I Encourage you to do so.
All the above Op.
All the above.
Unfortunately,
the ranger class was never in their project until “flavor”.
I come to the conclusion that the individuals who encouraged Arenanet to bring Rangers on board were either silenced or fired because of their Beautiful Wonderful Visions tthat hey had for the class.
They had no say regarding the process of Rangers design and creation.
All of their Beautiful Visions for the Ranger classes were ’thrown under the bus".
Alongside with all of the Beautiful Wonderful Visionary deleted, closed and Infracted threads and posts, individuals had posted

After watching “State of the Game”. i come to the conclusions…
As always
Rangers will be walked all over once again, in amusing the Elite Favorite Classes.
I’ve lost my Hopes since last patch and that includes Future patches.
I’ve had it; enough of any thing they have to say, that include so-called reasoning for
Intentionally setting this class to Fail, in Praising their Favorite Elite Classes wishes.
In other word, Im Immune to whatever, anything they say; same way they are immune in seeing goodness for our class,
Yes Heartless; as they are to our class; the Ranger
There are no Desire, Hope with whomever would mention the name Ranger because they are all the same
.
Same news, same explanations, same reasonings, same story, same everything
Their Reasonings are Malicious, Heartless, Vengeful and Sadistical.
Seriously
What more can we Rangers expect by whatever anyone have to say “converning” the class?
Absolutely Nothing
At the end of the day, they get to Laugh, Mock, Humiliate and Belittle the Ranger class along side their Favorite Elite classes.
Their Favorite Elite Class Warior is getting getting Hea;lth buff.
There shouldn’t be no shock by this…
Seriously
In conclusion.
I encourage the Ranger community to not be decieved by anything..they hear or see
“concerning” this class.
Because as i already mentioned,
They’re all the same…
They Pride in seeing this class Fail and will Decieve you into thinking they care
I remind you of “the wolf in the sheep clothe”
We are the sheep and they’re the wolves…

To be told we don’t know wht we’re talking about
To be Lied to and Decieved

I Totally Agree
I don’t seem to know why many of you are so excited about this bi-weekly update.
You can be happy but not excited because the game isn’t balance and many many bugs still remain since release that have been intentially ignored.
Great ideas and suggestion have been ‘thrown under the bus’ intentionally,
I view this update as a tactic of distracting us from the lingering problems which has plagued imbalances among the classes.
Let me put it this way.. example; it’s like having your partner telling you that he/she will buy you gifs, take you out etc,,, every 2 weeks yet, he/she is continiously constanly Abusing and Tormenting you, every day,
Question is, would/should you be “Excited” or not?
As a Ranger class and for other “victim” classes, where is the excitements in all of this?
None at all…
This “update, patch” will not heal the wound or make us forget the pain which was Intentionally permitted on us.
Fix Ranger class and class balance..
End Favoritism for our Abusers and our Tormentors
End Punishing the ‘lesser’ classes for speaking up against important problems
End Imjustice toward non-elite classes
End Revenging againt Ranger classes for complaining too much
End Rewarding Elite Classes with buffs and Rewards
Than maybe, maybe, we can have something to be excited of..
Other than that,
It’s the same Pain and Torment, over and over again..

Showing-off Grandiosity
Inconsiderate of other individuals feelings, strengths and courage

Ranger was deigned ann created by Guild Wasrs 1 designers, not by its Lore definition.
Ranger- http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Ranger
“Rangers are unique in their ability to succeed with the help of, or even in spite of, their environment. They favor long-range combat, the bow being their weapon of choice, and can be especially effective from elevated locations such as bridges and cliffs.” .
Mind as well say
Thief doesn’t mean Ninja and Assassin
Assassin-http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Assassin
“Assassin walks the shadows, a deadly viper ready to strike at the heart when the enemy least expects it, nowhere and everywhere all at once. Assassins are masters of their chosen weapon, the dagger, and are expert at inflicting Critical Strikes that cause massive damage. They have mastered the ability to move as shadows—
Ninja- http://www.cart-white.co.uk/ninja/stealth.htm
“It is often said that the Ninja is a supreme master of stealth, able to vanish in a puff of smoke or change into a wild animal form in order to facilitate an escape. In actuality it is the Ninja’s understanding of invisibility that gives them the advantage. Invisibility in reality is simply knowing how to fool the enemies senses in order to remain undetected, much like a magician misdirects in order to mystify and confuse”.
That says it all…

Becasue as you already stated, “I personally don’t think this is right since guardian is supposed to be more of a regen class”
As all other Elitist class
Their purpose is to see the deminish of the Lesser class; the Ranger who is exhaustly trying to find reasons to Live and survive.
They will continiously cry out to Arenanet so they can justify reasons to Nerf this class even more.

