I am not trolling, I am completely serious. What needs to happen is what happened to the dolak thing during wintersday making it easier for people. This event has 2 weeks. I mean it would be fine if it was permanent but it isn’t. It shouldn’t be this hard for a 2 week event.
Look at the forums. It’s been covered a million times and advice has been offered, casual players have been able to do it with PUGs. No offence but I honestly think a lot of the complaints are player error. It’s honestly not that hard.
We didnt wipe a single time we took her down very quick and we didn’t make it. We did everything right.
Make sure you picked up the cannon and brought it to the ship.
It’s either glitchy like the other achievements, or you clearly did not take her down fast enough. This is one of the easier achievements out of the others, and just because you’re having troubles does not mean everyone else is too.The problem is she takes too long to take down. You need to be near perfect to get it in 15 mins
She can be taken down faster if these people stay tight (circle her), while tank eating all condition and damage (other try to help tank to remove his condition and heal him). The problem: people afraid do this, stray away to far: make 90% horrik shoot miss, and use squishy build. (Although I have not get this achievement, 90% which make this fail, people does not want to stay tight). Always remember: melee weapon do more more more more damage than ranged.

Well not in fractal, make it like in WoW. A special place where you can do old run (Time…. Cavern). Of course the end dungeon reward, some loot is removed.
The only achievement I dont care is personal space. Yes you can, but make the whole fight become slower (much much slower)
Now please add the new weaponskins that these Aetherblades use aswell. They are just downright gorgeous.
I want their rapier and cannon (lol).
For armor: heavy coat and legging is badly designed (is it leather or what ?). (good for male character (clockwork soldier >.<), bad for female character)
Medium: is good
Light: I am a machinist….. (good for female character, a bit err for male character)

This bug happen if all your party member touch the first bungee thing. Tell one people to open the door or tell one people to stay with her.

Let’s be very clear to the people missing the point.
Yes, it’s PvP. But the CONTENT is PvE. The only reason the puzzle area in WvW sees this increase in traffic is because PvErs are going there to gain the PvE achievements and content.
And thank God for mesmers. Finally got this done, in the early morning hours, due to the kindness of a mesmer who ported our people.
If ANet employees actually read this thread, please place content in zones designed for the players who play in said zone. PvP content for PvPers. PvE content for the PvErs. You guys know this.
You separated the dailies and/or monthlies into those areas for this reason.
WvW is not a pure PvP, its PvE + PvP. They don’t need to separate this. Its only 1 cache, missing 2 achievement is not the end of the world. You need only 12 from 19. 19 – 2 – 3 seems likely impossible achievement (dungeon (I dont care with Horrik achievement)) left you with 14, more than enough to finish your meta achievement.

So what you are suggesting is that to do the achievement we should all create a thief and level it up in a week just for the pleasure of being able to get a ->PvE<- achievement?
I can only imagine what everyone else is thinking to that suggestion…
If you dont want to fight. Seriously, all your complain is: I get killed, I dont want to PvP in PvP JP (What ????). Thief is easy way to avoid all fight (due to their stealth+mspd) and stealth is encouraged in Obsidian Sanctum (EB JP) > mystic fountain grant you stealth not stability, not regeneration, not other boon.
A week ? I can level up my thief (or any class) in least than 6 hours.
ps: I do this EB JP as a warr (for this ach) not a thief (and not using mesmer portal), but in the past, sometimes I used thief to do this EB JP, and it worked very well. 90% player will never catch you or if they even try to catch you, you outrun them (at that time, my thief only lvl 31). The only problem is in dark room, if you do it again and again, you will not need torch to navigate this dark room.

Use warrior, dolyak signet, balance stance, rampage, shake it off for win.
This puzzle is buggy. One of torch may not lit at all after you use the correct pattern (especially right torch). In my server, only 3 torch which lit. Try left pattern, right pattern without avail. The puzzle is buggy.
The suggestion is not correct answer for buggy puzzle. Bug will always be a bug until they fix it.

