But is it that hard to simply say some one is looking at your ticket? To just leave ppl hanging for 1+ days up to more seems a bit cruel. Truth be told i am only coming at this from my point of view but i am going out of my head over this.
Everyone should receive an automatic response that indicates the ticket has been received and is in the system. That usually comes within five minutes of submission of the ticket. If you do not receive that confirmation email, please check your Junk Mail folder. But anyone who knows his/her ticket number would presumably have received that confirmation email.
Until the account can be reviewed, having agents send another email seems unnecessary. We’d rather have agents address the appeals as quickly as possible rather than send a second “We got your ticket” email.
I see well i some what panicked and made another ticket using Account Support / Login Help i hope i just did not mess up.
Ok, thanks for that information. Here’s what I recommend, to avoid delays in handling your ticket. Go into your NEW ticket and close it. You can note “This is a duplicate of [ticket number]” and that means that an agent can focus on the first ticket and settle that more promptly.
Hello everybody,
this conversation has derailed and the thread will now be locked.
Thanks for understanding.

Was the cart of artillery supplies also at the bridge?
Hello Balto,
your thread will be merged to the existing one. That way other users can find the topic easily and you all get the information.
Thanks for understanding.
Thanks for the confirmation!
This does have to do with the NPC running through the fire and dying. We’ll be getting a bug on this into our system, and working on a fix after that.

Please read
Hey folks,
Let me give you a couple of updates about this thread. Again, this is not an official thread, and we’re not looking at this thread to find people we can help (because we have others means to do that, see below).
If you care to join in in this thread, you’re joining a player-to-player conversation, acceptable in our forums if the conversation remains positive and helpful. This is not where you follow-up on your ticket. Please do not submit a ticket and post here; that will not accomplish anything. We offer a means to follow up after three days, if needed. (See below)
Some notes:
And again, we want to help, and we will, if you file a ticket and let us review the case.
(edited by Gaile Gray.6029)
I’ll look at it again and see if I can reproduce the issue. Thanks!

Once you choose the final story step in Chapter 3 you’re locked in to an order. Attending the meeting at Lion’s Arch doesn’t matter.
I can confirm that we do have a bug on this issue, but I don’t have a estimate of when it will be fixed yet. Thank you for your patience and understanding!
Sorry, I totally misread that. As many of you have stated, I thought you were asking for the ability to PUG in free paid tourneys, which is what I responded to. Sorry for that. I was coming from one meeting, going to another, and tried to quickly get on the forums to at least read/post something. I apologize.
It’s not that we don’t care, is that’s we’re really busy adding things to the game. Custom Arenas are the current focus for my team. A fully 100% random tourney system (where all teams are random and no teams are an organized 5-person team) is something we can look at down the road, but I think there are many other things that are more important to get finished first (which I spoke about in my blog).
Again, sorry for the misunderstanding, and I’m heading out to another meeting.
More cheers,
J
There is also another Hodgins bug that I thought I would mention as this topic has you r attention; if after getting all the scepter pieces, you run toward the howling king through the under tunnels before Hodgins has finished his dialogue, the objective doesnt update and the Howling King doesnt spawn. Never had the bug that the OP posted, but this one has happened a couple of times.
I don’t always post in each individual thread, but I am watchful of section of the forum. Thanks for reporting, but please don’t hold back from posting under the assumption nobody will see it
What would be amazingly helpful is if you could talk to your npc and they had a “follow me” directive, and a “sit, stay” directive. We could tell Randall to not be in GL’s crotch, and stay with us, and during Dwayna, could have him follow our melee, and not our ranged kiters. Keep it from being exploited by having them leash like normal if you get too far.
I like this idea.
Saxon, is your thread title more than 50 characters long?
Hello everybody,
as this question has been answered, the thread can now be locked.
Thanks.
Thanks for pointing this out, I’ll be sure to have someone look into it. Sorry you got hit by the bug
To my knowledge we’ll be keeping the NPCs who accompany you through the dungeon. We do however need to enhance their AI and modify their skills to make them more valuable.
2 kitten times we get to scepter room, 2 kitten times he bugs and doesn’t trigger the script to proceed. This is absurd and an absolute waste of time for the people involved. No, we didn’t skip mobs in the way save for Kohler.
This needs to stop, or just change your design model to player initiated progression inside a dungeon. I’m tired of wasting time on bugged NPC’s.
Kholer being skipped has nothing to do with it, and neither should random mobs. This bug is fairly hard to track down, but we are aware of it. If you could, could you either post/message me a more detailed description of what was going on when he bugged out (and the moments leading up to it)? It would help us in perhaps identifying what is wrong.
But as other people have said, this doesn’t always happen. I’ve ran Hodgin’s path maybe 4-6 times and haven’t been able to reproduce the issue on the live game. I can understand the frustration though, and I’m sincerely sorry you’ve run into this bug.

We are aware of an issue with passwords, where the player is getting disconnected and then received an “incorrect password” message. Some players see this error message: 11:1000:7006:743:101
We apologize for the issue, and we’ll post as soon as we have more information on this.

That particular story step (Ossuary of Unquiet Undead) is intended to be challenging, but it’s definitely solable. (I did it as a thief.) It does require you to be careful not to draw the attention of the knights patrolling the upper rim, and the patrolling abomination is pretty much a walking deathtrap if you don’t avoid it. The abominations on the platforms are a bit easier, since they are “under construction” and you have about a minute to kill them before they wake up.
The price spike doesn’t represent a shortage, it represents prices returning to where they should be without bots. This change creates more opportunity for players playing the game to earn money. The oversupply the bots created hurt the legitimate producers of items. As the prices go up, more real players will enter the market.
The tooltip adds PvP armor and regular armor together.
Do you mean the door at the top? The abomination is patrolling on a path on the upper rim, he’s not stationary at the door.

