You guys don’t need to act like this every time someone doesn’t have there settings cranked up.
there is a big difference between not having your settings cranked up and having them so low they look worse than GW1
This is one of those things where, not only am I impressed that he got up on top of the Asura gate, I’m impressed he can actually make the graphics look that awful. That is an achievement.

‘In the future, you’ll see certain types of content that was part of larger story experiences be updated to work within the fractals dungeon and return there where it makes sense to do so. Of course, the specific rewards and achievements will not return since those are intended to be completed as the story unfolds, but the content itself will be used to expand out our fractals experience and serve as a place to continue to experience great (and strange) moments in history.’ – Colin Johanson
‘Any updates to the fractals will need to include additional update to the reward systems as well, agreed.’ -Colin Johanson.
Well well well. dungeon information. In the living story area of the forums. I’ll be kittened.

Second, who was the brilliant mind behind setting effigies on fire by dancing? How exactly does that work? Are we droppin’ it like it was hot, only literally? Is this some ancient Sylvari magic that causes wood to combust through a formerly secretly ritual? (and yes, I’m intentionally putting ancient and Sylvari together because it makes as much sense as anything else to do with effigies.)
Disco Inferno!
The dance is a secret summoning.

Tired of these events, they are fun but only for about 10 mins, then the novelty wears off, the RNG and monotonous F spamming achievements set in and I’m bored again. I would rather they didn’t add them, and just left the game alone so they could pour all their resources into getting an expansion out sooner.
Just my opinion, still gotta hand it to them, the voice acting, and the graphics and changes to LA and everything, it’s a lot of effort on their part, and it’s nice to see they care, even if they ignore alot of the posts on forums… especially in the dungeons section. It’s a pity that it’s not working out so well, especially given the RNG cash shop stuff which is leaving a bad taste in people’s mouths. I get the feeling NC Soft has the final say on cash shop additions, it doesn’t seem like Anet philosophy in that area.
-Swiftpaw Sharpclaw [DnT]-
Beware, beware, the fanboys comes.
But yes, pretty stupid but at least we don’t have to run like idiots to beat other players.
This should be made into a song, with a Christmas theme to it… that I can play in every thread that doesn’t support what Anet does.

Your group should be grouping up mobs and cleaving them. Rangers have single target dps which adds little value in that scenario which consists of half or more of a dungeon.
Thats so wrong…
Piercing shots trait is the most important ranger trait, bar none.also longbow 5, greatsword 1 2 3.
I wont comment on other ranger weapons because I havent used them in a long time.My ranger does excellent aoe damage. I prefer when mobs get clumped up. All those numbers from a quickening zephyr + rapid fire through a crowd… so nice.
Not only that but drake cleaves, sword cleaves, greatsword cleaves, axe cleaves, torch is aoe, offhand axe cleaves AND reflects at the same time. What in the kitten is obal talking about?
I’ve already explained this. About 95% of rangers I’ve gone in dungeon with from pugging or a friend brings a friend/guildy use nothing but a bow.
Even if they used the piercing trait why would you range a mob that’s grouped up? The damage is poor and it still doesn’t cleave and will hit less enemies than someone meleeing. Even if they were to use an underwhelming melee/cleave weapon they are an underwhelming class compared to the rest. Their utility value is among the lowest and their dps is nothing to defend compared to other classes with the same spec. They specialize in nothing and offer nothing to the group other than healing fields and the pet can help res if it’s not dead which no one should need since rallying off good dps is far better for reviving and everyone can heal themselves. If you want to melee go try playing a berserker warrior and see the difference in dps and utility or really any other useful class. I can’t help that there is a large imbalance in pve, but Rangers fall at the bottom and it’s the truth at this point in the game.
I’m not in disagreement to your overall sentiment Obal. But, as for the why would you range attack when they are grouped up with piercing arrows? Full glass cannon ranger can do up to 15k shots, (usually it ranges from around 9k-15k) with Rapid fire x10 which is made into aoe, add into that, the vulnerability from opening strike + Hunters shot (+15 stack vulnerability aoe), it’s not bad compared to the other abysmal options you have as a ranger. I tend to hit more mobs with piercing arrows on LB than I do with Greatsword as long as I line em up correctly. I think LB is fine pairing with a melee weapon for dungeons, so long as you get Rapid fire, barrage and Hunter’s shot off then gtfo that weapon and back to business with your melee option. Btw quickness got a nerf, QZ is depressing and quickness on pet swap is not even worth traiting anymore so you’re really pushing it.
And yes, ranger dps in melee is such a joke compared to the other classes it’s depressing. I love the class, it’s fun, and I spent 600+ hours trying to make it work in dungeons, but you just can’t talk around the fact that you can do so much more for your team on any other class. It’s just acceptable, a fill in and nothing more, even if you work yourself to the bone, and mediocre and downright awful if you are a poor player bipping away in the back with your bear pet and shortbow (majority of pugs). Your strongest point utility wise is aoe immobilizes and cripples and a healing/water field. And most teams don’t need that. Nice to have.. but not needed.

