you will have easy 25 might, lots of fury, and vigor, (vigor bugged your crit chance atm) but should have 4%+20% +33% when endurance full, 250% crit dmg, 3367 armor and nice 17.7k hp.

consider taking jallis and using Righteous Rebel
using rotgd and vh give you all together 75% dmg reduction
using also rune of melandru or hoelbrak will give you 25%-20% reduction on duration

so basically for 5 sec you will take if you taking 5k every sec condi dmg which means 25k total dmg it will be 5k dmg 80% less total

using is to bunker or sustain build can be nice

It sounds cool in theory, but in practice you will never have that much energy to be able to maintain. Rite of the Great Dwarf costs 50 energy which renders it unuseable. Then 7 energy to maintain hammers. Just to do this for 5 seconds you will need start off with 60 energy and not use any weapon skills but auto attack.

There is a reason why Jails is not used in PvP.

it cost 40 nrg in pvp. i used it in the last demo will uploald demo of me looking for condi bombing . for testing issue. the dmg reduce almost by 80% and one time 50%.

sure its not condi cleanse but even now or we must have way way way better condi cleanse abilities as the condi spamm is too much.

ele condi, mesmer condi, warrior condi, rev condi, necro condi, ranger condi.

it gives you time. i sue jallis as a support legend and mainly ventari.

but consider it in wvw while 1 is pure healer and other is dmg reduction role.

this is why i suggest the combo cause our resistance will be easily corrupt or stolen or removed (necro, warrior, thief, sigils)

i am the first one who said we need more conditions handling and less nrg on weapon

the idea here is to use jallis skills 10,9,6 and switch to ventari to use 9 and staff cleanse
8 conditions removes while you took 75% less dmg

work nice versus burning guard, condi mesmer, condi rev. versus necro i had to leave the point but it took him longer to kill me.

its 1 trick pony as the conditions is flying so after 8 sec you will be bombed again if not disengage the fight as you wont have much nrg left

so we need more nrg management trait, or less cost on them.

ventari suggestion :
ventari elite – as it leaves you with no nrg should give back 2% nrg for each condition removed from allied only.
Serene Rejuvenation – no need for alacrity with ventari – change it to gain regeneration boon and while you have regeneration you gain back 1% nrg per sec

retribution line:
Versed in Stone – when used also cleanse 5 conditions. gives back 5% nrg per sec if you break out of stun
Determined Resolution – also regen 1% nrg per sec when you have stability

invocation line:
Shrouding Mists – also remove 1 condition above 50% nrg every 3 sec

corruption line
Pulsating Pestilence – transfer 3 conditions when invoking legend

Orders from Above – cost no nrg, recharge 40 sec. gives back 50% nrg and alacrity as mention.
Brutal Momentum – while you have vigor you regn 1% nrg per sec

i like a lot the idea a sniper. in pvp i mean.
the group who fell to target the thief got snipe. so you have to be aware always.
i use a support role with lots of aoe blocks and self block to control the fight and help ny team.
for me as former thief i could easily target them and use aoe on the stelath spot. which make the thief shadow step away.
so it was more tactical game than bursty game versus them

sure few killed me when i was off cd or unaware. which is ok.
d/p will still be tha main weapon choise. dont worry
p/p is nice also as sustain dmg in group fight and +1

back to the subject. you can stack protection before fight. up to 30 sec.
at the start when your team ready you use it and boom your team target will be down

its a 3k dmg buff if 3 allies hitting 1 guy.

you put your heals on point and it will heal also so give you better way to sustain longer

Razorclaw’s Rage – enhance your attack by bleeding!? maybe try more.
seem it more for pve and not pvp and wvw.
so if it get killed it stun enemy players and spray the area with caltrops (like thief utility) unblockable 360r

Darkrazor’s Daring – also enhance your attack with slow and torment 1 sec. if it get killed spray the area with smoke field which proc blind . more option to daze the target by the AI.

Icerazor’s Ire – also enhance your attack with chill for 1 sec. if it get killed spray the area with ice field for 5 sec.

