“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
To practice for and to test how we like the destruction of maps.
They should add 8-slot bags for higher champs. Collectable with different icons on them.
For extreme consistency!
Otherwise I feel the suggestion(s) about promoting the bags are too … rewarding. My solution would be, they simply don’t drop for a character of level XYZ+.
puts up sign
“DO NOT approach test subject. Studies on self-feeding Megalomania underway.”
I was doing the train a lot until recently. Now, I do world bosses instead:
5:15 – Maw, 5:30 – Ugloth, 5:45 – Fire Ele, Dinner, 6:45 – Shadow B
Then I level other characters. I agree that the arguing about the rotation for QD Train is getting a bit old.
What does Dinner drop???
So, let’s assume for a second that both parties are right, in their desire to play the way they want.
How about, just a thought, utilizing the “megaserver” technology here. The first priority for this map would be the character level. Softly separate the genuine “low” level (/new) players from the lvl 80 train.
Kinks to be ironed out of course.
This is most likely directly linked to the “hidden” account luck that determines all drops and mystic forge results.
Empirical studies will be necessary to get to the bottom of this. For science!
The only thing I would like to add is – try out all the weapons available for your profession and play around with combinations, switching weapons during the fights.
Copycat.
I haz the copyright.
What top is that? I’m guessing it’s a gem store thing.
That’s the Bloody Prince outfit. Currently again in the gem store for another few days.
Nicely done
#messagelenghtener
I think we should start thinking in outfits and skins.
And skinny outfits, but I’m getting ahead of myself.
I sort of think the whole notion stems from the system of those “other” games. Placing an order cost gold (%), same as here, but the offers expired. Many of us might thus be able to sympathize with the person who got undercut because we ourself had to list the item again after finally having a lucky drop worth listing.
So don’t worry about the person who was undercut, he will sell his product as well. For a copper more.
Guild Wars 2
For a fistful of copper
Edit: And in local news, Wanze is dealing in dust. Saviour or menace of rubble? Stay tuned.
I voted for the “Mist” option, but there could be different designated arenas for this – think about the bane.
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/The_Bane
I would see this as an opportunity for roleplay as well.
Golem? Puhleez. Well producted anti-armor cannon shell, loaded to ’120 caliber cannon. Suck on it, midgets.
I see your cannon and raise you ingenuitive PPP’s (portable personal portals) totally negating your projectiles (for the small price of 8 copper per use), grabbing the gunner for a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker.
I sort of liked that they blended the idea of the “our time is now” trailer into it – but what really struck me at that point was – they couldn’t (or didn’t) make the norn character look asian …
Just a little detail.
And if the norn was armed with just his fists while the charr had a tank with it’s gun pointed directly at the norns head, the charr would probably win as well. ………. but why? :P
I can imagine the shark-like grin of that asura, towering over both norn and charr in his golem. “Rocketfist, activate.”
corrected typooos, note to self, don’t start thinking under two coffee
(edited by Rouven.7409)
Mhh, now I’m not the big TP mogul here, I use it rather rarely actually, but often when I place my valuable merchandise I add a copper or two. How do you know which offer was there first?
Gameplay: If you don’t enjoy it, you shouldn’t be here.
Someone should make a poster out of this.
The casual observer might notice at this point the already hightened tension extruding from these unquestionable energetic balls of fur. Who can blame them? I do not, but we have to pro- pffffff … “augh, they got me, run brothers an..” … fshhhhhhp
Honestly, when I go shopping and I notice it cost a hundred dollar more, I don’t care how much the butter went up or if there is an inflation going on in the country.
I know, I’m such a simpleton. But I will use my new knowledge to talk to the cashier about the high inflatuation.
Contraire to the shopping I do have the option to not care (to various degrees), I’m just not sure if that is a good thing.
Dear Sir I promise you this is no jesteable matter! Gravely serious indeed. I’ve seen countless of little cute balloons, full of life, burst violently into nothingness because of the seemingly oh-so playful touch of a kitten. They are not rolling anywhere anymore.
Equal safe rights is what we are looking for, not over-inflated regulations.
As a member of the pro-balloon-safety non-profit society, safety for balloons is my number one priority. If you would like your children and the children of your children to be able to enjoy balloons you will have to agree that there need to be strings attached. However in regards to kittens this is a very touchy subject. De-clawed? Maybe, otherwise we advise caution and a longer string.
One could of course assume that we would deal with much less undead now, seeing as Zhaitan is defeated and we haven’t really fought much undead in the Living Story.
Oh of course, but one could also look a bit further and see that those themes are not limited to a living story or story aspect in general. Think artwork, outfits, etc.
Let’s just hope that the chinese publisher will be able to do the localisation on his own in the future. Otherwise one might think that definitely certain content will be out of the question (in terms of being … more complicated), like the aforementioned un-dead theme, in the future.
Rumor has it that you can get there if you jump into the exact center of the Mystic Forge.
Oh, Zommoros is behind all this … the plot thickens. I’ll wear a top hat and monocle then … jump, jump, jump.
Where is this mint again? Thinking of checking it out.
I do silversmithing in RL. Believe me, either we are using tiny little ingots, or we are absolutely horrid jewelers if it takes multiple ingots to make a single ring.
Ok, but can you smelt an ingot or forge (would that be the correct term?) a ring in … what … 3 seconds?
The in-game currency should be re-named and split up into the appropriate ‘regions’ complete with varying exchange rates. I’d suggest the
Charrity Crown
Krytan Collar
Sylvarian Chilling
Asura Dinar
Norn Franc
That way there is no misconception about gold being gold and so on
I’d retire to southsun beach and have some karkarhinias.