-Swiftpaw Sharpclaw [DnT]-
I believe it is a good system, since the normal coffers drop all the time and from everything, so you get a lot of chances to drop the ticket.
Maybe they should let we buy tickets with Jorbreakers, too. That would make a lot of people happy and would put all these Zhaitaffies that I can’t even hold to a good use.I agree. I preferr this system over just locking the tickets in the chest being only purchasable through the cash shop. I am able to collect about 100 chests per day just leveling my warrior up. So far I have been able to collect 3 tickets from the regular coffers. Probably close to 2000 opened so far. I also got 2 tickets from rich coffers but that cost me quite a bit for those 2 with nothing out of the first 75 and then the 2 came in the last 25. But again that was my choice to buy them to begin with
Of course people like you will like this system because you’ve actually seen tickets if you opened all those coffers and did not see a ticket i highly doubt you would be saying you enjoy it
Yes I have been one of the lucky ones. However, even if I did not receive a ticket, I still like this setup better. The coffers drop often and I know I have a chance on everyone to be able to get a ticket. RNG is RNG, there is nothing you can do about it. Every game has RNG. Everytime you kill something RNG determines what you receive as loot. No difference from GW1 or WoW when having to run a dungeon or raid a zillion times to get that one drop that you want.
Those games also have way more skins to obtain and work towards, and their pve endgame doesn’t rely so heavily on skins. This game is getting real stale real fast. That’s why people are going crazy about every little morsel they give us. New skins? omg finally! Oh crappy rng treadmill.. /sigh

Natural selection should hopefully mean that these people don’t go much higher than lvl 16.. Unfortunately this often isn’t the case because they get carried to the high levels and kitten on everyone up there and still think they are boss beetch. Just you wait till you’re doing your 48 daily and some idiot’s running around yelling at everyone in his magic find /pvt set or camping ranged only weapons, pulling kitten out of aoe.. or killing the wrong mobs at seal. Perhaps the reason there’s no LFG system in game is because they knew pugging would drive people insane.
In your situation, I would have just gone with whatever the majority wanted. They have a bad attitude, but if you defy mob rule, that’s what’s expected. Sometimes a foreign tactic, may actually be better than what yours is.. So I always give it a chance, and if it fails, well that’s their fault, not yours. If it works, you learnt something new, and you didn’t kitten anyone off in the process. I’ve been on both situations. I’ve had people completely ignore the rest of the party and go off and do their own thing because they think it’s better, and I tell you what it really kitten es me off, especially when they fail or lead to a party wipe. Then I’ve seen people try stacking tactics on certain mobs where it’s a bad idea to do so or not stack in places where it would be a good idea to do so, and wipe, and I’ve been ignored when making the suggestion to try something else. However, eventually after a few wipes, they try something else.

