Should City Waypoints be free from anywhere?
No. Because the cost is not high at all. I jump all over the map on all my characters including my 80s, I don’t do anything that resembles farming and I make profit every day, I do not think anything needs to change with waypoint costs.
Reports are only the first step in the process. You cannot get banned simply because someone else reports you, it does however mean that ArenaNet will look at your account and see if you are engaging in bot-like activities. In your case I would assume you will be fine, in their case if they are running scripted movements precisely then chances are they will get banned or at least monitored (which they also do).
One time I think you can get over it. If it happens Twice or more then go with harassment and/or spam.
Ruling out all the ingame stuff that you might have forgotten the next step is to file a ticket. It may turn out you were ninja hacked or something else out of your control and in that case they may consider it worthy of a rollback, but that removes any progress you have made since, so choose carefully if you want to proceed over missing 9 gold.
At level 80 you continue playing the game. It is a concept people have had beaten out of them by other games. Do whatever you enjoy.
I know what you mean, same thing happened to me. I had a heap of gold and was just buying stuff off the TP and all of a sudden I noticed my golds were gone!
But on a serious note does anyone else in your house have access to your account? Did you buy something and forget (happens to me sometimes)? Did you die like, thousands of times and repair your armor? Did you use thousands of waypoints in quick succession? lol. Did you put the money in your bank vault/guild vault?
With all of the speed buffs that every other class has, I as a mesmer an a detriment to any dungeon group that wants to move fast. I’m tired of everyone zooming ahead, and either I have to equip a subpar weapon or drag behind.
You are running with rude people. A lot of the speed buffs can help the entire party. As a warrior I keep a warhorn handy to equip for running and I will generally fall back to use it next to whoever is falling behind so they can catch up. It takes little effort for classes with party speed boosts to consider the whole team.
On the other hand, as a Mesmer you can do the same thing and switch out a weapon to get the speed boost just for running then switch back before entering combat. It is only a minor thing but can save you a lot of hassle.
I realise that fundamentally the issue is with players, but most players don’t want to pause or to go slow. And I don’t think that we should have to put up with nastiness just because we play classes with suboptimal speed or occasionally inconvenient real lives. What GW1 did so well was allow folks like us to access the content without the abuse. Please somehow bring it back.
Simple solution is to run with people who know your circumstances. Try out a few groups/guilds and eventually you will find a good group of people that do not mind slight breaks. The group I run with know that when my son needs me I have to go AFK, they don’t mind because they know. If you aren’t willing to try find such a group then maybe you just shouldn’t do dungeons considering your circumstance.

Each time I died (about 10 times) I had to spend 70 copper to revive nomore than a few feet away from where the event was taking place. So 7 silver in revivies plus repair costs all because of the constant 1 hit kills.
Luckily 7s is nothing and can easily be replaced and exceeded.
Jormag’s Claw. One of his champions/lieutenants. Not Jormag. Just in case you or anyone else thinks its Jormag himself…
Do you have any ideas to encourage players to do those type of events more often? Increasing the loot is one option but likely wouldn’t be enough, and the ease of those events would make them farmable which may inflate the economy moreso.
You got a staff member when they told you to change it.
You don’t have to like the staff to realise they call the shots and if they say change a name then deal it with kiddo.
If you really think you should be allowed to use the word Spank in your character names then wait on your submitted support ticket.
Your name wasn’t changed just because someone reported it, the report only brought it to the attention of staff who then decided that yes, it had to change.
And you can’t expect to post in a public forum and not get replies from other players lol. And comments aren’t simply useless when you don’t like the facts. Just seems like you had a bad day and want to take it out on anyone. Relax, have a drink, maybe get some fresh air.
Lololololol. I don’t do christmas or this similar themed event in GW2 and I am just ignoring/avoiding the stuff. No need to come and cry on the forums about the event, just accept that there are people who are enjoying the event and get on with something else in game.
I do not have deluxe game so am only commenting on the things I do know which may or may not help you.
You cannot mail items to your own account.
If items are account bound and not soul bound then placing them in your bank vault will allow you to retrieve those items on another one of your characters because your bank vault works across your whole account not an individual character.
