Check your computer’s clock, and make sure the date/time/timezone are correct. There’s a bug where the achievement display is based on your computer’s time, even though the dailies are based on the real date. (So if your clock is a day off, it will display the dailies from yesterday/tomorrow.)
Yes, there’s currently a bug for the show/hide toggle for town clothes headgear isn’t visible, so it will stay in whatever state you had it pre-patch.
The bug appears to be isolated to female sylvari with 0 glow at creation. We’re working on the bug now, but I don’t have an ETA for a fix right now, sorry.
I just had items disappear too. I hit the “Deposit All Collectibles” button in my bag and my tourny tickets, and some boosters disappeared. I pulled some more out of the bank and did it again to test it. They disappeared too. maybe something with the new patch from an hour or so ago?
Check the “collectables” tab. When you “Deposit all collectibles” they don’t go to the main bank tab.

While technically resolved, it does nothing to answer my question. I have access restored to my account, but I don’t even know why I was banned. I don’t even know why it was restored.
What happened? How can I make sure it doesn’t happen again? I didn’t even get an apology for the interruption of service.
From what I’m seeing the extensive notes involving your account, it appears your account was compromised. We retrieved your account from the control of a hacker and returned it to you. I do not feel that an apology is called for, since we were not at all involved in nor responsible for the fact that the account was hacked.

This is preposterous. My account wasn’t hacked. When you disabled the account for being hacked – it was actually ME playing in WvW.
If my account HAD been hacked, all of my gold, high level ores and what have you would have been sold. If someone had tried to access my account other than me – I would have received an email that xxx was trying to access from xxx (which I did back in October and since changed my password) – but since then I did not.
Your system is faulty. I wasn’t hacked.
The notes on the ticket indicate access from China and Taiwan and two email changes. Please do be aware that not all hacked accounts are stripped of goods. However, I asked the team to look again and I believe they’ve reinstated the account.

Change the amount you are wanting to purchase and then proceed to the end. It will show you a lit confirm button. You can then go back and change the amount and should be able to purchase no problem!

Hi Dreadpoolage – This could potentially be due to some of your router settings. Do you still encounter this issue if you bypass your router completely and connect directly to your modem?
Is he selecting the image of the correct credit card? I’ve been told that sometimes not doing that can halt the purchase process.

Very impressive! I don’t think I’ve seen a guardian solo vid yet, but that was pretty good. I don’t think I saw anything out of the ordinary that raised any alarms. Good solid play and knowledge – I like your means of getting through the trap bubble. Good skill rotation and composure over such a long period of time.

I find it ridiculous to ban my brother’s account for sending me 30 gold. In the December, he was helping our guildie to craft a legendary weapon and supported him with some gold to buy materials. This is a gesture of giving a friend an e-Christmas gift during Christmas. He was then maligned for gold selling and banned for the 1st time. We verified with proof of purchase and testimonials that he is NOT a gold trader. It was then cleared that he did not break any of your clauses such as ‘engaged in gathering items to be sold for cash or other items with real world value.’
2 weeks ago, he sent ONLY 30 gold to help me on crafting 2 runes and got banned. I even returned him some gold right after I run a few runs of raids the next day. Does this break any clauses of ‘engaged in gathering items to be sold for cash or other items with real world value.’ at all?? Why is he banned again???? Please check the game log to verify.

That is not why the account was terminated. As your brother was told back in December in Ticket 121212-000003, multiple flags point to RMT; no single transaction caused the account termination.
I will ask the team to review, but I pray this is not a waste of time.

Hi all,
Queues are per map, per team – so there is a queue for TC players on the Eternal Battlegrounds and a different queue for TC players on each Borderlands, and a different queue for each of the other teams on each of the maps.
During the time it takes for players to change maps it is possible for there to be a queue even if there are less players in a map than the maximum capacity because the players taking up those empty slots are still “in flight” between maps. It’s also possible for a slot to take a while to fill if e.g. people see the queue pop, wait until the progress bar for the automatic transfer is almost empty, and then choose to renter the queue. At that point the system will move on and look for other players to fill that slot but all of that takes a bit of time. We’ve watched the queue numbers a lot and generally it’s only a few slots that are in this reserved state at any time.
Just to be sure I ran a quick database query for the last few days and all the queue numbers look quite reasonable.
So I don’t know where in the map those players are when you’re looking for them, but they’re definitely in there somewhere!

This may sound silly, but check your year as well. I’ve had this pop up before where the clock appeared correct, but it was set to 2053. Also check your Time Zone. It might display the correct time, but still be throwing the daily display off by several hours.

Make sure your computer is set to the correct date/time/time zone. There’s a bug where it will display the list of dailies based on your system time, even though it won’t let you complete dailies from other days.
Ok, then you can contact Support by filing a ticket through the “Ask a Question” tab on that linked page. The thing is, that compensation was sent out a few months ago, and I believe that the team cannot send another one at this late date.

Now that we are aware of this issue we will work as fast as possible to fix it. Once again we are truly sorry that you encountered this issue, but appreciate your help in finding it.
You may have kicked the instance owner, which would indeed close the instance and boot everyone out.
We are aware of a problem related to that though, and are working on solutions.
EDIT:

I recently changed the spark behavior in this latest patch – they should follow much better now. I noticed this thread was created yesterday, so I’m wondering if folks feel the sparks are still behaving badly? I watched our QA do it a few times and the behavior seemed to operate much better than it was before.
Without going into detail, to stop an exploit we found during development.
The current implementation of the Grenth fight is at the intended difficulty.
We identified some bugs in the initial roll out and they were fixed. We also adjusted the size of the portals to allow for more play room. We intend this fight to be a difficult encounter in the open world for experienced players to feel challenged against.

I was about to make a thread on this until i had seen this however my email address could be seen by 1/4th of the people online at my guild which is rather worrying. Anybody else experiencing this? It seems like not everybody can see it except some.
That is not at all intended. If we could get screenshots from that guild member showing that he/she can see your email address, it would help us greatly in analyzing this. As I mentioned, we believed this was a user display issue, so we’d like to know more.

There’s a random chance that it will drop high level loot instead of the standard loot. It’s not 100%.

This stuff is currently patched and in game. I tested it last night on my necro and ranger, and the lupicus grubs did not spawn on either my pet or the minions.

-Also changes were made to Alpha and his attacks.
-Jade Maw was left alone. There is some good play that happens, but the argument is 50/50. At least with other cases there was a definite need for change. I will continue to investigate/debate Jade Maw adjustments.

Hey guys! Very sorry about this. Looks like the Shortbow had been using the Longbow model and I fixed that when I hooked up their new icons to use the correct model file, not realizing that the Shortbow was so different looking from the Longbow (usually the shortbow versions are just a little shorter than the longbow). You are absolutely correct to be bummed out, the Longbow has a lot of majesty that the Shortbow does not. So we are going to adjust the Shortbow model to look a lot more like the Longbow. Very very sorry about this! It was certainly not my intention to nerf your awesome bows. We are working on this fix as I type. It might be too late to get it into our next bug fixing build (today or tomorrow) but it will definitely get into our February build at the latest. Again, so very sorry!
