I will identify them, then I will use them, once my main character has that dye unlocked it moves down to my second favorite (or the one who would benefit from that color).
After all of my characters are unlocked with dyes, then they have my permission to be sold.
Besides, there’s always the Mystic Forge.
It’s not realistic and would just make the world a complete joke having all these women running around naked.
Yeah, I said pretty much the same thing to my bipedal cat as we fought an undead dragon on the drive home from work today. He had just finished casting a fireball and replied, “you know what would really be ridiculous, is seeing a naked woman out here.” Then I drank a potion and turned into a tornado.
That should be on the box wording for GW2.
You’ll get more purchases just to wonder ‘what the heck is going on there?!’
I’ll just strip my character’s armor off during April 1st and see how far he lives.
It will be Unseen Ones armor or something. Only the worthy can see my actual armor while everyone else thinks I’m a raving loon flailing a greatsword around. Is “greatsword” a euphemism?
Now the skill that makes you spin around and throw lightning is even funnier.

Queen Jenna really is a great mesmer. Think about it, she crafts wonderful illusions.
For a while, she had us actually thinking he was worthwhile.
Now another joke.
Logan: “Knock Knock”
You: “Who’s there?”
Logan: “Logan”
You: “Logan who?”
he had already run off
You: “Hello? Still there?”
Wedge Antilles took great inspiration from his long ago ancestor Logan.
If it looks like an important battle, best be late.
It is also available in epub format, the second book as well, I’ve preordered for the third one which will hopefully release this summer.
Good to hear Colin, I’ll just keep on enjoying the game until that blog post is made.
When you enter a dungeon, it says “recommended players: 5” on the confirmation screen. This might hint that there will be dungeons for other player counts down the road.
Actually that wouldn’t be a bad idea.
They could have dungeons that require at least 5, but allow more in your party to a specific max number (like 8 ).
Your Mesmer does have a Claudia Black influence to her, very nice.

I would throw money at my screen right now.
Killeen was cool in that story.
I miss her and Snaff
Countess Anises voice. Yes, her voice is even hotter than her looks :P
Yes.
I do like Eir as well, but Petra is just so adorable.
Granted adorable isn’t in this topic, but rather hotness is.
Crafting, even weapons, at first can seem a bit confusing. After you’ve gotten some of the steps down it becomes rather easy.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Weaponsmith
The main combination you need to remember for weapons is:
*You’ll need a handle of sorts (like Small Green Haft)
*You’ll need a weapon side of sorts (like Bronze Axe Blade)
*You’ll need some sort of inscription (like a version of the Bronze or Green Inscriptions)
The last part is the more complex part for some beginning crafters.
The first two parts (handle and weapon side) are usually crafted by taking planks of a specific type of wood and a specific type of metal ingot.
So let’s make up a quick example with the Malign Bronze Axe that is listed in this link:
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Bronze_Axe
For this weapon you’ll need three items:
*Bronze Axe Blade: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Bronze_Axe_Blade
*Small Green Haft: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Small_Green_Haft
*Malign Green Inscription: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Malign_Green_Inscription
You could buy these at the trading posts if you have the coin, but if you want to save that money you could craft them.
Each of these things needs to be made from raw materials you’ve gathered or bought.
You can easily find out what is needed for each item by clicking on it in the Crafting Pane. Once you have all three items created, then you can use those items to craft the weapon if it is in your Crafting Pane.
What if I don’t have it listed in my Crafting Pane? That’s where the Discovery Tab comes into place. The Discovery Tab works like the Mystic Forge in the sense that you add three things together and something should come out as a result assuming those things do go together.
In the Discovery Pane you would add in your Bronze Axe Blade, Small Green Haft, and Malign Green Inscription. If you are on the right track, the Discovery Pane should tell you if an item will result from this and allow you to hit Craft.
When you do this, you’ve just discovered a new thing to make!
