Race change wouldn’t work since it affects your storyline. Class though does not
Race change YES. Class change no!
Class change: No
The need to level a character and learn how to play your class well is part of any MMO and even part of its essence.
I have my own thoughts bout race changes, but im not going to comment on it, cause there are other suggestions allready bout that and this one isn’t bout that. Please keep it on topic guys

No, the problem with this is very simple and allready studied even to university’s. WoW had the honour of hitting this kind of incident first:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corrupted_Blood_incident
The difference between an MMO like GW2 and GW1 is that GW2 isn’t instanced and maps can’t be reset by players. Putting anything contagious in it will eventually result in massive plagues.
The same effect has been seen happening in GW1 in towns when the Minion apocalypse flux was active. Everytime someone got killed a minion would spawn in it’s place. On itself a nice flux. But this was also active in outposts and towns. Still nothing wrong with it. But players where banned by dhuum and actually killed in outposts. resulting in a total whipe of everyone in the outpost.
The problem with contagious effects in open world MMO’s is that it is uncontrollable. There is no fix for it unless you want to remove the contagious part. This will result in just another condition not adding much to the game. So a now from me.

Yip definitly minus 1, specially for asuming that WvWvW is the only thing that matters. Most parts oft his community is very friendly and understanding to each other, and also to the fact that some people have different interests and priority’s then your own. I am truly sorry that you are so narrow minded. I think you deserve to be more.

-Edit- This was respond to a thread started by someone else, but deleted his starting message. -
You don’t have to get newly added PoI’s. If you got 100% map completion on e.g. divinity’s reach before june 11th (when the new PoI was added) you dont need to do it again.
Have you tried revisiting the chantry of whispers. The game often loose track of having discovered that PoI. Revisiting that place when you got everything else often does the trick for people.
If not my advise is to print out this list. And check all maps listed (you only have to hover your mouse over it). When a map is checked, strike out or chamark it on the list. I promise you will find the missing PoI, but again assuming it is one of the living story’s ones will likely not help you.

First off all
‘if implemented as a guild mission make sure ANYONE in the guild can trigger it not just officer’
This is not something for arenanet to decide cause they have given the power to do so allready to the guildleader. The guildleader can give each rank in the guild the power to activate guildmissions. If yours has given it only to himself and officers and not to regular members and if you disagree with that I would advise to discuss that with your guildleader or find a different guild with a different policy on the matter.
For the rest your whole post is a bit vague to be honest. A dungeon is nothing more then an instance, why would there be need for a queue? and what does it have to do with an instanced guildmission. I personally wouldn’t want the world bosses like dragons be guild exclusive.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
Indeed,
The way agro works in this game is pretty advanced and is often per mob different. The first thing thats different per mob is the agro range. Some mobs can be passed pretty close without getting their atention and others notice you form miles away.
Ohter thing is the target selection, this too can change from mob to mob.

to level 80: the average time per level is 2 hours of gameplay, this means bout 160 hours. This also is when you are seriously playing. I like to chat a lot in game with people, or admire a nice vista. That is for leveling offcourse lost time.
There are also ways of boosting this up through e.g. crafting. However, for that you need to resources.

You are not doing anything wrong. Though it is hard to get my finger round this fully, it looks like it has to do with your auction house account is doing something else. Mostly this happens when you have many popular things on sale (I have a garage sale on my collectibles from time to time, putting everything i dont use on the tp for sale), and I see it intensifying when i put more stuff on, and getting it when new money is there to pick up.

hmmm, sorry, but no.
I know what you mean and I understand it. but the warning is sadly needed. Just look at the amount of postst bout people loosing important item X or Y despite being warned. Removing it or making it any easier would mean that this would happen even more. I know, there is no cure for stupidity, but still too many people would make msitakes

