, you don’t see arenanet worry about it why should you?
Whats funny is the word “Manifesto”. I have been involved in many companies doing start-ups and a manifesto is a good starting point, having said that, in the real world, things like manifestos and Business Plans change by necessity. The fact that so many, especially GW1 players, are clinging to an introductory set of words seems a trifle strange.
To be fair, it was a very well done video that called to the heart of what people like me hated about MMOs. And I really think Anet believed when they wrote it they could completely change the landscape. But they didn’t count on player reaction to what they were doing.
So they open the game, thinking everyone will be fine with purely cosmetic rewards…but that wasn’t the case. Most people weren’t fine with it…though the GW 1 fans certainly were.
So Anet made a compromise..that being ascended gear. They’ve said that ascended gear was always supposed to be in the game, and maybe that’s a bit of spin. I suspect that it was supposed to be in the game, but not in its current form. We’ll never know for sure.
But we do know that Anet had hard data about how many people maxed out their gear and left. They made decisions based on this as any company would. It definitely represented a change in direction. It definitely doesn’t mean the manifesto was a lie. Most of it is still completely true…if misunderstood.
I feel it has been “adjusted” to meet the needs of the player base that they have data on that we can’t even begin to imagine.
Ascended gear had a rocky start but seems to have leveled out since there are other ways to obtain it apart from fractals, everyone is happy, well not everyone…
A-Net made a AAA title with their own engine (not a cheap undertaking), they had to appeal to a wider audience than just GW1 players, though they are trying. I feel they have made some mistakes but nobody, and I mean NOBODY, tries to appease the playerbase like A-Net.
The Manifesto is, as you say, a well done video and it has appealed to many and largely remains true to form, but cannot be taken as canon 3 years after the fact.
jmho
This is also why they are not working on an expansion I think. Given how their original plan of making a fun game with DE to do did not work out, they are still trying to find their bearings for things that WILL work out in the real world. Which is why the rewards currently suck because they thought people played MMORPG for the fun and not for the loot.
To the masses that play an MMORPG content is loot. Content is nothing more than a vehicle to get more loot, which is why I other parts of the world (Crystal desert and Elona) when from being a sure thing at release to uncertain status. No point making content when players ONLY seem to want rewards and the content will go unused. Open world content is simply exist for leveling. Ultimately, loot is all that matter to the majority of MMORPG players, sadly.
(edited by silvermember.8941)
The map is too small so you are fighing against the camera.
In a game about being able to see what your opponent is doing and acting appropriate the fact that you can’t see the projectile that Deadeye uses on you is stupid. Also it doesn’t hurt that the mines randomly spawn and 1 shot you well.
With ArenaNet wanting to time-gate how fast you can obtain gear, hoarding laurels for ascended gear will probably be pointless. We know ascended gear is going to be craftable using a material upgrade system like how charged quartz is made. The only new ascended item I can see them selling for just laurels would be the patterns to buy them which would then take at least a week per piece, maybe even up to a month. Expect it to all be account bound also, just like celestial gear.
I doubt hoarding laurels would be useful unless you wanted stuff like new mini-pets. For everyone else, keeping around 100 would probably be enough to quickly acquire new additions.
I don’t remember them saying you can only craft Ascended gear.
Personally, i am hoarding mine because I have no real interest in buying anything. I will stick to exotic. Besides it doesn’t hurt to hoard them.
They wont be an expansion for a while because Arenanet is still trying to figure out the game basic structure. Their original plan of making a big game with content for people to do did not work out well because it seems players think content exist solely for rewards, which is the opposite of how Arenanet intended it to be. So until the get the basic structure down for the world they wont bother nor should they with an expansion.
It has become apparent that to players content is a euphemism for loot.
tl;dr
Arenanet doesn’t have the basic structure of the game down because their initial bet proved wrong. Making an expansion w/o knowing what their audience wants a doomed to fail.
Polymock.
/15char
edit: actually pokemon as well if they wanted to go down that route. sorry for the misunderstanding.
