Its both .. in the end the “wrong traits” will cost you much more damage than using
the “wrong gear”.
At least if the “wrong gear” is something like knights, soldiers or even celestial and

Its always soooo funny when people ask for more enemy AI in trinity games.

Enemies beeing dumb as hell is the only reason that trinity works. If they are
not totally dumb they would simply kill the healer first, then the DDs, and
ignore the tank till the end.

And at that point any trinity game would suddenly be unplayable.

PSUs are “aging”. That means they don’t give the full power anymore after some years.

If that happens you simply may run into the problem that your PC shuts down or
reboots as soon as your hardware wants more power thany your PSU can deliver.

Since GW2 is very demanding on your hardware it will maybe reach that point
earlier than other programs.

What you can try is limit your FPS to 60 or even 30 and set down some other options
and look if it works longer then.

Maybe your PSU has aged.

Yepp .. thats what i meant. People always say : farm gold .. but outside of dungeons
there is not really much gold to farm.

In the end you farm mats, but if those are not the mats you want, but somebody
else has the mats you wants you exchange them with them via trading post and
only in the middle of that process you get gold from selling your stuff.

Ok, in that case you can maybe buy underwater weapons at an NPC or at the TP.
I think (but am not 100% sure) that you can use underwater weapons still at
level 2 .. you only don’t get one now on a new character, so you need to buy one
if you want to use it earlier.

Its like you say : it must be my car when i need 1 hour to city A that is hundred miles
away but i need 4 hours to city B that is also hundred miles away and where you have

Have you ever tried to farm gold when you don’t like dungeons ? Its also “not realistic”.
You get maybe 20 silver in an hour. And yes, i farmed a lot T6 blood, claws and fangs
directly .. however mostly to sell them for gold, to buy other stuff from that gold.

The whole game simply lives from the trading. The dungeon runner have the gold,
the open world players have the mats.

Besides Dungeons there is no “gold-grind” .. 99% of the gold i earn is in the end
from selling crafting mats. And before we got the champions bags i was even
mostly farming T6 mats.

If you want to use skins when leveling .. at least use only skins for chest and legs.
And then buy for example yellow items that last for 15 levels instead of blue or
green that you change every 5 levels.

The only real challenge there is for tanks and healers .. and we see how people

You should maybe vistit other areas of the game than Orr. I say Orr since i think
those bags only drop there. In other areas mobs drop directly mats.

In Orr in the beginning the undead only dropped T6 dust and i think the bags
were a fix for that because people constantly complained that they only got
worthless dust.

Then came the time when dust was suddenly 1 gold worth
And finally we got the possibility to salvage ectos.

If it’s the mission I’m thinking of (human level 10 story mission) then you don’t actually need to kill the drakes, what you want is to interact with the chest past them to get fuses, which can be done without killing a single drake.

Dredgehaunt Cliffs, when you leave Holebrak the first hut at the left.
Every 12 minutes there starts the event with the veteran possible partner where you
just have to talk to that guy and after fighting him kill the Svanir Shaman following
the way to the left.

Those are 2 fast events that i used a lot for leveling before Megaservers. With guesting
it were 6 events every 12 minutes .. 30 events per hour ^^

However after an hour you run into DR.

I have never had a problem with the bi-weekly system, i log in every day anyhow but this post is hilarious (or sad) if you remember all the calls for an expansion.

And the fun will really begin when 1-2 weeks after release of the expansion all those
people that have burned through the content cry again for new content and then
have to waiter anoter 1-2 year for the next expansion.

Btw.: for me i was totally happy with LS1 .. and would have been happy if they
had continued that concept.

thanks for the reply on my thread about low framerates, I installed the omega driver 14.12 for both chipset and GPU and the game runs fine now, so now my brother has perfect framerates and is happy with the game

I wonder what drivers you have used. None of the drivers that were release in the
last year gave me problems with my FPS. Only problem i had with the drivers
released in the second half of 2014 were that i more often had driver crashes.