Last off all there are 3 dragons in dynamic world events. One could argue that the first two (the shatterer and Tequatl) are a bit easy. On the other hand they are nothing easier then any other world event.
Oh well.
I gave more than enough information in my post on dragons, and if you didn’t get that message or understand what I am talking about then I guess you are just slow… They are simply too easy. 1 minute after they’re announced, they are dead…
Do something for gods sake, it’s ridiculous. I thought events scaled with the amount of players. In which case, Tequatl, and the Shatterer both need desperate attention. They’re the “Big bad dragons” after all, that everyone in the lore is so godkitten afraid of. Really, they are too easy.
Then there is Jormag, whose only difficulty is how he artificially lengthen the battle by forcing players to bash on a block of ice that has far more HP than the boss itself while casting a cheap damaging debuff on people that get too close… He doesn’t do ANYTHING while he’s behind that block of ice! He summons his minions, and that’s it. He just sits there behind his block of ice going “Can’t touch this!”… It’s not hard, it’s just tedious.
Actually, in most of the battles, the dragons don’t do kitten. The things you have to look out for are their minions. Look at Tequatl when he first arrives. He kittening leaps out of the ocean, wrecks a tower before he lands in front of the big scary cannon. Then what? He drops some stuff from his wings… Once in a while he’ll cry, and make everyone turn away laughing at the sight of a crying dragon. What if it used it’s agility to actually do something else than stand still taking anything that hits it? It’s clearly capable of such considering it’s entrance.
Elaborate enough for you?
Again!! Wich bloody dragons. Given the fact that you name Tequatl, I assume you mean the ones for world bosses. Well I dont see an issue with specificly the dragons and e.g. the maw, the shatterer or the mark II gollem.
So I think your suggesting is to make those events, all world bosses and not just the 3 dragons, more dynamic.
In that case you have my vote (except maybe claw of Jormag, he is actually a good example how it can be done).
But I think you should tidy up your language and your attitude. A good suggestion is measured by how many supporters you get for one. So tidy it up, make it for all world bosses, not only for dragons, use Jormag as a good example how it can be done, incorporate the fact that they should be still doable with smaller groups of people and you will have my vote.

- shard of mist essence
- master salvage kit
- journeyman salavge kit
- fine salvage kit
= Mistical salvage kit (or… something a little less easily confusable with mystic salvage kits…)usable on ascended gear only
5 uses
ascended salvages drop a core (either completely random; or determined by the items prefix) with a chance at a lodestone (similar to the chance to get 3 ecto from a rare compared to 0+1+2 ecto/s)solves two problems
-uselessness of mist components after a while
-too many rings
(and; if you consider lodestone prices to be a problem; deflation in them… drop rates could be balanced around the TP prices; so the -currently- more expensive lodestones/cores drop more often)
Personally my answer would be no. The main reason is that in my personal opinion the rewards for doing fractals compared with how difficult it is isnt right and there is allready too much attention to fractals due to the rewards there compared with other aspects of the game.
I would say to make these craftable with
- master salvage kit
- journeyman salavge kit
- black lion salvage kit
- any kind of lodestone
25 usages
can be used for salvaging ascended, exotic and legendary gear (not that the last will happen often, but if you want to salvage yours then go ahead). all level 75 or above
Besides acting as a BL-kit it also has a change of 1/10 to salvage a core. Besides that it has a change of 1/25 to salvage into a lodestone. Last off all when used on ascended items it has a change of 1/25 of dropping a shard of crystallized mists essence.
Besides getting it out of the FOTM-setting so it makes all of the game more interesting, you still get a bonus for FOTM-setting. I hitted a problem though cause it would cause a drop of sales of BL-kits, something Anet will never do, so i made them better BL-kits with a BL-kit needed for the recipte.
Last of all,
In my proposal I would change the name to either Mystical Black Lion Salvage kit or even better ’Gnashblade’s Salvage kit’ (named after the leader of the black lion trading company).
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
Wow, this must be the best suggestion ever. I really wonder how long it took you to think bout it. And the amount of details, O M Gosh, WoW.
-end of sarcasm mode-
Welcome to the suggestion forum. I would kindly ask you to eloborate more on what the issue is with ’dragon’s.
Currently there are 8 dragon’s in the game. 4 of them (including an elder dragon) are in a dungeon called the ruined city of Arah. They are indeed a bit easy to kill. The most important reason is cause its part of the main story line and Arenanet wants everyone to be able to do this.
There is also a dragon in a personal story, though he should be capable of dealing more damage, the fight has in my personal opinion the right difficulty level.
Last off all there are 3 dragons in dynamic world events. One could argue that the first two (the shatterer and Tequatl) are a bit easy. On the other hand they are nothing easier then any other world event.
After you explained properly what your issue with wich part of the game actually is I would like to invite you how you think this should be ‘Fixed’. That in the end is what a suggestion is all bout.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
Why in the world wouldnt they implement this?!