Maybe I’m just strange, but the lack of forcing me to form groups only increased my desire to communicate with people.
I played GW1 and other games out there where it made more sense to group up with people and then play out the game.
Nearly every time that happened I tried to solo even if it wasn’t advantageous.
However GW2 doesn’t care if I group or not.
Do I go around world zerging? Yes.
Do I help heal people who are down? Nearly every time.
Do I party up with someone if they are new and need help? I actually do enjoy this now.
Do I want to run dungeons now? For the first time in years, absolutely.
Does this mean the game is perfect? No, but it has made me a bit more sociable online to the point I’m not auto-rejecting guild invites from people I know and party with whenever possible.
Granted this post was created months ago, but we still have this problem.
Even if a few players push back against the Bandits there’s barely a second before the swarming begins anew.
The Seraph took some inspiration from Dwayna, so yeah I can see why there’d be wings.
I suddenly expect your character to leap off tall buildings into carts of hay.
Assassins Cat: Laundry Day
I played GW1 a bit more to get some extra Monument points for my GW2 characters.
Now I kind of said goodbye to GW1 because the fighting style is so rigid, plus I like jumping.
I love GW2’s ability to let me just roam when I want. I was so sick of GW1’s ‘You must complete this mission before we let you see the rest of this map’ routine.
I don’t mind GW1, for a while it was the only thing I cared about.
Now that GW2 is available there’s less desire to go back.
I read the original post until I got to:
“AND it would allow: People who HATE WoW type games to keep playing their mindless spam 12345 at a boss that doesn’t move to keep playing their mode.”
Not interested now, thanks anyways. If you want this ancient dusty trinity that needed to die there are other games to play with that Risen-like system.
I’m still enjoying PVE. When I am done with all the classes on that I’ll see about WvW.
Thanks for:
-Allowing me to level up in ways outside of “grr smash 10 rats”
-Allowing me to play a game where I don’t hear ridicule and can’t join a team because of some cookie cutter mentality.
-Allowing me to help someone and then move on quickly without feeling obligated to stay any further than I want.
-Rewarding my curiousity with big maps, map clearing, and jumping puzzles
-Seperating PVP and PVE in a manner where neither feel like a ghetto.
-No Monthly fee
-Giving me a fun experience.
Gods I hope not, I don’t need any of that e-trash messing up my favorite game.
or Zrii (pic attached)? They even seem to have bubbly personalities that seem pretty interesting.
YES Zrii! Thank you for posting, I was going to until I read this whole thread.
Zojja is tied because I love her voice and attitude at times.
The term is voluptuous :-)
The term is delicious.
Forthirc Bellum, because the latter is the latin word for war.
Maybe his merchant family sold weapons?
I’m not surprised, and I can see why a Sylvari would be more acceptable than a Human to a Charr. XD
“Who’s a pretty kitty?!”
“I..am.”
Wow, scariest interspecies flirting ever. lol
In the Grove, neart the Asura gate, there is an Asura and Sylvari talking about a Turing test of sorts for the Golem.
I don’t care how the future goes, so long as Zojja still lives.
Felicia Day’s voice should not die. :p
You can always /shrug and assume she’s transgender like I would. Not a big deal.
Interesting thought to be honest.
The Blair family line that my Warrior created stayed up close to the Shiverpeaks.
It had friendly relations with nearby Norns and fought valiantly to protect all of our homes. A small branch broke off to live in Divinity’s Reach, thus my Human Guardian and my Norn Necro have some family lines close to each other.
My Elonian Necro and Dervish might have fallen to Palawa Joko, but they would given a decent fight. The Canthan Ritualist would have stayed and fought for the Emperor until his eventual death and then cremation. My Assassin would eventually move to Lion’s Arch and help the nearby Humans and Tengu. His name still lives on in my new Thief. My Paragon would have left Elona and realised its fall would happen, making his way to Ebonhawke.
