Cast Enchanted Daggers, and do the truckmove with surge into an enemy, only one dagger will be used!

First, lets prepare:

“Confusion: Confusion is a condition that deals damage each second and additional damage each time the affected target begins to activate a skill. "

“Enchanted Daggers (Rev shiro heal): Summon enchanted daggers which will attack as you attack, siphoning life from targets hit.”

Now, if you cast Unrelenting Assault and have Confusion this happens:
1 skill activated > five hits of confusion

Now if you cast Unrelenting Assault and have Enchanted Daggers:
five Hits > 5 procs (Actually not bugged with UA, but a good comparison)

I’m unable to use UA against most condis, since all of them use confusion. I know this is a known bug. But its bugged since Revenant exsists.

as if its not enough to have mesmers and thieves stacking perma stealth inside an enemies keep for half an hour, lets give them the ability to revive if you acutally catch them. Cant facepalm hard enough, would pass out otherwise.

Seriously, even with 3k tougness which is mediocre, a thief can crit my rev with the stealing ability (sometimes twice due to trait) for about 4k-5k. FOR ONE kitten HIT. Plus the extremly overpowered slowing. Viper thief got it once up to 8 seconds on me. And what if your cleanse got wasted for one of this? well, there will be another Essence Sap.

That thief is the main class for 1on1 is ok. Well if people need to use it, ok. But why give them the strongest skill per STEALING? Which isnt even a regular skill from Revenant, its a downed auto attack, gosh. This needs some serious rework.

Rev is still ok imo but they keep making changes that make playing Shiro feel more and more clunky and frustrating while simultaneously neglecting to rework lesser used Legends like Jalis and Ventari. I also just generally dislike the whole Mallyx setup because it’s only really good for Pain Absorption and I suppose to a lesser extent Unyielding Anguish but it just feels so much less cool than it could be. They also keep nerfing the weapons. So every patch I just feel more and more limited and generally annoyed with the class. It makes it worse knowing that I have to wait another three months to see any potential changes.

Yep, its not like when you meet another class and you dont clearly know what skills they picked. Go use rev for a few months, and then fight other revs. Its SO predictable since stances provide no skillchoices. So the weapons were kinda important, but yes youre right, Nerfenant.

Every class is sometimes unwanted in WvW. This is highly dependend on the cmd. Cmds are, in rare cases, asking for a specific class. For example you got a 50man squad and 2 guards. If you get kicked out of the squad several times, attend to your servermeeting and let them know. If this is bring ignored just change to another Server then.

Seriously. JUST REMOVE THAT PART OF THE PATCH. It cant be that with eeeevery patch you guys ruin something and then struggle to fix what was fine before! Its ruining the gameplay so much. I’m activating Facet of Elements instantly in every kitten fight. This seriously cant be.

Rev would be good if basic bugs would get fixed. Try to fight a mesmer with sword: PS will hit envoirmental walls and flag poles, maybe one projectile will hit an illusion. Same with UA, youre like if you hit once.

since the latest hotfix the WvW NPCs arent visible at all. You just see their names when you are close. Character limitation on “Medium” did still show NPCs. Now I can stand right next to them and theyre invisible, even if I click them. When targeted, they got no avatar (see screenshot).

EDIT: regular envoirmental NPCs are still shown like the Hyleks or rabbits. Enemy guards are also NOT shown.

EDIT2: If you knock an enemy guard off its place, for example a sentry npc, then the Name will still be in place, the actual NPC will be tossed wherever the knockback tossed it.

Yep, highly annoying. They removed the map completition in WvW but dont auto unlock waypoints.

Did this somehow solved the issue? Havent seen UA bugging out since patch, or they did accidently fix it.

If you cant play thief, go away. Its the easiest class for wvw roaming atm, (jump in – nuke – low hp? run away/stealth – heal – nuke again)x repeat

The damage from 1 needle trap and steal won’t cause you to be at 10% health apparently you don’t even know how much damage those condies actually do, now if you spam skills while having confusion you deserve it..

Actually only those 2 skills can kill you. You cleanse mostly the cripple away and some other useless stuff, prolly left with confusion, poison and bleeding.

I don’t see it on “known bug list” and I ’ve asked in another thread and someone replied its intended. Still, its listed here so I thought of asking here as well.

How about juggernaut effect that doesnt even affect the backpack. Looks seriously dumb when you draw the weapon and the backpack is pointing out with original dyes that cant be even changed.

Yep. There is no kittening scissor.

There’s offensive builds (zerker), defensive builds (bunker) and DOT builds (condi). From what I’ve read, each build is good against one and not so good against the other. You seem to be asking for Rock (bunker) to be able to shake off damage from both zerker bursts and condi DOTs. It may not be the best possible system, but they’ve set it up this way on purpose.

So what would you call a shaman apoth burn ranger with smokescale?

I don’t think GW2 has a Holy Trinity setup.

Exactly theres no counter triangle. A Dire build is hard to counter with both, bunker and attack. Go full nomad then with full cleanse? Ye, depends on the class. But its an endless fight since you cant damage anything except envoirmental creatures.

