The tribal stuff will appear at some point, adding the old pvp skins are probably not prioritized since newer/shinier stuff are more important (I think most people would agree that adding them as a simple PvP reward track should be way that would satisfy the ones that don’t have it and the ones who already got it)
All the gem store skins like the Toxic Gloves come and go in the gem store, probably part of a marketing strategy (buy now! limited time!), they will show up there again, and if I recall it was not that long ago they were there
That sounds really, really weird… I can’t understand his motivation to lure teammates to die except for being a kitten. They were 2v1 against you and he said it was a fair 1v1?
Are you sure there is no more backstory to this? It sounds so strange
Because of clipping issues, really bad clipping issues. They have had people even using their free time to get capes implemented
Today for once, GH was really active, which is really rare outside of primetime, and had people online, we had a few roamers upgrading stuff, sweating our kitten off since it all gets capped when GH sleeps and goes to work. Usually I don’t feel like even trying to upgrade since when you have thrown your money and time there, some Drakkar lake pops in to flip it while we have like 3 guys on the map.
Everyone trying to pvdoor anything except the south towers today were repelled and our roamers constantly vanquished both am and vizunah groups who failed to do any impression except when outnumbering you 3v1. I sat for hours hungry because of the constant pressure of groups trying to capture stuff while we only had a few people.
During primetime Viz had their zerg there, but never managed to capture anything else but bloodlust, camps and south towers.
I have hard to believe you have been chased all the way from north camp, i only remember killing your party both in north camp and in vale – where you killed the npcs and the 1-2 guys there – before we got there with a few guys with to even numbers out.
And if you want to spend your time with an escape button when you are about to die so you can feed your superiority complex feeling invincible, then do do like the poster above me said. The thing about defending is you can’t let some troll cap stuff and kill dolyacks and run away because 99% of times he is back.
Oh wow, they are creating another Combat Healer title for themselves
Are you supposed to see enemy tags through walls like that at 8:33 and forward?
April thing bug.
Ah good, I was drinking for a week and missed that
Are you supposed to see enemy tags through walls like that at 8:33 and forward?
If you click on a target/have a target selected, there should appear a red line under each skill on your bar that is out of range

Some of them were really nice, but many very bad too
i sure did enjoy the video, especially all the DL stomps
see you on the battlefield!
yeah i know the feeling, my memory isn’t that great either, this just got stuck in my mind
ok so it went like this: 2 drakkar guards trying to cap quarry → i run in → hold it as long as i can → everything ending up on cooldowns eventually → 1k incoming burning damage nullyfying my heals → an asura mesmer shows up stealthing me and buys me enough time heal up and get stuff off of cooldown → we kill the drakkar lake guys → asura mesmer apologizes for stealthing me
think it was you but even if it wasn’t, GO GUNNARS HOLD and keep killing the drakkar lakes, i enjoyed every moment of watching the video
Rapid fire was never buffed, it was made easier to dodge. Power ranger is still the easiest build to kill in 99% of cases, unless you rely on turrets doing the work for you since a LB ranger is not forced to follow you through them
I think you saved my butt on sunday when I was holding quarry against 2 drakkar guardians, if it was you, then your stealth timing was perfect 5/5
Long time player, first time poster.
It would help your build if you drop Healing Breeze, the scale off of healing is pitiful to say the least. The support that it gives your party is pretty minimal. Shelter would serve you better, to help keep you up (helping your party stay up).
I must say that build of yours is looking fantastic, I have been trying out exuberance runes on my other guard and they do wonders – he is one of the guards just going for power and ignoring precision except for intelligence sigils with a normal 0/0/6/4/4 – build (starts grinding money for another set of exuberance runes), and I agree with you on the part that healing breeze does not scale well with healing power, which is a fact, but healing breeze is one of the most underrated skills in the game, and since (i assume) we are talking about a support guardian role instead of a DPS-one, I don’t to understand why a supportive heal skill that heals your friends for ~6500 untraited (?) is bad choice? I LOVE SHELTER, I USE IT 99% of the time, but since you would be running a supportbuild where you would anyways be the guy non-focused/dying last, why concentrate on yourself when even a 1k heal can give your friend enough time to get a skill off-cooldown (with healing breeze in theory if all 4 allies would be targeted we are talking about untraited 1,3k heal/pulse which could end up with 26k health restored on a 40 sec cooldown – yes you sacrifice your own survivability so allies stay longer alive), while shelter only focuses on yourself, one would already be running Altruistic Healing for that
srry if this is badly written
craft ascended berserker, it has use in all pve, it is a good investment
craft different exotic soldier sets for wvw, with different runes and use an outfit on the char
I have been drinking for a few days now, but w8 for it…
wait….
