How to make my first staff? (Mesmer)

I agree that at a low level it is easier to buy one from a vender or TP if you have a little extra coin and want a blue with a few more stats. They generally are not much more and sometimes even lower than a white depending on the stats.

Often low level mobs can still drop weapons but with my luck I usually get ones I can’t use for my profession.

Crafting mats are harder to come by depending on where you are and by the time you have gotten enough to make a staff you might have already gotten a drop or the coin to buy one from a vendor or TP.

Hope this helps.

I use right mouse button to turn and left mouse target/click on NPCs. I use tab to cycle targets but I try not to use it in some areas where there passive mobs/inanimate objects that can be targeted as this makes it too easy in a fight with several mobs to accidentally tag a trash mob. I use W for forward movement/dodge forward, S for walk backwards/dodge back by double clicking it, a and d to strafe double click for right left dodge. Space bar for jump.

I have two buttons in the middle of the left/right mouse buttons that I bind for skills. I have two buttons by my thumb. I use the furthest for weapon swap so it isn’t as likely I accidentally click it. The closest one I bind usually to the #2 skill because I use it more and that skill in many professions/weapon sets usually has a shorter cool down and for me is typical the skill I use more often than skill 1.

I bind other important skills to V,B,Q,E,R so they are close to the keys I use to move/dodge. I generally use the R key for my heal so it is less likely for me to press accidentals and burn a heal when I don’t need it. I keep skills with longer cool downs that I use less on 1-9, function keys.

Generally I have to remap some keys depending on the profession. This gets me in trouble at times if I forget to do so, but I generally figure it out fast. However I think the best plan is to play around with your keybinds to see what works best for you.

I agree with others that some of the players making these videos are probably using advance gaming mice that have many more buttons that a typical mouse.

The second reason is that you can’t fix stupidity.

With a sub-free model this means they have to sell half a game to make up for your stupidity.

So with encouraging people to be more carefull they are making sure they don’t have to spent money on some peoples stupidity’s.

Please keep in mind that this is the Players Helping Players forum not Players Insulting Players. Perhaps the word “mistake” in place of stupidity would have been a less abrasive way to respond to the OP.

OP I’m sorry that this occurred and you made this mistake. But as some have stated in a bit different terms, player mistakes like this usually can not be fixed by staff. I’m sure everyone that has played GW2 has made similar mistakes, perhaps with less important items, and this by no means means you are stupid.

Easiest Jumping Puzzles?

What makes the Queensdale JP not so easy (at lower char lvls at least) are the oozes and vet oozes at the end.

I agree this one can be a pain at lower levels. There are a fair amount of mobs about, especially if you go the wrong route. The oozes at the end can be difficult to deal with because there are a lot of them close together which makes it hard to pick them off one by one. Then there are I think two/three veterans in close proximity as well. The jumping part is easy though once you know the route.

No one hinders new players. Resources within the game are never permanently destroyed once killed. They respawn.

I sense a couple of mistakes you guys are making. If you follow a group that’s killing things before you can get to them, don’t follow them if you can’t keep up. Go in the opposite direction and take out mobs. Also, if you just stand there, and allow others to kill the enemy (without making a single effort to “tag” it), then the fault lies in the player’s actions. This is fixed by teaching the new player what “tagging” means.

Keep in mind that every Heart has a different objective. You’re not stuck with just killing a single type of monster for credit. Some have multiple ways to complete the Heart quest.

Seriously, if the starter maps are so fun for high level characters where were they before Dragon Bash?

By killing mobs in mass amounts and quickly they are making the game much harder for new players to also get kills that award things such as exp, loot, and hey guess what dragon coffers for them too.

We are not talking simply about hearts. Low level players should be able to farm as well.

Please read my posts completely because I have already discussed the spawning and tagging issues that are affected by this as well.

Stop trying to put lipstick on a pig. It is evident that high level players are trashing the low level maps simply for coffers. I have been playing for a while and I know how tagging and hearts work. I have seen this flood of high level characters in low level areas affect low level/new players in a negative way in pretty much all aspects of the PvE game.

