Nope.
What you have here is an HoT map with zero of the appeal of an HoT map. Of course, they wouldn’t allow gliding because they want people to buy the expansion to experience gliding, except all it really does is make people play pve to experience gliding.
Well in that case, gliding would only be available if you have the expension.
I mean PVE is already dead without the expension (death of dungeons, fractals reward need masteries). PVP needs the new elite to have a chance to win. Why not give an advantage to HOT owners in WvW?
That’d just fracture what’s left of WvW as there is little incentive to buy the expansion.
It’d make more sense to make gliding available to everyone in a modified version of the desert bl to serve as a advertisement for HoT. Maybe if people enjoyed gliding, they might want to try it in the HoT maps or skin the gliders or whathaveyou.
Of course, the current trend runs against this; I suppose taking away people’s things and repackaging it as new content seems to be the popular thing to do.
for there you have been and there you will long to return.
Technically, though it’d be a bit more substantial if we had people agreeing/disagreeing with it.
Its just more of the PvE mentality pervading WvW development, overpowered siege/special abilities taking away from the actual skill of the players.
I wouldn’t really consider that a pve mentality, at all. I wouldn’t consider it a mentality, as that would imply thought.
If anything, PvE relies on active defense and learning the gimmicks. At least one could claim that a zerker gear person that learned to dodge and read boss movements would do a lot better than one that didn’t. There’s essentially no learning here besides tossing a lot of money at something and just using it.
Before HoT, regardless of how unfair anything was, at least anyone could roll any build, and anyone could +5 supply a keep. Anyone could toss and build whatever overpowered siege there was. But now it’s far more restricted.

I think relying only on yaks just simplifies the matter for the better. Currently all it does is slow down upgrades. Now they are critical and also intuitive, and as someone that regularly bashes their face against reinforced doors with 2-4 people with plenty of time to /sleep, I think I like it, because I do not think a karma train that just ran over this tower recently deserves that to keep the tower for that long.
Telling players not to drain supplies was a nightmare and supported griefing, and honestly I can’t really recall the last time anyone targeted workers. Asking people to pay for upgrades in a mode that was so gold scarce is a bad idea and puts the burden on a few players.
What I disagree with definitely is escorting a yak not being rewarded, though some would argue there basically is no reward. I’m also not sure about having the camps themselves being reliant on yaks making their destination.

To be honest from what I remember getting 1 marauder amulet from doing the story achievements in act 1 is easier than taking a tower in T9 WvW at 4am. Not saying it’s fine and all but it really isn’t very taxing.
Other stats? That can kitten right off. Only way you’re getting them on an amulet as far as I know is doing the stupidly buggy and irritating act 4, migraine in particular. They really need to add ascended versions of the new stats to the usual vendors and those back items need to be realistically obtainable.
Would be nice to be able to get rings and accessories in new stats too, I hear you can as RNG from raids. I’ll get banned if I said what I really think of that so I’ll just leave it as that isn’t very accessible to most people.
Ah, well Marauder doesn’t sound too bad then if one wanted to do the story. The other stats just sound poorly thought out. Raid only stats I have disdain for. Raid RNG stats? Kitten off!

Yea, that’s why I said area and not zone. But my thought was that it’d be a pain to be a level 2 or whatnot in a level 6 area and then level up only gathering. Certainly doable, of course.
Doable, but difficult. There’s not that many nodes along that area and the areas increase in levels pretty fast. In addition there are a number of hostile mobs, including numerous centaurs and further down there are wolves that would be tough for a level 2 to avoid and still harvest.
Yea, those wolves are annoying. But that’s why I have those concerns because I’d imagine that’d be more frustrating than challenging to start out with.

Hmm, literally speaking it’d be pretty hard to get exp solely from gathering.
You’ll get a lot of experience just from getting place to place just for map exploration just to reach nodes though. Killing things not associated with hearts and events tends to not be a very large portion of your xp gained and it also doesn’t help that the first very low level areas don’t have any gathering nodes at all.
I doubt anyone can solely get exp from harvesting.
OTOH, my quote of 95% isn’t a stretch. For ascended weapons, I needed wood and metals, and they are on known routes in known zones. You get about 25% of a level if you do every WP, Vista, and Point of Interest, and you only get about 1/3 of that running a route, since you miss most of the zone. You only get that once, while the gathering nodes renew, so you can get that XP once per hour at no further gain from the zone itself. You also don’t need to kill anything. You can harvest and run off yard trash, or skip the node.
You should also get out more. All the newbie zones have harvesting nodes.
I meant the very first areas of the starting zones, Yes, I am aware that 1-15 zones have gathering nodes. That’s where most of my green wood comes from. But, the NPE did remove various nodes that were once there for the truly lowbie (about level 1-5). This is kinda important if the challenge is just to gain exp from gathering!
Maybe you should get out to the maps a bit more too. =p Start a new human character (Or go to Shaemoor WP) and see when the first gathering node shows up.