This Frizz battle not even fun. Latency affect everything (sometimes you see you are in top of cart/barrel, but laser still hit you, sometimes you still have a gap before laser hit you but you take damage instead), lag spike and you will died, sometimes the golem lost agro and back and forth between wall for a long time (especially in the last phase).
Fun battle: FF boss battle without using glitch, now that was fun.
Another: Lupicus battle.
ps: warr is a win solution in this battle: 2 stability utility, 1 stability elite (banner better), shake if off. (High damage, almost 75% stability uptime).

All of my runs are with random. Some of these randoms are good, some are bad.
Its actually not that hard, its depend on individual skill and team skill. In addition, all individual should know how to fight.
The problem:
1. People stray to far (not tight). Mai usually shadowstep to this player (most of them using squishy build) and down them directly. This also make battle longer.
2. I don’t care about you…. (not picking skill which can help your team in fight): this is the problem of the team which although have a tank guard/warrior still fail the fight, these tanks need heal/condition removal, if you can, help them. (note: some guardian have: heal on giving boon, symbol heal: if you see guardian with this build, try to stand in his symbol, it will help him to heal, while you get boon from him, this symbol is also part of light combo)
3. Red circle too hard to see: seriously lower your graphic.
4. Red circle everywhere, panic mode on. Read number 3 first + stay calm, some of red circle in cannon barrage can be avoided by walk. (this will make some safe spots too)
5. Oh nooo, my teammate is dying in cannon barrage phase: read number 2. Bring skill which can instantly revive people from afar.
6. I want achievement (horrik), so I stand far away from rest of the team: Its better you stick around near your team, yes achievement can not be achieved, but you will end this battle nicely.
7. The battle is freaking too long: thats why stick together: Fun fact: when the port bugged (fail port when my team wiped out), I can took down Mai shield in less than 30 s. Now you know what you must do, stick together.

^ looks like I am the one who think Zhaitan is not dead yet. Defeated: yes, dead: nope, retreat : nope. Pact forces him to go back into sleeping mode, mending his wound which takes thousand years to heal (depending on magic power he can get).

If I see people with upleveled and ask what should I do, tell:
1. just follow the zerg/people
2. Man the arrow cart by pressing F and use 1 2 3 to your heart content.
But seriously, if some people tell you to not play WvW in upleveled character, dont give it a kitten. But if they tell you, your gameplay is not good enough, it is criticism.
Right now s/tPvP is more a individualized skill/build game with the group play coming from the RTS elements by controlling the points, groups that want to get the depth of both individual character understanding and group development look to WvW. We can only hope that as time progresses more small man roaming groups pop up over time. GW2 is an amazing game with lots of possibilities and depth and I wouldn’t be surprised to see a whole new WvW landscape in the next few months.
Looks like you never play tPvP. If this true, a pug pro player can beat a premade one, which is rarely happen. (I had seen, 1 pug team all lvl 20++ (rank) is being decimated by a premade one (to your surprise, 2 of their member not even rank 10)). In premade team, build is matter. Here your individual skill and your group skill (small) is tested. If you can/your team can, I believe 90% your time will win the game.
In WvW you improve connection between group, not inner group. You can imrpove your inner group connection, but not so that deep in WvW. (You roaming for what ? Looking 1 or 2 player to kill in WvW (1 or 2 vs 5 ? skill ? need cooperation of group ?) ? Killing NPC ? Roaming group in WvW is same as roaming group in PvE)
PvP room for only bunker build ? True and false. Many player believe bunker is the best. But is it ? Its back to player skill. Bunker will be bunker if that player now what they are doing, if not bunker will just be a “bunker” which easily defeated by a berserker build class. (I had seen guardian can bunker a point from 4 people, but I also had seen a bunker guardian can only bunker a point from 2 people.)
Massive zergs in WvW is natural, but it is worsen by the distance between object. WvW maps need to be larger, if they can each BL size need to be fifth time, while EB need to be 10 time. If they cant, just make, if you come into WvW, your movement speed is reduced for 50% (including NPC speed).

