This is lovely but… HOW do I change the email address associated with GW2?
The only thing I can find in account options to change is my password.
‘Remember this network’ makes me think that I am allowing more than my one single IP.
The word network makes me think of multiple IPs and so should be changed to something more obvious as the single IP.
I did not tick it the first few times because I did not want to allow a network access.
Also, it errors a lot after authenticating.
You are a twit lol. You wanted to play a Warrior since headstart but you almost maxed out a Guardian instead. That’s funny.
Soulbound stuff is lost if you intend to delete the character (which would be stupid…), salvage it if you can.
Gifts of Exploration are account bound not soul bound so you can still use them on other toons.
i don’t understand this forum anyways, but yes its for developers.
thought it was like blizzards forums, where blizz always look through the forums ^^
warriors are simple as hell, which makes them boring, i would want them to redo that class
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum lists the forum categories.
Right above this one (Players helping players) is the Suggestions category. It would make sense to put suggestion there…
The Dev’s do read them but Devs associated with gameplay are more likely to read suggestions than players helping players. In this category you are more likely to get customer support/forum moderators reading your messages and they don’t get to make game changes.
Perhaps it was a bug or some super special story mission. (I forgot to mention you have to be partied up, I assumed you were in a party with him)
Me and my friends have never encountered any issues getting into each others story missions.
Yes your L80 friend can join you in your story quests, he only has to be on the same map as you when you enter it and he will be prompted to join you (he can refuse it if he wants).
There is no restriction on race/class etc for this.
Many players fear a warrior with an offhand axe, or so I’m told. I fear no one lol.
To copy the appearance of one item to another item you use transmutation stones.
You can get transmutation stones from the gem store or from completing a map 100%.
Basic transmutation stones are for L1-79 items.
Fine transmutation stones are for any items but save them for L80 items.
To transmute an item:
- Double click a transmutation stone (or right click it and select use). This will open the transmutation window.
- Drag the item with the stats you want into one side of the transmutation window.
- Drag the item with the skin/appearance you want into the other side of the transmutation window.
- Click the desired skin/appearance in the transmutation window. This will slide your option into the center, removing the unwanted skin/appearance.
- Click the desired item stats in the transmutation window. This will slide your option into the center, removing the unwanted item stats.
- Click the desired upgrade in the transmutation window. This will slide your option into the center, removing the unwanted upgrade. (You still need this step even if neither item has upgrades slotted).
Click Done or Transmute or whatever the submit button is called.
Equip your transmuted item.
Edit: not going to get caught up in an argument over phrasing. Suffice it to say that when you are throwing around insults in a discussion, you should expect to be attributed a position that actually opposes that of the side you are insulting.
It is common to align people on one side or the other yes, that’s why I corrected the assumption or at least challenged it.
I don’t have a solution for the problem of training, but I understand it as a problem and I understand why people do it and don’t care about the consequences for other people. I think those people are selfish as what they do impacts on others negatively and forcibly, whereas wanting to not be the victim of a train does not directly have a negative effect on other players.
Meh, I expect the current lot of MMO gamers to care little about other players so I tend to expect training in games that it matters.
Society promotes a ‘me-first’ attitude so we shouldn’t be surprised that it leaks into the way people play games. If getting you killed will save them then you are out of luck.
Yet you are asking people to stop and fight just because you can’t be bothered to also avoid the creatures they are avoiding. Is that not equally selfish?
I never said that. Please don’t make up things and attribute them to me.
Thank you for this list, I was only missing Ulukks Hunger.
I wish there were complete lists for the other zones (considering you were only missing one which was mentioned in the first reply), people seem to have posted partial lists but no other complete ones like this. awesome.

If you hover your cursor (mouse pointer) over the tool it tells you what it is for…
Tooltips are your friends.
GW2 wiki a little bare? it has over 10k articles lolol. The game is just jam-packed with content.
Mark Love.6274 saidMaybe this is too simple, but is the solution not to out-run the train too, possibly following the guy that got you that gift?
