When I looked at the link on how to make it that was my first reaction as well. This game was supposed to be different in that aspect. I was never to have to step into another dungeon again! And here we are a year later right?

Strong Mobs vs Numerous Mobs.

This has been an issue in ever mmo I’ve ever played and a few I’m playing still today.

There’s no easy solution to this problem and some games make numerous while others make harder mobs. They are doing the best they can with this one. I know I’ve been a critic about many of the other problems that they’ve let slide that have easy solutions found in multiple other titles but this isn’t one of them honestly. It’s just something every game has to balance over time and try to improve but no one’s really made a breakthru on it yet.

The #1 button spam game

Alot of people have commented on this problem with the combat system in PVE and yes we know that Colin has said they will be adding new skills to the mix and new weapons in the future but will that actually solve the problem?

Unless they change the fundamental way in which the other skills work I don’t see the #1 spam going anywhere anytime soon.

In the engineer forum there’s been talk in the past about increasing the damage of the #2-5 skills and utility skills so that they make a huge difference compared to the #1 slot, improving the combination of skill uses would greatly improve the combat in this or any other game. Conditions as combinations just don’t cut it and the system of AOE fields was a great idea but is hardly impressive when it comes to damage output in the end.

Also the problem with pets is that even before their nerf on rangers there’s no real damage benefit from them. There should be options built into the master and grandmaster traits that while improving overall skills with pets it also improve the pets damage and pet immunity to AOE damage tremendously. That way pet heavy builds would be useful again. (this would be true for turrets, pets and summons improving the three classes that benefit from these the most) Other games have had solutions for these same problems for a long long time and then made adjustments for newly discovered imbalances later.

Timing is everything as well, some classes #1 skills are on a large delay while others are really quick, I can see this being okay if the other skills on those same weapons weren’t gimpt in the damage department.

Something strange happened after GW2 decided to bring back gear progression, I realized that if the game is shifting towards gear and gear strength well we have a 10 ton gorilla MMO called WoW that not only has gear progression but raids and dungeons joined via a simple tool that are easy and friendly to use….

GW2 main selling point to me was NO gear progression, whether they said it or not it was implied….So now GW2 feels like a TRUE Korean grind fest MMO with TRUE gear progression…

Thank you from Blizzard.

Which begs the question. If GW2 has the same gear progression as other games does it really have it’s innovation intact? How exactly is it better? That’s what I’ve been asking myself.

Sure they have an open world and some events are enjoyable to a degree but have they damaged this part of the game so much that it’s no longer overall better than the other games out there?

I’d say yes they have damaged it. It’s not beyond repair but while they are revamping the major world boss mechanics they also need to take a look at the lack of diversity lack of even the Arenanet trinity in PVE builds, the mechanics used on champion level bosses and why they make CC and condition damage builds completely useless, the lack of a pure support role, and the rewards imbalance between doing WvW/Dungeons compared to doing open world boss fights even under their new system.

Basically other than logging in and doing one’s daily and grinding (which I know most people hate and thought buying this game would remove that factor) there really isn’t much more to the game. People also tend to make the false impression that this game is casual, it’s so nowhere near casual, it’s more relaxed than the rest I’ll give you that but not casual. Themepark grind would be more appropriate.

As far as rewards yeah they definitely need to step up the rewards we get in the open world because it’s insulting at the very least that the open world events once again get the short end of the stick for necessary improvement farming while doing things that people didn’t originally buy this game to do (fractals/dungeon farming) get more (and WvW) it should be equal across the board or nothing at all!

You mean the rewards for doing regular open world content, like solo events and such because the open world in general (bosses – champions) is by FAR (so far that is not even funny) more profitable in any way than any dungeon. Fractals has been a joke reward-wise since release, the only reason to run fractals is to get the Rings (now you can get them with laurels too) and the fractal skins. Fractals was NEVER worth the time and effort compared to open world PVE for gold or any other reward. After the Champion loot update it became far worse, dungeons and fractals are nearly pointless now, just zerging around farming champions or killing some world jokes will get you far more profit than running any dungeon (same time frame).

WvW is still a joke reward-wise… seriously, even running random PVE events is more profitable.

the 25 dungeon runs vs 75 open world bosses would like to have a word with you. WvW is just as bad as those figures.

I agree with you there. 10fps is a problem for some of us who don’t have crap computers also in this title and ONLY in this title. I play all other games none of which ever had culling and all of which are on very high or ultra all the time.