It’s a little more difficult than other classes but still do-able. Greatsword is your friend because of the blocks and leap.
-Swiftpaw Sharpclaw [DnT]-
And misuse of the terms ‘quantitative’ and ‘qualitative’ are also the mark of an ignorant player.
Rangers can output quite high dps, as can most classes. They can’t match a full glass cannon warrior—no-one can do that other than by using projectile reflects—but they can still provide a very appreciable amount of damage while remaining safer at a large range than warriors can do.
Sorry to hurt your ranger feewings, but me making a typo doesn’t change how badly they suck compared to real DPS classes. And again, my scientifically accurate assessment is that the ranger class attracts the worst players in the game, period.
I played ranger for ages. 600+ hours. It was the most depressing class I have ever played in a dungeon. As fun as it is, you work 10x harder to pump out subpar dps and crappy group utility. Pls don’t say I’m a bad player though, I realized it for what it was. It’s the people who stay on their rangers, and lie to themselves about their effectiveness that I would bring into question.

I’m disappointed that Anet thinks a money sinks, some skins, and grinding achievements, are passable as content..
The skins are decent. Most I think are ugly, but that’s why there are already plenty of skins in the game for different options for different players, so I won’t complain about the skins…except it is ridiculous that it’s complete RNG and luck in order to get these skins.
Then the achievements…like 100 fireworks and 150 pinatas…how are those fun? Running through LA to hit “F” a 250 times on multiple characters or multiple times a day? This is not the excitement or content that I saw in GW1, and definitely did not expect from GW2. All of the content releases so far, with FotM as an exclusion, have been mediocre and, for the most part, temporary.
It seems to be all about the gem store and making money, now….much greedier Anet than the Anet I knew from GW1.
i have 6 weapons and about 12 hours spent. dont spend ur money u morons. i dont get why if there is an option to grind and an option to spend money u spend money then complain. kittening idiots.
Not everyone is as lucky as you. Some people are up to 9000 coffers no ticket.
I’m up to 3000 which took me around 30 hours, decided not to pursue it further, but wish I hadn’t lied to myself and thought that the harder I worked for it, the more likely I’d get it lol. The problem is that it doesn’t matter how much time you put in, you can still end up with nothing due to rng.
I agree, I am also disappointed in A-Net, this isn’t the A-Net I knew from GW1, this is the A-Net that is held by the kittens by NC-soft. At least at this point in time, it is just skins, and not gear stats or dungeon cooldown keys.
-Swiftpaw Sharpclaw [DnT]-
I think I disillusioned myself into thinking that the reason A-Net was doing these events was to keep people playing the game. How silly of me! They are doing this to make money.

First run of P1 hotw. Pug guard is crap/no virtues, warrior also camping rifle. Necro running all minions. I asked why, he said because they give poison when they die.
They told us off for meleeing the boss at the end.. even through we didn’t get downed once. Then complained that his HP bar was too big and taking too long lol /irony.
We’re like whatever, I got a divinity rune armor from the chest so was happy to go again with these bumbling idiots for P2. We load in, guard switched to his warrior. It’s 5 signets. I was like oh come on…But didnt say anything. My bf asked him if he was srs. He was like ’It’s how i wanna play, you cant tell me otherwise.’ The rifle camping warrior was like " are you guys serious!? let him play how he wants!’ I told him it was not the best for team play. He ignored me. We both laughed and then left before starting the next path.
All were around 5k achieves. Sad pug day.

Pugs?
No magic find.
Exotic gear set. Or at least rare if you are a new player. (not hard to get)
If inexperienced, listen to instruction/ inform party when you need instruction on what to do. I find most people are happy enough to explain and help you out, if they aren’t well, they aren’t worth grouping with anyway.
If you are high AP, and experienced, do not waste anyone’s time running PVT gear.
Don’t camp ranged entire dungeon.
Don’t run bullkitten special snowflake builds, full signets, rifle/bow camping, scepter camping, condition guardians, useless racial skills and mistfire wolves etc.
Place combo fields on allies, I’m looking at you, ranger with the healing spring right in the back where no one can combo it.
Use blast finishers accordingly. I am shocked by the amount of people, who when given a water field and need health do not blast finisher it even when they have the weapon skills at hand to do so.
If you are switching at the end, let people know. Please. I don’t mind. Just for the love all things sacred, don’t open the instance.
Be nice. Always treat your team how you would want to be treated. Kindness and understanding goes a long way.
Think that covers everything.

