Could the mini be made into a hungry cat like the broom-summoned one? (It’s not hungry at the moment.)
The mini is just a mini. They won’t have special interactions that NPCs have.
No official word yet, no. The last couple of years saw the festival end after around two weeks. This coming Tuesday will be the two week mark. So, if you’ve had your eye on something at the Halloween vendors, it might be a good idea to go ahead and get it before Tuesday. It might not end until later next week or even the week after, but yeah. Better safe than sorry.
Is it sitting in an invisible bag/box by any chance?
Well, this what happen, I did the transmutation and all it did was swap my new weapon with the old weapon, the skin is still on the old weapon.
I can click on the hero panal and shows nothing in the category for skins, but I go to the tailoring station and I click on the wardrobe and is all there, I click on the skin and the only option is preview. Oh nuts, Ginny
You can’t apply skins from the bank wardrobe. You have to do it from the Hero Panel.
Press H to pull up the Hero Panel. Make sure you’re on the Equipment tab, and then click on Wardrobe (right above the Dyes option). From there, click on the weapon you want to change the skin for; make sure you’re using the same weapon type as the weapon with the skin you want to use (scepter skins only work for scepters, swords for swords, etc.).
Clicking on the weapon will show any of your unlocked skins for that weapon type. Find the skin you want to use, and click on it. Once you click on the skin, the right side of the Hero panel will say “These changes will cost 1 transmutation charge” and have Apply and Reset buttons beneath those words. If you have transmutation charges (your amount of charges will be displayed above the "These changes . . . " message), then all you have to do is click on Apply to make the change.

As was noted above, the cultural t3 sets are very expensive. They also are only rare quality (so, not as good as Ascended or Exotic). If you’re only wanting the set for the skin, then just wait until you’re 80 and have gold to spend on the set.
For PvE: Giant Slayer
I’m willing to accept that as the hardest PvE achievement, but I’ve been under the impression that something like Weapon Master: Shield, or Weapon Master: Focus would be more difficult.
Are there good ways to cheese those two, cause they’re taking me forever.Ambient critters count for those achievements, so you can cheese it just by hanging around areas where lots of them spawn.
Unfortunately, even in an ambient-rich area, it’s still very tedious and even difficult to get kills with shield and focus skills only.

The Norn t3 heavy isn’t Jora’s armor. It has similar features, but it’s definitely not the same skin overall. I don’t think there’s any set in the game that looks completely like her armor.
I noticed the same thing when I’ve been in the labyrinth the past couple of days, as well.
Well, the wiki page on Stealth says the following:
“Abilities that do not deal direct damage (like Caltrops, or the Traps which do not deal direct damage) will not break stealth, even though they apply damaging conditions.”
So, traps that are just applying conditions but don’t do damage directly wouldn’t break stealth.
This is how I found out how.

The elite specs can only be used in the very bottom slot. Make sure you’re not trying to put it in one of the other ones.
As far as I know, there isn’t any such list of everything you bought.
Why did they even write they fixed the first time and daily reward, if it remains unchanged?
Probably because some people weren’t getting any rewards upon completion of the JP.
Is your in-game mailbox full? Replacement items are usually sent via the in-game mail, and so you might need to make sure it’s not full.
If you’ve spent $1200 on the game just for two items (metabolic booster and repair contract [where repairs are free]), and there are more like you, then ArenaNet probably already has a good thing going, as is.

To be fair, there has only been ONE change made purely for the needs of PvE in the entire history of GW2, and that was the FGS nerf.
Every single other balance pass has been based on PvP or WvW.

The mini drops from Trick or Treat bags…and it is extremely rare…only a few have been lucky enough to get them. RNG strikes again!

If you’ve been able to justify spending “$600” on primers thus far, you’re not THAT poor. :p And you can ask for things all you want. But people are allowed to tell you if they think it’s a good idea or a bad idea, too.

On a related note does anyone know how to find the Revenant cat? I was following the instructions on the Wiki but I looked all around the tower where it’s supposed to appear and I couldn’t see it.
Do I have to do all the other profession ones first or something?
I did the revenant one before doing the guardian or thief one. The cat showed up fine for me. He’s kind of hidden in a corner, though, once you go up the first flight of stairs.
Yes, you have to have successfully fed another hungry cat before you can feed the Feline Familiar.
I believe the Ascent to Madness reward is only once per day. Multiple runs per day will just get you some candy.