My Ranger would possibly have had a similar fate to loneknight’s Monk. He loved the sun, his last name being Sunrider, and would have defended Melandru’s creations well until his eventual burial under a tree facing the sunrise every morning. That explains why my Sylvari ranger took a name echoing in his dream and always enjoys a lovely sunrise.
My Monk possibly would have died near Lion’s Arch before the tsunami. He did love helping people and putting the undead back to rest. My Elementalist would have gone back to Ascalon and died with the King fighting the Charr. So it is possible I could have fought his spirit without realising it.
My mesmer would have done what he does best: fade away and leave a good mystery. Though I would happily imagine him entertaining children in some village with his magic at an old age.
Revan tell her I’ve got 2 gold for her if she has little shame.
That’s right: clean the centaur stables for me and go to my holiday work parties so I don’t have to! lol
Who did you like more? Characters from the first games compared to GW2
in Lore
Posted by: Atlas.9704
Koss, Eve, Jora, and Vekk.
Though I am glad that Jora had a kid who is with the Vigil!
I think I saw that lady who always hangs around my street corner wearing it, I’d ask her.
Does she have a voice like Anise’s? Just an idle question, that’s all
There are storage boxes and bags you can craft which increase how many items you can hold or even automatically place certain items in them.
For example Oiled bags tend to collect ‘junk’ items as you loot bodies where invisible bags hide your items from the sales window as you talk with merchants.
Enhancements can be crafted. Jewelers can embellish some gems which you can attach to weapons and such for boost in stats.
I found Sanford and Yakkington’s grave at Ebonhawke.
“Home at last”
Because the Norn love life and take on the day with both hands. In fact I would even guess they boast about what type of cereal they ate for breakfast if they could.
Heroic music
“I awoke from dark slumber, fighting back the void monsters that were my dreams, to be thrown into this world of light! Quickly I assembled my armor and went into the other room to grab bowlfulls of Frosted Flakes. The empty bowls fell like so many dead Svanir before me as I drained a Dolyak’s amount of milk! Now I stand ready to face the day watching Spongebob and Captain Planet! Come adventure, I await you.
This is my story.”
That and Eir’s voice is nice.
Human x Sylvari
Would you do it?
For a Sylvari like Caithe? I’d go vegetarian lol.
Aersiuil, Air Elementalist Diplomat from the Cycle of Dawn.
I found a spot where the Owl statue was. Out in Lornar’s Pass I think.
Agreed, but once again I’ll have to watch myself. I might accidently craft myself into the poor house.
With a name like Purina I find this post ironic.
j/k, this is the forum’s filter. Why would you need to curse anyways? Sure you could but in this forum it will turn into kitten.
Working on a Vigil mission to help Quaggans, if I see any cute baby Quaggans I’ll get screen shots.

Resist!
For example there was a blog post concerning Cadyern, he wanted to destroy some drake eggs or whatever then another sylvari said that all things have aright to grow, so they didn’t kill the drake eggs because they weren’t a threat at the time, and they may not be a threat when they hatch.
Krait were nearly the victims, however the rest is pretty spot on.
“Children.” He frowned, for the word had little meaning. “You mean ‘they are small.’ They are small, but they are krait. They will grow up to be large krait, and then we will kill them. Why not kill them now, when it is easy and they are undefended? It seems the wisest course of action. Otherwise, we risk losing more sylvari lives when these return fully grown.”
Sylvari never have dealt with childhood and the vulnerabilities of it. Yes they are in the pods and hatch fully grown, but the closest they’ve had to having children get hurt would be the Nightmare Court corrupting the Dream.
At the moment there’s no way for a Courtier to reform so they either die or still be a threat to the Pale Tree and the Dream.
That Sylvari had dat asparagus.
Now I have a Charr Engineer named Melophites Dethklok. I am pleased.
I’ll be sure to visit you specifically at the petting zoos next time I ‘leaf’ the Grove lol.
Considering how much fertilizer the Charr spew out, this should be an easy task for you.