Reason for these recommendations:

  1. The In-game version of the skill doesn’t provide any initiative protections against burst damage.
  2. The Daze will synergize with the break stun to ward enemy players/Npcs and avoid initial burst dps.
  3. Barrier will provide protection to the Renegade player/Allies and would provide the player to stay within the radius “just” long enough to obtain the pulse healing.
  4. Breakeazor can convert conditions into Fury which will keep the Renegade player engaged and enable them to bunker and kit hits for a short duration of time.

it seems too strong . also you lose the spirit effect if it cant be killed.

i like your idea and would like to improve them a bit

make the AI killable. but make it also worthy for your allies if they were killed.

so :
Summon Era Breakrazor to heal your allies while shielding them from condition damage.

what i find interesting in pvp is the support role. with mender amulet

Breakrazor’s Bastion, Soulcleave’s Summit, Icerazor’s Ire – give protection to allies, reduce condi dmg on point by 33% and heal them about 660 per sec and steal life about 700 hp and do dmg about 750 per attack.

switch back to ventari and heal some more…

with decent group the enemy necro and holo on point just metled.

problem is lack of stability, self condi cleanse like other class have – warrior perma resistance with stability with regen, ele, ranger etc…

we just need more abilities to be par with other as support like more condi cleanse, reflect and stability.

as condi class the sb is useless in pvp
as dmg dealers same as herald.

From what I saw, the issue is that all these charr are too squishy + the abilities cost a ridiculous amount. I agree that the damage is nice (not sure if the damage can crit) but if it ever poses a threat and the enemy team is aware of it, it’ll get shot down very quickly.

On a side note, can you stealth these charr?

you can resummon it again if it dies no cd

the skill gives 750 dmg and with good healing between 400-650 healing with every attack

isnt it good for team burst in pvp

i use it with Icerazor’s Ire and Citadel Bombardment on the point and it did nice aoe dmg while my team make havoc also.

what do you guys think?

for me it some class are great and some are the worst
the OP:
holosmith – the best dmg output
scourage – great condi dmg as ever

the OK:
soulbeast – need to tune down the boons sharing. the dmg is good. i have easy 25 stability might perma quickness etc….
firebrand – need to tune down the burning. dmg is ok. support is ok.
spellbreaker – great unti condi which need to tune down the resistance abilities. dmg is ok
weaver – dmg is good but still more sustain is needed. not good as support. barrier needs more hp buff.

the UP:
renegade – condi spec is worst. need condi handling versus the condi fest out there. need more dmg to the SB for it to be hybrid weapon. cant support nor sustain that well with his utilities. other can do it far better
deadeye – good dmg but easy to be reflected. cant do much in pvp with rifle. so d/p or even s/d/p comeback.
mirage – need more tweaks to be phantasm build. condi is boring and power must come back

small changes and mirage can be better (imo)

ambush – make the skill last longer 3 sec and hit harder
gs – beam should hit harder and bounce 3 times between foes.
sw – hit harder
staff – give also vigor
axe – hit harder

False Oasis – should heal more on initial 4860 and pulse aoe 2 times 1620. the last pulse give mirage
Jaunt – range 600. increase direct dmg 100% . 2 count. confusion each leap 4. convert 1 condition to boon.

Riddle of Sand – also do 500 dmg
Speed of Sand – 2 sec duration

i want this elite be also semi direct dmg as i miss the gs.

here are my thoughts and ideas for pvp

Traits: main concept more abilities to sustain the fights.
Wrought-Iron Will – retaliation change to protection for 3 sec and regen increase to 5 sec – we need more regen and defense boons
Endless Enmity – below 75% hp to gain faster fury and vigor
All for One – also Legendary Renegade abilities cleanse 1 condition – a must or we die
Sudden Reversal – increase base dmg to 1500
Lasting Legacy – also gain 300 heath for each new stack you gain. to sustain the fight
Righteous Rebel – also reduce condition duration by 33%. to sustain conditions fights

weapon skills: more hybris weapon so incrase dmg
Shattershot – bleeding and duration is 4 sec base and increase base dmg
Bloodbane Path – reduce activation time to 0.5 sec also unblockable
Sevenshot – hardly hits 7 torment as its hard to target during fight all the arrows. so change it to the first arrow which hits cause 7 stack of torment.
Spiritcrush – increase base dmg. also chill foes standing on it.
Scorchrazor – increase base dmg

utilities:
Breakrazor’s Bastion – reduce pulses to 5. increase base healing 100%. for 5 sec minus 66% condition dmg taken. why break stun on heal skill? but wth.
Razorclaw’s Rage – bleeding duration 4 sec. also pulse 10% increase direct dmg – it says enhance. every pulse cleanse 1 condition only from 1 ally (maybe internal cd)
Icerazor’s Ire – where is the chill
Darkrazor’s Daring – increase base dmg by 50%
Soulcleave’s Summit – give regen for 1 sec for every pulse.

Heroic Command – give also fury for 1 sec for every stack
Citadel Bombardment – increase 100% direct dmg
Orders from Above – for every pulse convert 1 condition to boon

ok i tell you a secret. send a condi necro to kill the magi ventari. after 1 condi burst rev will switch as he wont have nrg left. than another burst and he dead.
even good mesmer can take it down but its more trickier as he need to hit you with 2 burst at least. necro just AA and have fun.