Also the necros have devs who want the best for their class. We Rangers don’t have devs, and if we do, they all want us to fail no matter what. (not only they nerfed our core, they aggressively with great effort nerfed our pets core as well).
They will do everything and anything within their power to remove that light in the tunnel for this class.
That is their true purpose.
Nothing much else.

Which class receives contstant Infractions for complaining against Injustiuce treatments by the their abusers and torturers?
Why than their Abusers and Torturers are constantly given Nerf-Rewarding Treatments?
Why is there Injustice to begin with?
Why is there Favoritism of classes to begin with?
Why is there a class who is given the Privilege to do whatever and whenever they want, at will? See Perma-Stealth Thief

Why is the Ranger pets were nerfed for no apparent reasons? Was it not to Satisfy the Elite classes?

The Ranger Class is Forever Gone
OP
Great Title/Post
I sworn Alliance to The Fellowship Code of the Ranger
When deciding what class will play each role, Arenanet weighs their options
Which class is the most Important? Which class deserves not to be Important?
Which class expresses Contentment ? Which class expresses Resentment?
It has come and about that Arenanet has once make it clear, over and over again that, one class will always be the scapegoat class.
This scapegoat class will always be made to carry the Elite classes blame, shame, and rejection, so they can always have more reason to be Superior and Favored. This class will always and forever be the one who is not good enough, even when this class tries to be the best to Excels at winning the Heart of Arenanet.
This class will Endure more Humiliations, Belittling and Abusive remarks and Betrayals than the rest of the other class. This class will endure the the Painful Agony of Deceptions and Inattention.
This Scapegoat class is the one who feels belonging to the trash bin into which all unwanted important matter is cast. This scapegoat class is reminded that whenever anything is wrong, with the other classes; it must to be his or her fault (the Scapegoat class.
The burdens this Scapegoat class are heavy. This scapegoat class soon learns he or she cannot ever win; there is no sense trying to prove that their class is hopeless and intentionally designed to be broken.
This Scapegoat class roles is to be the Underachiever, Troublemaker, Less Favored, Black sheep. The roles of the other classes (Elite) is to place blame on on this Scapegoat class so Arenanet can continue to justify reasons to Nerf.
For this Scapegoat class, there will always be Punishment for doing well, “reward" of continuously Nerfs.
The scapegoat class eventually surrenders to the Nerf of Blame; Worthless, and Defective and Rejection.
This Scapegoat class is the perfect target for the other classes (Elite). In other word; The scapegoat class will always be the easy target; the the outcast, the Fragile loner.
All Frustrations are put on this Scapegoat class
What remains in this Scapegoat class is feeling of guilt, brokenness, shame, rejection, isolation, aggression and suffering in pain.
This is nothing new to this Scapegoats class, for they are accustomed to accepting Blame for all problems ranging from, pets attacking too hard, short bow hitting too hard and their versatility being too quick and so on.
This Scapegoat class silent cry; “will there ever be an end to this?”