The loot problem has been there since November of last year, somehow someone made an adjustment to the number of unidentified dyes and it completely barfed the whole system up.

I would suggest looking at the suggestions made about combat problems in PVE with bosses and the sheer lack of diversity and the lack of the Arenanet Trinity as part of the problems when dealing with the length of these dungeons. I think making everyone pretty much a burst zerker dps build has caused the problem of making bosses with enormous amounts of hitpoints because CC condition damage and support pretty much doesn’t exist in PVE in this title at ALL. Also, there’s the aspect of instakill bosses and bosses that don’t even show a casting cycle when putting out some devastating skill that seem to make things worse!

tl;dr — We’re not even paying subscription fees! Why are people complaining about content in a (after you pay a flat price) free game?

Some people’s kids..

I’ve spent about 150€ on the game box and gem store so far.

So can I complain now?

Exactly my thoughts as well. He sounded reasonable until he said the word “kids” and that totally blew it. I think he’s probably in his twenties and that’s being generous.

The thing that gets me is it’s not that it’s not fun to play, it’s not that it’s not a beautiful game with lots of potential. It’s the misdirections we’ve had to deal with, the dishonesty, the not receiving the things we were originally promised in this product.

And sure they’ve apologized in an unofficial interview with no marketing to bring this to the customer’s attention however, when they apologize to try to win back the trust of those of us they’ve disappointed and then turn about to continue down the same exact path they were on before the first time a disappointment was released, that doesn’t exactly give us any choice but to complain about that behavior.

Case in point, “Play how you want to play”, yet dungeons and WvW give significantly MORE of the ascended materials than the open world events do. They can’t blame that cutoff on the bots this time.

See my point?

Is GW2 meant to appeal to only casuals?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: tigirius.9014

No it’s not. Don’t confuse the term casual with the term relaxed. It has a relaxed atmosphere compared to the other games out there.

Casual is where people are given alternative activities that neither make or break the game. Things that are not important to the overall story or the lore but are fun alternative activities. This game is severely lacking in that department when compared to other games both subbed and nonsubbed.

How GW2 Appeals To The 'Casual Kid' In Us

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: tigirius.9014

tigirius.9014

I dislike the TC’s usage of the terms “casual” and “kid” and what’s appealing to them. It’s rather demeaning. For instance, my little brother plays Pokemon, a game that in where the problem solving mechanics and progression are far more demanding, but he won’t touch Guild Wars 2.

I too find it demeaning and completely wrong on many counts. I posted a thread on all the ways it DOESN’T appeal to the casual crowd complete with a list of all of the gameplay modes that most MMO players who aren’t heavy PVE/PVP gamers would normally use.

Missing are things like heavy housing, heavy cosmetics, fishing hunting game, farming games, collecting artifacts, collecting pets, taming care and feeding of pets, mount collection to just name a few. These activities would be considered casual. What he’s talking about isn’t casual it’s simply relaxed compared to other titles.

People often confuse relaxed with casual. Casual is playing to enjoy the game with rewards that don’t make or break the game and of which are put in there purely for the enjoyment. So far the only thing like this has been some (not all) of the LS content and some of the achievements (that that might be an arguable point considering gaining achievements actually gives you currency and buffs across your account in this game).

Really? Every profession should know how to do the same thing? Kinda odd request. Almost like asking that your armorsmith can make food buffs cause you don’t want to spend the minute and a half of putting the food in you storage and than logging on to another character to use it.

You are not “making” anything, you are only transforming the smaller into the larger item. All professions, except maybe chef, follow the same basic path and use the same ingredients for the most part, call it inscription or insignia.

That would almost be like saying only an armoursmith should be able to salvage armour and only a weaponsmith can salvage weapons.

Edit: It feels simply out of place for crafting to me in the first place.

I agree with the notion that 1 aspect of the game shouldn’t give you better chances of advancement. They should provide other means of getting the materials equally across the board. Sneaking in the aspect that WvW and dungeons offers better material acquisition is dishonest imo because they can’t blame the bots since these materials can’t be sold so there’s only one other explanation, they want people to play only in 1 way and 1 way only, which further proves their disdain for the open world content. If they truly were interested in balance then they’d make it equal across the board.