Are you trying to say that us “elite” players shouldn’t be allowed to enjoy content from low end maps? I think that aside from the other people on the map griefing you with name calling, you’re also being rude to suggest that we not play those maps.

Please realize that having other down-leveled players in the area can actually help make Heart clearing faster. All you need to do is tag the enemy a few times, and you get credit for the kill, and for the Heart quest. If other people are clearing mobs, follow them and join in on the fun. But if you miss out on an enemy, it’s not the end of the world since they do respawn.

Where were all these L80 players rolling over the starter maps they must enjoy so before the event? I said that by doing so they are being inconsiderate of low level/new players by taking away a large amount of the kills from lower level characters.

I am aware of taging and how it works. That is a good part of the game. However if you are in an area where everything is getting killed before you can tag it then it doesn’t work.

Apparently the people defending this have not seen it themselves. New player sees mob and runs to get in range, high level player hits speed buff to get there first and kills it. Instead it should be high level players sees low level player head toward mob and lets low level player tag it and then helps finish the kill.

Look at it this way, if you had to take a break from the game for a month or so and your L80. Then you come back to see that they raised the level cap to 100. Not only that but they added some kind of drop that occurs in L80 – L100 maps. Great you think and you get to work. Suddenly everything in site is getting destroyed by L100 allowing you to get much less because you can only get the scraps. Okay you decide to work on leveling to 100. The task you need to do involve killing certain mobs which are also getting farmed to death by 100’s. Fun right?

Really is it so ridiculous that high level players extend a little bit or courtesy toward new players? I’m not new so this doesn’t affect me directly. Perhaps using my friends situation was the wrong way to explain what has been going on. There is a reason why they made the coffers available at all levels. New/low level characters should not have to change the time they play, guest to other servers, run around trying to pick up scraps so other players can get easy coffer drops running around one/two shot everything in their paths. It’s an observation and in my opinion is something that speaks poorly about the community.

i guess one of the things i’ve noticed in gw2.. or, well, perhaps MMOs in general, though this is my first.. is that the way to efficiency always wins out. these also are IME, those who are more rude and have no regard to other players as well… though of course, i am may be biased.

it sucks that you and your new friend weren’t able to play the game as you wanted to. when doing hearts or killing mobs, the “zerg” usually moves together.. try going in the opposite direction fo them. sure you won’t get in EVERY single hit, but definitely more chances when there’s just one exo 80 rather than 5 of them.

i will say, requesting other players to leave a certain area would by no means be a good idea, ever. now you know. : )) and i know you asked probably in the heat of the moment, frustrated for your friend ebacuse you wanted to help them and have them have a good time…

or best bet, play during “off-hours” for your server. though i know that may be hard with IRL, what not. hope your friend willf ind ways to enjoy the game though!

As I said low level players should not have to go out of their way to enjoy the game by doing such things as trying to find hours to play the game because of the “play” of other players.

The zergs are in every area where there are more than a handful of mobs and anywhere there is a decent respawn rate. Where there isn’t a zerg there are 1 or 2 high levels running mini routes to kill respawns. Trying to work around that is not easy. Trust me we tried.

Think what you want by asking a community that prides itself on being friendly and helpful to let someone complete a heart as being rude. Response such as “muahahahahaha” seem to indicate that the other players are the ones that take pride in making things worse for other players. I have been in areas and farming and have had others ask me to give them a few minutes and I didn’t think it was rude.

I’m not posting this because of my friend. My friend was an example as I have seen a lot of non-scaled players in these areas trying to compete for kills as well. A lot of the time you see them standing in one are waiting for the mess to clear, get their one kill before the other mobs are rolled as well.

Step outside for a bit and think back when you were brand new. You log in to try to play the game as it was meant to be played and you see the mess that is going on right.

Anyway as I said in my OP, it is more a reflection of how this event has brought out the ugly in a lot of players. Keep talking about ways a new player should go out of their way to play the game as it should be because “elite” players are rolling over the starter maps for easy coffer drops. Certainly don’t ask the high levels players to change how they play because according to a few if you do so it’s rude.

the content was new for everyone when they logged in, everyone learned how to play dragon bash so just learn how to play the game yourself. the only real problem is with afk not being kicked after 15 seconds or at all. as for the holograms that you’re trying to get, it’s first come first serve unless people are being nice enough to wait for those in the area running towards them. coffers also drop from regular mobs as well as the holos. as for the places with hearts, it’s a shame that your friend can’t do them atm with so many players round the event.

