Definitely need to buff those drop rates then; I’ve gotten maybe like one weapon and armor piece these past few months.

I don’t consider ring drops, since oftentimes it’s some useless stat; would really appreciate stat selection given how rare they are.

At any rate, once upon a time we could buy the “best” gear from wvw vendors but with ascended this is no longer the case. Thus I think it would really just be modernizing the vendors, really.

lol I think it wasn’t the best move to make pvp to get it when they need it the least. But since they opened up that route…

I think heroics + gold + badges+ karma, or even better yet, badges + karma + heroics and if they don’t want that, to make it possible to buy damask and whatever those things are with heroics and badges too.

Although,as a note to you all, I’m sure most wvw players should have a good amount of karma. Try buying those festive bags for wintersday. I spent 8 million and while opening those bags was obnoxious, I have enough to craft another set of ascended for one of my characters. Yea, there are better ways to convert karma, but those are tedious and I am skeptical any WvW minded person would waste their time on it. You’re probably not going to be using that karma on anything else, right?

Why Do Anet Allow Spawn Camp ?

in WvW

Posted by: ArchonWing.9480

ArchonWing.9480

People are used to either having a WP’d keep or having a commander hand hold them out of spawn. So it might be a good idea for people to show others different paths. I’m not being facetious; some people may just have never had the need or they log off before things go really bad, etc.

Due to the zerging based nature of the game, people often don’t have to think for themselves because they can get carried by others. But then considering the sentiment that individual actions won’t matter anyways, I guess the effort put into it feels not worth it. I shouldn’t talk too much kitten though, since there’s many parts of PvE and probably WvW where I am utterly clueless in. I mean, if I can just sit back, not get noticed while tapping 1, what do I really have to gain when I’ll get rewarded (or not)? Though usually I go look it up instead of instantly complaining.

Don’t take it like I’m bashing though. Stuff like being on a ram or a mortar or something trying to attack a reinforced structure is not fun and it’s not even just casual minded folks that would rather have someone else do it. But the “someone else do it” mentality spreads everywhere, and then you get this.

Why Do Anet Allow Spawn Camp ?

in WvW

Posted by: ArchonWing.9480

ArchonWing.9480

You’d think it’d be a pretty big advantage to be able to kite back to a location where you are invulnerable and you’re capable of instantly coming back. Put two and two together and you realize you can’t win that fight. Now, do you go attacking your enemy’s keep alone when there’s 5 defenders above watching? Do you go fight people without your armor on? Now if you don’t, why do you think it’s a good idea to take the fight in front of your spawn that you should clearly win given even odds?

If you can’t win that fight, then you probably should stop engaging and find another map. Yes I know the enemy will get bored and find you eventually, but at least you’re doing something.

Spawn camping isn’t the problem, it’s merely the symptom of whatever led to this situation. Part of it is probably population imbalance, but if you have players that repeatedly pick the same exit after what happened last time, then it’s not surprising.

Yea, get the 1050; no reason to get the 950. You should be good, at least, for Gw2. You can also stick with the i3; it’s very good for its price as an i5 almost doubles it. But this changes if you want to play newer games. A better CPU would help if you plan in doing lots of WvW, but the crappy programming is far more of a bottleneck than anyone’s hardware.

Also, I would drop it to 8gb unless you do something that requires more of it, that is, you can actually prove that your computer uses that much memory. Yes, ram isn’t that expensive but since you are on a budget, I would save the money and use the money towards getting yourself an i5. Or an SSD— you’ll probably appreciate it more often. The load time reduction is great and I actually visit Lion’s Arch now.

Personally, I don’t run much though but even when I record Gw2 I don’t even reach 8gb of usage on Windows 10, even with Chrome sometimes eating up memory in the background when I forget to turn it off.

In any case , upping your processor or getting 1 SSD would do much more than getting 16 gb of ram as opposed to 8.

Furious sharpening stones. I was skeptical about ferocity but actually upon reading it, I’ll give it a shot. I don’t think it’ll be that big of a difference over the cheap stones or the 1 hr potent though. Oh quartz crystals lol. If you exclude them it’s not too bad although I have a quartz node.

The writs seem really situational to me. Maintaining above 90% seems like a difficult thing, but in reality that seems like a lot of work for 50-100 power. Maybe if you are full glass.

I think you folks would be better off to complain about the absolute superiority of the mussels line of foods though.

