Complainnig when the patch isn’t even out..“Warriors outshine us 100% Completely”..How can you even say this ? ALso,that means that in the past You outshined warriors 100% ? Well..deal with it.

If you honestly cannot deal with class balances,fixes and game updates…Then the game is not for you.But still,what’s the point in trying to get people to feel the same way as you ? Also my servers population is not decreasing,at all,unless you have any numbers to back this up or play on all servers,you have no clue.

How are dungeons "falling"when a certain dungeon is just prefered more over the other ?,it’s the same in Every mmo..

Movement impairing conditions,so it doesn’t even apply to all conditions,just cripple,slow etc.Anyway,i do understand you,but i think they should take a look at All nourishments,since i do think some are just a bit op with the right traits.You also know of the nourishment that does 40% Chance to cause chill on crit at night? Thinks like that…should be removed from wvwv imo.

So in the SToG it was said that treb shots are going to no longer be blocked by Sanc/SW ect. I will cut right to the chase, this being removed is terrible for the game. Why? because it takes away counterplay in WvW and makes it harder to defend/attack certain objectives in the game.

It also makes it impossible to defend against the exploit trebs used at Borderland Garrisons, and only possible to go and wipe them out which is very diffcult to accomplish.

I would like the reasoning behind why counterplay like this would be taken away, thank you.

This is a good thing imo.No more waiting around and trying to swirl shots.Now you need to go out and make an actual wipe,i like it.

Hello my current system doesn’t run the game too well so I’m looking at getting a desktop to run the game on high settings

I don’t want to spend too much, and want to get something that I can possibly upgrade

I don’t know too much about computers tbh and am not interested in building one as I’d much rather finance a ready made one.

You would be much better off with going to a Pc store where you can buy your own parts.Get some advice and let them put it together,you WIll save money,you Will have better hardware components,and when something breaks or you want it replace it,you dont have to spend a ton of money on “Brand” parts.I would never..ever..ever recommend someone to buy a all in one , Dell/Hp or whatever.

No. Im aware that sli/crossfire is mostly crap (gets much better now days though) but this is just bad, very poor optimization. Anyone else noticed that each time there’s a new nvidia driver it never improved performance of gw2 (in driver notes)? Nvidia themselves said its on anet’s end…

Sli is Not crap in Anyway,neither is crossfire.You know this if you ever actually Had an sli or crossfire system.Ive had my very first Multi Gpu system,with 2 “Voodoo 2” cards back in 99´.Since 2005 ive Always had SLI starting with the 8600gts.Back then..there were some problems with sli,like flickering shadows bad gpu optimizations,bad support for alot of games.But saying that sli or crossfire these days are crap,is an ignorant statement.SLI has always doubled my fps in most occasions,an will for everyone else with the proper hardware set up.If i start up Gw2 now with using 1 card,my fps is about 35 – 45% Lower then when using SLI.

As for the rest,we can definetely use a 64bit client,basic DX11 support for better hardware optimizations ( not talking about tesselation etc,since that wont happen anyway ).And i honestly think we could use a slider for the particle effects showing on screen,it creates a huge lagstorm for alot of people with low/mid end hardware,eventhough theyre already playing on the lowest settings possible.They should be possible to control the particle effects to some extent.

That would be a bad idea though honestly..Alot of commanders get donations from people.Since commanding can be quite expensive,some people throw sieges on the ground for commanders to pick up,more then sending gold.If this option gets removed,certain people will command much less.

Asking me if i’ve ever played WvW is like asking anyone else if they take air into their lungs.

Having fought against some of the best skirmish guilds in the game and gone up against double and triple numbers with heavy mesmer numbers I can assure you that countering confusion is so very easy.

I know it’s easy,but you have to look at the majority of players,not the handfull of people that Know how to deal with it.I was just asking if you play wvwvw,since you know what a pain confusion when be when your standing in the middle of zergs,aoe rings everywhere and having to deal with confusion aswell..Wich will cut 50% or more of your hp.It’s also not about the fact that it is counterable..the same counted for quickness..you just had to evade the player for a few sec,yet it still got balanced.You have to look at the dmg it does,wich was just too much no matter if it’;s counterable,because everything basically is.Think it;s also about the fact that they want fights to last longer..hence the quickness balancing,aoe cap,confusion balance etc.Its all for the better in the end.

It is overpowered,if you ever play wvwvw you should know it is…just as quickness was overpowered and reduced with 50%…I can understand you not liking your class being touched,but you have to stay realistic and deal with it.

You will not get magically higher fps just by adding 4gb.Your loading times may “decrease”,might get less stuttering..That’s about it.

The game needs it badly but instead we get new ridiculously priced items (with juicy RNG) in gem store. Look at Skyrim for example, not only the game looks significantly better (modded of course) but in same amount of time they’ve achieved ~double frame rate. Time to optimize gw2, this is not a looker like Crysis 3 and should run waaay better than it is.

You comparing a Singleplayer game with a B2p based model mmo is enough to just stop it right there…Also,they havent done any optimizations ? Read the patch logs again.

And for saying Guild wars 2 is not Crysis 3 so it should run wayyy better…just shows you don;t have a clue what you’re even talking about.

You cannot compare an MMO with a singleplayer game…it works entirely different.

Most of the people run unoptimized systems,have no clue about the pc their using and why their getting low fps with a system that should do better,but Everyone is able to blame it all on Anet……

Dont remember it…It’s being stored on your pc somewhere.You do not want someone to find it.Just remember your password and put it in manually each time to be safe.

