We already have a really good and comprehensive list of what weapons need icons that we are working off of, so you guys don’t need to report weapons without icons. I haven’t had the time to make that same list for armors or all the consumables and trinkets. It takes days to dig through all the files and cross reference everything to make lists like that, but I’ve already done it for weapons. I’ll do armors next when I find the time in between my assigned tasks. I would say that the top priority in reports would be things like the Ash Legion Spy Kit and Whispers Spy Kit. Those are the kinds of things that slip through the cracks. Weapons and armors don’t really slip through per se, there are just so many of them to get through that it’s going to take a long time before all of them have icons that match their models.
Our Goddess of Icons, Maryeli, is going to be keeping an eye on this thread as well, so by all means, heap on the praise. She is amazing and she totally deserves it!
omg, any chance I can get this post noticed by Linsey?
Can you please make the sPvP locker come in columns of 12? Armor sets come in a set of 6 pieces, and having 10 columns just makes the arrangment all out of whack. It would be much, much, much, much more easier to track if it were in columns of 12 (two sets per row).
That would be a major UI change. I don’t think that is something we can do. Sorry. There might be changes in the order that could help make it more manageable, I’ll look into if that is something we can do.
Hello everyone.
Since the Asuran of Killeraled has gotten his name, we proceed to close the thread. Thanks for your suggestions and input.
Hello everyone.
Glad that the name of Advent works fine on your Asuran Necromancer, SoPringles.
Since the name has been given, we proceed to close the thread.
Did any of you do another event prior to fighting dragon? It’s possible you’re hitting the DR if you completed another event beforehand.

Hello everyone.
Since the question has been already answered, we proceed to close the thread. Thanks for your answers!
Hello Milo.
As Gillius has said, the quaggan backpack is account bound and therefore you cannot send it as a gift to your girlfriend, I am afraid.
Hello everyone.
Thanks for your quick answers. Since the question has been already solved, we proceed to close the thread. Thanks again.
Hello there, Begger.
Yeah, FOTM automatically buffs you to the cap.
We close the thread now.
Hello everyone.
Thanks for all your comprehensive answers. Since the question has been already resolved, we proceed to close the thread. Thanks again!
Hello everyone.
There is already a bigger thread in this same subforum that discuss this issue with the Mystic Clovers, here. So I would ask you to please move there and keep your discussions there, in order to avoid duplicates.
Thank you very much for your understanding!
This thread is closed.
The discussion continues here.
Hello everyone.
Griefer of Death, well, it certainly looks pointy but it is only because of the way the hair is around it.
As Conner say, this is not a game bug whatsoever and therefore we proceed now to close it.
Thanks for your understanding.
Hello everyone.
Thanks, Articluna, for pointing in the right direction.
Since the problem has been solved and this is not a bug anymore, we proceed to close the thread. Thanks again!
Hello Sostronk.
I am afraid there is not. If you have been waiting more than three days for an answer for your ticket, have you posted your ticket reference number inthe following thread? If not, please do, so Gaile Gray can take it as a priority.
Thanks!
Hello Ion.
I am afraid that since the paid transfer are here now you cannot transfer to another world without gems any more. The costs depends on how full or not full the world of your choice is:
500 gems – to a low populated server
1000 gems – to a medium populated server
1800 gems – to a high populated server
We will proceed now to close the thread.
Thanks for your understanding.
Hello everyone.
Deulon, thank you very much for your feedback. Since this is not really an issue that deals with an account problem, we will proceed to close the thread.
Thanks for your understanding.
Hello Turial.
reporting him for scamming was right. However, you you can also write a ticket to Customer Support, providing them with a more comprehensive description of this episode and that screenshot. That should work.
Hello everyone.
Kagura, as Michael says, you both need to wait till Customer Support gets back to her (if you have already a reference number that means that the ticket is ok and there are no issues whatsoever so she should receive an answer soon). In any case, should it go unanswered, then proceed to write it here.
Thanks.
Hello everybody,
as there is no constructive discussion going on here, the thread will now be locked.
Thanks!
Have you tried going to account.guildwars2.com & making sure you’re logged-out there? Sometimes the forums/account site get into a fight over whether or not a session is valid & fun things happen.
is this still happen after the new update?