As for siege, siege is so cheap now for the most part even if you run of heroics. Regular siege is good for those situations where you have exactly enough for it and not enough for a superior. Otherwise, it doesn’t have much use unless you run in a big group where supply isn’t an issue anyways or it’s trivial to resupply (usually EB)

The Most Frustrating WvW Dailies

in WvW

Posted by: ArchonWing.9480

ArchonWing.9480

There is absolutely no obligation for the game to provide you with anything if you’re going for “extra credit”. That’s just self imposed.

Though I do think the individual chests could be buffed a little. PvE gives you crafting materials, and that small reward boost we get isn’t bad, but not that impressive either.

If you do really want it, the best way to guarantee any daily (besides keep, and it’s the best chance too) is to find the most deserted map where your server is weakest, and tag up to gather up as many pugs on the map as you can because if they’re on the map, they often will have the same agenda. And no, you don’t need a blob, 5-10 can easily capture most lesser structures and net 2 levels pretty easily. If you don’t have a tag, then ask out if there’s anyone that would like to run. Or find some friends or guildies.

The Most Frustrating WvW Dailies

in WvW

Posted by: ArchonWing.9480

ArchonWing.9480

In general, I find WvW dailies much faster and sometimes easier than their pve counterparts, especially if Big Spender is available. If Mystic Forger shows up in the pve dailies as well, it’s almost a freebie.

It’s actually rare for me to find 3 pve dailies these days ever since they put a jumping puzzle as one of them and event completer is the worst thing ever. On the other hand, you only need 3 dailies total anyways so I don’t see much to complain about—you should never have to spend several hours on dailies you don’t have to do.

But as for the ones that annoy me in WvW:

Veteran Creature is annoying because you have to wait for respawns if someone already killed it, plus unlike the other dailies doesn’t have anything to do with WvW. It’s particularly horrid on a busy night where maps can be queued and you can’t just jump maps and also when you have tons of people that will pass on by to grab the daily. I don’t think it’d hurt to change this to say, to expand this to include a few more things.

Objective defender is obnoxious. Sometimes it’s really easy, but other times you can’t rely on it since it’s up to the enemy to attack something so you have a chance to repair. Plus there’s always the temptation to waste a little supply in that wall that keeps getting trebbed…

Keep capturer is notably harder than anything else on the list simply due to the fact the enemy doesn’t usually take lightly to someone knocking their keep for a daily.

Camp capture is easy, but it requires 2 captures while everything else on the list (including easier things like sentries or dolyaks) only requires 1. Don’t need to change this, but I consider it an oddity.

Overall, I think life would be easier if there were 5 options per game mode, but that would be more of a QoL rather than a difficulty thing.

I hate these things but this is mostly because reward tracks already litter the place with tomes. I have 9 level 80s, a few hundred tomes, and a couple of those level scrolls I’ll never use. Once in a while I will recreate my mid-level bag opener because I inevitably screw up by accidentally leveling them up somehow and do a key run but that’s honestly so boring and keys suck anyways. That’s still more scrolls and tomes than I’ll ever use. It is funny to be level 45 in the starting instance though.

Tomes are already marginally useful, but having little pieces of a marginally useful item is like getting something that you need to convert 10 of to get a minor rune— pointless. And you can only exchange them in a few select places when I avoid Lion’s Arch like the plague.

I would just like level 80 characters to be able to use them.

how to level leathercrafting to 500 now ?

ArchonWing.9480

http://gw2crafts.net/leatherworking.html
http://gw2crafts.net/leatherworking_400.html

It’s honestly not too bad— it costs around 100 gold to go from 0 to 500 which pales in comparison to the cost of actually crafting ascended armor. So if that is considered too costly, I don’t recommend crafting ascended armor or wait until stuff drops so you can use the mystic forge on it.

The best way to level ascended crafting I think at this point is to craft some ascended components such as elonian leather that you need for your armor set in advance. This will raise your level a bit and you will have made stuff you need anyways. You want to create as much overlap as possible to save money. If you’re thinking about mass refining t7 materials please don’t. Beyond the first few levels they give very little and also cost a bunch of reagents. But do refine the ones that you will need to make your set of armor.

Once you get to 470+, you’re stuck crafting exotic armor.

From experience, the best way to get to 500 from your point is to consider crafting an exotic set of armor for an alt that can use it.

