The first support ticket was probably closed due to the fact that you sent 2 tickets.
Tip: Send one (1) support ticket. Any more will only bog down the system and make it take longer for your original issue to get resolved.
Also, and Inculpatus Cedo said, submit it in tickets for review, and they’ll get to it.
On a side note, all my support tickets were received and resolved in a very quick manner. I have experienced great CS from Anet, and have great faith in their abilities and service.
I know pre-patch I could 12k+ crit lights (this might have been in wvw with some foods i dont remember too much just vague numbers) with evisc with zerker amulet. I haven’t played a/a in a long time. However, I do use evisc. This looks pretty fun. Have you tried zerkers instead? Seeing you went for physical trait Id take out stomp and do bull charge. Air/fire can be good here but I imagine its true potential is during the whirl. Maybe switch out air/fire for intel/leech (all cool kids use it :P). If you’re really ballsy you can switch out LB for GS for some more burst and mobility.
Edit: Looking at your traits – I love brawler’s recovery, but if you don’t switch out a lot can be useless but bad habit. Also, i recommend taking warrior sprint instead of vengence. AND if you really want to switch to zerker fury and take rampage
Yeah GS wouldn’t be bad in this set up, but me personally I like to have a ranged weapon on hand. Brawlers recovery would be good if you are using the GS instead of the LB. Zerkers amulet I suspect would be great in this set up as well. I went with assassins for the precision. I feel it pairs well with Axe Mastery to quickly gain the adrenaline needed.
As far as the sigils, I chose these because of the crit proc. However, if something else works better then by all means, one should use what would work best for them.
Warrior sprint is nice, but being glassy it’s easy to get downed. And if you can at least use vengance, you have a much better chance at coming back and staying in the fight. But of course, thats my particular playstyle.

Here is my Axe/Axe burst build that I’ve been playing with in PvP.
It may not exactly be meta, but I found it to be lots of fun, and can hit like a truck. I think the most damage I saw with Eviscerate was 7.5k. Not sure if this is good or not, but it certainly brings a large chunk of HP down. And you can basically spam it with little to no effort.
It may need some tweaking, but I want to know what you guys think.
My experience with it has been great. I’m not the greatest in PvP by any stretch of the imagination, but I was able to go head to head vs Mesmers, Eles, and Necros and come out ahead.
My first was was Tooth of Frostfang. Given to me as a gift from someone here on the forums.
My second, Rage, was from the forge. Tossed in 4 random rares from world bosses.
I also have run SW more times than I care to admit. I have had multiple carapace boxes, of all the armor pieces. So my guess is RNG is RNG.
At this point they are just ectos and silk in a box.
Pretty much. I’ve been tossing them in the forge. I’ve gotten 1 precursor from SW rares so far, as well as some other pretty cool exotics.
Yeah, Silverwastes is the place to go if you are looking for karma and mats.
Alternatively for karma and mats, Fractals are a great place as well. If you do 10 levels below what you are at, you can get a decent amount of karma, as well as mats.

It is kinda sad AN did this big patch to brake Zerker meta only to fail horribly
1 op condition will prolly get shafted, rest is still weak and Zerker is still equip to go…
I don’t think the patch was done to break zerker meta. There are a variety of reasons the patch was done, and I strongly suspect that it had very little, if anything at all, to do with the zerker meta.
The sad truth is that these tourneys bring out the worst in people.
You have commanders that are tapped directly into what the other commander is saying while having a blob with siege and also paying a spy to drain supply. You also have tag watchers who are directly calling out where the commander is going in ts. If that doesn’t work then you pay someone to ddos the commander. If that doesn’t work then they form guilds on other servers in order to have two servers in the same comms. Then why quit there! Just do it all the time, no tourney needed.
They just take it too far and they use it as some type of sadistic release. I think they rationalize it somehow by thinking its “just a game” but taking on the level they do says more about their character. All the while the sheep that follow them are the ones that allow the abuse to perpetuate.
And there is proof of this?
Wouldn’t that fall under “Match Manipulation”? And as such a bannable offense?
If you have concrete evidence of such things going on, then send a report to: exploits@arena.net
While I do believe there may be some “collusion” going on I don’t think its to that extent.
I think the event will be kind of fun. I suspect that the intent behind the event is more of a stress test than anything. To see how many golems can be active in a map at any given time.
But if its not your thing, now would be a good time to start buying up blueprints. They will hit a premium at the start of the event. I wouldn’t be surprised if they already started going up in price just from the announcement.