The Lament of the Engineer

Two things. 1: Engineer build variety is exactly nul in PVE. Throw out all of the arguments and you’ll see that it is all zerker builds in PVE because everything else is completely useless. 2: engineers do take three times the effort to do anything. Take the AOE heal of the turret for example, you have to drop overload and then do a finisher and explode the turret before you get the same healing most classes get with simply dropping their equivalent AOE heal. I realized this while playing my Guardian yesterday. It’s seriously that imbalanced.

and before another leetist comes on here and tries to justify making a weaker class more difficult to play for the sake of making it more difficult to play let me explain something, it’s a game, we shouldn’t have to get carpel tunnel to play our class effectively nor should we have to do twelve things to the warrior/guardian/ranger/necro/elementalists 1 thing to do the same effective damage output in PVE or PVP. It’s a complete farse to even be arguing that. This class needs major work and nerfing conditions is the last thing it needs. It needs serious buffs especially in PVE.

You can’t have a weapon without one or the other going on in this class unless you just like torturing yourself.

It’s pretty clear. Oh and I hope for heaven’s gates that they definitely keep it out of PVE because they still haven’t fixed the condition nerf they gave us a year ago before the fractal patch came out when we were all in here again talking about how bad it was (long before it was a PVE PVP separation every balance patch mind you).

See it would have been fine had they realize the problem right after releasing the christmas content because that would have been early enough for it. Now they are just doing it to correct a problem that’s an entire year old. That’s not a valid solution for anything! It further makes it more difficult for people with alts to gear up enough to get out there and handle the WvW or the Fractals enough to get the other materials they need once they reach level 80. They are basically trying to improve their image while biting the hand that feeds them, new players/players with large numbers of alts.

Colin has to hedge his statements with a million qualifiers because Arena.net’s learned that if they make a statement without such qualifiers and discover later that their plans and design have to change that all of you will log in, screaming like spoiled children that were to “lied to” and “betrayed” and “slapped in the face.”

They’re kitten ed if they do, kitten ed if they don’t with some of you, I swear.

Swear all you want, we’re not talking some specific topic here. We’re talking overall game philosophy as espoused by Colin at launch, which has most clearly changed since launch and for which we are perfectly entitled to be dismayed.

We’re also talking about how some aspects of the game give higher rewards, some of which were never meant to be in the game in the first place but somehow were placed in the game as a main focus. LS pretty much shows us that open world isn’t their priority hasn’t been since November and the new ratios of how many of these rewards you get from open world PVE or LS events compared to dungeons or WvW is really messed up. It’s like being slapped in the face with a lie and then getting kicked by high heels while you’re recovering from it. That’s the message. As paying customers we have the right to complain and explain our case whether some of you like it or not.

Read the AMA response and it would be different if people weren’t able to get alot more of the resources doing everything but the open world PVE stuff. Sure in an interview earlier this year they apologized for making the mistake of not making this the game they promised it would be HOWEVER it doesn’t forgive that they are still continuing down that same road. No hotfixes have been made to ensure the amounts people are receiving from rewards are universal, nor has there been a patch to ensure that players who are not level 80 yet would be cutoff from getting any of the accountbound resources while leveling. That’s the issue I’m having with it right now.

Magic Find Cap - Loot Bag Drops

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

I was preaching this back when people were complaining about the rate of exotic drops.

While MF will increase the rate in which you get rares and exotics, it will decrease the rate in which you obtain white and blue items. So while you’re getting shinier items your overall gpm will go down as you’re receiving less white loot bags, unid dyes, and t6 mats.

I had hoped this had changed when they fixed my problem which was it didn’t matter what mf % I had I would get nothing but greys and whites all the time. This patch seems to have fixed that problem I’d rather not have them go back.

These forums seem to be filled with people who can’t do math and keep parroting the same arguments that have already been proven false. The entire 1% of any population in any mmo that plays the game not for RP but for the enjoyment without the carrot can do that, that’s not what people are saying at all. and yes it is 10% more. It’s been proven time and time again. It’s even been stated in interviews as an estimate of how much higher these stats are on this gear. It’s also been seen in other titles how much better these kinds of power creeps make the combat for those who are well geared. Before the huge jumps in LOTRO, the smallest increase made a huge difference. And in STO the smallest % makes a very large difference in defense and damage. It’s there people whether you like it or not. When you’re dealing with Facts (us) vs “truth” (them) facts rule out every time.