As a side note, with the introduction of leather synthesizer, having a guild hall to mooch off of, or going into World vs World might net some leather as well. And this goes without saying, but fire a crafting booster as well.

Bring Down The Abomination (is a joke)

in Living World

Posted by: ArchonWing.9480

ArchonWing.9480

Are you killing the grubs when the Abomination is right in the middle of them? You need to make sure it gets caught in the death blast of all of them. Use the two groups of four first.

I was using solar beam (primarily) and it tends to be quite random (while in motion) and I was popping the undead ones with the abomination out of position. I had to be a little more careful. I guess I play the game in a little more relaxed state than required… The final step should be a laugh riot.

Well, that’s your problem. Staff isn’t a good choice for being able to take out the grubs you want quickly. Pretty much any other weapon [lb, gs, sword] is a better choice.

Put your pet on passive so it doesn’t accidentally kill grubs prematurely and use it to hold the boss down when it’s on top of the grubs. Then just take your time killing a grub.

Why is the endgame so "unrewarding"?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: ArchonWing.9480

ArchonWing.9480

It’s more than 5%.. Full exotic to full ascended is more like 10-15%.

The game is balanced around a certain tier of gear. Massive variance makes it very difficult to design future content to maintain accessibility. It creates pressure for people to grind in order to keep up. When the gains aren’t that big, it’s simply not mandatory.

And success in the game should be determined by experience and knowledge of mechanics. That’s how you should get better, not by doing the same repetitious tasks millions of times.

I think the concept of trying very hard at content so you can find ways to trivialize the very same content a tedious and meaningless game mechanic.

Why should a better or more dedicated player get a crutch to finish the same content easier? And for us that play mostly WvW, a lot would not appreciate being made to grind pve content more.

Dueling in PVE?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

ArchonWing.9480

Guild halls use pve mechanics which means retaliation and confusion are more effective and this can break fights pretty bad.

I believe most people are asking for dueling in PvE which means it will use PvE mechanics. I’m not sure if they can make your skills work differently while in PvE, like use the WvW mechanics instead.

I was simply explaining why Guild Halls are currently an inadequate option for some people.

As for technical limitations or whatnot that keeps getting brought up in the thread, that may be true, but we can’t speak on behalf on Anet on what they can or can’t do. So let’s not decide for them.

I bring this up, not because I am pushing for dueling in pve, but pointing out potential flaws in currently existing venues may lead to improvements on them so it may no longer be necessary. Guild halls, though, have inherent limitations since they aren’t always accessible by everyone.

I find this amusing because oftentimes non-humans in fantasy tend to much more diverse because creators can afford to go in many directions with them while humans tend to be rather typical.

You can explore many more aspects of nonhuman society, because I guess there’s a moral panic if people do such a thing. Even if they’re really not earthling humans but just resemble them.

In this game, humans are alright, but the asura and charr tend to get all the cool stuff so they seem more interesting.

Dueling in PVE?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: ArchonWing.9480

ArchonWing.9480

So just let us have fun, and stop fighting what others want to do amongst themselves.

I’m sure the reason they added dueling in the Guild Hall was in some way to see if there is interest about it. Judging by the many guild halls I’ve visited, I’m not sure if the results were very encouraging. The first step towards adding dueling in the game is convincing the devs that there is actual in-game demand for it, not by posting posts on the forums, I’m sure they can monitor how many people use any Guild Arena, or are dueling in WvW (for those without guilds and no way of paying the costs of an arena)

And if players aren’t dueling in the already existing dueling areas, then the question becomes, why aren’t they? Maybe those asking for duels aren’t asking for duels to fight with others one on one but want something else? Someone mentioned it earlier, asking for duels everywhere as attention seekers, asking for duels in many places so you can have an audience. The audience and the attention is what matters or the act of dueling?

There are numerous reasons why people can feel that the current options are inadequate.

PvP duels only use a few select stats which some may feel lacks customization or results in incredibly boring fights. As the game mode was structured around point capture and not necessarily 1v1 duels, this can be an issue.

Guild halls use pve mechanics which means retaliation and confusion are more effective and this can break fights pretty bad. Perhaps they should improve guild halls. The other big problem is not everyone has access to a Guild Hall that has an arena. As a side note, I generally like to keep my pve build static, and have it use my wvw build. But that’s a small thing.