CS yield more dmg output if your hits crit. as it depands on crit attack. while DA gives direct dmg sources and immobilize mainly.

thus weakness is the big wrack of the CS trait line as your attack wont crit.

also CS does more dmg above 50% hp while DA does more dmg below 50% hp.

Honestly this is such a design over sight it’s embarrassing.

You mean like Herald trait that provides protection on heal skill use?

He means Facet of Light. It heals you for the damage you take, and the dome only appears when you consume facet of light. It contradicts pretty hard, since the dome minimizes damage at a point where you want to take as much damage as possible.

this is the problem with retribution and dragon stance. if you have stability its also another 15% dmg reduction. which means retribution line isnt good with dragon rather with jallis.

I think Jalis cleanses enough condi, look towards Ventari for your mass cleansing needs. Jalis hammers are meant to help you stay in the fray by reducing the damage you take, healing, and doing damage. Increasing the upkeep for some more piddling condi cleanse reduces the time you can keep them spinning. However, Shiro could definitely use some condition cleansing, that we both agree on.

still the condi out there makes it so much hard to cleanse. you wasting all your nrg to cleanse 3 times and boom you are dead.

Weapon Skills:
Echoing Eruption: This skill now leaps to a target, if there is one. Increased the leap distance traveled by 25%. Fixed a bug causing this skill to display the incorrect range.

sometimes the leap goes beyond the target. and also why isnt it got leap finisher and the second and third attack can be blast.

Utility Skills:
Inspiring Reinforcement: This skill has been unsplit from PvP, reducing the energy cost of this skill from 35 to 30 in all game types.
the dmg should be higher 25%.

Vengeful Hammers: Added a third hammer and reduced damage by 33% to preserve approximate damage per second. Changed the base function of this skill so you can no longer lose projectiles as a result of passing too close to uneven terrain. This skill has been unsplit from PvP, using the increased healing values in all game types.

also reduce condition duration by 20%. jallis needs a utility which handle conditions. as next patch will get even more condi hate. so when you release hammers you lose 3 conditions. increase nrg to 10.

Energy Expulsion: Increased the duration of fragments created by this skill from 5 seconds to 10 seconds.

Riposting Shadows: This skill now grants 6 seconds of fury when activated.

Impossible Odds: This skill now grants 10% increased damage for its duration in addition to its existing effects.

the conditions must be first cleanse before the healing take part.

Traits:
Empowering Vengeance: This trait has been reworked and renamed Vicious Reprisal. Vicious Reprisal increases the duration of retaliation applied to you by 50% and causes your attacks to do 10% increased damage, granting 1 stack of might for 8 seconds as long as you have retaliation.

bugged the duration is not effected in tooltip and i think when you taunt.
i think retaliation should get more dmg with this trait. so duration and dmg increase by 50%. the attack do 10% is not needed.

Improved Aggression: This trait has been split and now increases taunt duration by 100% in PvE and 25% in WvW and PvP. It now also grants 2 seconds of retaliation when taunting a foe.
why 25% it should be 50%.

Determined Resolution: This trait has been reworked and now reduces the damage you take while you have stability by 15%, and increases the duration of stability you apply by 33%.

Hardened Foundation: This trait has been reworked and now grants up to 120 Toughness, converting 7% of your Toughness into Healing Power.
still too low healing power to benefit from it.

Hardening Persistence: Fixed an issue in PvP where this trait was not granting the proper amount of Toughness when using Facet of Light.

Planar Protection: This trait now casts Dome of the Mists when you use your healing skill in addition to when you take falling damage. Increased Dome of the Mists’s recharge from 5 seconds to 20 seconds.
its reduced to 4 sec duration from 8? why could be good trait to use but 4 sec is too low.

all in all good changes to power shiro, invocation and devastation line .
still i think 1 utilities to cleanse condition with jallis and shiro, reduce cd on purifying essence to 3 sec. and we good to go

TL;DR down below

TL:DR Redesign the core legends to be standalone, not just a way to choose which glint build we’re using. Keep the build focus to the weapons, not the legends so much.

i think if you check jallis it is now more focus on bunkery. more healing proc every 4 sec, stability now reduce 15% dmg, more retaliation, more weakness (just shame Planar Protection is 4 sec duration and not 8 sec as it used to be) and you get a third hammer so bit more healing focus on group fight.

shiro got buffed to focus more on dmg with invocation and devastation line

still the main weakness is conditions which is fine although i would like 1 more condi cleanse in each legend skill or utilities

i don’t think i’ve faced a bunker rev yet. And i really don’t know much about rev’s in general. How are they surviving?