OP has a great point and I think it needs serious consideration because testing these things obviously aren’t going to happen, that’s how it’s been time and time again it seems.

[snip]

It’s not a “gear treadmill”, in the traditional sense. Traditionally it would mean you are constantly getting brand new gear that has more powerful stats.

[snip]

They have their blinders on.

They will get new gear to grind every few months (how did ANet put it, every 3-6 months like in other games) and that piece(s) of gear will take as long to get as whole tier set in other games to aquire.

When all possible avenues in ascended tier are exhausted, depending on what will they develop, it will either be time for expansion with level cap raise so it will obsolete all previous gear, and if that wont be ready new tier will be released.

What they said so far is they DONT intend to stop with vertical progression – aka gear tradmill.

That’s what I’m seeing too. To make the claim that they don’t have to is as about as ignorant as making the claim that people don’t play mmos for rewards. We all know that just plain isn’t true for the genre. Second, the go on to claim that we’re all conspiracy nuts because we heard and reacted to exactly what colin said. OMG the mobs are coming with pitchforks. Simply isn’t true either.

Basically my experience with this title for the past year has been one broken promise after another. It’s like it’s in perpetual beta development on live servers except that when we report a problem it’s ignored even tho we’ve already paid for it.

I find it amazing that not only do the people with blinders on don’t see this fact, but that they don’t realize that the game doesn’t even have the basics of any ui common to mmo’s, and to top it all off, the problems they are having with major issues like combat, boss mechanics, class balance, pet AI, AOE’s being too powerful, gold farmers etc have all ALREADY been experienced and fixed in ways that this development team has completely ignored.

Some of us remember these exact same problems in other games and we remember how well these older solutions for these not-so-new problems worked despite claims from the blind on how well they see us as crazies. But when we offer them we’re somehow the bad guys for bringing it up in the first place.

Ascended and Alts.

in Crafting

Posted by: tigirius.9014

tigirius.9014

You’ve decided to make alts. You knew kitten well that having a lot of alts is a disadvantage when you want to gear them all up. It’s only natural that those with 3 characters has to work harder to all gear them to the max compared to someone with 1 character.

These kind of threads is basically full with people begging for free stuff.

Actually that’s not true at all. When exotic was the max level gear it was no trouble to collect karma and then spend it. Even with the limitations of dailies and without the karma boost to bottles it was still easily done. Now they time gated everything. It’s not a solution, they are pretty much replacing a problem some of us had already.

The old magic find system had some kind of flaw in it that would cause people even at 250% to just get nothing most of the time, sometimes it was so bad that bags would stop dropping entirely (those that had T6 mats for runes/sigils). Then they placed the limitation of 1 daily per account when dailies started which if used for crafting bags would only yield certain random T6 materials, now they have time gated not only the acquisition of materials but also the crafting level to make the BoA items.

It’s not done correctly and it’s another example of how this wasn’t tested (PTR) or thought about at length before put into play. Basically what they’ve done is replaced one way of time gating (or completely cutting certain people off from these materials entirely) for another.

I feel sorry for any new person that comes into this title and expects this to be simple especially since during the leveling process you don’t collect a single piece of the materials needed until you reach level 80.

Right now as it stands all concerns aside, what are we going to do with that gear? If they are having us do all of these activities in the game to get said gear, are they simply expecting that we’ll continue doing those same activities in the game after being fully geared? Kinda makes you wonder. What’s next right? It looks like they are doing some revamping of skills and bosses that already exist. Now they do there own failure again. They even listen to them self

I for my self have deinstalled the game, but i am still hoping they will bring new ways to get the ascended weapon i dont like crafting end even have 1 profession on 400.

With my different weapon sets for every build i need to craft 1 Shield 3 Pistols and 1 rifle. Thats to much for me :/.

+1 to this

It would be nice if you can quote where did they said obtaining the ascended ring by a single mean is wrongly designed.

I don’t hate ascended, I just hate crafting being the only reliable way to obtaining one

Even the crafters are hating this system because we already reached 400 which was supposed to be THE max now we have to get T6 materials all over again to get higher which either costs buttloads of money or another whole different set of grinding.
What’s worse is you can’t start the grind until you’re level 80.

Some of us left the game for a time because we couldn’t get anything T6 to drop off anything due to the wi flag loot system they had before and the DR working in tandem. Don’t misunderstand I am glad they fixed that but this whole new system is ridiculous and for Colin to say he hopes they don’t come out with yet another tier in a years time is just another insult honestly.