I think that the minipet system has a lot of potential to benefit both Arenanet and players. Arenanet could give value to minipets by creating a minigame that utilizes them. This will allow players to collect them and increase their market value while at the same time, Arenanet could monetize some of the rarers (cool animation and junk no special abilities) just like in LoL.
Here are the type of minigames I envisioned.
A Yu-Gi-oh style game: Probably the easiest to implement just give them attack/def points.
Polymock from gw1.
Maybe a poor man’s version of LoL or Dota.
Sandmancer minipet game.
Chest game where minipets are chest pieces.
Months?
kitten you’re playing the game wrong.
Now tell me… How much time do you spend outside with your friends or family?
Going to work.
Get paid.
Grab Credit Card.
Buy Legendary.
have you done your math to see how much real money it would cost?
if so, i want to do your job too!
I feel like people that use the credit card argument don’t really care about the actual cost in dollars and are simply saying it to make themselves feel better. Or are simply jealous they don’t have a credit card to blow on particle effects.
You guys do know that there’s a forum for reporting bugs, right? And that they do, and have, fixed legendary visual effects before? If this is a new bug, then report it and call it good.
It not a bug I think, it is LOD not showing the effects because it is selected by default and a lot of people did not check their settings nor did Arenanet tell them to.
what is your ‘’ LOD effect ’’ in the Graphic option panel ? the option is enabled by default, i unchecked it because i don’t want the effect reduction.
Woah, i didnt know that! Thanks, this really fix this i think. Been testing it out and works alot better! I wish Anet could write this in the patch notes atleast, where they said they changed the effects…
Thanks!
That’s the thing a lot of players don’t know that and come to the forums to complain about it, but I think Arenanet should make a sticky about it to inform the people.
most of the things you are complaining about are being rectified or attempting to be rectified with more traits and skills. Now if you want to argue that it isn’t enough, how about you wait and see how things play out. Ultimately, premptly getting angry about something serves no purpose.
You should read their 6 month plan, before making a thread that contradicts what they say they will do.
We have seen how it played out, all they have done is made the game worse by doing absolutely nothing, and taking away what we already have, leaving the game to stagnate.
This game was better in its beta, tbh.
No YOU only THINK it was better in BETA because you had no real knowledge of the game. Most things seems better when it is new and different from the usual.
Never make an argument based on FEELINGs.
the act of simply taking away stuff doesn’t really make something bad. The problem is more or less that the developers don’t seem to have a clue on what the classes are suppose to be combine with the players desire for every class to be able to do everything. When their class can’t do certain things players come to the forums and start crying, developer overreacts (case in point elementalist) and takes away.
sometimes taking away is good if it is OP, simply bumping everybody leads to power creep. The problem is that Developers don’t want to make the hard choices when it comes to taking away and not adjusting the class for the change like the elementalist.
elementalist elementalist elementalist.
(edited by silvermember.8941)
Another possibility is that they simply let everything stand and the ratings will simply adjust itself to take into account the lack of Premades vs SoloQers.
Actually, this is what Arenanet will probably do given their history, since the ratings do not really mean much and it will kitten off less people in the long run.

More choices for players without a 5 man crew is always a good thing. So yes soloQ is good for the game because you don’t get punished for simply not having 4 other friends.
The reality is a lot of PvPers on this forum love to kitten about hotjoin heroes, but complain about the lack of PvPers and the lack of funding for the sPvP. The more people who play Spvp, the more resources SPvP will get. If sPvP doesn’t get new blood it will simply shrink and shrink until it ends up like gw1. (where the game was too complex and the was too much of a wall and discrimination against new players so the PvP scene only shrank and shrank).
Just remember at some point we were all noobs it is better to attempt to teach them than to simply shut them down. It is better for sPvP overall. Teaching the hotjoin heroes should be seen as a long term investment.
mesmer and warriors neither
imo this pvp need to make diferent skills for pvp and pve.. or this never wont be balanced
/atleast numbers like damage heal , etc
Not to be that guy, this is an elementalist thread not a global blah class X is not part of the current meta thread.