2 Reward players for playing in weaker servers. With this, players in that server will at least stay in their server, and some might even hop over. Be aware that this has to be done carefully. If the reward is too good, lots of players will want it and hop over, totally flooding the weak server, destroying their WvW community and also giving more unbalance in WvW again. It should be enough to keep players to keep the players in that server and new players to join in, but to little to make it worth the effort of transferring there.
I agree with this: incentive/rewards for any player which in lowest rating of the other 2 (if they perform better (use prediction rating and compare it)).
In addition: the server which has highest rating, if it loss rating, gain punishment: 100% upgrade cost, 100% siege cost.
Implement this until WvW population of all servers evenly distributed.

The “reward” should be:
5% decrease in cost gold > gem. (so we have moar gold sinking)
5% decrease in TP tax (when selling).
10% increase in gem > gold (buy gem pls

for PvP: none
for WvW: its depend, you want to steam roll everything (regardless ~ 1 hour queue) ? or you want to fight a huge zerg like spartan ? Or you want a balance match ?
Almost all best “WvW” PvP player reside in lower tier server (1 man can hold 3) >>> if they had not moved already.
Thief can outrun any pursuer w/o stealth. I have thief lvl 22, I can outrun a 80 warrior without stealth.
In PvP, my thief build does not use any stealth (except CnD). And it does well. Although its still underpowered (far underpowered to warrior), it can stand many attacks, take down an enemy (guardian bunker >>> bunker in pvp does not need move to much, they make battle inside the circle, where most glass cannon die), all of this without using CnD/stealth.
I just popped a holo projector in Iron Marches which brought the Orr holos out and it drew two warthogs to boot. Not counting the initial KD, and two evades I was knocked down and/or stunned SEVEN TIMES IN A ROW before I could even begin the fight.
For the love of all that is holy, STOP WITH THE ENDLESS CC in this game from every freaking mob. It is not “challenging” it is not fun it is strictly infuriating and pointless and drags fights out for absolutely no reason.
Getting pulled a half dozen times in ten seconds by spiders is MADDENING. Getting constantly locked down because every enemy in the area can do a knockdown or stun is MADDENING. Stop. With. The. Ceaseless. CC.
Video documentation please. I refuse to believe you were stunned 7 times in a row. Also dodges and condition removal is there for a reason. CC is not bad at all in this game.
It’s very easy to be hit by 7 or more CCs depending on how many mobs are in the swarm.
Looks like people have forgotten gear consumable incident in WvW. Perma Stun, perma lock. Nice huh ? Pop your stun break > stunned again. The only class which can escape this is guardian. If people have immunity to CC after several hit of CC (or a bit immunity to CC after stun break is casted), this incident will hardly happen.
As in context in PvE world, graveling and ogre (in mob) have similar problem. Perma lock. (although its usually due to accident (trapped in the middle of the mob, knocked in their first knock down attempt)).

Yeah I am a n00b. But this is not reason I want perma CC go away. Perma CC, perma stealth is a bad mechanic in the game.

No. Someone suggested diversifying the mobs and I don’t have a problem with that suggestion. You don’t need mobs themselves to be watered down because of CC. They don’t last that long.
Ok, necro can use his minions, mesmer can use his clones, engie can use his turret, but what about thief, use dancing dagger every encounter, thief guild every encounter, perma stealth and stay ranged ?
Perma CC (multiple) mob is not only from holo (which actually rare), but gravelling in AC. Use minion > minion dead in second, clone dead in second, turret, these gravellings dont care a bit about turret.
Open World ? Try ogre in fields of ruin. They will kick you here and there. Knock you down every time they can.

