After chill nerf I only use it if I need the CC and also for movement, Death’s charge is useful at VG green circles and for Matthias, when you place corruptions and poison, but its far from mandatory.
It wasn’t a nerf for condi builds. It was a huge buff.

I really, really do not want to be mean here, but it’s just a simple matter of fact that you’re a bad player if you think this trait is bad.
It’s arguably one of the strongest traits in the necromancers kitten nal.
It’s a MUST in the condition based builds. You know necromancers can dump the conditions they’re currently suffering from, onto the enemy right? This makes corruptions even stronger than just having a flat 33% cd reduction.
I wouldn’t even say it’s “high risk high reward” gameplay..
Just don’t use a corruption unless you have a condi transfer up.
I actually complain to the druids in my group when they’re spamming cleanses because it hinders my DPS.

You can “consume all” on them. Save them up and use up a stack with each click.

Currently it’s worth 20s, that’s quite poor considering it requires 14 days worth of fractal dailies to acquire.
Once done with crafting unbound, the pages are effectivelly only worth selling, however you can only sell the book, which requires 28 pages, at 2 a day, and once sold you get a measly 20 silver.
That’s 14 days for 20 silver.
That’s pretty poor.
My suggestion is to increase the selling cost of the book to 5g, that accounts to roughly 17s per page, so an additional 34s per day from doing the fractal dailies, still not much in the grand scheme of things, but I think it’s fair, no?

To answer the Op’s question properly and as best i can.
It really depends on the fight.
I’d argue that the f1 spamming longbow condi war is the best DPS on gorseval for example due to his large hitbox.
Where as with Vale guardian, i’d say possibly revenant, as that’s the only class i can think of that’s really wanted for raids and whose damage isn’t completely destroyed by movement.
Now in a perfect scenario, if the boss had a large hit box and was stationary 100% of the time, it’d probably be a toss up between Condi Warrior, Condi Engineer & Zerker Ele.

ALL Abilities simply need a different coefficient depending on whether they are hitting an NPC or a player.
Fixed.
Ability 1 hits a mob for 2k.
Ability 1 hits a player for 1k.
Ability 2 stuns a mob for 3 seconds.
Ability 2 stuns a player for 1.5 seconds.
Done.
If anet really want to push Guild wars 2 as an e-sport, this is the way to do it without royally kittening over the PVE side of things.

I’m sorry, but I have to disagree. Though I do use sword a lot, skill 3 is well worth using and increases might drastically. Using the facets properly lets you use those attacks from them while still holding the buffs during that time. Axe can add torment and chill. Mace torments, poisons, burns, and adds might. Sword vulnerability is nice, but you get a short lived 20 stacks from using the might facet.
There is a rotation, definitely.
In PvE the rotation is pretty much just Auto attack on sword and hop between Shiro for the Quickness and Malyx for the elite, anything else is a DPS loss lmao.

They don’t care about the games balance, they care about how much they can abuse unintended mechanics to leech the best rewards before it’s changed.
Real pvpers play a class regardless of how well it’s performing, these ESL kittennuts flock back and forth to broken and braindead builds & classes if it’s over-performing in the current meta.

Did the run with the brazier (as indicated by the screenshot) yet i was unable to interact with the brazier using the torch.
Not sure what went wrong here as everything we did to get the 3rd chest was what we did last week.

Let’s not start discussions about disgusting, unless you want me to start going on about how pro chornomancers are with their gravity well + avoid well rinse and repeat “skill”. Or thieves and their eternal shadowstepping in with basilisk venom etc.
Point is if such playstyle exists it should not be barred cause it’s bad. If it’s bad then there’a a major issue with balance that should be fixed at it’s core and not given “indefinite quarantene”.

About 30-50 g for VG depending on how fast and how many slots you can spare.
Per person maybe, can’t see anyone selling a raid spot for 30-50g.. That would mean everybody gets 3-5g each.

a 3 month period between each “major balance patch” is not healthy for the game at all, especially if you want gw2 to kick off as “e-sports” material.
Balance needs to be done constantly, you can’t just go “right, that’s that done for now, see you in 3 months, we’ll just hot fix stuff from now on for the next 3 months.”

Yes, you just need to make sure you have more toughness than your healer (if he has any), no-body else in the raid should have any toughness gear at all.

In that case then, a tool needs to be implemented to monitor your raid members activities so you can see who’s under-performing and help them improve, because as it is right now, it’s a crapshoot, you can’t clearly identify who’s not performing their best, and it’s needed for content like raids.

Just to get an idea on where the community stands for the raid timers.
I personally like the idea of raid timers and do not want to see them gone, otherwise the difficulty of raids will be drastically reduced, however i do feel some tuning is needed.
The timer on Vale guardian feels just right, however for Gorseval it feels incredibly too tight and an increase on the timer would be nice.

It’s a tricky situation though, because outside of the traps, DH’s are literal trash, they’re garbage, insanely easy to kill.
They’re DPS monsters but once they’ve exhausted their traps, they’re useless, so if traps get nerfed (Which they should) changes need to be made elsewhere, true shot needs it base damage reduced too, hits way too hard.

Scrapper? Tempest?
Scrapper and Tempest are strong, but they don’t kitten out skill for minimal effort, you need to have some form of intelligence to actually play well with one.
I play scrapper myself, and a bad one is easily identifable because they just melt, same with tempests, good ones are scary, bad ones, just melt.
If scrapper and tempest are, as you say, “strong” when well played, then that makes seven out of nine professions viable in top-end PvP.
So what’s the issue?

The problem with DH isn’t the damage, it’s the daze on traps trait combined with the elite trap pretty much holding you in place for 5 seconds, knocking you down constantly if you even try to move an inch.
CC in this game needs toning down, a LOT.
As someone else has mentioned, a Chrono + DH can pretty much keep you stunlocked indefinitely, and it’s kittening stupid.

The community has changed because Anet has split it apart with HoT.
The 4 Maps shipped with HoT are just a constant grind. “want this? Grind that.” “oh you want this? Grind that!” once you’ve done the story, it literally boils down to grinding the same events over and over again in the same 4 maps in the same way because they’re linked in such a way that an idiot can’t get lost.
Combine it with arguably the most poorly designed WvW map, on top of the most broken meta the games ever had in GW2 since launch in PvP, and it’s no wonder people are getting frustrated and taking out their anger on their fellow players.
Anet’s entire mindset with the game has changed since launch, and not for the better, you can look at every decision they’ve made so far and you can literally go “Yeah that was done to boost gem sales.”
Previously it seemed like they actually cared about the game and it’s community and promoted healthy play, but now, they just keep pushing kitten into the gem store, give us stupid “roadmaps for the years ahead” (4 major balance patches a YEAR when they want this game to be esports as an example) they want to gravitate away from the “zerk meta” yet they wholy promote it in raids with the incredibly strict enrage timers.
And in response to the “ascended was promised as the final tier” it is.
Legendary armor isn’t going to have more stats over Ascended. Ascended is still the final tier as far as stats are concerned.
When you compare other games expansions to what was contained in the base game, you have to look at HoT and assume that you’ve payed what you would for an expansion, for something that’s on DLC levels.
Seriously, compare the amount of content in HoT to any other MMO’s expansion pack, it’s drastically less content.
Hell, look at EQ2, that games mostly dead yet it still manages to churn out more content in it’s expansion packs than HoT did.

Let’s also not forget that they stated there would be balance patches before each league, and this “leagues” balance patch was apparently on june 23rd when HoT launched.
