I like the idea of a utility infusion for laurels that give bonus materials while gathering. Could do all sorts with that too, like Azurite orbs for mining as well as watchwork. Accountbound unID dyes from harvesting. Dunno about logging tho.

I’d still ask for a gem refund for the Watchwork pick. I like the mining animation, the extra mats is a bonus. But I wouldn’t mind this change.

I’m an officer in a relatively small guild of 20 regularly logging in. 10-15 being active. Less actually donating to treasurey often in comparison to our ‘core’ roster .

We’re Guild Level 19 today. And are working on Tavern Restoration 2.
Most of our members want to play as groups rather than us being a Guild of solo players, who want to keep all their gold.

If you pull together it will all fall into place. Ghall is entirely doable as a small guild.

Centaur reward box from Krytan reward track in PvP is the only aquisition now.

My guild hasn’t had any issues with members donating to the hall. Priority materials are posted in Gmotd and that’s it. We’re about 15-20 representing member active. And people donate what they can all the time. Without begging tacts.
We rally fine for all guild missions so far and even manage to pull through for the large/hard guild missions aswell.
How our guild is run must be completely different to how you run yours I guess.
We’re quite a picky social/casual guild too.

I love Rev hammer. I finally get to show off my Juggernaut that’s been collecting dust on my Guardian.
Skill one is fine I kinda wish the projectile visibility was bigger, so it looks like a sizable mist hammer being thrown. Or adding a projectile effect to the Juggernaut, that would be perfect.

I’d uncover a new part of the map and my facets would deactivate. No combat. All I can think is it deactivates when your scaled level goes up/down.

Also hate the fact Glint is completely unusable underwater is just one of the biggest oversights on this new profession.

The collection is about your class and the “journey” it took to making all those pieces.
It’s a statsless Exotic it’s not going to do your alts any good anyway.

That’s because you can select stats on them.

I’m with the OP, since any character could get the drops that contribute to these collections, it seems like an oversight.

Hmm it would be a ton of work programming-wise I think.

I think customizable, pathing NPCs would be cool though. Based on the total makeover kit options and armor that could be banked in a Guild wardrobe for NPCs. You could then base them on one of your alts that walk the guild hall. Limited per map sizings.

I love it. The amount of thought that went into the new zones. and trying to make the maps completely different to what we’ve had before is great.
I like the challenges in the jungle and the excuse to get guild members playing as a team rather than solo is awesome.
Revenant is just amazing. I’m just starting to map complete on it and train the elite spec up.
My small casual guild captured our guild hall on saturday. Lots of fun and chat we had over teamspeak while doing so. So even the most casual of guilds can get their halls up and running if we can :P

In WvW, my guild master was commanding a microzerg. There was about 10-15 of us.
While the other two huge blobs were decimating each other on one side of Stonemist and doing some odd maneuveres to each stay actively fighting, we knocked the northgates in, killed the lord and capped before they noticed. It was funny at the time.

EoTM, our commander takes our zerg to fight back another and doesn’t realise they all went Invulnerable, 10mins later, the realisation dawns on him, zerg falls back. He then proceeds to waypoint and tag off. Either he was ‘sick of bugs’ or felt really stupid.

In PvP, my guild master (again) doesn’t keep track of what colour our team is, so whenever we’re winning and he thinks we’re losing, we get a humble speach over teamspeak about how it’s not about winning all the time xD then he realises we won and we get a “oh fudge, I didn’t realise what colour we were. Awesome match it was so easy.”

I see no problem with gifts requiring you to do all game modes. It is a Legendary afterall, it should have been this way from the beginning.

If you don’t want to do these other modes then yes, you are at the mercy of the TP. I guess making these buyable on TP was to keep PvE only people happy. Added bonus for all mode gamers.

I enjoy map completion, done 6 myself, 4 hovering around the 70% mark. 4 before they removed WvW elements. The transmutation/BL key is a nice reward, and I gather everything I pass.
I like your suggestions of a heart border and minimap detail. I feel it is unneccesary though.

sigil of leeching is the default sigil for eternity. Stats are not chosen because they are not bounded yet.

But with legendary, stats can be changed any time when out of combat.

Oh, so I suppose that’s why it had the sigil. Though can one remove it? I plan to add two different sigils to it when I get it, so how would I go about removing the one it comes with?

You overwrite it, like every other weapon. Or use an upgrade extractor.

Yes, it’s a rarity but it does happen. And runes aren’t the only ones.

The WvW boosters give WxP boost, not a levelling Exp boost. Are you sure the new booster give increased WxP? As it doesn’t state they do.

Are you sure your characters aren’t getting boons to cause the VO? As these quotes sound like what characters say when they get Fury and/or Retaliation.

It doesn’t take long to get key waypoints ie World Bosses and dungeons.
In one of the many threads about this same topic, some one tested this and it was less than 1hr to get key waypoints. Tested on a mesmer, one of the slowest professions (was before the recent swiftness/Signet tweak)

If this ever did make it to a dev meeting and Anet even wanted it implemented, I’d want this option to void the character from all rewards associated with map completion (Key/Transmute Charge/Heart Karma and Map completed chest in general) plus Gift of Exploration and your characters Nameplate Star. Permanently from that character.

Worth it? All that development time to think about too. I’m sure Anet can spend their time better than implementing this, to save you 1hrs gametime.

I’m in the same boat about thief. But asking for an item to basically merge what you have (map comp, HP etc) to another profession is a ridiculous request xD
Put the time into another profession, that’s my plan for revenant. I’m currently daily crafting for the ascended gear and route plotting for fasttrack map completion.