I think there is a bit of confusion over “Meta” and “Required”.
It seems that the Anti-Zerk crowd, often tends to use the terms interchangeably.
The say things along the lines of: Every posting in the LFG is zerk only. I don’t have zerk, and so I cannot ever do dungeons ever. We need to change the zerk meta because it prevents people from playing the game."I myself was anti-zerk for quite awhile. I learned to accept it. Granted only one of my 5 characters uses it. but I don’t hate on zerk because “Reasons”. I just don’t typically use it.
So the zerk meta is all about is pumping out as much damage as you can to clear content as fast as you can.
But that doesn’t mean that I MUST use bezerker gear to be able to do anything in the game. Heck I’ve done most everything (except high level fractals) in the game, including dungeons, hundreds of times on my warrior using Valk gear. Never really had a problem. I’ve even soloed dungeons with Valk gear. Its all a matter of preference and choice. If you don’t like it/want it, don’t use it. It’s that simple. But don’t expect the players to change, and Anet to change it, but for whatever reason you don’t like it.
Finally someone who gets it. I’m sorry this post will be ignored from now on though :’(

Wait a minute.
We have Mawdrey, Princess, and the Star of Gratitude.
We toss those 3 along with a stack of say, T6 mats, into the forge and gain a karka/mordrem hybrid of doom that eats bloodstone dust, dragonite ore, and empryeal fragements.
After X amount of mats have been consumed by this creature, it transforms into the next incarnation of an elder dragon!!!!
This is how the Elder Dragons came to be!!
They started as small innocent creatures, but grew and changed after consuming so much bloodstone, dragonite, and stars….
BEWARE!!!!! BEWARE!!!!!!
How many? My last chest didn’t give me too many IIRC. I’m nearing my next chest but I’m concerned that it won’t give me enough stones.
5 per chest, 10 per large chest, 15 per heavy chest and 25 per massive chest. By the time you get to 5k AP you should have around 100.
My question is do you use mystic salvage kit just for exotic and rare or for everything? Because 100 mystic stone is about 33 mystic salvage kit. When I was in farming mode at Silverwaste I was able to go througth 1 kit per week, but that was crazy time. I usually go througth 1 per months, which mean that I always have more stone than I need.
But if you salvage with them a lot, you man not receive enough stone.
I use them for everything. The extra coin from vendoring minor sigils/runes is kinda nice. Mostly I just don’t like to carry around basic kits though because they only have 25 uses. 50 uses on basics would be nice considering we do more salvaging these days compared to the old days.
Also I play on 5 different characters so moving a copper fed kit between them would not be convenient.
I also play 5 different characters. And having the copper-fed kit has been a tremendous relief. It’s not that difficult, nor time consuming to transfer it between characters. At least for me, I leave all my characters parked in LA, and move them where I need to be. So I basically I log into a character next to the bank, grab the kit, go do what I need to do, go back to LA and drop the kit and switch characters. Easy Peasy.
But I do appreciate that you have an aversion to it, but many of your problems can be solved with such a kit. If you feel that the kit isn’t worthwhile, that is your decision. But in the end you can’t complain for choosing not using a major convience tool. I suppose you have to weigh the cost of purchasing multiple basic kits/mystic kits over and over, as well as inventory managment vs. having a single item that is easily transferable and readily available.
Your “fix” seriously broke teq. Please either undo this “fix” or fix all the other problems as well.
If you can’t beat Teq without a using the guardian light field bug then it’s a l2p issue for those on your map.
No its an Anet done goofed with their broken crit box and blanket 200 hp buff. Anybody can kill Teq, but I’m not showing up and hour before the kill to “prepare” for such BS rewards that Teq drops. So basically Teq is pointless.
I think teq got much more than a 200 HP increase. In fact the total HP of teq has increased by 100% (not 200%. Double means a 100% increase.)
In any event, even with the HP increase, and without the Guardian bug, Teq is still doable. As you yourself have said. But what it comes down to is that you don’t want to put in the effort to get the rewards, and thus it is pointless.
So in the end, it’s not the HP buff, or the Guardian bug, its that you (and other similar minded players) want to be the most rewarded for as little effort as possible. And we wonder why the game is catering more towards a “casual” players……
Incorrect, effort is fine if it is rewarding. But Teq simply is not rewarding so the effort isn’t warranted.
I guess some people don’t think that +2g, several rares, a decent chance at exotics and ascended chests, as well as a ton of karma are not rewarding enough.