They’re able to decap and eventually fullcap against a 1v2. 1v3 maybe not..

wow wow i cant believe another person post a thread about rev support/bunker beside me

ppl already know i like the bunker /support rev. not because its effective rather is new to the old ele meta. and for me its effective.

yes rev support is effective i have tested it with dps meter versus ele and the result was much better. sure there are more factor to consider like rotations, role in the fight and good or bad team. but in average with rev i got more boons support (no vigor) more healing sustain or burst.
the main cons is you need your team to peel off ppl from you. ele can teleport out or have 3 sec immunity. rev dont. but rev can heal from range which is nice.
ele got elite so if used right can save low health ally with elite skill while rev need to time the heal right or just dont let the ally to get there in the first place.
this is why its spamm heal skill – blind, protection and small heal.
regarding kb it works but consider 10 nrg cost versus losing all your nrg every time. so again ppl call it OP while they dont know the whole facts.
you can decap versus some ranger (stability), ele(easy), engi(easy), some warrior (stability), mesmer, necro (easy)
versus gaurd can be hard due to blocks stability proc.

i can hold 1v2 if the enemies are sustain or support. if they are dmg (direct or condi) iam able to hold for 30-45 sec. but this is me (with no kiting)

condi spamm thief eventually can kill me if i try to hold the point.

ventari can fight almost any melee 1v1 due to its blind spamm. warrior will hate you. thief also unless they are patient.

i use 2 builds

i loved the burn guard but got too bored with it. also an ele can ruin your day and make you ineffective in team fight till your team focus them. so mainly as 1v1 on close or far.

for the first build:
Isn’t valor inferior to Virtues when not running mediations?

its mainly for the minor traits. aegis, your healing cleanse 2 conditions and heal 2.3k more. courage recharge when ressing. shield cd. might when block.
virtue gives retaliation, 3 more cleanse and stability.

you can take merciful intervention for self heal 5.6k and also shadow step to allies to heal them for 3.5k

i also notice some hackers. i fought a condi mesmer in the temple red side. he follow me to his red side point and use blink to reach me. my ally came to + 1 and the mesmer disapear (probably prestige as i saw purple glow when it happened but he reappear (i saw it cause i put condi on him ticking) over the ledge far behind the ramp. no blink can reach there or rdy to be used with 24 sec cd. or blink+PR as i saw no clone and also no portal.

you got good direction but this will create even less ppl playing pvp….

maybe just reduce the timer to 45 sec.
or if your team played 4v5 for 1 min the team wont lose mmr
or if your team played 4v5 and got below 100 points different the will get 1 pip win

etc…

No, he said on stream that he couldn’t kill it, that it does absolutely nothing and that it’s stupid. On the same stream Sindrener called it trash. You insist so much on using this build that you are finding any justification you possibly can to continue using it. You even came online and made comments about how it would be new meta because Helseth couldn’t kill it solo.

i dont insist. i testing it and having fun with it and want other to use and test it fully. i give my feedback and puts video (yes i do mistakes) to show it out. i didnt say it would be meta rather others said it on his stream and i just re-ask it on his thoughts.

i see so many ele support die so hard while their team dont peel for them…

i fought as support ele and won. my states of the game were worst. just my team did better rotations and didnt afk . maybe the game design consider placement base on the profession and think if i am rev i probable using power build. i dont know

so far i have more wins as support rev than ele. and my state are better.
also most fight the other team get no support class like ele i think cause the system consider me power build as rev which ended that my team has support versus team without support role.

its seem you want me to stop testing the build. so far i didnt see top players say something why this concept is bad or less good than other support class.
my guild and you dont like the concept but some dua-q with me and i have fun with it and win with it. and they give me feedback on my rotations as i need to learn.

but if i dont have 5 premade and play mostly soloq. the problem will continue as random ppl can join me and manipulate the game.

so 5 man team only solve the problem for 5 man team.

isnt it a way to know which ip the user from so the number of account will be determine by his ip and not account.

achieved gold so now its gold curse LOL

with rev i have to say i saw couple of fights another ventari rev.
i had about 800 healing with those games. and the ele preety much die much faster (maybe gold players or below)

i think the way to break the curse is to find a friend to play with.

true so true. i am trying all the time . nevertheless when i have fight i lose but they are close fight i have no problem. thus when playing with friend i ask him what i did wrong and where i can improve my rotations. with coms its more easy though

s5 i was playing mainly versus plat ppl and win most of them. s6 i took break . s7 gold will be my tier but as long the fight will be enjoyable with less afk, less ppl doing lost of mistakes or not reading team chat i will be fine with it.