WvW duels are probaly the closest to what a lot of folks want, but interference is always a problem, plus you have WvW’ers hating on people that want to duel instead of PPT’ing, blobbing etc. Duelists themselves may not like that they are causing disruption to the map. Obsidian Sanctum is a good place but again interference.

As an aside, I don’t think people are fair to the intentions of duelists. Sure, there’s egotistical people, but there’s also people that just want to do it because they can. A lot of this so called toxic behavior comes from wannabe gankers that want to player kill and deliberately target weaker players. But not all duelers are after that; they probably do want even fights….

Dueling in PVE?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: ArchonWing.9480

ArchonWing.9480

I don’t know. The PvP players don’t want PvE in their maps. Should the PvE players be different? Should the PvP maps and WvW maps be changed to accommodate the PvE-only players? Should all the modes of play be intertwined?

I think that there is a difference. Some PvPers dont want PvE elements included in the scoring or victory conditions for PvP scenarios and maps. None of the people (that I have seen) requesting dueling in PvE maps are asking for those duels to contribute to scoring, completion, or any other aspect of PvE open world events.

WvW players are none to keen to have PvE people on their maps. When crafting was removed from WvW borderlands, one of the things that WvW players liked was it removed PvE only players. Since the borderlands rarely have a queue, their presence didn’t affect that.

Uhh, borderlands do have queues in certain tiers, frequently, more so since tiers have been consolidated. And anet claimed it was affecting their population calculations. Unless the addition of a dueling area would be proven to cause players to be unable to enter maps or interfere with their metrics, I don’t think that’s a fair comparison at all. Queues are an issue and are highly annoying. Not to say there aren’t a lot of toxic people that don’t like pvers, but those tend to fall under the control freak variety and simply do not like any style of play that doesn’t match their own.

So it’s not really the removal of pve players, but rather players that are too cheap to spend 3 silver to go to a crafting station. And yes, I felt the same way to so called wvwers that were apparently endlessly crafting weapons and armor too.

This issue is no different than say, if there were crafting stations in Auric Basin or Tangled Depths. I think there would definitely be complaints that maps were full if lots of people were using the stations. Attempting to spin this into a pve-wvw’er issue isn’t particularly fair because there have always been conflicts regarding any maps, such as people doing hero points when the meta comes out, or just people not participating in the meta at all.

And there is pve in WvW, even if a lot of people don’t like it. Lords use breakbar mechanics too, and there’s a small amount of pve skill required to capture minor objectives such as camps. WvW also uses pve stats and gear, unlike pvp which is meant to be fair. Though I would imagine some of the pve hate also stems from insecurity, because the dominance of zerging generates a lot of egotistical players that really can’t do anything on their own, and are in fact allowed to be successful in WvW despite being probably worse than the pve players they claim lack skills. Perhaps they hate pve because they can’t do it. =p Sure, there’s zerging in pve too, but rarely does anyone brag about that.

That being said, I would never approve of open world pvp in pve, never approved of WvW map completion, and believe there should be alternate ways to get the Gift of Battle. I don’t even like that the pve dailies are more tedious to get relative to WvW. But, If dueling was confined to its own area where it doesn’t cause maps to be full then I hardly see that to be a problem. Diablo 3 is mainly a pve game because they didn’t want that kind of baggage, and they still managed a fairly non-serious brawl system.

Nope, but with the seasonal item, it seems like it’s even worse.

I’ve purchased BL keys once… and that was from the Account Jump Start. I would never buy them on their own.

A meta that practicaly excludes half the classes is bound to do that. And warriors being left out is definitely part of the equation. Revs have definitely eaten up the roles that others could have taken.

Hmm, it is kinda odd the progression is heading tankier because of all the damage reduction we have now. Going from 3000 to 3300 armor is just 10% less damage which is the affect of an additional frost armor. But if you have, say 40% damage reduction, your average 5k blow is going to go down to 3k. So 10% armor nets… 300 less damage? But I always thought full pvt was a thing too.

Of course, part of this is also due to the design of the guardian class itself. It’s always been stuck to Honor-Valor-Virtues forever because take one of those away and it falls apart like a jenga tower since the base HP is so low. It’s rarely a choice to say go to zeal or radiance in any context outside of pve and DH is kinda cool but even that has problems. It gets to the point where one is super edgy for changing to a single trait that improves damage.