But this is left for another discussion as this thread is about the guardian trait beign disabled….

@Battlecat
Also some tips for using the LFG and running with random people (aka PUGS).
1.If you don’t know. ASK. Always. Period.
2.Try to do some research before going into the dungeons. Watch some walkthroughs/guides. It will make things a lot easier for everybody.
3.If the first time in a dungeon, ASK at the very start if its ok to watch the cut scenes. (see 1.)
4. Don’t join groups you are not qualified for. (aka, zerk only, 80 exp, 645K AP, etc.)
5. Starting your own LFG stating that you are new, with your own requirements, is always a good idea.
Good luck!!
Doesn’t have to be in depth. Just a simple, "you aint got no problem max, I’m on the problem, go back there and chill them pvpers out, and wait for the cavalry which will be coming directly. "
May have aged myself there with that movie quote adaptation, but there ya go.
kitten, thats all you had to say!!
thank you, I thought that was lost on everyone.
It took me a minute…but I got it.
BTW one of Tarantinos greatest works
Thank you, just wondered why clicking the map showed me various PoI’s, thinking I needed to go to them to do something.
Come to think of it, why would it keep doing that ?
Because the functionality of the map doesn’t change after you’ve gotten the key. Either they missed the bit of code that told the map not to do that anymore after the key was found, or that bit of code isn’t working as it should. Either way, I suppose they don’t see it as much of an issue, and has the lowest of the lowest priorities in getting fixed.
@OP
You still havent answered my question….
Sorry for the down time. OP is still reading. OP is still here. FYI today I lead a pug teq and finally got it killed using the guardian exploit. Even that was a gigantic pain in the kitten . And people still left after the burn failed. Once the exploit is fixed i can guarantee everyone will start failing teq again. AC is still broken as kitten. My points are validated. Noisy elitists know I am right but refuse to agree. I cannot agree.
TL;DR OP wants 100% of the game accessible to EVERYONE. Elitists, flamers, “I want challenges”, “Things are too easy”, people do not. OP doesn’t reply because he has a life outside the forums
Exactly what part of the game is inaccessible to anyone?
What is preventing you from being able to participate in any part of the game at all?
What content is “too hard” as to not allow anyone to be able to participate?
Can you give specific examples?
You are looking for the enchanted key.
You have to be almost right on top of it in order to get it.http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Enchanted_Key
Also after you’ve gotten the key, the map will still show you where to go, but you can only get the key once per account.
Yeah OK I’ve got the key, and now the map is showing me where to go, to do what when I get there ?
And the map is still sending me back to where I got the key from ??
Thats it. You got the key. As said, the map is useless now. Be sure to either equip the key or right click and add to collection. It’s part of the treasure hunter achievement.
You can sell the map, or delete it if you want.

This is the exact thing that the opponents of an expansion said would happen. People would get bored with no new content, and will complain. Then when the expansion is released they’ll burn through it and have nothing left to do for awhile. Of course the proponents of an expansion said that would never happen, and yet here we are.
Lack of content during expansion development is the price we are all paying because people wanted an expansion. You’ve all made your bed, now it’s time to lie in it.
In the meantime, as stated, there are plently of things to still do. If you are having problems with finding things to do in game, thats not Anets fault, thats your own.
Good luck!
An MMO lives and dies by how well it attracts the average gamer, not the small group of elitists. When content becomes unplayable to the average player, this is a problem with the structure of the game itself, not the player.
If a full, well-organized map can’t reliably win, this leads to the downward spiral that we see with Triple Trouble where people don’t even bother any more.
I WANT to play TT but I can’t because 90% of the time, there’s no one there. And that other 10% fails. There is absolutely nothing that I, as an individual, can do to remedy this. Anet has to fix this. Teq will quickly become this if faith isn’t restored quickly.
Teq and TT will be fine. It will take a bit to adjust. New strategies will be developed, and soon it will become an easy thing to do. Yet again. The same thing happened when the event first changed in Tequatl Rising. The same thing happened when TT was first introduced. No one knew what to do, or how to do it. IIRC it took at least a week or two for Teq, and almost as long for TT.
Shortly after the teq update the TTS (Tequatl Takedown Squad) guild was formed. And focused on how to beat it. IIRC it was the same guild that solved the Triple Trouble event and how to beat it. They will do it again. As they have before.