This Game Has Changed

An ascending power curve does not create an ‘optional’ grind, not even a borderline optional one—but I am happy to see you’re at least using the word borderline. The purpose of vertical progression is to 1) create an illusion of character progression, and 2) motivate continued play. If the games power level is ascending over time, following that power curve is obviously not optional. This is what motivates people to play.

And, we don’t need to know their reasons for a given change in order to judge it. We experience the effects in our game play; it only makes sense to judge it. I do agree that full communication of the rationale would diffuse negative reactions, especially if the rationale was rational.

I agree with you. It’s not optional it’s mandatory. It’s sad when the spin is so bad on this. The bosses that you fight now are going to be alot harder coming around the corner, the new fractal content that I’m sure they are working on in the background will definitely have agony resist requirements and it will be expected you have the best gear in order to run. The negative reactions are due to once again having to deal with a system that didn’t get thought thru properly before putting content out and not being tested properly in a standard PTR which would have caught these problems instantly. That’s where the complaints are coming from. Reasonable expectations for Quality and Care from the playerbase.

Empyreal Fragments are absurd

tigirius.9014

Then on top of that you can’t gather these fragments or any other of these bound materials pre-level 80 so any new person playing or someone leveling an alt will only be able to start grinding these materials out when they reach max level 80 even tho the first dungeon you come to is level 30. Also, dragonite ore and empyrean does not drop from rich ore veins. smh someone over there didn’t think this all the way thru before they released this mess.

I agree it was supposed to have lots more options for diverse builds there’s alot of problems with the combat system right now that’s preventing that and even tho recent changes to the runesets like the traveler set did help classes like engineer a bit in PVE there’s still a long long way to go before it’s actually diverse.

The problems with acquiring the PVE gear for ascended could have been easily avoided had they used a PTR system for testing before releasing this anti-alt content update.

Farming Champs by Failing Events

Honestly I knew something like this would happen, and I know it’s been said before but far be it for me to not say it again. This sortof thing could have been handled properly with proper testing. PTR would have nipped this in the bud immediately before their testing phase was anywhere near being done.

Now they’ll likely harm the slower paced people by limiting the reward because the fast paced crazies are running around with thousands of these stacks in their inventory already.

Sigh gone are the days when this game was going to be all about enjoying the world and not about worrying if you’ve gotten the max gear set yet, remember how it was going to be? When exotic was the max and it was fairly simple to equip yourself to be effective in everything?….smh

This was something we actually suggested to them when they started talking about actually activating the manual guesting system. We tried to tell them that it would be so much better if they setup the server to be one big shard system so that a minimum of a certain number of players were placed on any one server zone at a time when going there. Autoguesting was the term we used to describe it where the zone would be filled by the system taking into account whomever you were teamed with in the process of loading.

They didn’t listen to that suggestion either.

Hi!

I have a problem with this game. I love it, but I prefered the beta days, or the starting days of the game. Remember? Lot of people doing events, when an event has ended, the group stayed together.

What’s the situation now? Desolated areas. You see only 2-3 people doing hearts, but not the event. The events do not start, because no one starts it (no player to speak with NPCs) or not starts automatically, because the lack of players. This is a HUGE problem in PvE! Do you remember when you talked about dynamic events in PAX and such as events for the fans? “It will be the best part of the game” yea, but it’s “not exist anymore”. I have a solution for this problem. You should do the opposite of overflow server. “Underflow”.

There is a map. For instance Queensdale. 3 server is desolated in this map.
Server A has 3 players
Server B has 5 players
Server C has 9 players
“Close them” —> Make a new one with these 17 players. It would be cool! Think about it. And not recommends too much coding. Please, do something about desolated maps, it’s not fun! You heard me? NOT FUN! It’s against your philosophy! Thanks for your response!

Actually it does now considering the means by which they have made the system require champions to gain the most of these materials just as dungeons will be a new focus again as some of the mats will be noticeably easier to get from there as well.

There’s not a single material available for example from rich veins of either T5 or T6 materials for any of these things. People are rushing to get geared as they always have and this is not new, they should know that this type of player exists and how they’ll react it’s been like this since the power creep started in this industry. It’s no mystery.