Make Defending Possible

As for defending, I find that it’s very hard to stop me from disabling some siege (say point blank catas or rams) on a scrapper and I don’t wear that much of tanky gear.

https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Toss_Elixir_B
https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Sneak_Gyro

If you want to be risky, you can switch back to mortar, and use the orbital strike on the siege. You may be able to use mortar shots but you’ll need to often jump up (not out!) to hit it. It’s generally never worth it.

To get away in case of failure

(Optional)

It’s also not too hard on a guardian/dh or chrono, but not as safe in my experience.

If you get off a few good disables then someone can usually slowly wear the siege down from somewhere. Obviously if they’re building it far away or trebbing you then it’s going to be near impossible if they’re big enough but at least you can waste their lives on such a thing.

only WvW upgrade that pay to win is dragon banner.

I agree, along with air strike it was just dumb, which is why I shed no tears when they got bashed with the nerf bad. It hasn’t been that big of a deal since in my experience though.

I’d love to see badges of honor become the most efficient way to gain wvw benefits, whether through some interaction with scribing or something new.

Not getting rid of what’s in place now, just creating a way fir players and guilds who spend the most time in Wvw to gain the greatest wvw benefits (without having to subsidize wvw with non-wvw play).

I think Proof of Heroics were pretty good. I almost have 2000 of them so I can freely choose any of the runes/sigils without going to HoT maps anymore as well as being able to get any kind of siege I want immediately with the provisoner. Giving something to do with badges would be nice too, and I hope some combination of badges or heroics would be good for getting living story things. Personally, I would love to see some kind of WvW ascended jewelery that lets you pick stats.

It’s to ensure various materials have value. You can see how much cheaper it is to make ascended equipment as opposed to just buying it.

I think it wouldn’t hurt to be able to buy Charged Quartz Crystals directly though, but this might be because I have some that I can’t do anything with.

or they just flat out run with your gold and stop talking to you.

Nah, if you find someone like this you keep stringing them along extorting more gold from them.

It’s probably fortunate that a lot of scammers lack that degree of sophistication.

Scam or not, I just find it interesting that someone could propose such a lopsided deal when asking for help. Normally, you have to answer the question “what’s in it for me?” It’s almost egotistical in a way, sorta like “You can purchase the privilege of being in our presence”, not that narcissism doesn’t run wild in these parts.

They’re asking for your help, and they want you to pay? lol. Sounds a bit shady since they get most of the benefits and you have no way of enforcing this deal either. They might just say “Oh, we can’t get you in for now. We’ll be working on it soon [but really never]” or they just flat out run with your gold and stop talking to you.

I do think the scribing costs are still rather high but the difference here and pve is that wvw is generally speaking, a collective effort when it comes to holding or taking objectives, whereas the goals in pve are generally people looking out for themselves. Individuals don’t win wars. Obviously the costs would be excessive to a few individuals but serverwide, it’s really not that big of a deal and also gives ways for pve members of a guild or whatever to contribute to the war effort.

Not everyone has to spend all that resources to get it all, because that would be redundant. On my server, I can claim on behalf of 2 guilds with full auras but it’s almost never necessary because there’s a number of other guilds [including those pve guilds people talk trash about] claiming them with auras already. Siege? Just ask. Plenty of dedicated guilds have tons of siege ready to be used. They might not be fancy guild stuff but most of the time it’s not really a big deal. Food? I usually carry on a dozen pots of the lemongrass— if you want mussels, do it yourself. It’s not really that big of a deal.

In the past few months, I have done 2 AB metas (didn’t stay for multiloot— I have better things to do with my life) and the occasional LS specific dailies for the new zones. I could easily get a ton more gold, but I really don’t see the need because honestly most of the stuff I see is just splurging.

Overall, I feel this so called pay to win, is really self inflicted; and this is fairly typical for these forums as a whole—trying to win a race where nobody was actually racing to begin with.

Op, you take the game way too serious it seems. You’re imagining things. Mag farmed FA in their corner and took their keep. “We got proof”(ROFL) You should just take a break and go outside or take a break and play a bit on another game or watch a comedy. This game isn’t worth raging over. Seriously.

Yea, I’ve been reading it isn’t healthy.

I gather the matchup sucks, but really, I’m not sure why you would think they would need to 2v1 to beat you. It seems like Green had a really strong train going and blue just took advantage of the situation. EDIT: Wait, blue is attacking green’s EB side…. If anything blue is helping you.