But I believe that part of the reason not as many people do the Triple Trouble event, is not because it’s too hard. It’s because it takes too long. There is too much coordination that needs to happen. The “average gamer” actually needs to focus and pay attention. And to many “casual” players, they would rather be doing something else. They look at the time, and the effort demanded, and think “Meh, I would rather run a few dungeons, or do a JP or something then spend 30-40 minutes doing that event.”
at OP:
Concerning dungeons and the LFG. The reason you see more groups with “Zerk only” or “80 EXP only” in the LFG is because those groups take longer to fill up then say “Any Welcome” or “Casual”. From what I gather from here on the forums, is that most people prefer an “Any welcome” group over a “zerk 80 exp 10k AP” group. In my dungeon runs, my “Any Welcome” groups fill almost instantly. And we run dungeons without any issues, and have a good time. Rarely do we get an indiviual who is being a kitten . In the end, play and let play. Don’t join groups you don’t belong in. Start your own. As for the Teq and TT events. Again, it’s just a matter of time before they once again become easy to do. “If at first you don’t suceed, try, try again.” They aren’t impossible, nor are they excluding “average” gamers. If everyone works together it can be done.
Well, I haven’t taken my warrior into PvP lately. However, for PvE I use Burst Mastery, Burst Precision, and Signet Mastery.
Burst Mastery gives +7% increased damage on burst skills (as well as adrenaline recharge), Burst Precision gives 100% crit chance, and Signet Mastery give unblockable (6s) when you hit a foe below 50% HP. (And for Signat Mastery, all you need is at least one signet, and Healing Signet is almost always equipped by default it seems, so its not something you need to worry about.)
But it does nothing if you are blinded of course. However, we do have condi removal options, so I guess you’d have to pay attention, use a removal, then hit with Eviscerate (or other burst skill), which if they are at least 50% HP become unblockable. Which people are more likely to block at that point then at the beginning of the enounter.
Don’t think this is a Learn to Play issue. The current state of sPvP just isn’t in a warriors favour at all.
I snipped for brevity.
I might have not made it clear. Its not so much as a “L2P” issue, as “We already have the tools.” Thus I don’t see how making the unblockable/immune to blind changes to burst traits needs to happen. Again, it’s been awhile since I’ve brought my warrior into PvP, and not since the patch.
I feel that those changes would be a bit over the top. It seems to me that it might “pigeon hole” people into burst builds and leave very little room for anything else. As it is, at least from a PvE standpoint, I feel that the burst traits are rather well done,. and can synergize well with some other traits to do some cool things. But a buff like that would cause other traits to be useless, and once again open the flood gates of “Lack of builds/can’t PHIY, I’m forced to play XYZ”
Thats just me though

Hi!
There are a few things like what you are describing in the game, but not many. Most of the world bosses have RNG loot, some of which are tied into collection stuff.
But with the upcoming expansion we will have that type of “quest” to gain precursor weapons to forge legendary weapons.
The “end game” for this is largely up to the player. The game was designed in such a way as to not “force” anyone into doing XYZ in order to progess. Many people actually prefer this type of system, as it allows them the freedom to do what they enjoy doing. Others prefer a “railroading” or “Hand holding” system in which the game forces certain types of play in order to “progress”.
This game may not be for everyone. And thats ok. It sounds like this game may not be for you, if you are looking for the latter type system.
But in the end, end game goals are solely up to you. There are tons of fun and awesome things to do, especially in PvE. Great little hidden events and gems found all over the world. But it’s up to you to seek them out.
My “main” Buff Badwell inspired by WWFs “Buff Bagwell”
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Buff_Bagwell
(Most of) my other characters use the “Badwell” surname. Mainly as a way to identify them as “Me” to my friends and guildmates. But also as a “Family” of sorts, although the different races make for an interesting back story for my characters and how they are connected.
Anyone remember Duke Nukem: Forever?
You know why it took 15 years to be released? Everytime a new updated engine came out, they wanted to use it and the game had to be remade from scratch.
It’s a lot more work than just “hey lets update the engine!”. If they did it now, it the midst of finishing the expansion, they would be shooting themselves in the foot. They would need to not only rewrite the entire game to work with the new engine, but scrap all the work on the expansion and start over as well.
We are talking about at least 2 years worth of work to make it happen. Longer if they continue to do updates. (i.e. LS, Holidays, etc.)