At the moment i use the latest beta drivers, and very very seldom crashes now.

65 skill challenges. Even if you take 1 minute per skill challenge, that’d take more than an hour. If you are creating a new toon for WvW (or your current toon is all WvW and no map completion), you’d have to open the map as you won’t be able to just WP near the skill challenges. Definitely a grind.

Yeah .. It tooks longer of course, since mostly if you don’t have the challenges you
also haven’t explored the maps, so you first need to run there and then find
the points.

Did that with some characters that were around 40-45 points, and it more or less
took me 2-3 hours to get those 20-25 points each time.

Of course other people may know all maps soo good that they find all those challenges
blindly, and know exactly what route to run to make the 65 fastest ^^

There are Vistas at the end of some JPs. So going for a map clear is problematic for some.

Why is that “problematic”?

It takes 2 hours to clear the map instead of 1 hour?

As mentioned above, a handful of the jumping puzzles are needed for world completion. In addition to Vizier’s Tower, there are also Wall Breach Blitz and Tribulation Scaffolding that lead to vistas.

All of them can be portaled by a Mesmer, at least.

A nice mesmer that made me portals for Vizier’s Tower, and Tribulation Scaffolding
made me finally finish my 100% map after over 6000 hours played .. lol
Ahh .. and i finally made my 100% Shiverpeaks, what was my initial goal for that
kitten ed thing in Dredgehaunt Cliffs.

Wall Breach Blitz is not that bad since you don’t fall to death there normally if you

Try the newest beta drivers. I had that problem also often starting with some
driver release in the middle of last year, but with the last beta i had yesterday
the first crash since 3-4 weeks maybe.

Or else try maybe drivers from the beginning of last year.

Email authentication will eventually learn the range of your IP addresses, and won’t ask you to ‘remember’ them.

Of course you have to check the box that it should remember your actual IP for that to work.

After 4-5 times normally it won’t ask you again.

I always use traveller .. better alround stats and especially the +boon duration
is also very nice.

Speed i only use on my mesmer, since i very seldom play her and thus i just
wanted something cheaper.

Also tip : if you have black lion salvage kits buy armor with the runes and salvage

You buy gems. You use gems to to buy gold directly or you use gems to buy keys for black lion chests and sell the results on the black market.

You simply don’t get it that this does not create gold. Its a trade. The gold is already
in the game, and is just shifted from the gem-buyer to the gold-buyer.

Else you could also say that the TP creates gold .. oh look i sold 10 powerful blood
and bang .. 5 gold appeared out of nothing.

What I have noticed about Guild War’s 2 is ALL the Gold coming into the game comes from the Gem store.

Exactly 0 gold comes into the game from the gem store. It even removes gold.

It’s really quite simple:

1) Mobs have attacks that affect you.
2) Mobs can be easily avoided.
3) Mob attacks can be dodged.
4) Mob attacks can be blocked.
5) Cripple, etc can be easily removed using a number of skills at your disposal.

Result: Yes, it can be annoying, but you have tools to deal with it. Do so.

I would however wish that removing it would maybe give you some kind of
immunity against that condition for a while.

That is really the most annyoing thing, that as soon as you remove something
you already have the next condition but of course now a long recast on your
removal skill.

FGS train is not very good these days, after 4 hours I got 20g.. thats selling everything..

FGS train has never been really that good.

In the end it was something like 6 bags every 10 minutes, so if we say a bag is worth
18s thats 6.48 g per hour.

Everything else is pure luck.

Drop of T6 mats is very random. I can tell you at least for Frostgorge Sound, that
there doesn’t exist any DR for drop of T5 / T6 mats, since i have farmed there
a lot at least in 2013, and even if i farmed the same spot for 8 hours the droprate
was the same beside the RNG ..

The RNG however made me get sometimes 12 per 30 minutes, and then only 2
for 30 minutes.