Reduce amount of spiders to give the average party a time window to hit the boss between mob respawns imo. Respawns should also take longer.
I don’t think it’s the intent of the encounter that you clear the spiders. You need to kite them.
They should perhaps reduce the groups a bit, but for once it’s nice to see an encounter in an explorable where you just can’t sit and melee the boss to death.
True, I’m just so used to killing them XD. Do they drop loot? I don’t even recall. I think if they’re not dropping loot then that’s most likely. I guess I just assumed the idea was (with such a redic amount of spiders) that you needed to kill em off. Atm I can only kite them on my ele while the dead team watch me kill the tree which is just painful, the other classes have trouble keeping up, either due to speed or lack of condi rem so I figured the spiders just need to die lol.
-Swiftpaw Sharpclaw [DnT]-
Shield of avenger, wall of reflect, stability skills, feelback, swirling winds… any projectile stoppers, aegises.
All melee them down, no one sit back at range. Stick together as a group and melee with your projectile stoppers in front of you then move to the next as a team. When ur all together, you know exactly where those KB balls are gonna land, and you’ll be ready.
Oh yeh, (was tired earlier and didn’t read op properly XD) if you want to just run through them, usually 2 guards can chain aegis and stability as you run, if they have maces, they can block an extra attack as they run (Protector’s strike) so long as everyone runs withing the guard’s little bubble, and a shield they can use to stop and block if they run out of cooldowns. One of the ways I’ve done it, but it was ages ago not sure if it’s been changed up.
-Swiftpaw Sharpclaw [DnT]-
(edited by swiftpaw.6397)
The dungeons are easy, and that’s part of the problem, people waltz in with their magic find sets, sit at range, run full signets and drag out the run nice slow and painful. And you cant even prevent these people entering your group, because you cannot know until you’re in and killing things. You just have to hope they are doing the right thing and when they aren’t, kick/block them and find another on the lfg and hope they aren’t just as selfish, wasting your time, and theirs.
Then of course you get the everyday stupid, the people who swap at the end, forgetting they opened the instance and kicking everyone out, the people who ignore basic instructions and screw over the team repeatedly, the people who swear and cuss everyone out for not doing it ‘their way.’
My advice to OP. Build up a friends list of players, pug it out and put up with the good and the bad, then friend all the people that do the right thing. Soon you will have enough on your list to avoid the mystery bag of gw2lfg.com all together. I put the name of the dungeon I encountered them in as the nickname to each person’s name, so when I need a COE (crucible of eternity), I type COE into my friends list, and all the COE players I’ve gone with pop up. Always make sure you open the dungeon when possible, this way you avoid bad players holding you at ransom because you cannot kick them without closing the instance.
Also- Anet’s not going to make these dungeons soloable so don’t hold your breath on that. They cant even fix them as they are now.
-Swiftpaw Sharpclaw [DnT]-

People have been saying this kitten for months, that the game revolves around killing enemies faster than they can kill you.
This^. Offensive utility exists. It’s why a LH ele can only reach his maximum efficiency in a group who provide the fury and might to him.
-Swiftpaw Sharpclaw [DnT]-
Skins are endgame for alot of people. Especially the hardcores that have grinded out countless dungeons and have nothing to work for other than legendaries. It is a pity that these skins are only available through RNG/luck and not through hard work. It’s fractals all over again, except this time you have the option to roll the dice with your real money as well. I would be fine with this if there were a myriad of skins to work towards, but outside of legendaries and the joke rng fotm weapons there is nothing. Dungeon armour and wep skins can be attained in a matter of days and are well and truly outdated. Once you have your legendary and all the gear sets you need (not hard), you are left wondering what to do next. Make another legendary? omg how exciting!
Personally as much as I love the game, I am very inclined to stop playing until they add some real content. Dungeons/raids what have you, with skin rewards that depend entirely on your efforts and skills completing them. These living story events are a mix of crappy hand outs for people who expect something for nothing and RNG luck, and after the initial ‘omg something new!’ excitement, everyone’s bored again.
I suppose this is why people are getting so caught up about the RNG skins atm. I went through a good deal of chests but it seems I’m just not one of the lucky ones. I was really rooting for the staff. XD. Good luck to you all ^.^

