I’m glad I’m a roleplayer, things are a lot more fun when you are building your character in more social ways than mathematical ways :p

I enjoy the combat in this game (i play an ele though)

And if you want exotics there are many ways to get them that aren’t rng. The skins can be hard to find though it’s no rush really.

I’m always amazed by people that failed to do any research on the game before putting the money down. Everything was clearly advertised. If it’s lacking something you want, it’s your own fault for not opening your eyes.

I love gw2 because I bought it for what it is, not some fantasy.

It’s definitely worth carrying everything, some situations require access to different skills.

The massive healing rain is kinda fun. Would be nice if the size of the template increased to show a larger size.

Ah really good point Durzlla/Kirin , I’ve been d/d so long… I need to force myself to play focus more, the defence is really stellar.

You probably want dagger. Only condition damage focus has is flame wall. And if you’re soloing, you probably want the escapes for when you need to avoid zergs.

I imagine it’s a leftover from the scrapped ele spell charge mechanic.

more eles = more combos = more awesome. I never have more fun than pure ele groups :P

maybe you’ll be able to get another doll frame when you can play the doll instance in the airship.

I’m very happy to have finishers and fields so my auramancer build isn’t useless when I get my feet wet

The puzzle on the karka island was timed too, it’s what they do to make them more difficult.

The first field placed is the one that is counted, just stagger your fields.

Our fields are often rather large too, so you can use your finisher outside of the smaller field but inside yours.

Sounds good, I like the idea of having more reasons to run a dungeon properly

Just a point, if you press the button again for any template ability it will cast wherever your mouse happens to be (if you aren’t using fast cast) so with conjures you can just double tap the key to instasummon.

I mostly use the hammer in dungeons because my usual group has 3 eles and a ranger and the constant blast and leap finishers are wonderful with all the fields and my auras

I hope anet add more conjure traits or add conjure bonuses into existing traits, they are a lot of fun to use.

avatara, you can’t put all the points in without getting some attunement bonus.

Bountiful power is per unique boon. And it’s a bit of a shame auras aren’t boons anymore, losing 2% damage on auras :p

Toversletje , in some situations the swiftness from mist form can sometimes be used offensively. Adding chill and damage might be useful in this case, specially if it also granted the other bonuses from soothing mist.

We also have no auras underwater T_T
Whoever designed our underwater kit must have completely forgotten about how eles work :/

No auras, no combos, no conjures, no elementals, no storms

Thibash, the other classes falling spells don’t lose any of their synergy, why should ours. +1 for auras.

every mmo is like this for at least a year, can’t expect anything more :p

I just don’t understand why all these transforms seem to screw with traits etc :/ sigh can’t get a patch without more bugs …

Well no nerfs, And I’m very happy to see the conjured fix, the buffs were so meh to only apply on the first cast.

A step in the right direction

To be fair i use my permanent swiftness more than i jump off cliffs, and switching to water regens my health to full pretty fast after a non-fatal drop, meh.

Would be nice to have something flashy like a fire or water burst on falling though when I play my mesmer I would much rather have the swiftness than the falling reduction.

Yeah the utilities are so good that I wish I could take a 4th instead of the elite.

you get fine stones from 100% zones too. Pretty sure most of the skins can be found from the random karma vendors around the world (aside the class starter gear iirc)

tbh if you’re higher level you can still play alongside your gf, you get downlevelled remember.

my alts are a conditions mesmer, support engineer and a support warrior. (my main ele is also support)

I switched glyph of elementals for conjured ice bow. I might change it back though if there really is a bug that removes your weapon’s effect T_T

The use cap just kills me, warrior banners and engi drops don’t stop working til their time is up, can we have that please?

Also I was really interested in the weapon for the staffs buff, but it’s only up while you’re holding (the first!) weapon, so you can’t summon it to buff a normal ability T_T

I think they should have the buff as a passive for having the weapon on cooldown, like the inverse of signets.

Maybe the cooldowns would be reduced by 20% in line with other trait reductions (or just let them be affected by the normal cooldown reduction.

I wouldn’t mind having the weapon be swappable for its duration either (again, like kits, engis have what i want sometimes :P)

While I agree with a bunch, every class uses their unique trait to be worthwhile.

tbh I’m glad i picked this class, most balance patches are something to look forward to…

The attunement bonuses should be like the ones in arcane, where it has 4 different effects depending on attunement. Like the building speed bonus from lightning should be building crit/healing/armour or something like that, depending on fire/water/earth.

The extended fire field trait should be all fields (including storms)

Would be very fitting with our playstyle.

Cosmetic rewards for dedication is fine. But let them be something your class can use T_T

They should have gone back for you, I always do. It’s not too hard since the rez is instant.

I do wonder why you were in a non-accessible place in the first place :p

the rings should probably be craftable.

Reminds me of when wow added the “soulbound raid items only soulbind when you exit the raid” so people could trade them around incase of mistakes.

I just wish no parties ever insta-booted for any reason outside of a vote :/ There’s a timer for story instances, why is there no timer for normal instances?

Yeah anet should just change it so that if a leader leaves the dungeon, the leader changes, not just instantly booting everyone. (Or give the timer like in story missions)

I thought it was totally fair to trade endurance for blast finishers, it was the only way to get enough might stacks to do anything worthwhile damage wise :/ I knew a nerf was coming but I didn’t expect removing an entire playstyle :/

Just make it one blast per attunement ? or just 1 every 10 seconds ? This is too harsh without some other buff to make up for it.

I know some humans used to use base 12 (count the segments in your fingers with your thumb)
With 3 fingers and a thumb you’d be able to count to 12 with your other hand so i think Asura could have done it on their fingers at some point :p

Bodies may be watery but they are also fatty, there’s plenty to burn, water doesn’t inherently stop burns :p You can heat water up just like anything else. Remember the fire triangle kids :p

Never really though about this, but the idea of building your own exoskeleton sounds amazing