I said nothing about getting holos. We were not even trying to do that. We were trying to do hearts and she wanted to do some small scale farming to get some coffers. I did say that coffers drop from mobs and from mobs at all levels. This is why starter maps are getting zerg rolled by high level players. This puts a new player at a large disadvantage since many mobs are getting killed by higher level players before the lower level players can even get close.

Here is a good example. The field outside the garrison has a heart where the player kills centaurs and destroys their equipment. The centaurs are getting rolled so fast that the lower level player has a big disadvantage trying to get to them first, no speed buffs and so forth. To compound the problem, the equipment that needs to be destroyed has centaurs by it. As they are being attacked by the high level zerg the aoe affects during the attack also destroy the equipment.

Is it really that much more difficult for a L80 to farm a L20, L40 area?

That’s a ridiculous and very rude request first of all. Second of all I have a low lvl character that I used to farm in that area on the 1st and 2nd day of the event and had no trouble at all. In fact, it was a great way to lvl up. Lastly, if you were in a party with your friend you should have had an advantage over other players anyway if you properly coordinated.

Why is it ridiculous to politely ask if we can finish a task in an area that is being farmed to death by L80s that are only there to roll over everything possible? I didn’t say get out of here or please get the F out of here. After all it is a community that seem to take pride in being a helpful community. Asking for help by requesting to be able to complete and event isn’t rude.

The first 2 days were not bad because everyone was camping the holos. Unfortunately my friend could not play until yesterday. Since then they are farming coffers by killing everything in site on starter maps. Even if low level just wanted to farm, good luck unless you want to kill the same moas over and over.

My friend is brand new and still learning the keys, skills etc. No level of coordination can keep up at that level with 4 level 80s speed running back and forth through caves.

See the thing is, before the event you almost never saw very high levels in the area unless it was for an event like SB and then when it’s over they leave. Now, that coffers are most easily farmed in starter maps the maps have been taken over.

Posted by: JustTrogdor.7892

JustTrogdor.7892

First of all I was glad to see that the Dragon Bash included activities for all levels of play. I think the idea of the event is great and this isn’t meant to critical of the event designers but the community participating in the event.

First we had the problem of L80’s camping the holos in starter areas and killing them so fast no one else had a shot. Okay, they make this problem less of an issue by increasing the difficulty of the holos. This worked to some degree but the holos were still a constant camp fest leading many players to head to more difficult maps to get their share. Not a big deal unless you are a new player and have only gotten to L15 or less.

Now that it seems that most of the high level players have gotten their holo achievements that problem is gone. Unfortunately, now that those achievements have been completed it has reverted to coffer farming. Since coffers drop at all levels guess where this goes on? Yep starter maps.

Here is my example. I have a friend that just purchased GW2 a week before the event and we were looking forward to enjoying the event together. She was in game a little before the event but mostly to look around because she didn’t really have time until this weekend. We log in so I can help her get started on hearts in Queensdale. Every place we go is a non-stop farm fest by players in exotic gear. We head to the bandit cave because she wants so coffers too. Hmmm…. No bandits at entrance. We head further in a few dead bodies and sounds of players spamming “1”. We wait a second because they respawn fast. 3 spawn she tags one and I help her kill it, this didin’t take long, but now the other 2 are dead before we could even target them with a flash of shiney gear “1” spamming as they fly by.

Okay we head to other areas, guess what? Pretty much every place where there is more than 2 mobs within target range is getting zerg rolled by high level players. Okay, lets try Metrica. Same thing. Lets guest to a low pop server. Same thing. She did a few hearts but they either took much longer than should be or they were ones that didn’t involve combat like that boring one in Beetletun where you run in circles stomping wasp nest and killing rats.

