Before you do that though, follow the link above and really think about if you want to work on this collection! Two items are in the 300G price range. If you’re tempted to sell this for 160G, are you willing forego those to instead plan to shell out 600G? If yes – go for it!
As previous posters have said, Plaguelands is the only Necro elite usable under water.
Reading the book again made me wonder if there is still a part of Snaff’s mind inside Kralkatorrik’s. He was pretty far in there, and made the dragon fall out of the sky, all while connected using power stones made from the dragon’s blood.
That’s been my tin-foil-hat theory since reading the book, way before launch! Somehow we’ll get help from inside Kralkatoriks mind, Snaff still being that little itch you just can’t scratch to the dragon.
Each tier of crafting has a progression of items to craft (5 character levels, 25 crafting levels apart). Use the Discovery system to level up. Once you reach the next tier, you need new materials. The order is Copper/Bronze – Iron -Steel (made from Iron ore) – Darksteel (made from Platinum ore) – Mithril – Orichalcum.
Why didn’t Rytlock kill Kralkatorrik? Did other members of Destiny’s Edge know?
Because Kralky recovered too fast so when Rytlock threw the spear he missed. The rest of DE were kinda there, minus Logan who had left and Snaff who died…
- Living Story is available for free for a limited time.
- If you don’t do the storyline during this time Anet will block uncompleted episodes from you.
- To unlock them again you must pay 200gems. It seems you have to pay 200gems per episode for a total of 1200gems if you miss the entire season.
- Storyline is no longer part of the core game but an extra part that Anet has now attempted to monetise, so it now punishes players who take breaks from the game. Unlike, dailies which allow you to pick up where you left off.
- Be aware, that if you log-in at the beginning of the season, miss the middle, and log in at the end that, you will not have access to the middle episodes without paying for them, either by converting gold or real money to gems.
- Have fun!
One detail, but quite important detail, is wrong. You do not have to play the storyline during the episode’s “active period”. You have to log in.
As long as you log in to a character, you unlock the episode permanently. Load in to the game world, even for just a second, that’s all that’s needed.
could someone translate the time time to uk please
Brittish Summer Time is GMT+1, so 20:00.
To quote Shawn Schuster of GuildCast (waaaay back) – “Saying people in the forums are complaining is a bit like saying people in the pool are wet.”
Mastery Points will not carry over – just like HoT and Core have different points, so will PoF. Getting all the current masteries one wants is of course a good idea anyway.
Hero Points will likely carry over, but AFAIK we don’t really know yet how much the new specs will take and if there is anything else needed.
Working on gold, ascended gear etc is always a good plan. Getting Ascended (or even Legendary) weapons to fit the new specs can absolutely create a fun feeling of preparation.
For those planning/thinking about using potions from dailies – a reward track takes exactly 80 potions to complete.
Auric Dust is different – it’s just like Airship Oil and Ley-line Sparks. If anything, they’re candidates for an Eater as they’re account bound materials used in ascended crafting.
Curio recepie for Thorns and Fossils – yes please!
The process of infusing a trinket is not the same as slotting an infusion. (Yes, I know, it’s absolutely needlessly confusing)
Judging from the wiki, however, it seems accessories can’t be infused. https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Infused_equipment
you can if you infuse it, same with rings.
(as long as the stat is optional on the original item that is)
OP states that it’s already infused. Unfortunately, the screenshot looks like it’s already colored aswell, otherwise that would have offered a way.
Ok, good to hear! Never tried more than one character in the demo :p
I agree.
I think the forge uses the same system as crafting, and that sees the content of invisible bags as well.
The bags do specify that contents will not show at vendors and trading post – it doesn’t actually say anything about crafting :/
Holy c….
That is one really good looking rifle!
Yes please, give us this!!!
I don’t think it necessarily is a matter of insecurity in ones own gender identity or sexuality for all players uncomfortable with playing a different gender. If you deeply view the character as an extension of oneself, a sensation vaguely similar to gender dysphoria (though weaker and more distant) when it doesn’t match ones identity seems reasonable.
(That said, most are probably not identifying with their characters this deeply – insecurities are unfortunately very common!)
I play a mix, with maybe a slight leaning towards male characters. I’m male myself.
This seems to indicate that, unlike gliding, each character will need to unlock each mount separately. Does anyone know if that is the case?
I can’t see the screenshot for some reason (prob my end), but doublecheck that it’s the right component. Some are easy to mix up, like sword/longsword or hilt/blade.
Tbh, it will remove my legendary wings, so no ty lol
We’re asking for them as regular backpack skins, they wouldn’t replace or override anything, they would be an option, just like all the existing backpack options.
Look through your achievment list in game – everywhere there is a red mastery symbol there is something that give a mastery point.
Major World Bosses often offer a point each – Triple Trouble offers 4 total. LW2 offers a bunch, and as was noted they recently added 9 new Mastery Insights to core – just find and commune.
They’ll take a fair amount of work, but it’s varied work. I’ll likely not max it out because I basically don’t do Fractals more than my precursor crafting requires, but that also means the Fractal mastery is pretty much pointless to me. I’ve still gotten points enough to start it.
Attitude/outlook also affects things – while it’s fun getting XP, it really doesn’t bother me a bit when I don’t. Given how many Spirit Shards we get from just playing, that extra one from “levelling” with completed masteries feels completely inconsequential.
I would love it!
I think the Upgrade Extractor from the gem store should be usable. Haven’t tried myself though.
Suggestion: New Legendary Longbow
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