The word spank can be easily used in an inappropriate way. ArenaNet actually enforce their naming rules so I am not at all surprised you had to change it. Try harder to name your characters within the confines of the naming policy in the future please.
Bought the game and now it's now $15 cheaper!

What is the world coming too lol.
The location is called Forsaken Halls.
It is the location of a mini-dungeon called Forsaken Fortune.
It is entered on the opposite (left) side of the Dredgehaunt map at a Sealed Dwarven Door.
Gaile Grey has said she can get up to 400 PMs a day or something. (I may be remembering that way wrong lol) So chances are the admin you PMed has other PMs to see to first or just didn’t have time to address his inbox at the time.
There are countless reasons why he didn’t answer you.
I’m a bit confused. It says you have 100% world completion.
Is this place somehow different from full world completion?
World completion is POIs/Hearts/Vistas but Explorer achievements are the white names on your map. Separate things.
I like the dungeon of the day idea. Seems a simple enough concept and will keep the older dungeons in rotation longer for many people.
Lol, is the image even GW2 related?
No, the mail recipient was me, as in From Kyosji.8961
Recipient means you were the one that received it, not the one that sent it.
Are you sure your name wasn’t just the subject line as a few other threads have come to realise (in which case it doesn’t indicate a hacked account at all).
I hope some one can help me out here i just got hacked and my e mail got changend so i cant login how do i get my acount e mail back . If been playing this game just a couple of days.
Submit a ticket with support.
Legendary weapon stats will, in the future, change to match the current ‘best in game’ weapon stats. So, not just a skin but a class of weapon that gets better over time.
I only meant stats in the sense of which ones it improves since the OP said he didn’t like Power, Vitality and Toughness.
The account rollback feature is in place now so as your ticket gets resolved your account can be restored to what it was before you got hacked, you will first have to go through support and beef up your personal security somehow.
Too bad we, or at least I’m not esper so nobody know what you want if you don’t say it. In that case in Orr it would probably be The Artesian Waters.
There is a list of areas: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/User:Bluestone/Explorer
You have to compare this with the names on the map you have.
Score! My page is getting attention lol.
Some people have commented to me some inconsistencies with their own experience and my list. This either means the devs changed some things since I made the list or there is some deviation in what counts towards it (ie more areas than actually needed or something).
If anyone is doing the explorer achievement and notices something wrong on my list I would love to know about it so please comment on the talk page so we can get people looking into it and get/keep the list as accurate as possible. Thanks
Lucky you lol. /15char
Games not dead. Bit of an exaggeration there. People are leaving sure but there will be plenty of people around for a long time so the death of GW2 is many many years away.
Did you visit the Hall of Monuments (there’s a point of interest there, but I don’t know if it counts towards completion or not)
HoM does not count towards world completion, neither do dungeons.
If I recall past instances correctly the scammer will be punished in some way but your item is lost.
Use friends that trust you to loan you the money to post the item on the TP. If the buyer is legit then the sale happens quickly and you can pay your friends back quickly, if hes not legit likely someone else will snatch up the item and you can pay your friends back then, worst case scenario using the TP is that you have to farm or earn money in other ways to pay your friends back but thats nowhere near as bad as losing a precursor weapon or huge amounts of $$.
Use the trading post in the future. Going outside of the supported/provided method of trade means you have to settle any disputes among yourselves.
Some people do not like that the TP takes a cut, but the alternative is a lot riskier as you have discovered.
Point #1 = Stats don’t matter because of transmuting.
Point #2 = It’s mainly about the skin and accomplishment with legendary weapons.
So, if you want the skin then do it, if you don’t then don’t do it. Couldn’t be simpler, no debate required.
Try again if you are still concerned.
Well, they might look at you a few times and maybe watch your account to make sure you aren’t doing RMT. Maybe.
3 situations:
1) You are exploring persistant PvE map = 3 minutes before forced reset to apply new build.
2) You are in an instance (ie Dungeon) = 3 hours before forced reset to apply new build.
3) You use a waypoint/leave an instance or similar = instant client reset to apply new patch.
You know what? I’m done
Bye.
If you don’t feel compelled to make one for the sake of simply having a legendary weapon then you probably shouldn’t make one.