We have been getting screwed since the second beta. It like they hate seeing elementalist useful. Mesmer only recently got downgraded as the result of the condition meta.
When I started playing gw2 (april 2012) the game was hard (kinda). The point being when things are new and “different” the possibilities seem endless…until you actually learned the system and see the limitation.
Also shouldn’t this be in a different part of the forum, Since you Issues with PvE literally have very little to do with the PvE aspect. The point being the people that work on PvE have nothing to do with the PvP side of thing, other than they are part of the same game.
Genfar, I see your point exactly.
In my case there are 2 things bugging me about this game.
1) Zerk players becoming a trend (Blame ANet for content bad designed)
2) particle FX on skins. This game advertised as something great and revolutionary…
its turning more and more into another WoW but without strategy (which is kind of even worst).
folks this is what happens when you hype yourself into oblivion about a game you haven’t played. The only thing that Arenanet ever claimed to be revolutionary is the Dynamic event system other than that they never claimed anything more than that.
As for the whole strategy, in some respect you are right but gw2 has more potential than WOW ever does for interesting fights since everybody could be an active participate and not a tank simply spamming buttons while dps stand back and go through their rotation and the healer spamming heals.
Solution.. Remove zerker gear from the game. And Im serious too. You’ll start to see every other build flourish, more diversity, no more elitism, groups accepting everyone, and more group harmony.
This will make a lot of people angry and drive them to quit the game possibly, but Im dead serious.
Horrible solution.
The boss mechanics need to be designed to require more than simply dps. Introduce mechanics that rewards good zekers and extremely punishes bad zerkers while making other non dps build viable. Actually, make fights that require the other 2 aspects such as support and control. The newer bosses are beginning to show some signs but the bigger bosses need to do the same.
BTW I hope those of you guys saying you warned them about it, know that they probably already finalized it BEFORE announcing it so warning them was already too late.
I would just like Anet to acknowledge the problem for now.
What exactly will acknowledging the problem do?
Honestly, I don’t see arenanet hotfixing it, they are going to play the wait and see game like they always have and maybe in a couple of weeks or never “fix” it If it needs to be fixed.
ive been rewatching the na qualifiers and omg, the ele class is really dead
I don’t think the elementalist is dead yet, it will be after a nerf or 2 given Arenanet’s awesome balancing method.
I’m a Elementalist and I know how to play and mostly time I counter all classes.
Good for you. I am sure your super awesome skill combine with your 11k fire crit makes you a force to be reckon with.
11k fire crit? I only make 6-8k depend of armor… And no I dont play scrub traits that die faster than a rat get bite than him self….
My build it’s 0-20-30-20… Its Survival/DPS with D/D specc. When I have 2-3 ppl on my I can survive kinda long time before I die. Many times can I take 1vs2… But if i meet good ppl, its really hard 1v2. But 1v1 its ok.
congratulations, on using a variant of an attrition based build, unfortunately doesn’t really say much however.
Also the 11k fire crit was just a bad joke based on your post history.
I’m a Elementalist and I know how to play and mostly time I counter all classes.
Good for you. I am sure your super awesome skill combine with your 11k fire crit makes you a force to be reckon with.
Hey at least Arenanet had the good sense of making a horrible skill LESS horrible. You have to always look at the bright side of things people.
Also when is the tournament over? So we can be nerf even more.
Enough reports on one person = Dishonorable.
As simple as that.
Because we all know players are honest and NOT petty and immature?
Get a decent laptop and top it off with sweetfx. It makes the game look much better even with crappy settings.
haha I so called how easy to circumvent this system would be when people were crying hard for punishment for afker/leavers..
welp wipe your tears Mr.53, you’d think by now you’d used to taking a loss due to incompetent players once in a while if you’re soloqueing.
Who’d waste company resources on handling reports of afkers? ;/
AND it’s basically impossible to automate because then you’d have moral hazard, i.e people would start sending 4 reports in @ incompetent players.. or just people they don’t like.
better taking a loss 5vs5 than leaving for sure and it’s not hard to verify a /report if true/intended or not (Example dc and stuff) or even fake, with fake reports punishments too obviously..