“Fixed a bug where players were stricken with Agony even when they avoided the Ice Elemental’s AoE ice storm”
This update has fixed this issue.
It sounds like your system clock is on the wrong day/time/time zone. There’s a bug where the achievement display looks at your system time, but the actual achievements are controlled by the server. (So you might SEE tomorrow’s achievements, but the server won’t let you do them yet.)
Yes, it’s a bug. The show/hide toggle for town clothes hats isn’t working, so it will default to whatever it was previously set at.
Thanks for the feedback on the Living Story portion of Flame and Frost: Prelude. Here’s some context on how it works:
- The Flame and Frost story content progresses over time. You will not see everything today, tomorrow, or even the next day.
- Expect subtle changes at first. Maybe you’ll encounter some familiar characters. Perhaps you’ll be introduced to some new ones. You might see a new structure where there wasn’t one before.
- The Living Story content is initially about the thrill of discovery. We’ll put some markers on your map, maybe send you a letter, or parcel out details through certain characters, but the rest is up to you.
- As the weeks progress, you’ll notice bigger changes in the world. New events may appear. Plots will advance and characters will develop.
As always, we welcome your opinions. This is a new thing we’re trying so we appreciate your patience and input.
Looks like my first post is about another bug, I apologize. From the sound of the original post, do you have “Fast cast ground targeting” turned on in options? If so, it’s trying to fire at your mouse cursor.
Please make sure that your system clock is set to the correct time, according to where you live. This may allow you to see the right daily achievements (which are for today: Daily Veteran Slayer, Daily Dodger, Daily Crafter, Daily Gatherer, Daily Events). We’ll continue to investigate this bug and are working on a fix for this, but we have no ETA on when we’ll be able to deploy it.
If you’re using a Windows PC, click on the clock in the lower right, then click on “Change date and time settings.” Make sure the date, time, and time zone are all correct. I haven’t used a Mac in 5 years, so I’m afraid I can’t help with setting the time on MacOS.
As mentioned above, check your system time and time zone.
Open your Task Manager, and close the GW2.exe process.
The laurel reward for completing the monthly achievement doesn’t start until Feb.
That’s not really a bug, different versions of GW2 cannot play together. That’s why any update forces players to restart. (Players inside an instance are given more time, since they can’t play with an incompatible version.)
Got same issues here, and I’m pretty sure my clock is working as intended (unlike GW2). Can’t do “Daily Kills” " Daily Laurel Vendor" “Daily healer”.
None of those are part of the dailies for today. Please double-check both your system time and time zone.
every time i try to use the Black Lion Trade, they say i need to log 9in, i am loged in, don;t understand what is going on.
Do you have an antivirus program or firewall running?
Yes, those are today’s achievements. I’m not sure why the event veteran wouldn’t count… It had the veteran frame around its portrait, right?
Linsey, I understand GW2 is very large and the sheer volume of items in it that sometimes things here and there can be misplaced/misaligned, whatever word you want to use for the mix-up of icons; but don’t you think the people that were hired for this should have got it right the first time around? While icons are not specifically high on the to-do list, how can they manage to only get 5 of 6 armor pieces correct or to forget a whole set of weapons? I understand the odd one here and there but there has been a lot of muck-ups and they should be fixed asap, not waiting until there is a new monthly patch.
This was not a case of us mucking things up and not getting it right the first time. There are literally tens of thousands of items in the game. We simply could not generate unique art for all those items in time for ship and did not feel that not having unique icons for all the items in the game warranted pushing back our release date. Each icon is hand painted by one of our concept artists and they take pride in their work, which is why we are making an extra effort, in addition to all our other duties, to fill in the holes that we know are there. That takes time. It’s not like we are just waiting to do it, we are generating new icons every day and we push them Live in the soonest patch we can.

While technically resolved, it does nothing to answer my question. I have access restored to my account, but I don’t even know why I was banned. I don’t even know why it was restored.
What happened? How can I make sure it doesn’t happen again? I didn’t even get an apology for the interruption of service.
From what I’m seeing the extensive notes involving your account, it appears your account was compromised. We retrieved your account from the control of a hacker and returned it to you. I do not feel that an apology is called for, since we were not at all involved in nor responsible for the fact that the account was hacked.
I’m glad that you’re back in the game. You’re welcome to discuss this with the team via the ticket if you have additional questions.

It sounds like your system clock is on the wrong day/time zone. The achivements you’re listing as not working today are not today’s achievements. There’s a bug where the achievement display looks at your system time, but the actual achievements are controlled by the server. (So you might SEE tomorrow’s achievements, but the server won’t let you do them yet.)
The laurel reward for completing the monthly doesn’t start until February. (Out of fairness for people who did the January achivement pre-patch.)
Thanks for the reports, everyone; we’re looking into this now.

Have you completed the personal story?
If you have, the exit isn’t marked, but when you approach the exit (the way you came in) it should prompt you to exit by interacting with the door. I believe Caer Aval is missing this exit, but all of the other instances that I know of should have them.
Are you having this issue with one personal story instance or all of them?
Sorry, there isn’t a way to do this between games. You can go into GW, nab the names (screenshots, make a list, etc.) and then ping those names in GW2, if you desire. Not all players in GW carried over their names to GW2, but many did, so that’s one way you could make the cross-game friends-list bridge.

I have asked and apparently no one can see it. Thanks for the response.
That’s really good to know, Olof, and thanks for updating us about this. We’d like to take care of that account owner display issue, but I guess it’s pretty clear that it’s not a big deal if it’s just you who is seeing your address, and so far, that’s all we’ve heard about (and it’s pretty unusual, at that).

Hey Everyone.
I am currently looking into this issue and you can rest assured his agonizing ways will be remedied.
Seriously though, I investigated this when I arrived this morning and have pinpointed the issue and am working on an active solution.
Thanks again,
Will