Also, FA’s being pretty aggressive on Mag’s BL. Meanwhile, Red BL is mostly intact. This might be because it’s the desert BL, but if there was a true 2v1 I doubt you’d have any of it left- that means they must be fighting each other somewhere.

And besides, even if they 2v1 you, then you’ll lose glicko and be less likely to roll this bad matchup again. Perhaps you should thank them instead.

Advice on Guard Build w. Minstrel/Nomad

[WvW]

This is my personal heal/support build. Yes, technically there’s only 2 minstrel trinkets and a celestial ring because I don’t feel like crafting another set of minstrel armor but you can definitely put nomads and minstrels in any of the slots if so desired but I feel like I’m tanky enough. Basically it’s mostly revolving around aegis heal spam and spamming shield skills also helps.

Notes:

  • Take Merciful Intervention instead of retreat if your group is organized.
  • Take Strength in Numbers when if another guardian isn’t doing it already
  • Communal defenses is alright, but honestly underwhelming.
  • Take mussels gnashblade if you are rich and feel like you could use survival
  • Take lemongrass/poultry leek soup for a cheaper alternative.
  • Double energy sigils are great for sustain, if desired.

The worst Mastery system Ever

Container Mastery

After receiving much feedback on the containers that are acquired as rewards, we have decided to make the containers a more intricate and engaging part of the game. We hope this will increase the player’s immersion in the world.

In order to encourage players to pursue the tracks, the ability to open any kind of container has been removed without a specific Container Opening Tool until the first level of this mastery has been unlocked We think it will allow players to rediscover the joy of opening containers.

Level 1— Super packaging. Containers are contained inside 10 larger containers. We hope that will make attaining loot more intricate and involved
Level 2— Safe Packaging. All items retrieved to and from the bank will now be transferred via containers. A fee of 5 copper is required per packaging.
Level 3 — Custom Packaging. You can now reskin containers. Available from the gem store
Level 4 — Environmentally Safe Packaging-- Your containers are now made of “green” material that is safe for Tyria’s environment. All cooking materials are now screened by the Tyria Health and Safety department which will charge 1 copper per inspection. Note that carrying containers across different map zones may require additional forms. Please allow 6-8 weeks for processing.

Level 5— Compassionate Packaging. In order to raise awareness and appreciation for the differences between the denizens of Tyria we have altered container names to be more sensitive to different groups.

  • “Bag of Skitt Shinies” is now “Bag of SHINY!!!!!!!” to no longer perpetuate the stereotype that all skritt are into shiny objects
  • " Bag of Booty" has been renamed “Bag of Economically Acquired Proceeds” This was due to pirates complaining that the name was slanderous and also the butt of many a joke.
  • " Bag of Stolen Goods" has been renamed “Bag of Borrowed Goods” as not everything on a bandit is stolen. (just most of them)
  • “Moldy Bags” have been renamed “Undead Bags”. This is to recognize that not all undead are moldy or otherwise unhygienic.

In order to celebrate this, players will now have to type the name of the object they are opening each time they open it. We hope this will improve awareness of the struggles that befall all those that live in Tyria.

First off, forced and legendary don’t belong in the same sentence. You have no grounds to make any demands when pursuing the most grindiest thing in the game that was intended as such.

However, I don’t think the way it is is too productive. Perhaps a vendor that allows the following?

1 Gift of Battle. Cost: Gifts of Exploration + 250 badges + 250 Mystic Coins
1 Gift of Exploration. Cost: 2 Gift of Battle + 500 badges + 250 Mystic Coins

Add the GoB track to PvP too.

I really hated the bank expresses, because if you accidentally move, there goes the item! It’s not like the merchant which persists and also other people can use it.

I probably ended up using like 5 of them after all these years and it wasn’t too productive for the most part. I still have 11 in my bank that I’m keeping for some reason.

I still wouldn’t consider them a junk item though.

Trading post merchants are a boon for crafters. They’re semi-useful in WvW as well but the provisioner has made them less.

Still though, a booster is better than a lousy bag for the most part.

It’s not a fix because it’s not a bug. It’s working as intended.

But it’s a stupid intention and I think it should be changed. The amount of projectile hate has grown since release and these mechanics are outdated. It’s just dumb that your buffs can fail and benefit the enemy. Change it to a spray!