Or better option is you deal with it until things normalize. You guys wanted Solo q and you got it, if you were willing to wait this long I am sure you can wait even longer to normalize.
Maybe because solo queue has no rating? Also rank means nothing.
let things settle down BEFORE start complaining.
(edited by silvermember.8941)
It’s like no one on this forum ever played a game with solo queue before lol.
Why deal with stuff when you can go on the forum and complain about it? And they say give the people what they want.
^ comments like these are make me glad you guys are not developers. The reality is that this is going to happen until the fresh Solo queue smell leaves. So you can either deal with it or wait a few days.
I am glad it failed because a lot of people would have hyped it up and when it inevitably fails to meet those expectations spend the next few months making threads about it.
You reaction is the same as in every election, you just deal with it.
In my case, I m enjoying all the crying.
He is a rich jerk that loves RNG and supposedly he is Canadian (just sayin).
That is exactly why the human won. Clowns attached him to Cox or whomever that person’s name is that likes lockboxes.
slow down there, I voted for Kiel because she represents my interest. more importantly, I voted for Kiel because I knew a lot of Gw1 fanboys ( I did play gw1 off and on for 7 years but I don’t consider myself a fanboy) would get really mad if Evon won. Also I always thought Abaddon was a bad villain.
Abaddon was so bad, he made Shiro seem intelligent but the worst part is that he let Kormir outsmart him.
So you picked failed Asuran Experiment #431 fractal
I picked the one that was more interesting. I fought Abaddon once and he wasn’t that interesting (except when everyone danced), I don’t need to fight him again.
Anyways, welcome to Gw2.
This is the sadest day ever in GW2 history. The world fallen into a human atheist who doesn’t care about her own gods at all.
I doubt the gods would be interested in the Charr using THEM for his own agenda (whatever it might have been in the future). So in a way, she is extremely loyal to the gods. Just to add I suspect the gods wouldn’t want the humans and other races to see how Abaddon was able to outsmart and fought equally against the combine might of 5 gods for such a long time as to pose a threat to them.
Another dev said they had an amazing idea for the other fractal. The devs all had differing opinions – it was just part of the spirit of fun after all. A lot of people have taken it way too seriously
It’s the devs fault for joking, don’t they know that MMO are serious business. Joking isn’t allowed.
75% of election is accepting that the guy you want will not win. You guys that lost should threaten to move up north to the Shiverpeaks, maybe Arenanet will change their minds.
Where is the fulfillment of these promises:
He said they’re gonna update the dungeons through the living story. As in giving a meaning to the changes.
Correct! I think some of you are making assumptions that living world means the stuff we’ve done the last few months and that’s all you’re going to see. My point is saying we’ve seen folks feedback and are adjusting that strategy to include a much larger mix of permanent updates going forward.
I’m quite happy with the amount of updates in GW2, but I wish more of it was permanent.
We’ve been playing around so far this year with a lot of different concepts to see what works for a living world game, and see what players liked and didn’t like. Based on all of your feedback, you’ll be seeing a greater degree of permanent content built into future living world releases in 2013. And of course, some things you’ve seen before may return again, in its current form but updated like SAB or holiday festivals, or in a new form entirely….
We’ve said it a few times before, but I want to just re-iterate we’ve heard folks feedback on this and will be doing a much larger mix of permanent, recurring (content that can occur again in the future), and more world impacting releases as it relates to living world in the second half of the year. There will still absolutely be some amount of temporary, in particular story-driven moments to help drive the narrative forward. You’ll also see some of the content previously noted as “temporary” return permanently to the game in the 2nd half of the year.
@AndrewSX
You make it sound as though the whole company is working on the Living World content. Though from what Colin said in the video, only a portion of the team has been chosen to make this content, and even then, they’ve been split into smaller groups to work on each individual month separately. Meaning that the people that are handling the Bazaar this July will be different than the team handling the update in August which will be different from the team handling the update in September.