http://spinksville.wordpress.com/2013/02/25/can-hardcore-players-destroy-a-mmo/
Can hardcore players destroy a MMO?
I bet anyone who ever played a massively multiplayer online game has come up against the scenario where you realise that someone you are playing with (or against) is putting way more time, effort, research and social networking into the game than you are.
Maybe it’s That Guy who undercuts all your glyph auctions half a second after you have posted them. Every single time.
Maybe it’s the really powerful and organised alliance who seem to have a zillion players in every timezone.
Maybe it’s The Guy in your raid group (or LFR) who is all geared and tweaked out and times his/her rotation to the millisecond.
It’s easy to feel demoralised if you are competitive and you see a situation where you know you don’t want to put in the time/ money/ effort to compete with that. This is one of the big structural problems with MMOs: how do you have a game where a wide variety of players can all play together without breaking the game? Do you encourage the hardcore players/ guilds to be part of a separate more hardcore endgame? Do you encourage players to play alongside others of similar mindset and give them separate instances to mess around in?
Gevlon has a good take on this in a post about RMT where he muses that if you let players cash out their earnings from the auction house, it would attract a more professional crowd (note: his opinion of professionals is a bit higher than mine).
What effect would it have on the game? Every market fully covered, leaving no trading income to casual/newbie players, only similar professional traders could compete. The simpler income sources, like doing PvE would be covered by real world corporations using minimal wage labor (after all, ratting can be done by half-illiterates), leaving absolutely no in-game income source to the real players.
He even decided to cut back on his own trading, “giving more space to other players to play in Jita”. This isn’t a case where the hardcore would be destroying the economy, it would still function fine. Just there is a theoretical case where there are enough ultra competitive players to mean that there are no niches left for casuals in that side of the game.
There are other theoretical ways in which the ultra hardcore could push a game into a stasis from which it could never escape. You could imagine a turf holding game where all the turf ends up belonging to a few large alliances who have mutual non aggression pacts.
The only way out would be if the ruling alliances deliberately cut back on their expansionary plans (much like Gevlon describes in his trading) in order to promote a more ‘healthy’ ecosystem in the game. Where ‘healthy’ could mean anything from ‘more welcoming to new players’ to ‘more likely to give us some fun territory fights in the future.’
In a themepark game, this is all largely irrelevant (I think it’s mostly theoretical in most sandboxes too). There simply are fewer parts of the game where players would have this much control that a large powerful guild could simply win the game. But it’s interesting I think to compare with RL – sometimes looking to the long term good of the community might be worth more than going for pure domination.
Have you ever played a game where you felt you or your faction dominated so hard that it wasn’t fun any more, or where you gave up because you felt the hardcore players meant there was no point?

Warriors being Masters’ of dps’ in mmo’s isn’t nothing new.
Look at this; any class can easily kill a warrior; in fact yesterday, i killed a fully-geared berserk warrior 1v1 in wvw with a ranger.
Warrior had received a lot of nerfs since release; even their food consumption was nerfed.
I don’t play Warrior but i always Respected and Honored this class for being the front runner in battles; they Deserved to be highly geared with outputting high damage.
Now
Compare that to a thief
who can easily do what a warrior do, 2x-4xx times with equipping stealth; Cheater
whose the only class been favored with nerf-rewarding; nerf>buffs patches; Favoritism
whose the only class in the game that isn’t easily killed by any high-powerful class ; Imbalance class mechanic
Finally
The only class who has the single highest dps in the game >puts Warrior to Shame.
whose the only class that can reset a fight at will ; Unfair class balance.
The only class the Majority of Arenanet Adores and will silence and Punish anyone who complains about them/
Seriously ask yourself this;
Who is the only class among the classes that gets players the most Infractions in the forums for complaining against them? (see closed/deleted posts/threads)
Who is the only class/profession that that can Enter and Exit 12-30+ zerg without a scratch or dying?
Warrior? Nope
Mesmer? Nope
Ranger? Nope
Elementalist? Nope
Guardian? Nope
Engineer? Nope
Thief? of course!! Yes.
Now who is Arena net Favorite Profession/class?