Oh, sorry, I misunderstood it as a “what if” question.
All the potential clipping issues etc aside could be a fun idea, but too complicated with the different weights. Everyone should be able to carry everyone else.

Just if some people like to browse.

Don’t have a main, just have fun.
Aye. There is one character that I like to think of as my “avatar” but otherwise, especially with some of the recent changes I don’t see much need for an actual “main” anymore (for myself, I’m most likely missing something).
Blackberry Salad.
Why? Simple, he is your firstborn. Salad is healthy. Blackberry Salad sounds delicious on top of that! You already finetuned him (aka “transformations”). You haz pets.
Happy to help!
Why do you have two guardians?
I would be interested if fishing could get you certain types of fish that you could use in cooking for some extra special foods with qualities you might not get in regular foodstuffs.
I was more thinking in terms of purely cosmetic non-angel-to-win items … like an artificing recipe … tonic of the mermaid, or the tailor outfit recipe “sharknado” (drop, sorry, fish chances for shark teeth are really low though).
Now see, I didn’t think asking for his account details was appropriate.
I’m sure he is not using the unique password anywhere else, right?
Could change if beforehand … don’t need to have the game installed for that. But I see what you mean, then he would lose control over the forum account as well … let’s not tell him and we’ll do 50/50.
Dear OP, there is no need for you to re-install the game, please PM me your account name and login and I will take care of this for you. Don’t mind the vultures, they only want your stuff. I care about your stuff.
Edit: On topic, they should remove WvW, PvE, JP’s, POI’s and hearts from world completion! Alternatively let me pay a scout some gold to retrieve the information for me.
(edited by Rouven.7409)
Fishing, Quaggans, Taxidermy … I see a pattern there.
Now, if someone would have said waterski … but bobsledding?
[Suggestion] Add angling to the game.
;)
I’m in favour of fishing. But we only got “pvp” activities so far, I’m not holding my virtual breath.
It could just be that someone at Anet likes that word and wanted to use it. Or am I the only one who names characters that way?
They are professionals!
This is torture.
I can’t stand this!
Must find the joke.
I think there should be enough room to change the drop down menu into 4 icons.
Save the mice, one less click a day!
I’ve been mainly storing some runes and sigils as well as weapon drops for the mystic forge in the guild vault. Other than that you could look into guild weapons and armour (politics line).
As you said, it’s an outfit. Meaning all of those do not come as individual parts. You can hide the helm and gloves, but otherwise you cannot customize the outfit.
As for dyes I haven’t tried that yet but should be possible.
Quivers before more wings.
Well Jimmy me a bull, by golly gosh. What’s with all them quivers? Give that scallywag a scabbard for his rifle. A good ol’ scabbard to … umm … put on your back I say.
I just realized I’m the boss of Sony, Apple, Chevrolet, Braun and Black&Decker just to mention a few. I think I’m going to retire.
Edit: On topic, I’m more looking towards the “scavenger hunt” or whatever it will be dubbed, but a new set of legendaries (even if I don’t have one) will also be nice.
(edited by Rouven.7409)
Howdy folks. I reckon we have to acknowledge the corn. Gents there ain’t enough hair cases in this little venture. I’d like me a fine John B.. Yeeehaww, let’s have a hog-killin time!
A plush griffin should soak up all the water and drown to the bottom. Why not “cast” a magic bubble around them that they float in behind you? Apart from the necessary work in the animation department that would be “immersive”
ya just buy your way to lvl80 or dungeon switch alt like so many *. I honestly hope Anet would do something about people dungeon switching at the end of the run.
What is it with people wanting to change thing that dont affect them in the least?????
You don’t like switching, then don’t switch…
yBut I think majority of the people are just farmers, weather that is legendary, or farming eotm, or fractal skin farmers.
Honestly just look at what people is doing in eotm. If there is any confrontation, people either port back and walk the other way so they can continue their farm, there isn’t even much fighting.
Well if you put it that way, everything in the game outside of rp is farming. >.>
again, how does people doing this affect you?(btw, I’m actually not all that interested in fractal skins/drops. I just like the idea of being able content that few do.)
So why complain. You are just farming level instead of whatever you are farming at lvl80.
ok…lets put it this way
farming hearts may be fun to you, it isnt to me. I want to do fractals/dungeons and WvW.
You can call everything farming, doesn’t mean the method of farming is the same.Is it so wrong for people to not enjoy leveling, but do enjoy the rest of the game, and just want to do that part of the game?
You mean Anet being a **** by forcing people to swing a sword 1 million time before they can enjoy their self?
Welcome to mmorpg my friend.
you make it sound like it’s ok and something should just deal with rather than complain about and hope gets improved in some way.
No I’m saying it’s pitful to complain. Because mmorpg company purposely make games grindy so people will play longer.
Honest question, was this irony? Like they literally said you are not supposed to have to swing your sword one million times before getting to the fun stuff. Which in that context was like big world bosses and such. I don’t understand (never did) why dungeons only start at lvl 30.
Now I have not leveled another character but I can indeed imagine that gaining a level might be very … dull for a long time. Unless it’s your first character or your first of a certain race there is nothing new to unlock in terms of skins for example – you are not looking forward to lvl X to equip gear Y. There is no “trait” point to “waste” – something I liked.
Anyways, that “I made it” feeling when reaching max level was never there for me – but exactly because I felt that leveling was such a breeze. The only frustrating part I encountered at the beginning was map completion in some parts of Orr because of all the contested waypoints.
Do you mean skill points? You get those at skill challenges and for leveling up.