Making this thread wise fwom it’s gwave so I can vent about the Ranger who was just in my 38 fractal who:
-was running shortbow/wrongbow with drake/lynx
-didn’t know you had to stay in shadow refuge until the duration is over
-was constantly downed
-didn’t understand that the NPCs in Ascalon needed to be pulled up so they engage the groups we pull
-left their pet dead almost the entire time
-let their pet run up and aggro dredge on the wrong side of the clown car instead of having them be pulled back behind it
-was constantly downed
-couldn’t make jumps on the Maw
-got hit by almost every tentacle attack and laser beam
-was constantly downedAfter 3 minutes it was apparent they were total kitten, but before voting to kick I asked who created the fractal. It was the ranger. :/
Rangers are the worst players in the game, bar none.
P.S. Of course the ranger got a fractal weapon skin from the chest. No one else did.
Of course he did. Only the most prestigious players get the most prestigious weapons. Fractal weapons are the only prestigious weapons in the game you know. Getting them isn’t about rng or luck, it’s about hard work, skill, and dedication to the content!
/sarcasm off
/maniacal laughter.

No Dev response. Surprise.
I’m not sure about guard but on my ele, because I have so much condi rem it was doable, along with a signet+ run speed and swiftness from attune swaps, with the kite around the tree thing. But that is no way that a dungeon should be done. It’s shameful.
This change sounds like someone REALLY loved the previous version of CoF p2 so they stuck it into another dungeon.
I get this feeling it was one of those ‘fixes’ that they never ‘Tested.’
You know, the ones where they freak out because the boss isn’t being killed the way they want, so they just ‘fix’ it quickly, without bothering to see if it’s even do-able after.
so this is the way its meant to be done then…
Yep. Soloing TA on my ele from now on, seeing as pugs cant do it.