Why should you have to leave the area you are intentionally in just because some loser ran a bunch of mobs at you.
Training is poor MMO etiquette, but some people are just MMO-schmucks and either oblivious to other gamers and this don’t care about any other player’s game experience or do it intentionally for the same reason.
You should wait a while before bumping your posts Avatar. Both your posts currently say ‘about 5 hours ago’ so you obviously didn’t wait long at all.
I say this because the Mods don’t like it and you can save yourself some trouble as the powers associated with GW2 like to stick to their Rules/Code of Conduct (which is a great thing IMO).
On-topic: Yes WvW is easy, party up before or after heading into WvW, they are just big open areas to capture/control and defend.
for sPvP it gets a bit trickier. You can both join the same rotating pvp matchup but may end up fighting against each other half the time. I have heard some people say you can party up and then enter free tournaments as a party to play sPvP together but I have not yet tested that theory.
There is certainly no pure dedicated healer class, but all classes can spec into their traits and skills for a certain degree of healing, some better than others.
Whats ASEAN? +15charlimit
It is possible that the TP tries to sell a suppliers complete amount in a single trade, so if a buyer purchases 100 copper the TP would make the sale from a seller who listed exactly 100 copper.
The full stacks may be favoured for small sales and not show as sold until the full amount is sold.
I’m just speculating here though.
Lol. If people are going nuts over it then they need to relax a bit. It is a game and things will at time need maintenance.
The benefits of no direct trade out-weigh the negatives.
If you are in a party with someone and they are in the same map/zone as you and then you enter a story instance the other party members will get a request to join you in it which they can accept or refuse.
1: You don’t log into anyone’s site with GW credentials. XD
1: People do use the same credentials though and end up losing their accounts to the gold sellers.
Anet have been trying to tell people not to spread the same credentials around but new hacked accounts show up every day because far too many players are careless.
230 hours over 25 days on my main character.
Personally I have soloed all my Warrior story (up till the last one which I haven’t done yet, waiting for guildies).
They can certainly be difficult and I love that about them.
Swear in /guild if that’s the sort of crowd you run with.
Swear in /party
Swear at your RL family.
Get super-nasty in whispers. It’s only public channels that will get you right-clicky reported.
If you get super-nasty in whispers you can be reported by the recipient.
It doesn’t matter what channel you are using in-game you can be reported if someone who reads it decides to report you.
There are a number of jumping puzzles chests that are bugged. I hope you guys did a bug report because the more people that report it the more they will realise it’s not a player-mistake or isolated issue and get it fixed.
You can farm dungeons for armor tokens, this is the intended use of dungeons. You can no longer farm dungeons for cash or exp, this was not intended use of dungeons.
Now things are working as intended.
Move along people, nothing to see in this thread.
I am certain that story missions are intentionally challenging. This makes them feel more ‘epic’ and like you actually achieved something when you finish them.
In that case Adzy it is considered an offensive word in it’s own right, without directing it at anyone in particular. It’s not something I personally understand but I acknowledge that it offends so many people.
vista + skill point, really hard to jump plus all those argo mobs AHHHHHH
REALLY ANNOYING ,,,,, suggestion, just put skill point on ground with harder boss fight
kittenol. (EDIT: hahaha, T-R-O-L-O-L-O is filtered? does it have a meaning I am not aware of?)
Try killing the mobs, this will remove the speed debuff you get from combat and make the entire thing easier.
(edited by Bluestone.7106)
Cripple them. Immobilise them. Charge/Knockdown them.
Have at least one available and save it for the fleeing enemy.
I enjoy the challenge that the story missions pose. It makes you think more carefully about how you approach a battle and so rules out the gung-ho attitude that other MMOs promote.
Please don’t butcher my story quests by making them kitten-friendly (I actually used the word kitten there btw).
Currently its a bit of a sneaky work-around but you can transfer to the other servers while they own certain WvW territory and run around all their claimed camps with little or no resistance. Then transfer back to your original homeworld.