The event pops up to protect water pipes from bandits so we head there. About a dozen players camping the spots where the mobs run in and trashing them before most people even got in range. Thanks!

At one point I politely asked in /map if some of the higher level players would mind if we could use the area we were in for a short bit. Most ignored it but here are some of the responses I got:

“LOL”, “Newb”, “muahahahahaha”.

Needless to say she didn’t feel like playing for very long. While this was disappointing for myself and my friend, there were lots of non-scaled players in the same areas trying to play as well. So I imagine they experienced the same frustration.

Now I’m sure many could say well, go here or there instead, go work map completions in cities, go do personal story, go craft or what not. However, the point is that a new player shouldn’t have to limit their game play because a lot of high level players want to farm coffers to death in low level maps.

Between this, the holo camping, the “afk” in Dragon Ball, the event has really brought out the bad in what is a normally friendly community.

I was hesitant to make this post because I’m sure I’m going to get things like, “stop crying”, I just think that it is unfortunate that those that have been playing at least enough to get to high levels think they should go to the lowest level possible and make things difficult for the low level players who happen to be there for the very reason that they are low level.

I know most reading this are probably not the ones causing the problems. The ones doing this probably don’t read the forums or if they do don’t care. This was meant to be more of a commentary on how the event has brought out the ugly in a community that is usually much better than other MMOs.

tl;dr
Inconsiderate players ruin holos for several days
Inconsiderate players ruin Dragon Ball by perma-“afk”
Inconsiderate players ruin low level maps for low level players by zerg rolling it non stop to farm coffers.

Please use the search function before creating duplicate threads for subjects that have already had multiple discussions.

Not to sound snide but from my experience the search function on this forum is on the verge of useless. As a test just now I went to the forum page, typed “raid” into the search function and got 6 results no of which were specific topics on raids.

I’m not sure why the search works this way because other days I can search a term and get tons of pages, still not very accurate. I try the exact same term another day and get 1 result. My only guess is it might have something to do with a cookie.

The best option for searching this forum is to use an external search engine like Google and type something like: Guild Wars 2 Forum raids.

You might try these steps to repair it. These were provided by another member in our forum and has worked for some problems.

Hi! Sorry you seem to be getting that. Normally, you should post your system specs when trying to get a solution to a problem, but with any luck we won’t need them. I’ll post the Mac troubleshooting instructions for you here. You can try step 4 first if you like, if it doesn’t work start from 1 and work through them. Please read step 4 completely before attempting (all steps for that matter). Please post back what worked for you, if nothing worked, post back that it didn’t work and follow up with your system specs please. [length warning]

1.) run software update to ensure all drivers and os are up to date.

2.) try repairing disk permissions via Disk Utility first. Then…

3.) repair the client install

Open Terminal

Type the following:

/applications/guild\ wars\ 2.app/contents/MacOS/cider —use-dos-cwd C:Gw2 -- C:\\GW2\\GW2.exe -repair

You can copy and paste that in, but (check the dash) you must change the dash before the word USE or this will fail the forum shows an em dash (—), but it is supposed to be 2 consecutive en dashes (-). Run it and let it go until finished. FYI if you type the command yourself or paste it, they are 2 dashes (-) side by side… I’m noticing one sometimes looks like an em dash… It’s 2 en dashes though. (the dash before USE is 2 regular dashes)… Reiterated due to previous confusion about that dash on these forums.

4.)Perhaps after doing that, if it doesn’t work, you can try to delete the contents of the gw2 data folder, it’s a pain to get to the right one: this step is a general fix for many tp issues, even without the previous steps

Mine is located under the hidden Library folder (navigate using finder, do not use spotlight to search)

/[yourharddrivename]/users/[yourusername]/library/application support/guild wars 2

You may want to copy/paste this folder to your desktop as a temporary back up, just in case.

Delete the contents of that specific folder (you should see files like this contained within “config, dyndata.dat, user.reg, userdef.reg, and folders p_drive and wineserver…namestuff…loca..[long name]” just to list a few), then re-run the client..

