iirc, you don’t need to have an account for that, you simply download it. The email and password is to get into the game once the client is downloaded.

OP, why did you single out female armor when there is male armor in this game that Is much more revealing? If you are so concerned about modesty, immaturity and purity then why didn’t you concern yourself with the male armor also? Why is it always women who are the object of calls for censorship and judgmental remarks when they are wearing armor that is less revealing than the male armor?
Whether or not female breasts are acceptable to be shown in public is a cultural decision. Western culture has decided that the male breast area and nipples are ok to show while women’s are not. There are other cultures in the world where showing female breasts is or was not considered “impure”. Minoan women for example wore clothing that exposed their breasts. Women in many tribes wear nothing above the waist. Neither of these are considered “impure” or “immature”.
To be blunt, it’s hypocrisy to single out female armor and call it immature, impure and immodest while ignoring male armor that shows more of the same area.
Farming for powerful blood alone is very slow. It’s better to do a general farming run and use the money gained to buy what you need. I farm other stuff, like mid level blood and venom sacs. Those were about 3 silver each the other day. Sold them and used the gold to buy powerful blood.
I hope not. All the people who maxed out expensive exotic armor and weapons, some of whom got more than one set for different areas of the game, all will need to completely redo this. And I’m not even going to factor in the ascended stuff.
They need to stay at level 80. It would be heartbreaking to have to grind out more gear for no real reason.
And all the transmutation stones that will be needed. :/

Tyria, in spite of having so many undead, is cheerful, almost Disneyesque. Imo it’s from a lack of distinct day/night cycles. The game is very beautiful, but it needs a contrast for the beauty to stand out. Without contrast, you stop seeing the beauty and it becomes very samey.
In the pve maps, there aren’t areas where I slow down. Move hesitantly. Unsure of what’s ahead and the enemies that may be lurking. It feels like sunshine and flowers all the time.

I’ve never heard anyone mention that the Oakheart was preventing the Behemoth from spawning before. Learn new things every day!
Yeah, I didn’t know either. I researched wiki for this question and by digging through several pages, came across the note at the bottom of the page for the Shadow Behemoth event. I was wondering if the Axatle from the portals killed it and was trying to find that information.
I remember when the game first started, the Shadow Behemoth rarely started up. Maybe it was because people weren’t killing this champ and it was blocking it.

I have the same problem and I posted a request about 2 hours ago. Please help. Is there a limit to the amount of gems you can buy? If so, how much is the limit and for how long before the reset? Thank you.
Apparently ANet does have limits put on gem sales. I’ve never seen a post saying what the limits are though or when the reset is. These limits can be increased but the person has to go through support in order to do so, which I assume you did based on what you said.
The pavilion is not available, or it’s no longer feasible.
The Queensdale champ train, I only have level 80s now and exp scales to your level so a level 80 makes more exp then a low level. Iirc, a level 80 makes about 10k exp for each Champ event, (just by going off memory here).
Try a circuit and see how much you get and see if it’s worthwhile.
On my server it’s troll, bandit, oak, spider, boar, then back to troll. Wasp will be thrown in between boar and troll if it happens to spawn.
I’ve been having the same problem. I’ve submitted a ticket days ago. Now I’m just playing the waiting game.
If you haven’t heard from them try checking all your folders, the spam and junk folders, and read this thread. not getting email.
If you still can’t find it and you don’t think its part of known email problems, and if it’s been 3 days or more since you heard from them you can post your ticket number in this thread, 3 day or older tickets.
I don’t think they do check the new names. If the name gets past the filter, then it’s only checked when someone reports it.
You’re assuming they have enough time to check all these people’s names at character creation or shortly after. That’s not likely. It’s more time efficient for them to let people create names and then only check the reported ones.