This would break the skill caltrops and uncatchable. Thief drops caltrops . Thief then Stealths . Enemy runs into caltrops field to reveal thief. If I am fighting a stealth thief and see those little red circles from uncatchable, I am running into them. I will take the bleed in return for a reveal.

In essence you eliminate traps caltrops and uncatchable from stealth thief builds as they become akin to the old last refuge and get thieves killed.

If I was a thief wanting to use stealth I would never select those skills .

Except that you are actively choosing to engage by placing down caltrops/traps. Uncatchable(trait) needs a rework period.

You should be forced to chose the relative safety of stealth, or the attack of opportunity provide from leaving stealth, not both at the same time as that leaves 0 room for counter-play outside of nuke at my feet and cleanse.

As hinted at earlier the problem is how stealth is implemented in the game. It’s silly and far too long lasting in most cases.

Same can be said about all the invulns being thrown around while still being able to damage players.

Nobody can be perma invulnrerable like a thief or mesmer can be perma stealthed. You comparission is silly.

Portal stomp is used after they down you at least. The perma-stealth never revealed thief kills you without any possible counter or way to deal with them at all. It’s an “I win and you can’t do anything” button. And lol at cleanse. They will re-apply conditions faster than you can remove them, unless you are an Ele maybe. And they will still be in stealth all the time. It’s pathetic design.

That’s a huge understatement, again the majority of there conditions are on relying that you stand in their Aoe fields and tied to hefty CDs 20 sec for steal and 25 secs plus on traps.

You know that the thieves just STAND on you and drop traps,kite in stealth and then if trap isnt on CD they just put it again, until youre dead. 3 stacks confusion with steal which doesnt reveal them, and you heal once and youre dead by confusion. GG.

I keep telling my enemies in WvW to stop moving so I dont have to press anything but Sword3. If I dont move while casting it, theres only a 50% chance of getting bugged AWESOME but they mostly dont listen to me.

doing this renders certain profs useless, the condi dmg is the only one that doesn’t have any stat stopping this.

Please read my thread again. You get Soldier stats and gain 35%less physical damage, so it should be with condi aswell.

Condi is the easiest way of dealing damage since its just ONE stat providing it.

This thread will probably get ignored by developers, but I take my chance:

Everyone whos not running Dire in WvW knows how toxic condi builds are with freecasting and a huge defense.
My suggestion to give it a simple fix; every 10 Toughness points give 0,15% condi damage reduced. My orientation was the 3k-3,5k toughness run with knights or soldier builds which I consider to be defense. So the maximum you can reduce is 45%-52.5% and I think those are acceptable numbers. Berserker and other full damage builds would be able to reduce it by basic given toughness with like 15%.
I suggest the reduction of the damage not the duration, so soft CC is still possible which I consider to be important. You can set those 0,15% on 0,1% of course, its just an example (Maximum lowered damage then: 30-35%).

Pros:

No need to seperate WvW and PvE in this case. I dont know if physical build PvPers would like it. PvE would be automatically uneffected in outgoing condi, incomming condi would be reduced for people with high def armor.

Easy fix for the condi creep. No need for additional stats. No need for new arrangement of existing stats.

Defensive players get rewarded by also being able to sustain condi now.

Strategic softCC still

Cons:

I dont know how PvP people would like this, maybe seperate. A poll could be useful or beta testing.

Many condi users will fill the forum with complains.

To the forum warriors:
If there are more contructive points for Pros and Cons, please let me know and I will edit my list.

I realized it today several times, thought I was accidently doubleclicking. But no, if I click onto the Facet for the buff, and press just a little to long, it activates Elemental blast at my position. This should be 3 seperate clicks. But its actually just one.

This happend so far with:
Facet of Light (always, WvW and PvE)
All other Facets activate instantly sometimes in WvW only, I guess due to minilags.

Somehow it doesnt happen with other Facets on Revenant or the F2 ability.

Since it happens in PvE aswell I’m expection instant hotfixes.

Fractals have been added to the game in November 2012. What do we have now? 2016.
And still, were not able to link gear WITH the infusions being shown like runes and sigils.

  • Power of the mist rewards showed as a buff with server name and percentages, to players of that world in wvw and pve. (That’s if the rewards stay with the skirmish score changes). Perhaps if pve players see the buffs they get from wvw they may want to help in wvw more.

Yea, if you want to get a full server with some pve people only caring for “Power of the mist” and the rest to be on Raid or fractals, THATS exactly what you do. People wont help, people move where the “Mist” reward is constant since you dont need to worry about servers if you play PvE only.

Bug exsists since gw2 started, has never been fixed. dont wait for it to happen.

Maybe there are some bugs since start. But the current one isn’t related (we can’t complete many Bounty/Trek mission guild for example).

Still not fixed, but I’m so happy they reduced the Energy cost of some underwater bullkitten. /Sarcasm off

I’m so glad that of all my reported Bugs, they fix that shield 4 does heal when blinded, since before it didnt. Because THAT was so important.

Oh lets fix UA, whoops we bugged it even more, well:

UA gets you stuck almost every time. Bit annoying though in WvW and PvP, you know? Its the worst patch (story is actually fine) I’ve ever seen. I REALLY thought they gonna fix major Rev problems, but actually made it worse. Thanks, no joy anymore.