+1 a million times!
I still haven’t even done LS achieves but there are the stat trinkets from those that I want and I am willing to pay Laurels, craft my way there, convert gems to gold you name it ANet yet all those quirky ones are unwaveringly locked behind the LS.
There needs to be other ways to acquire said stat trinkets; variety in acquisition is always welcomed & a healthy game design.
Make 500 Jeweller aka ascended trinket crafting a thing, ANet. It needs to be done. I will jump with joy if such a thing ever happens…
Yea, that’s the thing. I’m certainly willing to put in the effort or even more effort if it is decided my way isn’t the “intended” way, but I want to pick my own path to say the least and generally this game has been fairly friendly to such a proposition.
An example is (most) ascended rings. The intended way is fractals and is the most efficient way to get them. However, they can also be gotten via laurels, which is less efficient but more accessible. Also, note that you can get ascended 4 stat armor and weapons anyways.
Likewise, ascended gear is largely nonspecific, even if it’s rather expensive.
Anyhow, I understand if the expansion will have skins or minis or whatnot or even legendaries specific to it, but those are largely cosmetic and don’t affect gameplay. I do understand why there needs to be expansion exclusive stuff, but I’d rather this not go into the area of actual gameplay in combat.

I hate to say this, but unfortunately in terms of quality, HoT is strictly a pve upgrade. WvW is still fun during evenings and sometimes early mornings, but it’s definitely very troublesome at times and most of the action is skewed towards reset night. Which is on Saturday, btw.
for there you have been and there you will long to return.
Both banners are garbage and show a lack of thought and lack of testing of which isn’t atypical for the game, especially when it comes to WvW.
Yea, stuff is “imbalanced” in WvW, but that’s not that big of a deal. I see them as “tools” that anyone can use. Anyone can roll one of dem heralds or chronomancers or whatever the trend is with a good stack of tomes. Anyone can buy some superior siege. Anyone can do the silly laser event. Except this isn’t a thing everyone can use, it’s confined to rich guilds, making it a borderline p2w. People complained about ascended gear giving an advantage, but it was still possible to acquire on an individual basis and wouldn’t change the tide of battle like this. At least the chilling thing has a point in defending structures.
It’s also a lack of creativity. One is stack every defense ability. One is do lots of damage. Wow, that’s such engaging gameplay!
And again, it’s not much of a balance issue as it is a intent issue, of which I can’t read any beyond “let’s put a really expensive gold sink in and not test it out in a realistic environment as well as again alienate people that aren’t in a big guild”.
It’s an extremely disturbing trend in HoT that I see a slow promotion of power creep (inaccessible stats, i heard u liek pirate ship so we put some pirate ship on top of your pirate ship), lack of freedom of choice (Do this content to get this reward, and we won’t let you pick alternative ways), and exclusion (Non-HoT players lose guild buffs) that fortunately isn’t taken to that much of an extreme in most cases that I think really ruins the appeal of this game. This isn’t a step in a good direction.
I think the most optimistic way to evaluate the situation is that HoT was indeed so rushed that the current version of WvW is literally a skeleton model that was never meant to actually be played and we are still beta testing. Hey, I’m trying to be positive!

- The new HoT stats have 4 stats and seem to give more overall points, and also you can’t get them if you’re not HoT.
Does that mean they are account bound or can I get them thru TP or crafting? Is it similar to celestial where you have alot of stats but not that great of power/ferocity ect?
Hope this isn’t more p2w.
Like all ascended jewelry, they are account bound and also can’t be crafted. You can craft the exotic version though.
Celestial has lots of stats but it’s not as good as you’d have to utilize all of it. Also, having such low base power means that extra ferocity and precision is marginal at best especially since the ferocity nerf. Speaking from anecdote, it seems like switching to marauder from celestial seems to have done quite well, but that could be just selection bias.
Well, let’s take a hypothetical staff ele. Apparently the editor doesn’t know you can get marauder ascended either for rings/earrings, so all rings and earrings are exotic in this example. I also set a zerker backpiece for both but you can change it to whatever you want.