I just really want a god mode button.
God Mode Button- [Elite] Transform into a thief for 60 seconds. 120 second cooldown.
-Swiftpaw Sharpclaw [DnT]-
My stats:
I opened about 600 and got one ticket. After I got my ticket I’ve been giving all of my regular coffers to my husband, and our guild has donated some too.
He’s at ~3100 regular coffers opened. nearly 30 holo dragon knights, enough taffy to kill Abbadon, potions and food. and Not.One.Single.Weapon.Ticket.
We will be continuing to battle the evil RNG Dragon tomorrow. Wish us luck.
And he opened another 500 this morning. No ticket. He’s disgusted with this and has downloaded RIFT.
Oh god don’t go to rift…
I’ve been beta testing the new FF reborn and it’s waaaaay better. I might be going there on full release, I was quite impressed, especially given my reservations about the last pile of kitten they released. I think it may be pay to play though At least rift will be free.
At least rift will be free.
Running out of things to do in GW2, but it’ll be there for the casual player, and for when I need my fix hah. I’m over the rng aspect of skins, which are the only reason I (personally) play.
-Swiftpaw Sharpclaw [DnT]-
are saying Firey GS does more dmg on alpha than LH? or are you using up charges on LH that fast? :o
Fiery Greatsword has the potential to do 100k+ burst on a 10s cooldown. With a 25-45k whirl on an 5s cooldown, and a 12-15k autoattack. The only bad part about the autoattack is that it roots you and you have to hit esc in the middle of it if you don’t want to die due to Alpha.
Oh kitten I didn’t think of the whirl -.- yeh that kitten would be great there seeing as he’s in a corner.
-Swiftpaw Sharpclaw [DnT]-
When I do COE, it’s 3 war/1 mes/1 guard or 4 war/1 guard or 5 war. How does LH ele go? considering replacing 1 war with LH ele as it (supposedly?) has higher single target dps? I specced my ele out for it but was missing a few things, the food and scholar runes (was running full ruby because I’m cheap) , and sigil also missing. Think I need to follow the build up to the minute detail to compete.
Make sure you’re in water attunement, because that’s like 20% damage you’re missing if you’re not.
And it really does some insane damage honestly, especially through Fiery Greatsword on the Subject Alpha fights. A good end-of-path alpha fight should take 20-30 seconds. A slow kill is usually kitten -ish.
As for the LH: once everyone is stacked in might and the foes have their vulnerability, you should be hitting 6k-6k-10k at a minimum, while 8k-8k-12k is what you’re aiming for, sometimes you get like 10k-10k-16k, but those are a lot rarer.
Yeh been keeping the water attune going. I think half the problem is I’ve only tested it so far in pugs and they dont provide the might/fury uptimes required to get the most out of it. I think I can maintain the LH uptime the whole time, it’s 50 charges between 2 hammers traited which should be enough time for CD to be up, are saying Firey GS does more dmg on alpha than LH? or are you using up charges on LH that fast? :o
-Swiftpaw Sharpclaw [DnT]-
You’re really preaching to the choir here…
We run an LH ele in our CoE runs standard, because the added DPS you get during Alpha fights and the hammer pumps some good damage on its own as well.
Not to mention, most of us run a DPS guardian as well, so you’re not that unique honestly.
I’d just like to know how your ele heals your party on each hit.. Because I’ve never seen that yet.
When I do COE, it’s 3 war/1 mes/1 guard or 4 war/1 guard or 5 war. How does LH ele go? considering replacing 1 war with LH ele as it (supposedly?) has higher single target dps? I figured, it doesn’t take critical hits or damage (correct me if I’m wrong), so I put on a PVT set.
Kite spiders around, pop invulnerability, projectile stoppers when you run into kitten. DPS as you run. Slow and boring but at least you can finish it lol.

They changed this today? So what’s the solution? I noticed they changed up a part in hotw Part 1 without saying anything too.

If you’re spending 5 minutes finding specific kinds of people, making them all link gear and then hemming and hawing over minutia like sigil choices in hopes to shave 4 minutes off your run, it’s not really about efficiency.
Also, it’s not like this is the first time somebody’s tried the “Don’t call me Elitist, I’m just obeying the meta!” angle. Elitism is a derogatory word for an attitude problem, not any particular level of Meta participation or discussion. If you’re getting called it, it’s time to dial back on the rude and the forum-speak. It’s very easy to lose sight of this fact when you’re on them, but very few people within any MMORPG’s population ever comes to any forums, so it’s important that when you’re in the game interacting with others you don’t take forum-knowledge for granted in your fellow player.
As a professional scumbag elitist, I would like to take the time to say I am a very nice, kind and respectable individual.
Now, as for taking the time to find people to shave time off your runs.. when you are doing the runs for say, 3 hours, and you save 4 minutes or so each run.. it adds up and will save you time in the long run yes?

Since I’ve done around 2500 now, no ticket, I’m wondering when’s the best time to cut my losses and just sell them instead of opening while I farm, they are still decent money.
But I think the issue I’m encountering is that I keep thinking ‘well, I’ve gone this far, just gotta keep going right.’ That’s probably a very bad gambling addict mentality lol XD
I think if I had to look at this rationally, I would say that it doesn’t matter how many I open, rng is rng.. but emotionally I just think that cumulatively, if I just work my kitten off, eventually I’ll get a ticket lol.
It’s a tough call because I really have a goal set out and it will be a shame if I don’t achieve it because RNG doesn’t work out for me, or because I gave up, never knowing if that next coffer was ‘the one’. Ah the angst, but I think I will end up sticking with opening them knowing me haha.