I think to get a similar stat spread to what the Marauder amulet is, you use Valkyrie armor, Berserker weapons and trinkets. It’s as close to what you’re wanting in PvP/WvW

In the ls2 story where the npcs are stuck in the labrinthe, I saw mordrem that looked like moas and bug reported it… Only to realise a minute later they were near Kasmeers spot, after being moa’d and killed by her. /facedesk moment

In PvP trying new trait/utility combos and pressing keys that you think are a certain utility, I died a lot that day.

If you hovered over the icon for the finished product, it clearly says account bound.
These inscriptions are to make levelling gear for alts which lasts ages. (I made a set of the lvl 44, got me to 70 without feeling underpowered)
You creating 40 of them is a bit of a brainfart, but you can salvage the armor you craft with them. Don’t expect to get a lot of ectos back however.

I am so happy about the guild changes.
I was a little worried being a member of a small guild, claiming the guild hall would require 25+ people, but now I know it’s 5 plus is just great.

And the WvW and PvP missions are a great addition, seeing as my guild do bits of everything in game.

It grants an ability on interrupt every 15seconds, it’s bonus is dependant on it’s own cooldown, not target. I don’t think any rune that grants an extra damage output works per target, feel free to prove me wrong but I can’t think of any.

Hmm. I don’t quite understand what fix you want.
The 15 seconds isn’t an interval, it’s cooldown. If you interrupt someone it applies the confusion but will not apply it on interrupt for 15seconds after the last application.

The whole idea behind having HoT as the core game from Anet was to avoid the “pay $/£ for core PLUS $/£ for HoT” so instead now for new accounts, it’s one price instead of two paywalls.
It’s not too hard to save £35 though in 1/2/3 months.

A lot of other NPC quotes too that either don’t fit or repeat far too often.

Ambient sounds aswell, especially in Lions Arch around the fountains. For a city it’s really quiet. If you go to Hoelbrak you hear hustle and bustle as if you’re walking through a city. LA is, well, dull.

So I’m 25 this year. I play roughly the same amount of time as the OP (avg 3hrs/day sometimes 0 sometimes more).
I work full time and am pretty social outside of the game.
So by your definition I am a casual player, yet I have made 5 legendaries (3 bound), have a full set of ascended gear and lots of miscellanous ascended gear scattered over characters. Plus I have the gold to make a full ascended set for my new Revenant in HoT. No this gold was not bought by credit card>gem>gold.

My question is, what does the OP do in his game time? Afk?

The endless guild spam in mapchats are annoying af.

So like, post your guild add with a button to ingame mail one of the officers in the guild, it stays up for X time. With a cooldown to stop the same guild posting within the next X duration?

I was also think about how to get in touch with guilds senior members with ease ingame and thought if we right clicked a players portrait, you could select ‘See X guilds officers’ to view officers online in guild to request to join or any other questions/info.

Also, selfless/selfish potions were never gemstore so I doubt they’d put them up.

Love most of the suggestions, it’d be hilarious to see some of them implemented.

? Lag-fest: Skills activate 2-5 seconds after you activate them.

? Easy does it : Running causes knockdowns, fractal must be completed while walking. Does not effect any other movement skills.

+1 I’d like the option of knowing when just people in guild or friendlist comes online without the loot or other system messages. Pressing Y or G is ok but seeing it on the chat log would be great.

I get what you mean but you’re not the only one that has had to farm their butt off to gear characters :P
I have 9 level 80s, used to be 10, 6 with 100%maps, used to be 7 (yes I deleted a 100% toon). One has a full ascended set the rest are in full exotic with random ascended weapons/back/accessories scattered.

Before I even bothered with any legendaries I never had more than 100g and I farmed a lot for that. I try to kill Tequatl everyday since he was revamped and after all those kills I finally got 1 Teq Hoard. 1! I never got a preq as a drop, mine came from the forge, and I spent a lot to get them, not as much as buying off the TP but it was still a lot.

If you don’t play all too much then making gold or farming for drops w/e will always seem to take forever.

Tldr: Stop focussing on what other people get and start enjoying your game time, those people most likely play more often and far longer than you can, and that’s ok. As I said, good drops arent the be all end all.

I would recommend Razer Naga and Cooler Master Quickfire TK keyboard. Never had a problem with mine I have all combat skills on my mouse and a mechanical key board is a must tbh.

Hmm, getting highly prized drops isn’t the be all end all of the game. Sure it’s nice getting high priced exotics drop or ascended chests, but if you start to only focus on those you will get very bored of playing.
You made your set of ascended gear, most people either don’t want that or cba with the effort, so you have ‘grinded the game’ and succeeded.

See, I’m not all to bothered what does or does not drop for me, I still have fun. I have 235%magic find, I used to farm a lot of champion bags and I’ve only ever had cheap exotics from those. But I have been luckier with the Mystic Forge.

Phase Retreat is a defensive combat skill. It’s intention is not for more movement but to move you out of danger.
So no to the suggestion.

YES! CTF and Warfare style game mode a la Stand of the Ancients (for lack of a better example)

There is no open world PvP apart from WvW, you and your friends will have to be on the same server to enjoy it together.

You can enter Heart of The Mists via a portal in Lions Arch at any point. HoTM is arena based 5v5 PvP your level does not matter and the build used here is separate to PvE.

Based on what you said, I recommend necromancer for WvW, and Necro or Mesmer for PvP.

Sounds like one of you selected an Eu server and the other selected NA.
Your friend can delete all his toons and reselect from servers to match the region you are on.
F2p will have nothing to do with it.

Why noth both? ^^ I’ve mained mesmer (3yrs) with a side of thief (2.5yrs) they’re both really great professions.