It’s really weird because the first tier is 50 and starts suddenly increasing rapidly. I mean really, where did they get the numbers from? As a side note, if you’re having trouble, only play notes you know will pass. So I was making some Marauder gear to test out stuff, and thought this was pretty nice. Exotics are fairly cheap, and if you had ascended gear, you could just make an insignia to convert. I thought I’d also get some Marauder trinkets to swap out zerker trinkets in case I needed to die in 2 hits instead of 1. At this point I came to the following realization:
- The only way to get the trinkets is to do the story ACHIEVEMENTS. I actually like the story thus far, and if I merely had to complete the story to get stuff like in the past that would be barely acceptable but I’m really not a fan of doing achievements especially when I know parts of it may be gated. Even people that I know that play mostly PvE aren’t particularly big fans of the story. I know a lot of people around these parts are even smaller fans. And this isn’t a particularly bad one. Some are seemingly behind collections.
- The new HoT stats have 4 stats and seem to give more overall points, and also you can’t get them if you’re not HoT. I mean if it were just a color stat like Nomad I wouldn’t care. As an aside, I am very disappointed that non-HOT’ers have been put behind in terms of actual material differences such as the fact that they lost guild boosts. (I have HoT, but it seems lame)
- Jeweler 500 when??? Why does Jeweler stop at exotic? Who still uses exotic trinkets? I have 8 characters with their own specific ascended jewelery! Laurels are an excellent and consistently proven example of a resource. I’m willing to craft it with whatever unreasonable amount of materials you want. Just NOT storyline farming kitten . I think Jeweler would be the most fair thing.
- Barring all this, I would only get 1 of each trinket. Which means a lot of annoying swapping.
Please, please find an alternative way for WvW’ers to get these things, either with notaries or badges or whathave you because it’s already annoying that it’s easier to gear for WvW by not playing it.
Anyhow, I hope someone does the math and shows me that even if there’s more stat points, that it isn’t really better than the original stats.
And in b4 “You need to work for it!”; I’ll agree with that when WvW gets its own set of stats, preferably 5-stats. Let’s see how you feel about that.

for there you have been and there you will long to return.
I have a copper fed salvage kit and full bag slots so this usually isn’t a problem.
However, I would like to share my disdain of “trash trash”, referring to things that can’t be salvaged or vendored. An example of this would be something like snowflakes, regular siege blueprints, blade shards, or aetherblade keys which can’t be vendored and it’s a waste of time to TP them. T7 ascended mats are a noted offender because depositing just doesn’t help against too much of them. Personally, I really hate writs of experience, because they are utterly useless when opened on a level 80 character.
There’s also examples like deleting Orphan Laine’s letter where you have to type out the entire friggin name, but at least that’s rare.
And yes you could use a guild hall, or pvp, or wvw to empty out your bags. But there’s a few cases where you can’t easily, namely if you’re in a full map where you may not be able to get in, or World vs World where you will have to run a long way back if you try to vendor stuff. Not that World vs World actually has any loot to speak of, but alas.
And now for a shot of my inventory when it’s “empty”. Granted I could carry less things, but meh.