I’m actually surprised these people that are always labeling others ‘elitists’ in these forums, are not jumping on this thread in outrage. Particularly the ones in the COF farm threads.
Come on guys, Scumbag elitist Swiftpaw is waiting for you.

-Drops from every mob in the world.
-Given from every mini-game in the event.
-Drops multiple times from holograms in every zone.
-Can purchase additional chests from gem store. And people STILL complain. What a bunch of crybaby whiners, seriously. If it’s not a handout to every casual tryhard then all of a sudden it’s the worst thing ever invented.. give me a break.
Let me know how 6000 or so just appeared in your inventory with little to no effort, because some people are around that many and still no ticket. That’s alot of time and money on their part.
Listen to what you’re saying. People have opened 6000 coffers… THREE DAYS INTO THE EVENT. You have an entire MONTH.
“Waaaaaah I farmed all day and didn’t get what I wanted immediately!” Or is it something like “I was stupid enough to buy coffers in bulk at their peak price and was not rewarded for my stupidity!”
I love that assumption, unfortunately, not all of us have the luxury of a month. We have real lives to go to, I for one start work on Tuesday which is full time 5 days a week, and on my weekends I attend another job for those two days.
Sounds like you don’t really have time to be playing the game. That’s too bad. Why does that mean you should just get a thing? No MMO will ever, nor should ever, be designed to accomodate those small few who don’t actually have enough time to play it. If you don’t understand why that is, or feel that isn’t how it should be, then I really can’t help you.
Another assumption. I do not expect to just ‘get a thing’ I am explaining why I and many others are grinding non stop since event has started. I find it kinda sad and also rather detestable that you would lump hard working individuals into this ‘ungrateful and expect everything for nothing boat.’
You work hard, for your livelihood, I assume. I can’t imagine you would be doing it because you find it fun or amusing, since you obviously a fun and amusing game you would like to be playing. Since you are working for your livelihood you don’t have time to work for your prizes ingame. Since you don’t have time for it, you are posting here in a complaint thread, in favor of the complaint, therefore complaining yourself. You are complaining about the fairness of not being able to acquire a prize with extreme time constraints on your side.
How are you not lumped into the wanting something for nothing category. You are a hardworking individual, that is obvious, but it also has nothing to do with anything where getting a prize in the game is concerned. You don’t deserve it just because you want it, and you don’t have the time to go out and get it. The obvious answer is that it is fair that you may not get it at all.
I work 40 hours a week. I do, however have weekends off. I don’t play the game all day on the weekends though, so my time is limited, even if not as much as yours. In my case I’m choosing for it to be limited while you’re not, but it’s still limited. I can accept that if I don’t play the game enough I may not get it, by choice or otherwise. Why can’t you?
blah blah blah
I enjoy reading the forums. I post on many threads. Big surprise to you I’m sure.
I have simply stated why it is that I and many others are grinding non stop. That is a simple fact, not an opinion, not a complaint and not an argument of any kind. The person before me, asked why I and others would grind straight off the bat, he was complaining about it, he think’s I and many others are crazy. I have supplied an answer. You then go ahead and make the assumption that this is some kind of complaint, because to you, anything that isn’t in outright support of something is indeed a complaint. I don’t really care for your 40 hour week, nor do I care about how you think you can do everything or make time. I don’t care for your standards. And I don’t care to share with you my personal life, or how many more hours I am working than you. These things do not really matter, as I don’t care for your petty argument. I have stated why, I am grinding it out now, it is an answer to a question.
- I can accept that if I don’t play the game enough I may not get it, by choice or otherwise. Why can’t you?*
How am I not accepting that? Where did I say I deserve to be handed something?
I believe in hard work to achieve something. There you go. Shock and horror. That is why in the time I do have, I will grind non-stop.