1: The old guard:
This is a good time to be an MMO player. Years of progress in technology and design have produced a broad field full of rich, deep games that can appeal to many different kinds of players. Yet some people long for the old days – days of long grinds, cheesy graphics, harsh death penalties, and few concessions to player quality of life.
These people long for the early days of the genre, when MMOs were a niche market catering to a relatively small number of fiercely loyal players. There’s nothing wrong with a little nostalgia, but some of these old school players have let it overwhelm their better judgment. Donning a thick set of rose colored glasses, they now view all the advances of the industry as a long and terrible degradation of the MMO formula.
For these types, MMOs are meant to be hard, brutal grinds that reward only the most ruthlessly determined players. Killing thousands of mobs for hours to level up once? Bliss. Losing gear or levels upon death? Thrilling. Spending an hour spamming chat channels for a dungeon group? Builds community. A raid so difficult only three percent of the players finished it? Awesome, if a little on the easy side.
The embittered old guard view all improvements to accessibility and casual play as poison to a game, and those that enjoy them as sniveling Xbox Live vagrants dumbing down their precious MMOs. That a shift toward the casual player has vastly improved the popularity of the MMO genre is, to them, only proof that developers have sold out to the unwashed masses, betraying their loyal players in the process.
You can almost pity them. Their once beloved genre has changed almost beyond recognition, and that would be hard for anyone. But the truly hardcore of the old school don’t simply miss the old days. They demand their return, and to Hell with all those filthy casuals infesting their games. There’s no need to compromise, no way for both groups to be happy; everyone must play their way. The irony of this is apparently lost on them.
2: Raiding is serious business:
There’s an anxious lump in your throat. Weeks of effort have led to this point. You’ve provided extensive information on your past experience. They’ve combed through your digital records. You’ve provided references. You’ve sat through multiple intensive interviews. Now, it all comes down to this: the final interview to determine whether you’ll get the position.
Are you applying for your dream job? No, you’re just trying to earn the right to fling fireballs at digital dragons.
There’s a stereotype out there that raiding in MMOs is like having a second job, and while it is often untrue, there are nonetheless a significant number of guilds out there doing everything in their power to prove the stereotype true.
It starts with a message posted in general chat. “LF mage for progression raiding.” The message directs you to a website with an application form. The form is a bit long, but you fill it out, wondering why they need to know the name and class of every guild master you’ve ever served under.
Then come the interviews. The ambush questions about your past raiding history. The interviews of your friends, your guild, and for some reason your mother. Then the boss strategy pop quizzes, the trial dungeon runs, the blood tests and criminal history checks.
Eventually, it becomes impossible to remember that you’re playing a game. By the time you finally clear the last interviews and trial runs, you’ve long since lost the ability to enjoy raiding, and all that’s left is the desperate need to prove your worthiness in this most harrowing virtual endeavor.
3: The story nut:
For a lot of MMO players, the story of a game is just a largely ignored window dressing there to provide a weak explanation for why they just killed that dragon. But there are a select few who go to the opposite extreme. Far from ignoring the story, they become obsessed with it to the point where one has to wonder if they realize it’s actually fictional.
This is another bunch of people who’ve allowed their passion to become twisted. They’re no longer really looking for a good story. They don’t want to be surprised, they don’t want drama, they don’t want suspense. They want everything to unfold exactly like it was their own fan fiction, with nothing bad ever happening to their favorite characters and factions and everything bad happening to anyone or anything they dislike.
These are the sort who will take any defeat of their favored faction as a personal insult, even if it has no impact on their gameplay whatsoever. A new twist to the plot that they dislike is not only poorly written, but blatantly offensive. They may begin to believe that the writers are simply out to get their faction/race/favorite character.
Things get craziest when two of these types with opposite viewpoints meet. The result is a brawl the likes of which has not been seen since Godzilla faced Mothra. Except instead of a giant lizard fighting a massive moth in the middle of Tokyo, it’s two geeks barking at each other over the Internet.
4: The anti-carebear:
Some people like to PvP. Some people love PvP. And some people allow PvP to consume their souls, until there is nothing left of them but a bitter shell of a person who can only measure the worth of someone by their ability to gank people as quickly and brutally as possible.
Even if they play a PvE-centric game, these people will behave as if the entire universe revolves around player versus player content. In their eyes, all PvEers are spineless carebears without the strength or the skill to play the game properly. If any feature doesn’t contribute to their ability to gank, it has no reason to exist and should be stricken from the game.
These types have long since lost any capacity for fun. Winning or losing is all that matters to them. They don’t play their class because they like it; they play it because they heard it was the most overpowered, and they’ll level a new character the moment another class can beat it. They apply the same logic to race choice. They pick their server and faction based on whatever has the highest population of skilled PvPers. Every decision they make is only to further their kill count.
Like so many kinds of people on this list, these rabid virtual gladiators have let their passion run wild until they’ve long since ceased to get any joy from it. They hate their teammates for sucking, the enemy team for not sucking, and the game for not letting them faceroll everything with a broken class. Even their victories are but a brief respite from their endless frustration.
Interesting article i would like to share.
*your thoughts)
http://www.whatmmorpg.com/articles/5-ways-people-take-mmos-too-seriously.php
“A common stereotype of gamers in general and MMO players in particular is that they take their hobby much too seriously. They treat raiding like a job, and they become more attached to imaginary avatars than real people. They lose the ability to distinguish between reality and fantasy. In most cases, this stereotype is completely untrue, and most MMO players are, in fact, perfectly ordinary people. Most, but not all. There will always be a small minority of living stereotypes who embody the worst of the way the public perceives MMO players”.
——————————————————————————————————-
5: The smalltime hero:
Elitism is, sadly, something you see a lot of in MMOs. We’ve all run into arrogant top tier raiders and PvP gods who view anyone with less than a hundred thousand kills as beneath them. But it’s understandable to run into these types when pushing through a game’s hardest challenges. Sometimes, a little bit of snobbery is required dominate the toughest content and most skilled opponents.
What’s much less understandable and much more frustrating is when that elitism makes it into the rest of the game, when people start viewing easy dungeons and simple group quests as something that can only be done by the best of the best.
Ironically, the people who give into this kind of elitism are often the least accomplished. Somehow, with no raid kills or significant player versus player wins to their name, they’ve still managed to view themselves as the pinnacle of gaming perfection, and they have no problem treating anyone who fails to meet their ideal of perfect play like something they scraped off their boot.
It doesn’t matter that the content they’re running could be facerolled by a half a dozen brain-dead lab chimps. It doesn’t matter that their own play is sloppy. It doesn’t matter that the real experts would laugh at them for taking things so seriously. In their own minds, they are the gods of gaming, and all should welcome their scathing “advice.”