I don’t wish to derail this thread, but since I was addressed specifically, I’m not actually a wvw forum specialist, and haven’t been since early October. They just haven’t fixed my forum title yet
To keep this on topic, I say HELL NO to manual upgrades in any form. Too much abuse, too many people who don’t understand upgrade order, too many ways that it can and has gone wrong. Auto upgrades are fine with the change. I do not wish to go back to the days of someone starting fortify before anything else because they clicked wrong or just wanted to keep you from having anything else. Sorry, no.
Manual upgrading for the camps, keeps, and towers would not be able to be abused. It would be a simple change that would require a player to manually activate available upgrades, rather than having them automatically activate when available as they are now. They would be the same upgrades that happen now, only the structure would sit at the “upgrades ready to activate” state until a player essentially pushes the button.
That sounds like pointless busywork.
There’s nothing wrong with the upgrades autmatically queing as long as the enemy can actively disrupt the yaks. The problem with the atuo upgrades wasn’t that they upgraded when nobody was watching. it was that they made yaks pointless.
Requiring someone to go to the objective and click a button adds nothing to the game, unless you’re under the assumption that the enemy is going to bother camping the objective to wait for that one guy that’s going to run over and click it when they should be focusing on disrupting yaks.
If enough yak runs ahve already made it through for the objective to upgrade, the enemy has already failed. Making someone click a button doesn’t magically create fights. It just makes it easier to PvDoor, and creates less tanky objectives during off hours, during times they should be tankier to discourage easy night capping and encourage defense even at off hours.
Yea, the only problem I really had with autoupgrades is that it was difficult to starve the structures out of supply. And also making upgrades manual often in my experience just placed more busywork on people defending. Quite a few people I talked to just found it to be busy work as well especially during off hours when only a few people were willing or able to do it, and they would rather deal with more “active” duties such as placing/refreshing siege, scouting, and and of course yak management being one of the few things I actually like doing myself.

This is literally the equivalent of asking why people aren’t using optimal berserker-melee rotations in open world or why they aren’t trying to win when trying to cheese pvp rank in custom arenas. It was never on their minds.
First off, how many Youtube highlight videos (not just WvW) depict losses and failures? There’s not too many, and I like those videos a lot more. First point, people don’t like losing and the hot air: fight ratio is exceedingly bad.
And of course, “wanting fights”. I don’t know, it tends to be a bit better wanting fights when you have guildies or regulars on comms that you know what they’re capable of as opposed to pugs that will probably die in 1 second, not pay attention, and find a different map after a wipe. The later is a real problem as when you’re running with friends and wipe, you’ll probably regroup. Randoms will easily disappear. Hell, even commanders will.
It’s just realism. Commanders just know that random strangers probably don’t care for fights and there is little you can do to force that out of people. You can very easily tell what’s on people’s minds by the way they move and react. And this applies to WvW proper as well. It doesn’t help that EOTM’s terrain doesn’t lend easily to fights, and besides I’ve like 2v5’d as an uplevel and I’m sure there were level 80s on their end. It really doesn’t mean anything to win against people that aren’t even around to fight.
I know I know, we’ll get a lot of badkitten replies from people that they’ll go in regardless of odds, but your group just has to share the mentality.
Finally, there are other reasons like WvW dailies which are often easier to complete than their PvP or PvE counterparts, and maybe they need a few ranks to get a legendary or they want to farm meories of battle. We don’t know, but EOTM is generally a low effort affair aside from avoiding falling off cliffs.
Just don’t try to take a casual mode that seriously. You’ll just bring yourself grief when people don’t agree with it. Actually, that should apply to most of the game itself— I should take my own advice.

Well, consider it like this.
I understand that some of us play can play for the sake of the content, but in order to fill the numbers a bit, there needs to be some widespread appeal.
But it goes beyond that kind of carrot theory. It’s just that well designed content needs to be well thought in all aspects of it. It’s sort of like how one dresses up nicely if they’re going to a formal occasion. Sure, your clothing and the way you look doesn’t affect your intelligence or skills, but it does show you pay attention to things and actually care about however you’re doing. At this point, World vs World consistently lacks in thought and presentation in many aspects, giving it the metaphorical look of a lazy bum.
It’s the thought that counts. In the grand majority of content in this game, it’s exceedingly rare that one feels like they wasted their time (barring extremely poor play), even if they don’t succeed. Even in PvP, you get a consolation prize, after all.
It’s in this poster’s opinion that ultimately the company is out to make money, and in the end this comes down to the economy and the gem store. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing, it’s just how things are. And naturally, the further away something is away from that, the less important it’ll be. So for the sake of that, there needs to be more ways to hook up WvW with the economy.

So out of curiousity, are the these going to be global changes or WvW specific?
I mean come on. At least share the WvW love with PvE.
The rally and resurrection rules are WvW specific and only apply to players.
Beyond the actual design choices, that’s a pretty interesting direction to head.
I do think because WvW is different from other game modes, that WvW only specific mechanics will help keep the game mode unique, and in terms of “balance”, more playable as well.