I’m aware that they’re from china, not what I was asking.
Oh, you asked where are they from in your OP… :S
If you want those specific IP’s investigated file a ticket with support.
As the above poster mentions the CN means china. If you have not done so already you should change your email password, change your GW2 password and maybe submit a ticket with support to change to a new email address entirely for GW2.
Also probably before any of that do a thorough scan of your computer to rule out keyloggers or other nasty programs that might be contributing to your potential account breach.
Did you file a ticket with support? That is the logical first step to any game problem.
Less is more. The boxes give me the impression of a higher quality game.
Also, GW1 expansion boxes should have little bearing on anything to do with GW2 which is a standalone game set in the same world as GW1 but most definitely not a mere GW1 clone/expansion.
I hope you have done the smart things and changed your password and submitted a support ticket? If not you should go do that immediately.
You don’t need to use the gem store to get boosters. You get them from chests. Keys can drop anywhere and you often get keys from fully exploring maps and from other chests. I have stacks of boosters in my vault and have never purchased gems with real money.
So now you admit boosters are an advantage but go on to say that it’s ‘OK’ because you got yours for free well played drone. So what about the new players who don’t want to play the personal stories for keys (because keys don’t drop as much as they use to because of ninja loot nerf), and you have a ton backed up and probably go curb stomping poor new players who only want to play WvW. It’s people like you who make gaming crap for the rest of us, because you lap it all up on your chin and arena net <3 for it.
Sorry it seems you misunderstood my point which was that there is nothing in the gem store that people who don’t use the gem store cannot also gain. People who don’t want to earn keys through story and exploring can buy them. That’s their own choice and has not impact on the fact that they CAN get them without buying from the gem store, they just would be choosing not to get them without using the gem store. Just because someone doesn’t like an option it doesn’t make the option invalid.
Do jumping puzzles if you enjoy them or if you want the achievement (or both). The chests are useless and not good enough incentive.
I noticed you conveniently left out WvW, those boosters give clear advantage over others – speed/regen boost anyone? An advantage is an advantage, doesn’t matter how you try and spin your words, you just make yourself look like a goober.

I was always disapointed with Arenanet when I found out about the gem store, <snip>
You don’t have to spend real money on gems to get the gem store items. I have bought 2 extra character slots and expanded my bank 3 times and have not spent a single cent of real money on gems.
Also, an ingame advantage is something that makes a player more competitive than another, not that they can have an extra character or more bank space. Those things do not make a player better or more able to defeat an enemy NPC or player, therefore they are not an advantage in the context of micro-transaction cash shops effect on gameplay.
But a little problem for me was; i couln’t be a healer.
Healing yourself, yes. Others, no.
This was well publicised long before launch. You should research games before you buy them if you have such narrow fields of enjoyment.
Servers have a ‘Full’ status when there is a certain number of players on that server at a particular time. There can however be much more than that number online at any given time because no one is kept out of their server once they have characters on that server. So even if a bunch of people logged off for the night the number of people on may still be over the number required to display as ‘full’. This will create the illusion for people unaware of how it works that the server always has the maximum number of people online. The truth is that there is no maximum, only that ArenaNet have put up a ‘soft cap’ in an attempt to spread out the population to other servers and not over-stress any single server.
Ah, I’ve just re-read the Wiki, apparently the Gem transfer service does exist but it’s NOT in the shop.
You transfer servers from the character select screen. At some point in the future these will cost gems and likely use the costing scheme listed on the wiki page, however, since launch and until an unknown time in the future all server transfers are free so the gem transfer service and it’s related costs/information can be ignored entirely until transfers are no longer free.
Or you can have one computer shared by 20 people and all 20 people would be able to log into their own individual accounts on that same computer without issue.
As long as all 20 accounts don’t log in at the same time on the one computer lol. They don’t like multi-boxing :P
can i just apply the new code after i purchase it ? or do i have to wait to get that kind of reply after i submit a ticket?
If I was in your situation I would contact support first and tell them you have a new serial code and you would like to apply it to your account, and ask them to confirm that it is ready to accept a new code and that it won’t still be banned (or whatever was the problem before).
I would do that just to be sure.