I only transfered once, it’s in EU but I am switching it to NA tomorrow so might as well put that on NA
I don’t recommend transferring from EU to NA yet, because we still have the issue where you’ll stop earning tournament rewards for a number of games afterwards. It’s stickied in this post: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/pvp/Tournament-chests-and-transferring-between-server-regions
We only recently added the logging for QP, so if your last 1st place win was before the logging went in, you won’t show up on the list until you earn another qualifier point. It will then update to show your total points.
Checking. Are you EU or NA?
Hi all,
First and foremost: Thank you for the positive feedback! We work hard to make WvW fun for you all and it’s very gratifying to hear that you’re enjoying it.
Now I need to make a bit of a clarification about culling being fixed. I think you’re referring to this post in the PvP forum: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/pvp/pvp/Please-fix-this-sooner-rather-than-later-Vid-attached/first#post622762
We have a fix for culling in Structured PvP but that fix does not yet extend to WvW or PvE. The issue is that Structured PvP uses small maps with small player counts so we have fewer challenges to overcome with regards to resources like cpu and bandwidth. We are doing the work to extend the culling fix out to WvW but that change will not be in the next patch.
Even if you walk all the way up to the control panel? She should appear once you get extremely close.
I saw this and still thought it was confusing and changed it so you interact with the control panel to spawn her. This will be in the big November update which is coming soon.
Ya, it was a visual culling bug. It will be fixed next patch.
Cheers.
I just want to clarify this post: we have a fix for culling issues in Structured PvP but that fix does not yet extend to other game types.
In my humble opinion the best quick-fix for the whole problem would be to introduce single/duo queue free tournaments (or just single games) with a strong matchmaking mechanic.
Best regards Pray
Great post and this part is a great idea. Simple, quick solution while they iron out a good ladder system. This way, queues will still be somewhat quick since many many people queue solo or with 1 other friend, and you won’t have to get throat punched in Khylo anymore!
You can already do this.
Cheers.
This is another case of something that looks simple but is actually fairly complex. The issue is that the same day that I made the fix to this story step, some changes were made to the music system that required an update to all story steps. Unfortunately, this meant that my fixed version was no longer compatible with Live, since it had references to the new audio changes in it, but Live did not have the new changes yet. Ultimately, it was deemed too risky to rush out the new audio changes (since they would affect every story step), which is why this (seemingly minor) fix has been delayed for so long, and why it’s part of a major update, and hasn’t been pushed out with the smaller updates we’ve made since this bug was fixed.

Hey everyone!
These are the leaderboards for paid tournament qualifying points. Here’s how it works:
Enjoy,

I apologize for the lack of current details. What I can currently say about this topic is that
we’ve recently begun a renewed campaign against RMT and Bots. The change in these markets is a direct result of the success of that campaign.
You can expect to see more details coming out within the next couple of weeks.
As I posted above, after multiple playthroughs, I haven’t been able to reproduce the bug.
All of the story steps (except for the very last step) are balanced for solo players. Obviously, in cases like the Ossuary it can get really tough if the NPCs die, since it’s expected that they’ll at least act as a speedbump for you. Is it only the final boss that’s giving you problems?

Alright folks, here’s the scoop -
As you can see, this thread has been gutted because the things being discussed were completely off topic. This thread isn’t for talking about how you hate X guild, why there are no orbs in the game at the moment, who moved to what server, what you think about PvP design, why your dog ate your homework, or how the Carebears were your favorite cartoon Saturday mornings during the 80s (what?).
In other words, please keep to the topic at hand in the original post. Do not be the person that derails the thread again or violates the Code of Conduct in here. If you see someone else do either of these, do not respond! Just click the little black flag on the player’s post and report it so the Community team can investigate.
Thanks for listening and your cooperation all! Enjoy!
Please provide the story step name. I can’t do anything if I don’t know which step you’re talking about.
We just did a build and this issue has been corrected. Thanks for your patience.

This is fixed now. Thanks for your patience.
Hi Roaven, please try clearing your DNS cache. To do this, follow these steps:
1. Press and hold the Windows key and press the R key. This should bring up the “Run” dialogue box.
2. In that box, type “cmd” without the quotes, and click the “OK” button. A DOS window should open.
3. Enter the following command below and press enter: ipconfig /flushdns
This should clear your DNS cache. You may need to perform this command a few times.
We have found the issue and fixed it, and it’s going to pushed as part of an upcoming content update. I do not have a specific date at this time, but it is a priority and I apologize for the wait. Please understand that even “simple” fixes can affect seemingly unrelated content and require an extended testing period, which is why we’re not able to hotfix every issue immediately.
Hi SargentLee – I would like you to try a new command we just introduced to assist players with these types of issues. To do this:
1. Navigate to your Guild Wars 2 installation folder.
2. Right-click on “GW2.exe” and select “Create Shortcut.”
3. Rename this shortcut to “Guild Wars 2 Port Test.”
4. Right-click on this shortcut and select “Properties.”
5. Edit the “Target” line to include /clientport 80 at the end.
Note: Please make sure /clientport 80 is outside of the quotes
Correctly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe” /clientport 80
Incorrectly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe /clientport 80”
6. Once completed, click “Ok” to save your changes.
If you get an error trying to save, your target line may not have the correct format. Please try step 5 again.
7. Double click “Guild Wars 2 Port Test” and try connecting again.
Thanks for the reports! We think we may have identified what’s causing these breaks (don’t use Jump Shot to get to the different ships). We’ll be doing some additional work to prevent this, but if you go through the quest and walk along the gangplanks, it should progress normally.