Have you even tried deleting the Local.dat File ?

Located in “C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Guild Wars 2”

Also i see no mention whatsoever about anyone even having bothered to try and repair their clients,you’re all jumping through hoops and forget the 2 most important things.

Deleting Local.Dat and repairing client by adding a -Repair commandline parameter behind the Gw2 Shortcut.

Also have a look in C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp , And delete the Entire Gw2cache folder.Preferably before repairing the client.

Wich cpu did he had,and to wich cpu did he upgrade ?
Did he build in the cpu himself ,or did the store where he bought it from did ?
Did he reinstalled his drivers ( Especially Mobo ) afterwards ?
How are the cpu temps when idling/under stress ?
How is his current mobo/bios setting doing with his current cpu,Anything changed from the previous one ? ( Bios settings should be set to Factory settings when you install a new cpu )
Does the lag happen everywhere,on every map or isolated to pvp/wvwvw ?

And list the rest of his specs aswell.

Set it to windowed Fullscreen Tenclub,so the gamma/contrast/brightness will be used from your desktop settings instead.So after switching to windowed fullscreen you might want to re-adjust your desktop gamma aswell,from within Nvcpl or Windows calibration tool.

Yeah just uninstall that update immediatly and you’re fine again.

Any loss of signal showing from your monitor ? Check your cables, ( also for defects ) and check if your GPU is seated correctly,otherwise pull it and reseat it correctly ( do not put to much pressure ).

Try reinstalling drivers,updating DirectX and also..supply some Pc specs here….

I understand the reasons behind combat mode,it’s just that it’s a tad to slow.IMO the combat mode speed should be raised by about 10 – 20%.

Also how does the combat mode work exactly,is it based on a timer ? or on the area you’ve just been fighting in ? ..or a combination of both ?.Because at times i just can;t seem to get out of combat mode eventhough i haven’t been in combat for the past 30 seconds ( also applies to wvwvw ).

Hi im new to mmorpgs and gw2 itself. The game is fun and great but it feels like no one playing this game anymore and the world seems so empty. Wben I try some of the world event quest, it feels bit hard for soloing the quest cuz it seems like it is structured to be accomplished with big big gruop. Hope you picked a server with High population.But anyway the starter zones are pretty empty that’s true.But someone is always there usually doing their own thing.Use the Mapchat to find out if there’s anyone on the map,also start looking for a guild so you can lvl together.

Guys, is almost year, and you still didn’t fix main bugs. Main bugs are: LFG, time by time you can’t player in same dungeons; you get disconnect when you trying to login and dungeons disconnection, when you trying to enter to dungeon, , AC dungeons npcs have bugs. Really this game game have free to play quality. Even other games have better quality than this one.

LFG is not an bug,its an option thats just not available ingame,besides you got gw2lfg for that as of now..
Also i do not get disconnected when trying to login and Dungeons also do not disconnect me.

Why should emotes have been in the game from day one? Because you want them? What percentage of the playbase even uses or cares about emotes. I’m guessing not a big percentage.

When a small group of people require an investment in time and energy of the devs, let them pay for the time. It’s not like the game has a monthly fee.

Lotro sells tons of emote packs and that’s a game known for it’s roleplayers. Emotes in the cash shop are fair game. You could hardly call it pay to win.

Can be heat…check your temps under full load when playing GW2 with HWmonitor.

Also disable the option for windows to shut down automatically,so you will most likely get an bsod instead and can see the error.

GW2 must suck because it has a bad storyline according to many people. Personally I dont find the storyline to be bad, just too short.

I’m pretty sure everyone only uses Tier 3 gear as “skins”, especially the armor. Any exotic will have better stats, and will cost a LOT less on the trading post.

Anet, please consider either:
1. Buffing Tier 3 gear to be on the level of Exotic gear.
2. Reducing the cost of Tier 3 gear, because it’s frankly not that good stat-wise.

Its about the Skin,it’s meant this way.Theyre the most expensive armor’s to get for each race,they’re supposed to be unique but not about stats.The price should stay as it is.I;m in no means a farmer,grinder,i worked towards it slowly.You do not need to get everything in a week.

Hahah,that’s the same in Far Cry 3,there are these Caves that had puddles of water in them,but instead of reflecting the Cave it was reflecting trees and clouds and such.

I don’t mean it like that,i just mean Gw2 is Very cpu intensive and this counts for all systems inluding mine.I just don’t know if you have oc’d yor cpu yet,i think if doing so it will give you a huge boost in performance,as it does with my system.And the SLI was just a suggestion to see if it offers that boost i’m talking about.Guild wars 2 is just heavy on the system,no matter if you can play crysis 3 maxed out.

Adding an ingame command to check our current MS,to figure out when it’s happening most,if it’s random or only in huge fights or constant for some people.I think it can be really helpfull in alot of cases to narrow down if it’s the server that’s lagging or the client.

The only thing that I see that is remarkable about your system is the SLI system, the rest of it is pretty standard high end gaming PC stuff.

Perhaps others can chime in on their system specs?

Yeah…that’s just it,your System is making you drop.Its not anet,and im betting it isn’t your drivers aswell.Might want to Oc’ your cpu,or borrow the same gpu from someone and see what SLI does to your system.

I like Realistic looking armor,dirty,scratched,old steel.Im disliking flamey types of armor,glowing armor,sparkling armor,armor with huge spikes etc.