Cause this is the players helping players section, the answer is, there is no such option. I’m having the same problem, using 5 stacks of zhaitaffee’s to get a good suply of mf-cakes leaves me with mostly sore fingers.

the challenge of a good guardian is to know when to use skills. The guardian has a lot of selfprotection but also protection for others. furthermore he is also important in holding agro. So you always have to use experience and judgement to know when to use protective skills, use them for your team member in trouble? or keep it for yourself for later??
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
leaked skills are unlikely to leak, skill change are announced through official sources like release notes, there is no use discussing them till then.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
I’m not saying it is not allowed to bind keys to the keyboard. What i think can be banned is assigning a key to the mouse AND to a key on the keyboard.
But again, we are not staff. But i prefer to say no than telling yes use whatever you want and then being suspended for 72 hours or more. Better keep it save if you want to keep your account.
Then I have been breaking the rules all the time. I have a very common gaming mouse called the razor naga. This mouse has the keys 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 (some even more) under the thumb, I use them all the time when playing as well as the keys on my keyboard. I only had to plug the mouse in.
Ow and did you know your keyboard has two sets of numbered keys (well most keyboards)??
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
So a staff is not really viable for solo PvE?
Well lesser viable.
A staff is good at dealing damage to a lot of foes at the same time. Like I said earlier, 10 foes with full health deal the same amount of damage then 10 foes with 25% health. So killing all foes at once isn’t the best way to prevent being killed yourself. In situations where you can hide in a group like big events, that isnt a big issue and it helps everyone doing the event, but when fighting solo you likely find it easier to kill your foes one by one to reduce the amount of damage you recieve in total. There are however ele’s who played the game through to the end with a staff and it is totally possible.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
Your concern is right, but it isn’t as worthless as you are suggesting. not all conditions trigger per second, only the ones that damage you (e.g. burning or bleeding). But conditions like crippled or blind are the full duration doing what they are doing. Besides that if you get the full set you get a total of -25% condition duration, wich counts for all conditions.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
Strange,
I have never seen this to get bugged on my server, and also the websites using the API is showing no problem. Maybe casue the devs saw your post, but now 2 hours later Dwayna’s temple is open so not bugged on blackgate.
This can mean two things.
a: you have a mis-interpetation of a bugged event. If I remember there is no fail condition on the seal, so the event remains active untill people actually break the seal. That is not a bug but as intended. It takes a good amount of people though to do so.
b: This does get bugged (and luckely got unbugged). Then it is strange it only happens on blackgate. It seems that one or more people have found a way to bug it on purpose and I do hope the bug-solvers assist the GM’s to find the people responsable and take proper action.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
@Marcus It does make sense. There is no fun having to do all events you find alone. When there are many people doing an event they often take very short time. So these events are back-ups to have events running all the time, no matter how quickly some regular events are done, there are always events active and you will not run into events you have to solo all the time.
Vashoom,
Please dont derail topics with things that have nothing to do with it. There is btw no skillpoint in Malchor’s leap that can’t be done solo. T%here are a few skillpoints with a champion but they can be solo-ed easily. There are two with a champion that takes a bit more tactics. But you can approach the skillpoint while avoiding the champion mob (from the other side) and when your reach it without getting his attention he is far away so you can commune. So with all respect, your problem is more a learn to play problem. If you post the name of the skillpoint in players helping players I’m happy to give more information on the tactics involved and I’m sure the other helpfull people there will help you too.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
In big DE’s and WvW zergs I use staff. It has the best AoE orientated damage resulting in the best change of hitting all enemy’s and getting more drops.
For every else I personally use scepter dagger. Though dagger dagger is good as well.
staff: awesome AoE-damage, limited protection cause you have to kill them all at once (10 foes with 1/4th health left deal as much damage as 10 foes with full health, so AoE limits the pressure on you).
Scepter/foucs: highly orientated on protection
Dagger/dagger: This is still ranged by the way. Highly focussed on dealing damage
Scepter/dagger: hybrid, a very good damage output, but with more then enough control ability’s to keep yourself alive. The reason I use this most of the time.
I came to this through trial and error, as mentioned, I was using staff all the time and even though i was 3 levels above I couldnt do my level 23 story-line. Then I switched to scepter/dagger and was amazed. Cause I could take out my enemy’s one by one I had much more control. So if you use the weapon thats not optimum the difficulty level of the game rises.