http://www.eldergame.com/2010/11/how-to-balance-an-mmo-and-how-to-stop/
“Eventually I realized that balancing for “fairness” was pretty unimportant compared to balancing for “awesome”. You need to get the “fairness” thing in the right ballpark, but players will never be satisfied… however, if they’re all feeling awesome, they won’t quit over it. It’s a lot easier to make sure everybody is awesome, too, as opposed to balanced.
If you focus on making sure everybody is having fun, even though they’re not perfectly balanced, it will all be okay in the end."

The problem of stealth in MMOs
Quite Interesting article
http://spinksville.wordpress.com/2010/06/23/the-problem-of-stealth-in-mmos/
Although the writer uses diffident examples of mmo’s; they offer similar concepts regarding Stealth and its problematic to mmo’s.
Highlights “Stealth classes are usually popular in games. Being able to pick your fights is a huge advantage in PvP – the classic stealther attack of leaping out of hiding and backstabbing an opponent is fun to play (and a nightmare to balance)”

Where?
Where is it?
(edited by Burnfall.9573)
As someone had already stated, Gw2 used Gw1` name to leech money in the gaming market.
There’s no Gw1 in Gw2, quite simple.
Once again,
(corrections)
Gw1 Never gave a classs Stealth to Monopolize the class and game balance; in fact there was never a “Stealth” class.
Gw1 Never practiced Favoritism or Favored a class for the sake of Pride, Selfish Gain and Grandiosity.
Gw1 Never had server crashes and laggings on going for almost 1 year.
Gw1 Never ignored Balance mechanic for their classes.
Gw1 Never pitted classes over another class for the sake of Elitism and Pride
Gw1 devs and mods tried at their best in working with the community. concerns.
Someone had told me that there are still remaining Gw1 devs, designers and mods in Gw2; so i responded, “where”?
I joked; if they’re here, they must’ve been psychological “brainwashed” by an Elitist and Selfish Organization because that’s what this game; Gw2 is all about.
-Playing Favorite/Favoritism for the Elitist classes and a designing Monopolize Stealth Thief class to Rule above others in all stats.
-Advocating, Defending and Justifying Elitist classes who who abuses and use cheating methods.
And if your class doesn’t fall in that category, than it it will be Prone to more nerfs.

This game lean toward Favoritism and Elitism; especially to their Special Favorite Class; Stealth thief.

Intentionally Creating a Super Class; Stealth Thief to Monopolize the core balance of the classes and the game.
Showing Favoritism of Elitism of Classes
Not standing up for the lesser classes.
Defending Elitism and Punishing anyone who “Dare” complain or question them.
Not showing enthusiastic interest in communicating with the community.
Rewarding the Elitist classes for bad behaviors and Punishing the lesser ones for standing up to them.

This thread is Deceptive “GW 2 #1 mmo of 2013”
Reason is because the 2013 year hasn’t ended so why declare it final than?
I know OP it’s not your statistic but please bear in mind that those so called ‘game of the year’ is a premature declaration on those specific websites.
They are False Deceptive Marketing Advertisers Campaign
I leave 2 question;
1st; who are the ones behind those ‘False Deceptive Marketing Advertisers Campaigns? You’ll be amused because many of them are paid ‘underneath the table’ to get that 1st spot.
Did you know that Microsoft was caught ‘red handed’ paying Marketer Advertisers money to declare that Xbox One was a better console than Ps4?
2nd; Where are they getting their statistic numbers from? I leave that up to you to decide.
I’m not accusing Arenanet for doing so
But I encourage you next time of doing more research before ‘jumping the ship’.
In other word-
If you see someone claim to have the Number 1 for example, look for supporting evidence.
The ones that can support their claims often have independent data clearly published on their website and the data can be verified.