~~Your folder is probably hidden (as is the default). Hidden folders display as greyed out text and icons. I found this after googling:

http://m.wikihow.com/See-Hidden-Folders-on-Mac-OS-X-and-Other-Recent-Models

Others claim alt+clicking a file/folder unhides the contents, but that was never successful for me. At least the link has visuals for you. Hope it helps.

5.) check support.mac.com for instructions on how to reset your pram and smc.

6.) If none of this works, check the sticky and submit a ticket, then please come back here and report the fix that worked for you.

First not being able to buy Gems, now this……

Unfortunately this is one of the few problems they have acknowledged, stopped in the forum to let us know they are working on it. Go figure…

Abbreviations, is there a list?

in Players Helping Players

Posted by: JustTrogdor.7892

JustTrogdor.7892

Yes in common in game chat DR will most likely mean Divinity’s Reach. It takes some time to get used to but the context can offer clues. For example:

“Meet me in DR” would mostly likely mean meet me in Divinity’s Reach

“I was farming the other day and gave up because of DR” Would most likely mean diminishing returns.

I don’t think anyone would mean “Meet me in diminishing returns.” They probably would not get many visitors

Like notebene mentioned it is always okay to ask. For the most part the community both in the forums and in game is very helpful. There have been very few times when I asked a question in /map where all I got was a “LOL” and I have never been called a “newb” for asking a question. I ask a lot of questions.

Glad I could be of help and I will try to answer any other questions you may have.

I mostly roam about and have not really focused on leveling. I couldn’t even tell you what level any of my characters are right now aside from knowing one is in its 50s and the others are in L30 range.

The only time I have farmed has been during this Dragon Bash to get coffers but even that was fun for a little while, getting revenge on some mobs that used to give me troubles.

I have not done a dungeon yet because I’m so casual I’m still trying to master my skills, when to use certain ones, maximizing them, and of course have an alt in each profession training my hands to remember which keys for each professions. I don’t want to be that person in a dungeon that constantly gets killed or messes things up for everyone else.

Sometimes I go days with out playing and never log in just to do my daily. The game is pretty much something I do when I want to step out of real life activities for a little while and I enjoy it.

When I don’t feel like doing certain tasks I try to find different ways to create fun such as sponsoring map races for a prize, messing with the look of my gear with colors and transmute stones. I go to different areas to create my own vista/jump puzzle by trying to find areas that are not obvious to get to by jumping.

I do WvW from time to time but my current character levels put me at a pretty big disadvantage. I generally participate more when my team is focused on things that I can help with without face to face combat like supplies. I also found a fun way to help my team by being a decoy/set up an ambush. We gather a small group where they hide some place. Since I have the please kill me arrow I run about and find a small group of enemies. I never get in range for them to attack me but as soon as they see me I hit a turbo speed boost and basically lure them in to the ambush.

I don’t worry about money too much until I get to a place where I need to upgrade my gear. I actually give away a fair amount of money because when someone helps me I’ll mail them a silver or two as a thank you. I get helped a lot thank goodness.

I almost never use waypoints unless I’m dead. This allows me to see and find different things I might have missed on my way to the waypoint to start with. If I see a type of mob I have not dealt with before or very little I’l go out of my way to engage them. of course this often involves a new set of armor repairs.

Kind of lumped in with my thread the other day I have noticed a correlation between not getting myself involved in some of the negative in this forum and the amount I enjoy the game. There was a span when I got really involved in debating on here and I noticed I didn’t really feel like playing the game that often. The more I stepped back from it the more I seemed to enjoy my time in game.

These are just a few things I do. I’m probably about as casual as you can get but I really enjoy the game when I do log in.

There is lots of helpful info in the Mac Tech “Support” Forum related to other Mac issues provided by many kind members. It may be interesting for you to read through it and maybe help some others there if you can. As a Mac user myself I’m glad we have other Mac customers willing to help out.

Yeah it’s too bad. It is one of those things where they make a fun event but due to a glitch that allows perma-afk other players, if you can call afk playing, just want to mess it up for everyone else because they are inconsiderate.

Just like when all the 80s were camping the holos in starter maps and smashing them before anyone else had a chance.