I’m not so sure about that. Because what he now can do is use 2 hands and click very fast on the keyboard and on the mouse button at the same time (or almost) Since both can be used.
And with programs like that or autoclicker, it simulates a mouse click. So the game will just see 100 clicks at a 1ms (or less) interval.
Still the rule is one mouceclick/key stroke = on action, as long as thats what you doing, its just keybinding. It is actually 100% allowed to bind all your keys on the keyboard to a single action and just smash your head on it multiple times.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
There’s an option to turn on double click with 1 keyboard press, but as long as I use it as single click from keyboard is single click on mouse, then should be ok?
Ignore the above post:
Yes it is ok to do this, as long as you indeed keep the one click/one action rule. A button pressed on the keyboard or on the mouse should result in one action and not more.
To the poster above. Support can tell if there is a difference. The game logs your actions and input. This is used to see what you are doing. So that is why the rule is one mouseclick/key stroke results in one action. If support sees one mouseclick results in 100 actions they know you are going against the rules.

Worst case scenario: it’s Trahearne.
Same thing applies to Trahearne and Tybalt as to what I said about Demmi Beetlestone before. They can’t write them into the living story, because it has to be independent of the personal story. Depending on where you are in personal story, Trahearne might be a) completely unknown to you; b) a random Sylvari with self-confidence issues who is helping you; c) a random Sylvari with knowledge of the Risen who is helping out during and after Claw Island; d) the leader of the Pact trying to take down Zhaitan; or e) the leader of the Pact who has stunningly achieved victory over Zhaitan. Anet is not going to go to the trouble of making sure someone like Trahearne can be written in as an anonymous benefactor here, and still fit in with personal stories at every possible stage they could be at.
This is not true,
They have mostly followed that line so far, but it is stated that in the timeline of events, the first southsun cove event takes place AFTER the defeat of Zhaitan. This means that flame and frost also happens AFTER the defeat of Zhaitan, so does the second event at southsun and now dragonbash. Making an exception for Eir, Rytlock and Logan shows that it isn’t a golden rule. They try to make the living story playable and enjoyable for everyone. But the purpose is to entertain the people who did the personal story and to keep the game a live till the main story continues.

Hi and welcome to the forum,
As this is your borthers account it is your brother that has to make the support ticket. You don’t need to have a support account to file a ticket. More information on how to file a ticket can be found here
If you previously made a ticket, and recieved a 12-digit ticketnumber, you ticket will be handled and you will get a respons. DSo not make more tickets cause it will clutter up the line and slow down the response time. Off course nobody is perfect and also Arenanet sometimes makes mistakes. So if you don’t have a respond after 72 hours something went wrong and you can post the 12 digit ticket number in this sticky
I’m sure everything will work out fine. Good Luck!

You can still put the item in the forge to infuse it. The looks are irrelevant for the recipe.
However, cause the looks are irrelevant, the backpiece you get out of the forge will have the looks of the capacitor and you will loose your wings that way.
Bottom line, if you plan on transmutating an item, make sure you dont have plans with the item in the mystic forge.

As green said, take your time.
I checked the 4 maps daily. the maps never look the same, so alsmot every day there is some part in your worlds hand thatyou can discover. Some parts, like home bases and fortresses near to home bases, alsmot never change colours. So waiting for the weekly reset helps a lot. from the wiki: The North American WvW matchups will reset every Friday at 6:00 PM PDT, which is 01:00 UTC (03:00 UTC+2) Saturday, and the European matchup will reset at 18:00 UTC (20:00 UTC+2).
Waiting for these moments and then rushing in helps a lot as well. Most parts are still neutral then and easy to reach.