Killing veteran has more chance to get good item than killing non veteran
RNG gemstore box does not need guaranteed skin ticket, but the gemstore RNG box has: if you don’t get a skin ticket, you get a complementary ticket.
25 complementary tickets = 1 skin ticket.
Easy way to tell time day/night:
1. People who use legendary which shine at night
2. People who use AC weapon
Draw your weapon, if its glow, then its night.
Sunset->dusk->night->dawn->sunrise
(yeah its a bit funny, fireworks at dawn ? Lol.)
The fireworks design is also horrible. It is just: ok, its that it ? Ask everyone in Plaza: (more or less their comment) I don’t have any idea; suddenly I get the achievement, no fireworks; where is the fireworks ?

If you open holo in the middle of the mobs (low level lots of yellow mob), when they invulnerable, stay away from them. They will tag nearest mob. Then just kill them with help of other mob. (although I am lvl 80, I fight holo in lvl 70 – 80 area. This is what I do.)
Dungeon rewards should be based on how well explored the dungeon is. Speed runs should get a smaller reward.
The problem this trash mob only give trash loot (mostly), with difficulty silver mob. (If its normal trash mob or vet trash mob, so be it. But this is silver (mostly Arah mobs are silver) and few are gold, still giving trash loot (gray,white, not even guaranteed blue) is the real problem.)

I am doing it in high level non world boss area. Very few people there.
But I usually wait 30 s – 1 m before activate it.
Before delete your box, you should check the achievement in your tab. If it’s marked, although it’s bugged (for time), it’s work as intended (for horn skin). In addition you wont get it again in intended time. (Some people may jealous about this >.<). But if your achievement tab is not marked, it’s a big bug. (in this case, if you want to delete it, its up to you actually).
Category exploit: you do an action which is in your control but your action is not intended. For example: in first day: you know there is food buff (hp regen) bug in dragon ball, but you use the food buff, here you have exploited the game. But this, you go to LA, suddenly you get achievement and chest. You don’t have control about this (although you can join in that LA using party tab, but you may put randomly to this overflow). This is not exploit.
I agree, dragonball is boring. Just call target, tell your teammate to stick together, usually GG. No need other strategy, just zerg enemy to die. (The only thing different if there is a player who has master the map and dodge).
Crab toss is fun, wintersday is fun, halloween (all 2) is also fun, keg brawler is also fun. But this …. boring.
I had no problems so far. Might depend on server. In fact, people apologized if they attacked the mobs before you got to them. I was in a party last night in Sparkfly Fen. Was a lot of fun

Actually I would love they put this in the medium (45 – 65) area like in wintersday. The mob will be not easy, but it worth for partying.
^ agree. Go to higher level zone. Most of the mob does not die in 3 slash.
You will receive the mini if you buy gems before (if I am not mistaken) 9 June.
It will arrive but not at the same times for all player. (My guildies starting to get one, but it is 1 hour after I get my box (And they had online longer than me)).
Note: Not all people buy gems with real money is to buy RNG box. Due to they know, they buy gem with real money, they will wisely use their gems.
I feel this Anet acts is a complementary to their player who support their game.
(Yes, this is also a part of their marketing strategy to make more people to buy gems with real money. But Anet does not force you to buy gem, and not force you to use gems to a specific item).

Currently, the only way to get Jorbreakers is through Zhaitaffy trade.
But I’m relatively certain there are activities not implemented yet that award Jorbreakers. It would be completely inept for that not to happen.

I always wait for 2 minutes before I activate the hologram. In addition, I still prolong my encounter for next 30 s before I slain all the holograms.

I think Anet currently walk backward. Releasing new content with MORE bug, forget to delete here and there, more RNG, and so on.
For first two case:
1. Moa stun-exploit: they can make it have invulnerable buff + stability (like champ)
2. Health regen food exploit: they should implement it using PvP rule (which remove consumable).
I feel like Anet doing rush release content again.

Its sounding to me from the link on gw2s front page that the rich coffer will have a garunteed ticket and the regular coffer will act as the previous rng boxes had.

Why don’t sell the ticket directly ? If you only want skin and does not give any kitten to “infinite” thing, you can buy the skin directly.