It’s an acquired taste. He probably doesn’t have much gold. He need to go out, do some events, get some karma and cash and buy enough beer from a vender to throw a nice party. A kegger. He can make friends and if he drinks enough, he can worship at the Mystic Toilet the next day and experience a couple of new feelings known as “hangover” and “regret”.
I remember some interview, that I can’t find now, where they mentioned Legendary trinkets. iirc, there would possibly be an aura associated with them. It wasn’t hard information through. The ANet staffer was more tossing out possibilities.
Fast but expensive: The fastest is you get to max level in each crafting profession on that character. If you get to level 400 in each, you will get to level 70 and you can do it in one day.
‘Fast’ and cheap: maybe to run the Queensdale champ train continuously. Karma, exp, and gold. Tremendously boring though.
Or combine the two, craft to get some levels and run the champ train for some more.
Hmmm. There is a game forgets password bug but this isn’t it since you are able to login to the forum, using email and password. That bug won’t let you log into the forum once the game forgets.
I assume you have already contacted support? If you haven’t yet, go to top of page-support. Then top of page-submit a request. From there, make a ticket.
To make sure you aren’t making a typo, maybe just for one try change your password to something very simple. Try to login then.
If that doesn’t work, maybe do a repair of the files. I have Windows and this is what ANet sent me as instructions for a repair.
Repairing the client:
First,
Hold down the Windows button on the keyboard and hit the “R” key.
Paste in the following line: C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\Guild Wars 2
Click “OK.”
Delete the local.dat file located here.
Next,
Navigate to your Guild Wars 2 installation folder.
Right-click on “GW2.exe” and select “Create Shortcut.”
Rename this shortcut to “Guild Wars 2 Repair.”
Right-click on this shortcut and select “Properties.”
Edit the “Target” line to include -repair at the end. Note: Please make sure -repair is outside of the quotes -- Correctly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe” -repair -- Incorrectly Formatted Example: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\GW2.exe -repair”
Once completed, click “Ok” to save your changes. If you get an error trying to save, your target line may not have the correct format. Please try Step 5 again.
Right-click “Guild Wars 2 Repair” and select “Run as Administrator.”
Allow the repair to run and once completed, right-click" “GW2.exe” or your Guild Wars 2 Shortcut and select “Run as Administrator.”
Double-clicking Guild Wars 2 Repair will begin the repair process. The game will launch when it is complete".
it’s not the display name (ultradeej) for either the forum or the game. The login for the forum is exactly the same as the game, email and password. So use the forum login information (and make sure you aren’t making a typo).
They can’t do anything to the medium and heavy armor. Now people (some) have bought these because they like them. There would be the same headache as making the light armor wearers happy with a redesign without the reason to remove.
And don’t forget that the prices are set based on cash not exchanged gold. So the question should be is $6.25 too much for a helm?
If you can get a whole armor set for a $3.75, then hell yeah it is!
Well, there were threads where people asked to buy armor pieces separately and said they were willing to pay more for the individual pieces. I guess ANet reads the forums also.
Except the helmet isn’t part of a set and people were suggestion selling single pieces of a set for ~200-30 instead of 800 for the whole thing, not 500.
ANet doesn’t have to follow the ideas exactly. If people say they are willing to buy individual pieces and pay extra for it, ANet can then take the idea and do what they like with it. They can change it to selling individual pieces that are not part of a set and charge whatever they think the market will bear. They don’t have to use the prices that the threads suggest.
You are completely missing the point. People were suggestion the option to buy single pieces, no matter the price. These skins are individual only without a corresponding set.
Nope, not missing the point. People wanted to buy single pieces and that’s what ANet is selling. Now the people were assuming the single pieces would be part of a set, but there is no reason for ANet to follow suggestions exactly. They read the forums, saw where people would buy individual pieces and were willing to pay extra and put their own twist to it.
Like I said, ANet reads the forums also. What they do with the ideas people come up with is another story.
The trouble with a kitten (the ideas that people come up with) is that
It grows up and becomes a cat (it can be changed from what people asked for. In this case, individual pieces that cost nearly as much as a whole set).
I’ve actually done the final dungeon 3 times. But not for me, always for a guildie that finished and wanted help. Mine are all stuck early to mid level. I have one that has chosen an order, out of 8.
And it takes soooo long. Each time we did the last part of the personal story and then the dungeon. It took about 2 to 3 hours the first time (back at launch, so don’t remember exactly). I can’t imagine asking guildies or friends to do it 8 times, even if I wanted to do it myself.
Too bad it looks ridiculous on an Asura. :/ I’ll stick with my Winged Headpiece transmuted over Jatoro’s Mask. Both I like, and are the only two I’ve found that I liked, but alas can only have one. The headpiece wins because covers the green ribbons in my hair that don’t match my color scheme. Not that I’m bitter, but I’m NOT paying for a hair style kit just to change the color of the ribbons. Actually, I find most of the light armor headwear / masks look terrible on Asura. I really wish they would change the ribbon color as part of the wardrobe.

No, in a situation like this they want you to contact support. Top of page-support, then top of page-submit a request. Make a ticket and tell them what happened.