This requires the servers to not be “Full” at the time.
Or alternatively you can wait till the WvW matches reset and then jump in when everything is fresh to get the POI’s and Vistas. Each new matchup should change the main map of your homeworld.
Basically, it is impossible to out-level content. All content is viable (and remains viable) once you reach it’s “minimum” level.
Norn, not Nord.
The order’s (Vigil, Priory, Whispers) are not race specific btw.
If you speak to the three representatives they will tell you how they each approach problems. Pick the one that appeals to you most.
While playing Guild Wars 2, you must respect the rights of others and their rights to play and enjoy the Game. To this end, you may not defraud, harass, threaten, embarrass or cause distress and/or unwanted attention to other players. This includes posting insulting, offensive, or abusive comments about players, repeatedly sending unwanted messages, reporting players maliciously, attacking a player based on race, sexual orientation, religion, heritage, etc. Hate speech is not tolerated.
Is the applicable part of the Rules of Conduct (which are presented in a very easy to read way: https://www.guildwars2.com/en/legal/guild-wars-2-rules-of-conduct/ )
There is no reason why the rules would suddenly change.
Plus its better to prevent complaints by banning foul mouthed people than it is to tell other people to harden up.
Okay, today I went to look at the WvW stats and all that stuff when I’m told you can’t look at that while your on an overflow server.
Why is that important? Why can’t we just be on overflow servers without queuing up? Is there something I’m missing, why is it SO freaking important that I move. Yes I know … you can leave the queue but that seems like a bad idea if you are now being penalized for being on these locations (aka if you want to look at WvW info).
What else can I not see while I’m on this dreaded, harsh, bad version of my world called …. wait for it … overflow!
Seriously, I’m just wanting to understand the reasoning so I can make a better judgement of my location in the game.
You don’t like overflow? So you would rather be outside the game waiting in a queue?…
I would rather be in an overflow than outside the game waiting in a queue.
Overflow not only removes the need for queues to get into the game it also lets them have more people in game/on a world at a time since any player with a server as their homeworld can log in without delay.
No one needs to die ever if one plays smart utilising all that Anet have made available to a player.
They have disabled the catapult entirely now.
I can see them on this page and most pages but not the thread I wanna do it on and I can see others have done quotes on that thread
what
the
heck
xD
***cry***
The thread may be locked.
In the bottom right corner of your post I can see 3 icons.
‘Quote this User’ is the first one on the left (an arrow pointing left).
It does post to chat when a friend logs in. I forget which option enables/disables it.
I have customised my chat tabs and the notification shows in the tab I have called ‘System’ which does non-conversation stuff like combat log.
Trailer didn’t make any sense until the lady ‘grew’ the norn tattoos.
Waste of funding prior to that IMO.
From all your responses I am left with one last reply, that Warrior might not be easy enough for you.
Ok so you have a situation that you come across often, you get immobilised/stunned/knocked down while trying to keep mobile.
Have you considered looking into the Warrior skills and traits to be prepared for that?
You have to dodge or interrupt to avoid the knockdown but you can break stuns and cure immobilisation with the right skills and timing their use well for your escape.
My attitude is that good things take time.
If I want something epic I earn it by putting in the time and effort required, whatever that may be.
Makes the end result so much sweeter.
As everyone who struggles with leveling is told you need to:
- Don’t skip events, if one pops nearby go do it.
- Travel to, and do events/hearts in other zones. Right from the start there are 5 different 1-15 zones, they slowly merge but there is a lot of choice for the majority of leveling.
- Gather from resource nodes. Gathering gives exp.
- 100% zones. You get a big chunk of EXP for 100%, have heard it said it’s 1/4 of a level (heaps of exp at higher levels).
- Revive people, this gives you exp too.
Basically everything gives EXP so the best way to level fast is probably to not skip anything.
…from what I can see there aren’t that many oceanic players.
They are great at hide and seek. Likely MANY more than you think there are, spread out across all servers.
I wouldn’t play on an Oceanic server tho (I’m in NZ).