Top 5 things to fix

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: tigirius.9014

tigirius.9014

Actually now that the loot issue has been fixed it seems. (at least for me it has) my new list of priorities would be:

  1. Condition damage and stacking in PVE.
  2. Size of AOE fields in PVE (noticeably the size of the bombs on engineers even with the trait is still smaller than any other class even the traps on other classes are bigger)
  3. new permanent DE’s and permanent metas for the open world monthly.
  4. more dailies per account or more ways of getting laurels
  5. material availability for ascended gear pre-level 80 so that alts and new players alike can gather these materials before reaching max = less of a grind.

Everyone, including casual gamers, by level 80 should have the best statistical loot in the game. We want everyone on an equal power base. The rare stuff becomes the really awesome looking armours. It’s all about collecting the unique looking stuff and collecting all the other rare collectable items in the game: armour pieces, potentially different potions – a lot of that is still up in the air and we’ll finalise a lot of those reward systems as we get closer to release. And those come off of things like the bosses at the end of dungeons – the raids.”

Colin, Eurogamer, September 2011. So in a grand total of 2 years they did a 180° turn on this important game design choice. I wonder what’s in store for 2014.

But everyone, including casual gamers, by level 80, CAN have the best statistical loot in the game with Ascended. IT IS an equal footing!

And 180 degree turn? Hardly at all! They also stated that Ascended will be the last tier. What’s in store for 2014? You’re speaking like they just introduced the plaque and your character dies if you use a waypoint -_- If they keep updating this game every two weeks, keep iterating and improving every single living story content, keep completing gearing options, then by 2014 this will be an amazing mmo. Get your head out of the sand, this tiny design decision doesn’t impact anyone but the biggest complainers.

Actually what Colin said to the question “Will there be a higher tier after ascended 1-2 years from now..?” was “I hope not” that’s hardly a definitive “NO” answer btw.

I had the feeling that it wasn’t “personal” (since I never saw him on this forum/talked to him) but some mental person who’s probably whispering all the people he hate on this forum at the moment. And blocking them before they can answer, because god forbid you take responsibility for your verbal aggression and listen to a retort.

Quite frankly I’m surprised they are allowing this sort of thing to carry on. It’s one thing to hakitten out on the forums but this is a tad extreme.

LOL wow just wow, someone felt they needed to troll me so hard that they actually logged into game and found my character I was playing and whispered me something trollish before either blocking me or logging off as fast as they could!

I was just posted about how wrong it was earlier to expect people to reach max level before gathering these materials from champions in the crafting forum because I noticed it on my low level toon and I guess I hit a nerve.

All I can say is if these forums incite you to this much rage don’t read them whoever it is.

Is it the same guy as this?

Actually yes it was LOL I was just unwilling to post the pic with their name on it. Amazes me. When they started the whole fractal thing we knew that people like that would be what they attracted to the game, those who complain somehow that people feel entitled to everything when really we would like a well balanced system of progression without the power creep or cutting off our alts. I guess they couldn’t handle the things we were saying in the forums. odd.

My thoughts on Ascended/Direction of game

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Leveling a profession to 400-500 is about ~200 gold. When ascended armor comes that will be ~800 gold!

WTF!

Yeah, the estimated cost buy the mats to level it up is 200g, for one weapon crafting profession and there is three:

  • Weaponsmith
  • Huntsman
  • Artificer

So around 600g in total if you buy it out of pocket. But it’s just an estimate, you have to take in to consideration the inflation of the GW2 economy as well.

As far as Ascended armor goes, no one knows what they are going to do. But I fear the worst for what they have planned.

Definitely especially now since the prices will be and have been increasing since the essence of luck is a factor now as well.

Ascended Material Stack Limit needs removed!

in Suggestions

Posted by: tigirius.9014

tigirius.9014

Yeah the stack limit needs increased definitely i mean we had 250 for the longest time for a reason, legendary was the only thing that needed materials that large for the task.

Now that they require double the amount for ascended they definitely need to increase the stack size to what it requires to build one, that’s just common sense.

How GW1 Devs would've designed end-game gear

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

tigirius.9014

How GW2 original team would have made gear in this game if we went by what they said prelaunch.

Exotic- All tiers of gear would have had a minimal bonus to DPS or stats Exotic being the maximum, nothing above that. Legendary being visually stunning only.

But some of us feel that somewhere along the way someone got in there with money signs in their eyeballs and corrupted the entire team like the shadow creature in the swamp.