a boon is something positive given to you buy yourself or an ally.
the positive is always temporary and is shown above your utility skills (6,7,8,9,0) in a yellow icon. when you hover your mouse over you can see how long its going to last and the rim of the icon is a countdown, giving an indication how long it is going to last.
The positive effect can range for a speedboost to having more toughness or regaining health. that depends on the type of boon.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
What is the purpose of having gold, besides being able to buy some stuff on the TP.
For example why would someone want 15 gold, what would you be able to buy what you weren’t able to do with 3 gold..
Due to cirumstances, in real life im on a tight budget. But I can keep myself alive, have internet, have a roof above my head, and I’m able to play a game like gw2.
I miss having a car to drive around and I miss other things I could afford when I had more budget. But those things are considered luxury and i cant afford that right now.
When im playing the game I have a rule. Everything above 50 silver on level 70+ characters goes into my bank. Everything above 25 silver on 70- characters go into the bank. The reason is that I don’t need more on my characters to play the game and play it properly. Above that it is all luxury or lazyness. And believe me I spent the content off my bank account way too often.
This game gives everyone a fair change on being good and winning. having lots of money means, like in real life, that you can afford a bit more luxury or more shinnies in your life.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
this is my method:
a: if it is less then yellow I sell it all, the only exception is things that say salvagable item. I store them for when it is daily recycler (and maybe when you play more then me you can use the left-overs for monthly recycler, but i dont get enough for that). This salvage is done with the basic salvage kit. (the crude would be more efficient, but it lacks the amount of uses, taking up more storage slots, since the storage slots also cost money they are actually more expensive).
b: Everything white, blue and green gets sold to the merchant unless im leveling and i can use it on that character.
c: Yellows (rare) below level 65 gets sold to the merchant
d: yellow’s above level 65. I check the price on the tp. if the price is less then 1,5 ecto’s (currently 19 gold so 28.5 gold) I salvage it with a high end salvage kit (see my note later bout wich one).
e: the same should go for orange (exotic) items, but they are always more worth then 1,5 ecto. So you can always sell them on the TP unless… often the sigil or the rune is worth more then the exotic item itself, so check that as well by typing it in manually. If the upgrade is worth more on the tp then the item use a high end salvage kit to get that off and sell it formore value.
Note bout wich high end salvage kit.
obvious black lion kits are better. they have a higher change on getting ecto’s (and the amount) as well as that they have a higher change of getting upgrades off. the stats for upgrades for bl-kit is 100% and for master salvage kit is 80%. The change of getting ecto’s is halfed. taking the difference in account, it os not worth to spend gold on using gems to get the BLC-kits. if you get them (and you get them often) use them as high end kit, if not then just settle with the master kit for the high end salvages.
this method is rather easy, and gives you bout 90% optimal result, off course when getting an orange item you can calculate the risk of loosing money when using a master kit and compare it to the possible profit you can gain with a BL-kit. this takes a high level of math, and even though I am pretty good at math I settle with the 95%.
Arise, opressed of Tyria!
I’m not so sure you could even put a transmuted fractal capacitor in the MF to infuse/ascend it.
last I heard, transmuted sunrise/twlight can’t be forged into eternity…
Very likely, though as far as I know untested, when you have e.g. sunrise and transmutate it to have the looks of e.g. a zweihander, you can still use it to create eternity, cause the essence (the stats) is still unchanged, the ability to change in the mystic forge is normally bound to the stats.
However, where to find someone willing to risk this to test it out??
For the situation I described in my previous post it has been tested and proven to work this way.

Guild Upgrade Speed Ups should be refundable
in Account & Technical Support
Posted by: mercury ranique.2170
ok first off all, please delete your second post.
Then to to content.
The delete listed upgrades is meant for guildleaders or high ranking officers to cancel build orders of lower officers. that is the main reason why it is a separate permission. The idea behind is that the leader can correct the lower ranking officers when they do something wrong, but should also include a learning curve who to trust with the right to start an upgrade. When I was an officer in my last guild I made the mistake of queuing a +karma boost instead of a +magic find boost. I offered to buy the influence with coin to my leader and to cancel it, but he was happy with my apology and the karma boost could be used later anyway. That is the way big guilds learn and teach and why the mechanic makes sense. I personally believe that in personal account problems arenanet could be a lil less nicer when it comes to refund, when it comes to influence, well a good leader learns from his mistakes.

Hmmm, to those people I would have simple soultion. You dont like the cutscene, so delete the journal. Although I would advise to wait a few days, to see if gets more use in the next parts.

I have 3 suspects on my board but, having destroyed my box (a suggestion was made to me) when Vorrk was bugged, I can no longer get the sample nor retrieve a new one from Keil. Most distressing. :s
ok the rest seems to have a bug different then the one on dulfy.
You don’t.
You dont need the kit, and two hours ago you couldnt get more then 3 suspects.
You do need a new kit, but after you visited the last 2 suspects (no kits needed) you can enter the stage again and marjory will give you a new (altered) kit.

Thank you, but I too found a group instantly using that website. Got lucky I guess. Otherwise, the loot reward was terrible. :c
Hmmm, You get the chests in the dungeon (5 in total I think). The reward for the dungeon story mode and the reward for finishing your personal story. These tickets give you a rare weapon you use most. If you havent got a rareuptill then you will have then and thats a good weapon to start getting an exotic weapon.