So would you rather see no updates, no content, no anything for 2+ years to have a better engine? Or have stuff to do in game? People are already upset that there is “No new content” since the announcement of the expansion. To which I can proudly say “I told you so!” We saw it coming, but were poo-pooed and ignored. And it’s only been a couple of months. Now extend that to several years. What would be the state of the game at that point? Would it be worth it? How many people will be able to justify buying a whole new machine JUST to play GW2? How many would want to?
No. Don’t update the engine. Keep it as is. If they want to make GW3, then by all means, use the better updated engine. It would be cheaper and faster to do that, then to overhaul GW2 for a better engine.
First two Evons, now two Nolls.
Thanks, the superfluous Noll was unintended and I bugged it to fix.
Wait…If the superfuous Noll was unintended, and thus fixed, that would imply that the Evon doppleganger IS intended….
DUN DUN DUN……
The plot thickens….
Well we are feeding Mawdrey II all that bloodstone dust that was confirmed to be bad for consumption and so far he hasn’t turned into a flesh eating vine of doom….yet….
But yeah, feeding dragonite to a karka can not be a good idea….
Good God that terrifying!!
I think I am going to have nightmares now…
Seriously though…she does look creepy….
I didn’t find guardian weaker…I found him a bit stronger actually. But then again I never ran any meta build, so maybe my weak mace cleric build just got better….
I think it’ll take me a bit more play time though to find out which builds are going to work now that I have more options to choose from. But as of now, I like the burst warrior traits…they are kind of awesome.
Which scraps & logs are the “kitten” ones? Have to love that filter. I can’t seem to locate any near the prices that you mentioned.
People already farm the wood nodes directly. I’m guilty of it. If there were cloth nodes, I’d grab them as well. Which would at least in theory create more supply.
I am inclined to believe that it wouldn’t necessarily create more supply. If anything it would certainly make it “easier” for people to craft ascended (which is one of the major arguments for having cloth nodes) to help reduce costs. However, once said cloth is gathered and used, it’s effectively destroyed.
If anything there would be a small trickle of cloth into the market as people gather along the way and sell what they have. The supply might increase slightly, but not so much as to make the prices come down a significant amount.
I wouldn’t imagine that a significant amount people would just farm cloth all day long just to sell. As it is people in general hate farming, and do everything to avoid it.
I too am loving it. Although I am kinda sad they removed the Tomes skills. But so far, this makes things much better. I am using mace/shield and this helps tremendously! Mace, although it hits like a truck, is super slow. Speeding up the attack speed by 50% is almost must.
If your group online is too small, you’ll need to invite friends (or pay/beg/sing-songs-to-woo peeps in Lion’s Arch!) to come with you and help you claim the guild hall to own one.
So now that we’ve been officially told to pay mercenaries to help us get a guild hall, will there be any support if we are cheated? Paid, but no service? Or paid, entered guild, cleaned out contents?
If you gave guild vault permissions to “mercenaries” then that is on you. My guild has a new recruit rank which has no permissions of any kind. As far as paid, but no service…I think it would be treated the same as dungeon selling scammers. Which, IIRC, is a punishable offence.
Colin:
What if 2 smaller guilds do the event to capture a guild hall.
Will both guilds be granted access to their own guild hall, or will the “host” guild be granted access only? Meaning that both guilds will need to do the event twice to get both guilds access.
Example:
Guild ABC with 5 members hosts the guild hall event and invited guild XYZ to help.
Does guild XYZ gain access to a guild hall upon completing the event? Or would guild XYZ need to host the event in order to gain access to a guild hall?
Thanks!
If we follow that same logic, and begin banning people for giving tips/hints on content, then they should ban people for asking for help with vistas/JPs. Such things are commonly explained through map chat. But lets not stop there. Lets also ban people for suggestion build ideas in chat, or for discussing tactics on events/bosses. Lets issue bans for organized maps of teq, where the event is commonly described, and what to do, before hand. These can be considered spoilers.
Yeah, not so much. These people aren’t breaking any of the ToS, aren’t doing anything illegal. In fact, such things are what make GW2 such a great community. They are the people willing to help. It encourages working together, to the benefit of all.
However, as said before, if you want to do it the “hardcore” way. Turn off chat, or open combat log so you won’t have to see it. But don’t punish people working together and being helpful.
We are always looking for art!
As you may or may not know, there is a group of us in the middle of putting together a GW2 tabletop RPG. And we’ll need some art at some point. (To make the rule book awesome, tokens, etc.)
This is a purely volunteer fan based game.
If you are interested, let us know!

I thought you could still get the keys in kessex hills?