Although you can already drag your icon down to form another subgroup. You can ask if there’s other roamers that joined the squad to move down with you, and you’ll also share your own party chat as well. If you manage to get this set up, you can also click “toggle” squad and only view the status of people in your own group as well.

I’ve been using it on siege, because there’s literally nothing else. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to add other stuff, seriously.
Though forging siege doesn’t seem to be a good idea atm. It costs like 13-14s in elder wood and mithril to do a single blueprint. If you do buy orders on say, superior rams, you can get them for around the same price. Even if you buy instantly, it’s 18-19s, meaning if you forge, you’re basically getting 5s per spirit shard, which are limited and is a very bad rate. It’s pretty easy to burn through these things too especially considering how painful reinforced gates are.
Added to the rather slow mystic forge interface, and it just seems like a waste of time. It’d make more sense to forge anything else using your spirit shards, and then just buying the siege outright or placing mass buy orders; be so much easier on the wrist. Or just use notaries I suppose.

Hi,
I would suggest doing the WvW dailies. Most of them can be done solo. A lot of it, such as “daily camp capturer” are totally pve. You will get chests that give you a Wxp boost, but you should save them when you have a decent allied zerg going. If you have a few XP boosters (the 50% general booster, not the old “from kills” booster), you can skip this entirely.
At this point, the best way to handle this is to wait for “reset night”, which is on Saturday at 1:00 server time. At this point, if you hit “B” the options to enter WvW maps will grey out soon. This is when it’s time to get ready and peroidcally refresh the WvW menu until Edge of the Mists comes up. Usually this is when it’s most populated and you will just follow the zerg with a toon that has lots of AOE and hit whatever. The only things you need to know is how to grab supply (walk up to it and press f), and build siege sites. (walk up to it and build f).
Weekends in general are better for it as well.
for there you have been and there you will long to return.
Reward tracks, obviously.
A few people have suggested participation tracks for map wide goals much like found in HoT pve. Participation would simply involve being involved in “typical” tasks such as capturing structures, killing enemy dolyaks while protecting your own, stomping and/or killing enemy players, and defending structures. Issues would involve how to deal with afk abuse, but in any case it’d be a much more meaningful reward system as opposed to who can run up and tag the lord fastest. I think anyone that’s trebbed down a wall could agree.
I like these ideas and I’ll go back to read the thread a bit more in detail too.
What kinds of rewards would you like to see awarded and earned by track or currency in wvw?
Well. Here’s the thing.
Rewards only have value if they can’t be easily obtained elsewhere. Memories of Battle is an example, but its use is too niche. Currently, the most reliable thing in WvW is the heavy loot bag, but with t5 mats in the crapper, they have also been devalued.
When you look at PvP tracks, they offer an assortment of items that can’t be trivialy obtained (one notable one was the heavy supply bags), but also alternate ways of getting dungeons for people that don’t want to do them.
This could be anything as simple as having an ascended insignia of the new HoT stats at the end of a track, for example. Or a sinister ring. Or ascended earrings. Or skins. Or Superior Siege.
The success of the PvP reward tracks isn’t because it’s farmable or anything because PvE’rs will still farm in PvE outside of novelty, but it’s a workable system that actually goes with actually playing the content while World vs World’s reward system is an utter failure. In PvP, even failing gets you something. This is not true in WvW. And even if you’re doing okay, someone that’s relatively new to the game can run around a level 25 zone and go around gathering— they will still make more than you selling soft wood and iron.
Some ideas
- +Remove Champ Bags from the lord. Tower Reward = Tower Capture
- +Rewards for defending structures that you have owned longer, but there is a strict inactivity timer
- +Rewards for taking structures held by the enemy longer
- Well, here’s an obvious one. A progress bar for player kills that fills up. But, instead of determining who can staff 1 faster, all players in the vicinity that have “participated” give credit for all kills in the area. You of course still run the problem of leeches, but it’s still better than going into some dumb tagging fest and kittening over support builds that are arguably more important at times.
But those are just ideas. I think it should be balanced around playing WvW, not around tapping as many enemy targets as possible.
As a side note, due to progress in WvW being always kept in check by enemy servers, the rewards will never reach the levels of PvE, so concerns of abuse or leeching aren’t really important unless it’s some kind of severe bug exploit.

