Our practice with names has changed to be kinder and gentler than it once was for first offenders. In most cases, if someone has a disallowed name, we will simply flag the name for rename but we will not place the account under suspension for the first offense. The player must rename to access the character, but he/she can play without a time-out. If someone chooses an offensive re-name, or uses offensive names in the future, then he or she would be subject to suspension(s).

So in this case, if someone copyrights a term and it becomes bound by law with a corporate or individual Intellectual Property, we’ll handle it with a rename but not penalty.

This should work as described, except do note that it’s true that Soulbound items will be lost.

Yes, this is almost certainly due to a full mailbox. We’re not seeing any receipt or transmittal errors these days. Please delete all mails (taking off any contents, of course) and the box should fill. You may find it handiest to delete mails and the log off and back on, just to sort of nudge the queued mails into falling into your mailbox

This really sounds like a TS issue, so I’ll move the thread to that forum.

This could also be the case where you joined solo, a roster was automatically formed, a leader of the roster was automatically assigned and the leader left the roster before your team was matched against another team. In this case the roster will disband, removing you from queue, and there isn’t any real messaging for this yet, outside of mousing over the PvP icon or viewing the PvP panel to see if your roster is still submitted.

And while the name required action, your suspension should have been lifted. and that has happened now. You will still be required to rename, so choose wisely, but you’re good to go now as far as account access.

As a quick aside. Gems in the currency exchange are finite. You may buy gems with real money to your hearts content, but if you don’t put any of them gems into the currency exchange the currency exchange’s stock of gems never changes.

Think of it this way. The government can print as much money as they want, that doesn’t mean your bank account has access to that money. The currency exchange does not have access to gem creation. It has a limited stock that players add and subtract from.

I can’t reproduce this issue, and I can’t find any way that Hywel can be killed. He’s flagged as a “non combatant” so he’s not targeted by enemies, and not damaged by their attacks (poison), etc. I did make some minor adjustments “just in case” so he’s now rezzable, and I removed the “summon” skill from the krait witch since the krait were buffed recently, and now that end fight is tougher than it should be. I do not have an ETA for when this will hit Live, sorry.

I would ask you to please go to your in-game inbox and empty it till you have two or three messages left and see if the item arrives. Sometimes you do not receive your purchased items because your inbox is rather full so finding there some space helps. If this is not the case and you do not receive your kit in the next few hours, please contact our Customer Support team.

There is current a bug with the ‘Join Solo’ button where it does not properly submit your roster during times of high latency. We intend on hotfixing this in our next patch.

We are aware of the increase in FPS issues with catacombs and other areas of the game, and are actively working on a solution.

Also working on solutions to the following problems presented by the Ghost Eater in Detha’s chain:
1. Ghost Eater can get stuck in the traps
2. Sometimes after fulling charging the trap, the trap won’t go off if it becomes active with GE already inside of it. A temporary solution is to kite it out and then draw it back in, or get the trap fully charged without it being inside the trap when it happens.
3. Interrupting Rumblus does not stop his yell that brings down the ceiling collapse.

I’m guessing that by earrings you mean the accessory slot items? If that’s the case, I believe many people are getting those from the Guild vendor that was introduced with rewards for Commendations earned via the Missions. They were also added to the Laurel vendor to provide another way of obtaining them for those players who so choose.

Not all items can be previewed. Are you trying to preview weapons, pieces of armor or dyes?

From what I can tell, one is the packed version (you double click to get the skin + level 0 statless back strap), and one is just the skin (unpacked, they used the strap for nefarious deeds).

buki, that’s stale information in the ui/friend system but shouldn’t be related to actual placement in maps.

If you’ve experienced this bug I’m interested in what state your character/account was in just prior. Specifically, had you recently transferred or guested? Had you encountered any party, guild, or chat weirdness recently?

It is neither. It just takes time to build these items and there is a huge amount of stuff on our list of things to do. We aren’t done adding stat combos. We will continue to add them as we have time to do so. With this batch, we wanted to even out the spread of primary stats and we already had a lot of stats with Power or Condition Damage as primary (more than any other, in fact), but I’ll be sure to get Valkyrie and Carrion into the next batch.

As part of ArenaNet’s policy on third-party programs, we are often asked about multi-boxing and the use of macros. Here is our policy:

Macros

Guild Wars 2 players are permitted to use macros as long as the macros are programmed with a 1 key for 1 function protocol.

1. This means that if you program a macro, it must require one keystroke per action. You may not program a single key to perform multiple functions.
2. For example, if you Press A and it results in the casting of a single skill, you’re ok. If you Press A and it casts multiple spells, you’re not ok.
3. You cannot program a macro to perform the same or multiple actions on more than one account at a time.
4. You cannot program an “auto-clicker” macro that, for instance, opens chests while you play elsewhere.
5. NOTE: We make an exception for music composition or performance macros. As long as they are used solely for the performance of in-game music, they may be used without the restrictions above.

Dual- or Multi-Boxing

1. You may use more than one account at the same time.
2. You may use more than one computer at the same time.
3. You must be actively playing on each account.
4. And as stated above, you may not program your keyboard to perform functions on more than one account at a time.
   a. For example, if you press W on your keyboard to move forward, a single character on a single account should move forward. The keystroke or mouse click should not perform functions on more than one account.

I’ve reduced the veteran levels so they’re L59. I suspect they were up-levelled back when veteran were a lot weaker than they are now. I don’t have an ETA for when this change will reach Live, though, sorry!