Although it would be cool as a fractal…
Hmmm seems odd that they would make one change in their “preview” and then revert it.
Hopefully it was a typo, and the better formula is the one its supposed to beIt’s not, I checked in game and the latest formula is correct.
Well thats lame
So we got a heads up about the changes to condition damage awhile ago.
From that post:
•Bleeding: •The formula for this condition has been re scaled to account for this new behavior.of damaging conditions and to push more focus on the damage onto the condition damage stat.
•New damage over time: 2+(0.3*Level)+(0.075 * Condition Damage)
(https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/June-23-Specialization-Changes/first)And now it todays patch notes:
•Bleeding: •The formula for this condition has been rescaled to account for the new behavior of damaging conditions and to put more focus on the condition damage stat.
•New damage over time: 2 + (0.25 * Level) + (0.06 * Condition Damage)So it remained basically the same, but with a +2 modifier.
Was this intentional? Or was it a typo?
Can we get some clarification on this please?
Thanks! Not at all the same, one is 0.06 modifier and one is 0.075 modifier.
The original had a break even point at around 700 condition damage. The new nerfed formula has a break even point of around 2050 condition damage.
With the previous formula with 2100 condition damage you would do 183.5 dps per stack
with the new formula you do 148 dps per stack, or a 20% nerf.
What I meant with “the same”, is as it was pre-patch.
I read the wrong thread before, and made a mistake.
pre-patch condi damage:
.025*lvl +.06*condi damage
Post-patch: 2 + .025*lvl + .06*condition damage.
But my point, and request for clarification remains the same.
Is it intentially different in the “preview” thread as it is in the patchnotes, or was it a mistake.

So, as far as bleeding goes, the formula is the same as before, except a fixed “+2” per tick.
Before: 0.25*lvl + 0.06*condi dmg
Now: 2 + 0.25*lvl + 0.06*condi dmgCorrection:
Before: 0.25*lvl + 0.06*condi damage
Now: 2+(0.3*Level)+(0.075 * Condition Damage)so a +.05 increase in the level modifier and a +.015 increase in condition damage modifier. As well as a +2 increase in the base damage.
That was what we were hoping for. The actual changes just added a +2, and reverted the scaling to 0.06
Hmmm seems odd that they would make one change in their “preview” and then revert it.
Hopefully it was a typo, and the better formula is the one its supposed to be
Where are you getting that bleed formula? The dev post here:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/June-23-Specialization-Changes/first
Says it’s .075+26. That’s only 220 condi damage to break even.
Check the patch notes for today.
Indeed. The new one is 22+0.06*cdmg
break even point is 2050cdmg.
Where are you getting this number?
From what I can tell in the patch notes the new damage is: 2+(0.3*Level)+(0.075 * Condition Damage)
Where are you getting the .006*cd? and at level 80 it becomes 26 not 22….
so it would be 26 + .075*cd
not 22 + .06*cd
So, as far as bleeding goes, the formula is the same as before, except a fixed “+2” per tick.
Before: 0.25*lvl + 0.06*condi dmg
Now: 2 + 0.25*lvl + 0.06*condi dmg
Correction:
Before: 0.25*lvl + 0.06*condi damage
Now: 2+(0.3*Level)+(0.075 * Condition Damage)
so a +.05 increase in the level modifier and a +.015 increase in condition damage modifier. As well as a +2 increase in the base damage.
Condi necros don’t think so…
I’ll hold my comments on it until I actually have a chance to play it though.
Have they released the new wallet yet?
I thought it was coming with this next patch…has the patch been released?
Just want to clarify since I saw this come up a couple of times in this thread and we haven’t actually released our full official patch notes for 6/23 yet….
Ascended Gear will be staying 5% better than Exotic Gear. Gear beyond the tiers we already have are not going to be added and our existing tiers won’t change, they won’t be our main end-game form of progression for your characters/account for all the reasons we’ve covered before – it isn’t what we think Gw2 is about.
Masteries is being added to PvE to help provide this system as our form of progression for PvE moving forward, and the WvW ability system exists for WvW and will be what we use to expand WvW in the future.
To more directly answer some of your point….We are adding a system that lets you change the stats for your ascended gear (weapons and armor) next Tuesday – which will cost a combination of 10 spirit shards, piece you don’t want anymore, 5 ectos, and an exotic insignia of the stats you want to convert to. Legendary Gear will remain the gear that can freely change stats any time.

(Edited to clarify weapons and armor)