Sigil(s) that proc burning on crits or weaponswaps
and¨
torch #4 would burn conditions
and pretty much what everyone said earlier in this thread, especially all shield buffs
I’ve got 2 now, first one was a human and the second one made me discover the male norn autoattack animation on 1h sword :D
Apparently this player spent 200g on listing a Legendary for 2,000g (most likely undercutting others already listed). More people posted up the same Legendary at a cheaper price than his, thus his won’t sell. Now he wants the ability to change his original price without penalty or fee so that he can undercut those that undercut him.
Yes, it is as silly as it sounds.
I’m a bit confused, why is it silly for a salesman to rearrange his pricing and offer his goods for the same/a lower price as his competitors?
He has already lost the 200g and would lose additional money by taking it away from his possible profit?
Looking at your build and you opt for solider’s gear which is typically good but after looking at your build, how do you deal with condi’s ? You purge 3 condi’s on VoR but thats all I really c. Also how do you use shelter in a havoc group scenario? More curious about this one
I always keep SYG and Hold the Line and swap the third utility between Purging Flames, Sanctuary (it is really nice now to get allies up from downed state since it basically removes all stability stacks from enemies) and WoR just before the fight depending on what enemy is coming up against us. Checking classes and foods easily tells you if there’s gonna be a lot of crits or conditions.
I use Shelter only when I play alone (and haven’t bothered to swap to a more solo-orientated build)
How does this happen so often to some ppl. I can’t remember being even once immobilized in the air.
Some Leap skills don’t provide evasion
Hmm I have seen this and I thought only the players stayed invulnerable while the siege itself is vulnerable as normal
Lately I have been trying out a build that would focus on keeping my friends protection and retaliation up constantly instead of purely going with healing. Healing Breeze and Tome of Courage do a wonderful job even with low healing power.
The protection focused rune can be swapped to Grove, Water or Travelers depending if you want to lengthen the uptime of other boons instead of just protection.
In that case the Traveler runes and meditations are almost a must if you don’t pick up the Staff or Retreat, if you for shouts you can think about Hoelbrak runes
What is the goal of your build? Roaming? Small scale support? Big group fights?
I’ve always feared good Necromancers (no not the ones that one can just facetank with a hammer), how do I do that “drain” thing?
D: Trolling me?
Did you mean: shooting with your longbow from the front against a Revenant wielding a hammer that gives him access to a reflective wall on a short duration
So if your only plan is to shoot at him with your longbow then yes, you die, but luckily Ranger has access to many other weapons, skills and builds too.
Don’t lose hope though, just remember all the numerous Guild Hall-threads and the naysayers from them that confidently declared no Guild Halls will come
Roaming with condiranger → be bored → equip longbow → pew pew and make it look really clumsy while doing some ridiculously low amount of damage → people still assume you are squishy longbow ranger → watch people use gapclosers & dodges→ start applying conditions → have people ignore your +condition duration foods and the conditions you applied on them before it’s getting too late
Smarter players of course don’t fall for it or realise what is happening after a really short time
You can look through pictures in this thread:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/professions/guardian/Post-a-Screenshot-of-your-Guardian/page/33
Or go to http://www.gw2style.com/ and use its search function to show heavy armored characters and browse through them
Pick up some ideas of what looks you like and create your own
Fire sigil helps too
Maybe you Kurow should not be creating threads if you read people agreeing with you being hateful
Are you planning on only roaming with the two of you or are you going to participate in bigger fights as well?
Imagine: a fire rate of a Warrior Longbow, and a projectile speed of a Guardian Scepter
I haven’t purchased any outfits for the sole reason they are a complete suit without any toggles.
The headpiece can already be toggled, sorry.
Just trying them out, it doesn’t seem to change that much. They just won’t activate if something is blocking the way, but I can still use them to gapclose to targets outside of my range as usual
If you are a Guardian and you have problems with Rapid Fire, you are not playing the class right.
Yes it is. But you’ll most likely want to have a runeset that provides you with speed, and that is not needed in PvE dungeons again
Highly advised to get different builds for PvE and WvW. Use your berserker set in PvE
Ouch, this hurts if its implemented
Modern gamers…
Because killshot is the most telegraphed skill in this game and anyone with half a brain dodges it.
Wow you have eyes in your back too.
You can rotate your camera angle to show behind your character, it’s really helpful
Which is a rather ironic thread to post though, seeing as the thing that thread does is more or less prove the whole “bad internet” (in this case suppliers) part.
Please rephrase that
This whole thread is the biggest issue made of a non-issue, I regret I have been reading and replying in it, lol
The guys saying it is “because you have a bad internet/computer”, need to read this:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/support/Latency-Lag-for-EU-Players-merged/first
Same build is found in Obals Guardian PvE guide-thread, which I’m sure you have read through carefully.
Do you question him now too for adding it there?
Take this build, and replace berserker gear with valkyrie/knight gear until you get stats you feel comfortable with
edit: also swap foods and sigils to whatever of your liking
(edited by Vikkela.7261)
Did you go through all the effort of creating a new account to post some anti-healing power thread?
What sort of replies are you expecting?
The hammer autoattack is a ranged attack which you can combine with the reflective wall to spam lifesteal.