https://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/4ue7kr/art_legendary_longbow_concept_houyi_bow_of_the/
Its old concept art but very good. Houyi – Bow of the ten suns its very colorful. Most of the effects have already been thought of.
Ooooohh yes, what I would give for that as a legendary longbow!
There is an option to unbind the mount special jump from space – then it defaults to the dodge key and space does regular jumps not consuming endurance.
No sollution, but a workaround is to move your inventory so the stack is right where the confirm button shows up. That way, you can just keep klicking at a steady rythm.
Felicia Day has stated on twitter that she has not been approached by anet again, but would love to return to Zojja, so I doubt “unavailable voice actor” is only reason.
All gen 2 legendaries, iirc, have shorter footfalls than gen 1.
May I ask if you have any statistical information on the TP queue to substantiate that there are actual sales going through it?
Buy order has been tied up there for a long long time now….
According to https://www.gw2bltc.com/en/item/72021-Chak-Egg-Sac the last month has seen 11 trades. Currently there are 8 buy orders at 10k gold. Going three months back, the buy price has even dropped down to 9k several times.
Deadeye seems to be playing a Little with boon application range. Still a shorter radius, but it can be centred either on self or target in different circumstances, so you can actually snipe from distance and give boons to the melee around the mob. I’m curious how that’s going to work out!
How do I get to Maguuma Wastes?
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns
Posted by: Tanner Blackfeather.6509
You can only go full maguuma wastes map if you have HOT Expansion?
No, The Maguuna Wastes (Dry Top and Silverwastes) are available to everyone.
I think Dawdler meant 8 of 9 classes currently have the option of making a completely ranged build, with both weapon sets (for those who have two) equiped with a ranged weapon.
If you want to go directly to another starting area, there are auto-unlocked waypoints you can use; no reason to go through three cities if you care about that tiny amount of time.
Nope, you’ll have to bind it to unlock it.
Based on those, I’d suggest Ebon Vanguard or Cavalier.
Is it possible you have opened it? Check your unlocked skins in the wardrobe.
Otherwise, remember that the item is called The Spearmarshall’s Gift, in case you were searching for “Elonian” instead.
Sign me up for some gw1 leather armor!
Some of the Factions design would be wonderful, like

https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Ranger_Elite_Kurzick_armor
https://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Gallery_of_male_assassin_Elite_Canthan_armor
But also some Nightfall, like

Order of Whispers rifle is good in my opinion.
There is one MP that actually requires WvW – Koutalophile has one spoon that only drops there.
To my knowledge, that is the only MP that needs any non-PvE play.
Easy way of getting the spelling right for deletion:
Shift-click the item, putting the name into the chat field.
Mark and Ctrl-X the name
Delete item
Ctrl-V to paste the name into the confirmation window. You will probably have to remove the brackets before and after.
And just as quick, the buy order is gone. Stuff like that happens, it seems to me more likely to be speculation than market manipulation.
It’s actually not hiked up, it’s just a really strange way of marking the price.
The bundles show the base price without the basic rebate from buying several at once. So it just show the 5x and 25x base price of a key.
The actual sale price however is correctly calculated from the normal discount. The difference between stated base price and sale price is 46% for the 5-bundle and 50% for the 25-bundle.

PoF will bring new gear sets; that doesn’t mean better per se; berzerker is still the best power based gear stat wise; that’s core game. But HoT did add Viper which is the zerker version for condi builds and serious condi DPS builds will want that. Will new PoF gear stats replace Zerker/Viper? Maybe maybe not, but that’s still not the same as WoW or other games with new lvls, gear etc. so you can safely get ascended/exotics.
Plus w/ ascended you can change you stat on armor/weapons.
This!
PoF will not bring a tier of gear that invalidates whatever you’ve gotten before it.
I will bring new stat sets, and some of them might fit your playstyle better than existing set, making you want to change, likeand Viper’s did.
Some might open up new build options, in being able to effectively combine things in new ways.
But no gear will suddenly be obsolete.
Anyone who played LS1 – how likely would you say one more box is, based on the themes that’s been and items available?
1) You don’t have to repeat yourself.
2) Every Bolt has the new projectile, the game treats a newly made and one made 3 years ago exactly the same.
Earning mastery points without HoT?
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns
Posted by: Tanner Blackfeather.6509
I would strongly disagree with “wasting your time”. Your XP is wasted, but as XP is incredibly easy to get, and gaining it during the mastery system is often temporarily blocked anyway, waiting to unlock Masteries doesn’t really matter.
However, to clarify Masteries: The system uses both Mastery Points (granted from specific achievements) and XP. You can’t spend Mastery Points until a sufficient amount of XP is earned into the relevant Mastery track.
All of you wanting the old vendor back – you do remember that it required a certain WvW rank, right? So starting fresh, you’d still have to WvW some.
It’s not buying both expansions that gives the gems, it’s specifically buying the Ultimate Edition of PoF for $80.
Gems are used in the in-game store, look through it before purchasing.
Even if they aren’t in the store, they can be bought from the Story Journal.
Scrap of Mastery (Daily rewards)
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Since Mastery Points are based on XP
That choice of words is a bit unfortunate. Mastery Points are in no way based on XP, they’re granted by achievements (even the channeling points, technically). The XP is needed to be able to spend mastery points.