Newly-obtained ones can be. The ones that dropped before the fix are still account bound.
I havent gotten any weapons from the regular ToT bags, but they were dropping like candy from the personalized ones I got from ATM farming.
Yeah, pretty much everyone I know was getting lots of weapons from the personalized bags yesterday. They patched a loot table bug with those bags yesterday/last night, though, so they’re probably dropping a good bit less now.
What cat is everyone talking about?
The Horror was really easy last year (and pretty easy the year before that). Lich was, indeed, nerfed a bit, but I have no complaints about it.
I just realized that I didn’t get a chest, either. Weird.
You can’t progress the old achievement, as far as I know. Have you checked the new achievement to see if it’s updating properly?
:) All three of those come and go throughout the year. I know they’ve all been in for special sales semi-recently, too. So, just try to keep an eye on the gem store for new/old things to show up. Tuesday is “gem store day”, so at the very least check on Tuesdays when you can.
Naming them would actually help because then we could say whether or not they’re on the typical seasonal rotations. Anet usually has a group of items (including armor skins, outfits, and weapon skins) on sale for the spring and summer (give or take a month) and then swaps them out for other items (ones not available during the spring/summer set) for the fall and winter. There are also items that typically only go on sale during certain holidays (Halloween-themed ones for Halloween, Wintersday for Wintersday, Lunar New Year themed items, SAB items, etc.). And then there are the special sales (GW2 anniversary sale and, if I recall correctly, a sale around the new year) where anything can be brought back or have its current price reduced for a short period of time.
It should be noted that you have to go to a Trading Post npc (indicated on the map by a set of scales icon) to pick up any gold or items from the trading post; it won’t be mailed back to you or auto-deposited.
Just asking, is Foundry and Mallyx 7 heroable now?
The last time I played around in there DoA solo was doable but pretty difficult. The main thing is just making sure you have all of the right heroes with all of the right builds (and patience).
Before Rytlock disappeared into the mists, he wielded a pistol and sword as a warrior. So, yup. NPCs can just do things we can’t. No bug, though.
As was said above, aquabreathers can’t be put in the forge to get new stats.
That can happen if you get a little trigger-happy on your clicking, too. If you don’t wait for the sell page to fully load, you can/will end up selling it for 2c (give or take a few coppers) if you end up clicking Sell before it’s done loading.
I think in the case of the Plague Signet, it’s supposed to unlock it across the account. But it might require the character to play through that story step, at least. I’m not fully sure, though. But yeah, the other one is definitely a character unlock.
Oh some people are way ahead of you. Here’s a charr pretending to be a hylek. I took this screenshot back in January and they’d been working on the idea for some time apparently.

Have you done the respective requirements to unlock them at the vendor? For the Plague Signet, you have to complete all six Tangled Paths (living story season 2 chapter) achievements. For Verata’s Seared Ring, you have to complete Seeds of Truth (another LS2 chapter) on that character.

If they have a misleading name, report them for inappropriate character name.
If they are pretending to be a GM, report them for scamming.

There is always a Halloween event. Most likely, it’ll start on the 18th (if not then, then the 25th).
I’ve always had great interactions with support, as well. The support team rocks.
There’s also generally impromptu games and parties, and last year the devs came in for a while in LA to turn players into things we can’t normally be (like skinny black cats in witch hats!). They announced the time frame for that on these forums, so keep an eye out.
No fair. I missed out on that last year. Granted, I missed out because I went to Disney World, but still!

Unfortunately, there’s no real way to track when the Orr temples will go to their defense events or when the taking events will start. Your best bet to catch a temple as it’s just starting to be taken is to hop into the map right after a patch; all temples will be contested because of the patch, which means they’ll be ready to start. You could also try keeping an eye on the LFG, just in case.
You should also keep an eye out for when one of the dailies is Cursed Shore/Malchor’s Leap/Straits of Devastation event completer. More instances of the map than usual will be opening when it’s hosting one of the dailies.
