Yes, this. Also when trying to hit a guard with UA at speldan (wvw-eb) you sometimes get ported out of screen range and back in like half a second. Anet doesnt care for Revenant. This problem is exsisting since 2 years.

Its been like this since 5 years. Anet wont do anything. Its the major cause for the high usage of guardian + staff1 spamming. You just keep 1 pressed and run through the blobs. Still works after staff nerf

Seriously, warriors are crying? Vanilla warrior is still extremly strong in pvp/wvw. and both elite specs are strong. Warrior is the loving child of Anet, they just had to nerf it due to its massive usage.

envoy of exuberance doesnt have to get nerfed in its healing. Its already low. Shield is mostly useless. Adding a cleansing is a needed thing to get it useable.
And Staff 2 needs faster casting.

You must have bought some magical unicorn horseshoes from the gemstore, cause that’s probably a years worth of playtime not 30 days.
I was talking about rings and occasional chests. Thats not worth years of playtime. People usually throw ascended rings away. I have them clogging up one box in my bank, everything doubled: trash. And most ppl I know have the same problem.

Its the thing I mostly miss in WvW right now:
3 slots (like the shared inventory slots) where you can store an Item, and a link to it on the UI. So you can use it for food, siege in WvW, or toilet paper. Whatever you prefer. I would even pay on gemstore for it.
Or just make it able to link the shared inventory slots themselves on the UI (Above/under minimap for example).
- The new legendary invocation Kalla is the patchwork of someone who didnt play Revenant before. The damage is freaking low, the energy costs are above the roof, theres no synergy with old weaps/traits, the spawned Charrs are immobile, dont even chill, are able to be killed with 3 hits (oh yes imagine WvW AoE: Charrs gone in half a second) and also are able to be CCed so the healing Charr doesnt heal. Congrats
- We still dont have underwater skills for Jalis, Herald, Ventari. Kalla will probably get no underwater version too
- Sword 2 and Sword 3 are still hitting random targets, sword 3 even hits imaginary targets which are way out of range
- Hammer 2 still breaks on uneven ground
- Staff 2 is still the most useless and most slow-motion-animated skill like ever, 100g if you hit a thief with it
- Axe 4 fails to hit even if target is in range but moving for like 50% of the time
- I dont even start about the Shortbow skills introduced with Renegade: Theyre underpowered while extremly hard to land successfully.
- F-skills on Kalla? Are you kidding me.
Before you add more and more bugs and untested stuff to Revenant, could you please get it out of its BETA?
With every patch I hope for bugfixes. Now I dont care for Renegade comming expansion, yes give them Weaver, Soulbeast etc. I dont care. Delete Renegade. But give us more variables in skillchoices, rework the energy/CD-system. It cant be that theres no effort put into Revenant as it is now.
Throwing new legends which are more broken and unfinished as Revenant is right now wont help.
Are you kidding? Anet put so much time and effort into weaver and all the other nice elite specs. There was barely time for renegade and you can see it. You could feel it when playing it. It was just some skills randomly thrown together with NO synergy towards other weapons/traits.

Kalla legendary is useless. Just wait until they boost it. Or until they just remove it and create something new.
You know that for other legendaries you use gold on mats above the 300g, which you will then never use because… theyre gone.
And you cry about buying a tag which can be used in wvw even for scouts. Yes, its not just something you buy for 300g and the forge it. No. You still get to use it.

How would that word keep women away from gaming? How would it keep anyone away who actually wants to play regardless of the gender? If you cant stand insults, go play Hearthstone. If you dont block that person because you feel offended by the usage of a word, its your fault.

