Only reason I wasted time in PvP (it may not be a good reason but is a reason nonetheless.)

ONLY NECROMANCERS’ MINIONS ARE WORTHLESS.

I recently bought the digital deluxe update so I unlocked the mist wolf and this thing works 100% of the time. It always attack, its Ride the Mistfire skill NEVER get stuck.

And I never, EVER have seen Illusions/Elementals/Turrets/Spirit Weapons or Thieves stay idle or stuck without attacking.

This has lead me to believe the necromancer’s minions aren’t bugged, but deliberate nerfed to make players avoid their use.

TL;DR

The current state of the necromancers’ minions is not the result of a bad AI or some impossible-to-detect bug. It’s the result of a deliberate nerf by part of GW2 devs.

I reported a clipping issue with my character’s hair like 2 years ago. They never fixed it so don’t hold your breath (I’ve been using low animation ever since.)

Unfortunately, things like this are in the “idon’tgiveakitten” tier on their list of priorities.

I remember that! I was like “wut” but I didn’t knew it was because a ban (never witnessed a ban myself.)

Dunno about the healing but yes, all minions die really fast now.

Yup, I used to run the game at 40-50 fps but now it run at 28-30

But seriously, runes of the eagle BUT, I run with full zerker, 30/10/0/0/30 and sigil of air/fire so, the dmg output is brutal.

For MM any rune will do, I think (I switch to MM to solo champs and runes are rather irrelevant IMO).

In WvW/PvP runes of speed is a must for me but then again, I’m not really into these aspects of the game.

So now we can’t skip that little part at the no so secret JP? Darm!

Otherwise, it looks like we are getting only buffs/fixes

I see similar responses in many posts…seems everyone is down on Necromancers. Why?

In dungeons: Unlike guardians or eles, necros can’t “hide” bad players..
Other classes can provide the party with healing/blocks/etc so, bad players can just stand there with auto-attack.

In PvP: Necros don’t have mobility so they are always the main target. Most players can’t deal with this (either because they have no idea how to survive, don’t like being the main target or just want a easy auto-attack win).

As far as I know, this only applies to the new precursors for the new legendaries, they didnt state, if the new precursors are also obtainable through forging and rng drops like the old ones, and if the old precursors will be obtainable through collections.
If thats not the case, I dont see how it will have much influence on existing pres and leggies.

Uh? Sorry, I just post this for those who think they will able to get only one precursor per account.

Anyway, I don’t think the prices of current precursors/legendaries are going to drop. Some people just “need” to have everything and some actually like the current legendaries.

Level 80 for crafting 4 disciplines to 400? HOLY SKRITT!

Since I got bored of the NPE (1-20 is awesome, 21-40 is ok but 41-60 is hideous) I always level up all the available disciplines to 400 and use 12 ToK to reach lvl 80.

And, though I only “played” a few hours on Sunday (I wasted all Saturday putting orders for mats on the TP and cashing Karma for gold), I got several -most than welcome- Skill Points.

So yes, I really enjoyed this weekend

At this point I think the Revenant is also a Monk/Necromancer/Elementalist/Ranger/Warrior/Ritualist/Paragon/Assassin -_-

The digital upgrade can be purchased with in-game gold, the full game cannot (and that’s the point, get as much money as they can now the hype-train is running wild).

That’s why you must wait until the upgrade get its own discount.

I’m more interested in what is going to happen to legendary prices… Normal skins won’t change that much. Some of the BL skins may move a little, but I suspect they will stabilize pretty quickly.

Well… Trahearne is know for “stealing” things and Marjory can summon bone bridges so I can’t really take them as a proof but, if this was announced at the PAX event, then I’m ok

Based on the art and the few info we have, it certainly looks like a dervish/ritualist hybrid.

For a time, probably.

Maybe Season 3 (and 4) is going to be a warm up for the second expansion just like S 1-2 were a warm up for the upcoming expansion (the living story is “cheap” to make so, there is no point in drop the concept.)

They said long ago, it was more likely add new races over new professions.

HOWEVER, Charrs proved to be a failure “technically speaking.”

Clipping issues and the constant complains about it and about male cloths for both sex aren’t a big incentive to add another non-human race (Sylvari and Norns are just humans in diguise.)

So -as always- BLAME THE CHARRS!

Mmh… Revenant (or the original meaning) is related to undeads (in many games is the most powerful kind of ghostly/undead warriors [like death knights but masterless].)

ArenaNet and their Chinese overlords HATE undead related things (just look at what they did to the "necro"mancer).

Also, as many should know, it’s going to be highly OP at the begging, then nerfed to oblivion (like the Dervish or pretty much any new class added in any game).

Of course, this is just a guess since I don’t have enough info about this new profession yet.

Yep, I just log-in and Heart of the Mist seems to be OK. Probably just too many players in certain maps.

Double exp for crafting so you hit lvl 80 leveling 6 disciplines to 400 + free skill points for leveling the other 2 -or- double crafting xp so you hit lvl 400 with half the cost?

Craft to lvl 68 (all disciplines to 400). Use 12 ToK (from daily rewards or from PvP). Isn’t cheap but is the faster way

It’s not really in the same league, because it’s not really in the same genre. After playing around with leveling a bit in TESO, I’m convinced completely different people would like the games.

To me, TESO is far far too generic.

I wasn’t talking about the genre but the B2P model (and no, I didn’t mean ESO is a “GW2 killer” again or something like that).