Password must be 8 characters long error
in Account & Technical Support

I also have this problem when trying to change my password to another password that is at least 8 characters.
But it allows me to make a much longer password.
So my guess is they changed their password policy bud didn’t bother to update it on the account creation/password change forms.
It is NOT 8 characters minimum, it is much more, as I tried many different passwords none of which I have used elsewhere, but the longer password was accepted.
Please read the linked article by Gaile Gray: https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/mike-obrien-on-account-security/
Arenanet knows from reports of hacked accounts wich passwords are often tried by hackers. Those passwords are blacklisted to use. The lenght doesn’t matter.
Many people make the mistake of choosing a password fitting for your interest. As having interest in this game, you also might have an interest in e.g. anime. Using a famous anime name for example sounds like wise. However, half of the gw2 players like anime. So you might think it is very unique, in reality it isn’t.
If I might give you an advise on your password. Everyone has a secret. for example a secret crush during high school. Something only you know. My password is my biggest secret. The one thing bout me I would never tell anyone ever! It is nothing bad like ‘I murdered Jake’, its just something I am ashamed off.
for example (not mine obviously): ‘I farted during my first kiss’

The most important advise is to change area.
Exploration is an important way to get XP. I personally also hate to look out for where I’m going and if im not in a too high area, so I’ll try to be ahead of things.
This is how I level all my characters:
a: start your character and when you have to apropiate level do the personal story step.
b: Start by exploring the level 1-5 area in your starter map for your race. This is always an area with clear boundry’s making it easy to see.
- for humans, it is across the river, west from where you start, do not go north of the bandit cave and your ok.
- asura, the area around the lake up to the g.o.l.e.m. historical dig site.
- charr, do not go through the village of smokestead or through the flame legion cave and your ok.
- norn, the southern part of the mountains where your ion the grass and not the snow.
- silvari, the area up to morgan’s spiral.
c: once you have done this you go to your main town and explore that fully. then go to lion’s arch. explore that fully and then go to one of the other towns
d: explore the other town, and then go to that race starter area and do the level 1-5 area. repeat this step till you are level 15
e: now go back to your cultural starter area and explore this fully
f: repeat e for 2-3 other starter area’s. You will now be level 25
g: start doing level 15-25 area’s till you are level 25. Keep using this system when you level up.
The benefit is that you work on your world completion, but also that you never have to watch where you are going in a map.

IC ur point, you make a valid argument, however when someone spends hard earned cash, especially enough to buy a new game with whole new content and extended play time, then I think there should be a guarantee to get that ticket! Then to satisfy the ones who can’t afford a “RICH COFFER” can try to get the skins through one of the other sources.
There is no NEED to get this skin. This skin doesnt make you a better player and this skin isnt. If you liket gambling you can buy RNG-boxes and be lucky. Things that drop only from these boxes are not interested to me and I don’t even going to consider wether or not I like these skins.- I havent looked at them and I dont b other. If a ticket drops for me from a regular coffer I will take a look and see if there is a skin I like.
Bottom line. Nobody is forcing you to get or open rng boxes.
I think ur missing the point as to why people buybskins in the 1st place. I personally buy stuff because I like them. I like the fact that I can personalize my character with cool stuff even though I can’t play GW2 24/7. However I like having the option to spend my hard earned cash to maintain a specific need. Now I don’t mind a little gamble, but there should be a tolerance put in place when it comes to people who actually spend money to help support GW in general. I have been playing GW since the beginning of GW1. In GW1 when I spent real money, I was satisfied, because I got what I wanted.
If you want to buy skins thewre are a lot of specifick skins available in the gemstore that you can buy direct. Both temporary offers as permanent ones.
My point is that some people keep complaining bout the RNG-boxes. If you dont like them, then dont buy them. If nobody buys them Arenanet will stop. If people keep buying them, apperently people like them, so there is no reason for arenanet to stop. But some people just keep on crying bout a simple commercial effect.

1: did you clean out your mailbox?? if you have 10 messages in your box you need to delete some old ones to recieve this mail.
2: If that doesnt help please file a support ticket. This sticky will explain how and where to do this
Good luck!
Don’t file another ticket, but update your existing one. And check your spam and junk folders, or log onto your support account to check for responses. Good luck. =)
Oops, thanks IC. I was very sure I checked the OP’s post if he allready had filed a ticket. You are off course 100% right. Never post duplicate tickets.