Its a gift for old chars which doesnt give you any benefit at all except the skin. Just wait. By adding another way of obtaining these, all those 5 year old character will have a less worthy reward. So by giving you the skin on an easier way, all others will be “less” special.
I’m so thrilled, I just cant wait to get my 5000 Karma container!

played it for the past 5 hours only wvw. for a wvw player the bow is a nice addition (could use some tweaks but not bad) but the skills are awful. It seems to me if they made the renegade spirits invulnerable then that would make a world of difference (and it would make sense because they are ghost after all). As is, they just die when summoned from all the aoe. If it remains this way i could see this, at best, as just using the trait line without the legend, which would be a real bummer because then i wouldn’t have access to dragon stance.
I absolutely agree that they should be invuln, I also think that they should move with the player.
Exactly! I play WvW only, and how am I supposed to use Kalla when the Charrs get removed after half a second or geht CCed. The concept itself is terrible. It doesnt suit rev, and is completly useless.
Nerfenant stays Nerfenant. Most unsupported class in GW2.
Look at weaver. Look at the immense underwater skill-list they worked through. Now look at rev, gosh im so kittened that this class gets ignored constantly
Why are so many people happy with sb 3 & 4 damage? Yes, sb 3 apply up to 7 stacks of torment, but they last for 3 sec! Compare it to mace 3 that apply 5 stack for 10(!) sec for half the cost in energy or axe 5 – 3 torment stacks for 8 sec on top of 3 confusion stacks and cc. And sb 4? 1 sec of burn each pulse for 15 energy opposed to mace 2 with 4 sec burn per pulse for 5 energy – it does same burn damage in all 4 pulses as mace 2 does in 1 pulse! I think they both are very lacking. Just multiply amount of stacks on duration and you will see where low damage is coming from. Sb 5 is fine i guess because it is cc, but it is same damage as sb4 in total again. All that leaves 2 attacks 1 of which is auto.
Ye, but directly comparing the energy input an the damage output, shortbow is seriously underpowered. Skill 3 is extremly diffifcult to be used AS a nuke in a single target, an is useless against more.

hmm, the guy is a caster who is called Icerazor, and he clearly shoots bolts of ice at the enemy
yet he cripples and causes vulnerability, the two most useless conditions due to their ineffectiveness and the fact that vuln is one of the most common conditions to just passively apply.
No sign of chill on the ice themed guy who specialises in debilitation :/

So first of all I was super excited for getting a condi ranged weapon. The Kalla skills already looked pretty basic and lame, so I was expecting Shortbow skills to be high condi DPS, and mobility.
Renegade is lacking all.
- There is not a single “chilled” effect on shortbow, missing synergy with other condi traits
- Autoattack is terribly low dps
- skill 2 feels useless
- skill 3 is actually high dps, but extremly hard to land all 7 arrows on a single target
- skill 4 is actually quite good
- skill 5 has extremly low damage for a skill with 20 energy and 10 s cd
- Shortbow all in one: Its like afk autohitting with a low dps ranger LB. I had high hopes for Shortbow to be a movement heavy weapon, but instead its immobile and low dps. You have to choose one option. If you want to keep the skill animations and function as they are, add more damage and add some chilled effects to synergise with the corruption traitline
- Citadel Bombardement: WAY too much energy! And low damage for those 40 energy
- The alacrity and Favor renewal? Who came up with this, its ABSOLUTLY useless.
- All Kalla skills feel like wells which are doing also low damage and are pretty immobile.
Possible Solution: Make the animated Charrs (as theyre attackable anyway) to be spawned like mesmer illusions: You hit the skill, the Charr spawns as AI. The skill then turns into a special skill dedicated to the spawned Charr. Like a “charge at your target” whatever.
EDIT: what the others found too, which I forgot:
- The spawned Charrs have a low HP pool, absolutly useless in WvW, as a single player can take it down in 2 sec
- The spawned Charrs are being able to be CC’ed
- The Kalla Utilities also do low damage, the heal is ridiculous (its almost like regen, and nothing else)
- The Kalla Utilities dont cleanse, Revenants weakness
- The traitline is almost only about Kallas Favor, which is absolutly useless.
TLDR: Traits are a joke, Utilities are for Roleplay-Furries only, Shortbow is interesting though extremly underpowered with no mobility. My guess is, that Kalla WONT be used as legend, only the possibility to use shortbow will probably be used (speaking of spvp and wvw). Then you lack the usage of the Favor-only-traits.
Am I the only one thinking that way?

The eastern part of Overlook on EB is ridiculously close to the keep. You cant even glide off its own cliffs. You cant even glide south from Waypoint when Ogrewatch isnt yours. Those outer walls on south are not able to glide on from keep as long as OW isnt yours. They clearly belong to the keep, not OW.
Make the cliffs on Overlooks east side accessable again please, we already cant fly into OW with stability, so why still have the narrow border?