Sure.
People whine about “zerker meta”— they want dungeons to have specific roles
- Ferocity gets nerfed while still effecting WvW
- Dungeons don’t get “fixed”, they just get nerfed into oblivion
People whine about “trains”— they don’t like people making more gold than them.
- Most of PvE areas get nerfed into oblvion
People whine about “nothing to do”— they want more grinds to get ahead of people that don’t
- Grindy ascended gear
- More soulbound nonsense
Point is, a lot of people have an agenda. Which is fine. We all have needs and wants, but quite a few would disingenuously claim they speak for others when they changes they want would affect many others and they don’t consider that or even care. A combination of elitists, lazy folk, and yes-folk have created a situation where some groups are just left in the dust. And considering the focus that is put based on the general Gw2 population, it’s not too hard to deduce who got left in the dust.
It is just my speculation, but seems like there are those that want to reduce Gw2 to a generic grindy MMO where people with too many time on their hands can be special snowflakes and WvW always suffers as a result.

To be fair, I think PM’ing someone and then blocking is probably worse than emoting but I suppose this was started by you. It’s not really a big deal, just sometimes one gets pumped up and types a few too many things.
It doesn’t make you a bad person, since at least you admit your wrongdoing, which makes you better than ton of people already.

It’s especially jarring when account bound has been the way this game has been advancing. Masteries, WvW abilities, Account bound wallet, Ascended/legendary gear.
And sure, while someone could argue that you can’t get a hero point for another character in pve , that would ignore the fact that notaries give you an arbitrary hero point in a map that you might not have even reached, meaning that in no way is it a valid analogue. The exploration aspect is a part of pve character progression, and also comes with its own reward system per character.Hero points mean a lot more in pve than just getting a single point but it also is a part of map completion. Thus, It makes no sense to attach such a concept to an account bound means of acquisition such as wvw rank. It makes little sense if one plays 80% of a level on a characater but the notaries can’t be passed over because it coincidentally finished on another character.

They said that they didn’t want to decrease the importance of cities, so guild halls will probably never have a Trading Post.
That’s kind of funny since Lion’s Arch is garbage when it comes to convenience unless you really need fractals or the forge. Both HOTM and WvW are more convenient than it, as well as Rata Sum but it seems lively.
Plus not everyone hangs out with their guild all day anyways. But it’s more like I feel it’s more discouraging to go there if it’s not good for convenience, especially given the other options that are also quick.
In the end, the silly thing is that PvP probably doesn’t need a TP person as much. But perhaps that’s why they’re selling those passes in the gem store…

It’s not just EOTM.
I’ve seen guildie yellow dots who are on opposing servers show up on my map.

Hmm, this is a bit too anecdotal for my liking. I would like to see if it’s worth building up the hero points for my ranger so I don’t have anything to test it without spending lots of time.
I think the best way is to go to http://en.gw2skills.net/ and compare what builds were used for druid vs whatever.
Another thing is that blast finishers use the blaster’s healing power. So I am not sure of the value of putting healing power on staff eles.
The other question I would like to ask is how much healing power is required to be invested for it to be effective. That is, is it possible to just use the base healing and put the rest into power or whatnot. Because eles certainly can.

They really need to talk more (with us) and stop sending in changes piecemeal.
Define “us.” If anet just creates a forum post requesting input from the players, they’ll get 1000 different opinions. If we really want anet to listen to players, we should find some way to “elect” a couple player representatives from each server. Anet’s despotism is not working so maybe they should consider a republic (sure helps me out in Civilization, hehe).
“Us” as referring to the public. I’m not actaully referring to discussion as much as even just bringing stuff out, instead of say announcing things two weeks before it happened (Sup Wxp chests) and pulling the rug from people giving them zero time to prepare.
Lots of people just have a lot of different things to be catered to and the problem about having a discussion sometimes is that a lot of people only come to the discussion when something’s gone wrong. I mean it’s only natural right? If something works fine, you wouldn’t constantly talk about it. “Hey, you know what. I think the salvaging interface works fine. Do absolutely nothing to change it!” constantly.
That being said, it’d probably be good if they would listen to representatives (especially for testing) as you suggested a bit more instead of like handpicking streamers and err… how to say it nicely… people that wouldn’t really mind either way.
In any case, I would also definitely say only posting on Reddit isn’t very good either!
Oh and btw, Civ seems to always have a bias towards Communism xD But kitten , the way Firaxis treats some of their games. Anyone know how Civ V turned out?