It wouldn’t surprise me at all if they’re handling other aspects of the game similarly. Also true! And as noted, the four living world teams going forward will be working on a much wider array of content and more permanent, recurring, and world changing content with the additional time they’ll have now with four total teams to rotate. Chris and MikeZ talked to the press last week about all the details, make sure to check out the interviews that go up today to find out more!
We’ll be continuing to permanently update our dungeons and rewards for dungeons this year and beyond, these updates will be part of living world releases in the future as well as we expand the scope of living world releases to include more permanent updates to the game.
What you conveniently (like anybody should be shocked with hyperbole and blah blah blah) forgot to mention was that colin said that MORE perma content will start happening later NOT now because they only recently started doing it.
The content in the near future will still be mainly temp until later in 2013 when the will start implementating the feedback. If you took the time to look up those quotes I am sure you can find the others.
added: ninja’d by colin.
I too am shocked that they made this only to be temporary. Especially with how difficult it is and how many achievements it has for it alone.
1. we dont know how difficult it is.
2. it seems the testers are noobs, so we really can’t know how difficult it is.
3. Any arena that is (based on previews and the timer) dps based isn’t really worth getting sad about.
added: I do think that a lot of people will start QQing if they leave it for too l ong though and no update it and I doubt Arenanet would update it enough to satisfy the players.
with that said I do agree with you. And personally, I would have liked if they took it to infinite. Or just have it returned as a hoard mode that you have to use tricks and not simply dps to win.
(edited by silvermember.8941)
preface: this is based on the previews.
Personally, I think that the tpavillion is stupid and shows the lack of creativity with the fights in this game. Essentially, this whole thing is nothing m ore than a dps race, any fight that has a timer isn’t really a good boss fight because it force the individual to focus entirely on damage.
Also do the the fact that they want us to switch weapons for the different roles elementalist are going to be screwed.
Kiel winning is the so awesome. Eat your hearts out abaddon fanboys, even though he was an extremely dumb villain that got outsmarted by Kormir and had his powers taken by her.
Nostalgia strikes again. Abaddon wasn’t a very interesting villain, he was far less interesting than Shiro and Shiro was dumber than a sack full of potatoes.
All I have to say is I just wanted the Abaddon fractal, if it isn’t added, PvE on this game is dead for me, the temp content in this game sucks, I only ever liked fractals and just wanted the Abaddon fractal, if I don’t get it, and skill lag issues persist in WvW, this game is its own endgame.
I think your statement will have the opposite of the intended effect.
Personally, your statement actually makes me want to vote Kiel even more.
Unless you played bunker, the elementalist, was only really viable when everybody was a noob, which was the first beta.
Well played Arenanet. Well played.
Solo Arena, map randomization and the leaver penalty are all coming at the same time.
Made me reinstall
Then log in and promptly uninstall, isnt that how it works with you?
Four pages and no devs bothered to mention if, and only if we may see DX11 one day
Why would they? They already made an official statement that wont suddenly change because a few people that are known to consistently criticize the game because it doesn’t appeal to them, but are in in denial about it or love the hear themselves complain, are calling them out.
tl;dr Gw2 focuses more on aesthetics than graphics. This video will help you understand the difference, so that next time you wont say something dumb. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5oK8UTRgvJU

Standard forum rules, if you cant win an argument insult the person. I proved my point.
(edited by silvermember.8941)
The proper way to react is to use mist form not that shield or you will die.
Cant attack using the mist form, cant heal using mist form, cant use regular skills using it, it has been nerfed to the ground, right now in WvW you use it for gfetting into keeps, because while it gives you an effective 3 seconds of invul it also makes you completely worthless for 3 secs and only delay your imminent death since you did nothing to help yourself
Next go to ele forum and ask for help about how to fight paper thieves aka berserker thieves. Finally, how can u only have 12k with ptv armor?
Please, I ask of you and everyone else who keeps posting without fully reading;
READ, kitten , PVT accs and weapon, rest in zerker because I need the DPS to come from somewhere.