Its about the traits in the end. Every player has like 35 traits, alot of them are “when you attack you enemy from the side”, “when your enemy has 25% health”, “when you dodge” blabla. Tons of it, for every class.
Now you got a fight in 50vs50 which COULD get laggy if you dont have effect LOD on, which is another issue.
But mainly its the server calculations which cause the lag, happening in 50vs50vs50 every time. you have 150 players with traits which all need to be calculated. With 150 people theres ALOT of traits for calculation. And yes ofc, condi pushes into lag even more.
Anet simply doesnt have the hardware to calculate this all. Also the calculations have to reach every single player individually (combat log), needs calculations too.
Better make the national servers international ones, WvW pairings are mostly the same. They dont know how to respond to salty whispers, mostly just “Hello”. no seriously, since megaservers are a thing now, national servers are obsolete. Go to school, learn english and youre fine. Got 110 points in my TOEFL test thanks to GW2.

Im a WvW player, I’m used to toxic condis. Was easy taking them down, just had a bit more HP. Dunno why people die to this. Just get 1-2 cleanses and dodge a bit. I know that off-raid PvE players are not used to dodge or cleanse,

Well the tablet isnt for every situation. Why should it be fast when it heals 14k on allies? Its just perfect if you use it correctly. If you need to safe yourself go use staff and jump away with mallyx
You need to cast it to where they are going, not where they’re currently at, necessarily.
That summarizes how to use staff in general.
Ye, bit brain usage would help. Also just target their cmd, look where hes going and then set meteor infront of him, so when it goes down, all the people following him get hit. Not a problem. Just practice

Since Revenant is still buggy AF since it never got out of BETA phase, no. Maybe we get some bugfixes with new expac. Ye, I always have the hope up. Just fix what is bugged, then add something.
So, everyone who crafts the precursor for Juggernaut get the chromatic Ooze which will apply perma quicksilver effect on the character even when weapons are not drawn.
So everyone who just got the precursor, before or after HoT, and then crafted the Juggernaut will have the effect on dawn weapons only. And no gizmo. Juggernaut should come with its effect even when weapon is not drawn. But thats just my opinion.
The movement of the tablet is extremly good in WvW. You can move it right through your moving blob from last person to cmd, and heal like hell. Its not clunky if you set your keys for the healskill on an additional mouse button. Ventari in its mechanic is now ideal.
The only thing missing is a ground indicator for its area of heal.
If you move the tablet to your target, use Harmony instantly so the heal will occur when the tablet has reached its location.
I agree in 1v1 as you’ve shown it is not impressive.
However, when fighting against guilds doing CoR bombs it is undeniably over powered.
27k HP + 3300 armour = instantly downed
Dont let them pirateship, and when theyre behind the melee-kitten just organize a focus party. Whats the matter? Ele Meteor does more damage. Have 5 Meteors → all who cant dodge are dead.
CoR has a slow animation which can be dodged by just walking sidewards. When hitting a 15k CoR crit, either the Rev or/and you are glasscannons. I have 3000 strength, 70% crit rate and 210% crit damage, I dont hit above 9k since most of WvW players have some defense.
Ever since condi rev became popular I’ve been really sad about mace 2 have the same issue that hammer 2 has ._.
Im talking about Vengeful Hammers here.
1. Hammers still disappear for no reason
1.1 in this case, they sometimes still drain energy
2. Hammers disappear when walking next to a tree, rock
3. Hammers disappear sometimes when fighting a Veteran NPC (WvW Camp Guards without RI)
4. The heal isnt adjusted in WvW
5. Hammers disappear when fighting on stairs or other uneven ground
And Anet doesnt give a kitten. Theres literally nothing theyre doing to fix Revenant bugs. They implemented Rev with complicated skills and now theyre bugged like hell. To complicated now to waste their time on it.
Anyone even looking into those massive Rev bugs or does no1 care? This bug has been reported since months. Hammer bugs have been reported since HoT. Why is NOTHING happening? Who cares for legend balance if Anet cant even fix the legend skills!