It’s the same reason people with a cart full of groceries get in the express lane. They think they are the only ones on the planet.

Unfortunately it is very difficult to develop rules/fixes that will completely eliminate the uncanny ability of humans to be inconsiderate of others and discard social norms.

It’s unfortunate because most people don’t even bother to try to watch now. They just make their bet and stand there. It might as well be pick a number between 1 and 5 for 50s and then just show you the result.

I thought it would be set up in a way so it was more like an arena where you could stand and see the whole race. Looking at it now though that would not work because of the size of the track, they would run out of view. It would have been cool if they could have made them mini moas on a track to watch from a wall or something.

I understand they tried to add something fun. It’s nice they think of such things but I don’t think it worked like they thought. I think the idea was to probably have all the ones making bets run with the race. I do like it when they try to add more fun stuff though and overall have enjoyed the Dragon Bash.

That helped a lot learning that swap trick. What are two good tanking pets for leveling? I have the red lizard that the charr start with as my main pet. He’s pretty beast until 12 mobs run up the hill at us.

I prefer bear for tanking and either some type of cat or the eagle for DPS on swap. The bear I have special skill removes conditions so that is helpful as long as he is close. I don’t use eagle in WvW because it is like having a big target floating above your head, especially if you are one walls defending. Some people like the spiders for range. I tried moa but didn’t care for it. I like shark under water. There are slots for all pets so you can keep them all if you get them to try them out. You can only have 2 ready at a time for swap though.

Here is a list of pets and locations where you can find juveniles and tame them:
http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/List_of_pet_locations

Also a lot about ranger is knowing when and how to use the pet and which pet to use. For solo having pet on defend will work in many cases but it is good to practice using it on passive to have it tag a target you chose. Also you need to keep an eye on it because if a mob it is on runs off it will chase it for some distance and when it runs back it might bring some unwanted friends with it. With pets like my bear that remove conditions that skill is only as good as when you know where your pet is, like call it back to you to use the skill on you then send it back to fight. It really is a skill of it’s own and not just something you throw into the middle of some mobs and hope for the best

Glad it helped. Don’t forget to give them nice names too. They work hard to keep you alive.

Some in this thread have said they tried that as it was part of Kyllaa’s trouble shooting tip and it didn’t work. It’s step 2 in her instructions and as she filed a ticket it seems it didn’t work for her either.

I catch myself talking back to some of the repetitive stuff.

“This so called farmer just punched me in the face.”

Sometimes I actually say out loud, “So what?”

“Ha! Your kidding right!?”

Sometimes I say, “What the kitten do you think?”

:)

And the fact there is no revive pet spell bugs the hell out of me already. If my pet dies and I’m in the middle of an event that means no more pet for the entire length of the event.. gee.. that’s just great.. so once more I’m back to being over run by swarms of mobs..

I swap pets when one starts to go down I change to the other. When the cool off is done I swap back if I need to.

You got them for going to a firework show. Just saying.

what does this have to do with anything

That it is basically a free/gift skin that everyone gets for taking a little time to stand in one spot. I can’t imagine thinking they would be anything fancy much less complaining about it, or as the OP claims “dumb”. Generally I don’t think it is a good way to provide positive criticism by using words like “dumb”. Perhaps “disappointing” would have been a better option.

I’d rather they put work in more cosmetic items, new stuff than spend more time working on helmets they gave out and most people will just stop wearing once everyone has them on and the novelty has worn off.

But if it is really worth trying to get the devs to change a few spots on a free hemelt then perhaps the suggestion forum is the place to go:

I’m guessing the Mac client bug that won’t allow people to buy gems is at the top of their list of Mac client bugs to work on.

Anet Mac Beta Client Bug to Do List:

  1. Fix bug to allow Mac client users buy gems.
  2. What Mac client?

Yes you would think posts here saying things like, “We are trying but can’t give you our money” would at least get one of those fly by visits from staff.

I use Paypal and have not had this issue but I’m thinking next time I try and it takes me to the Paypal page the confirm payment button might be missing.

I just consider it as a sign that they no longer want us to support the game through gem purchases. It’s maybe their subtle way of saying, “We won’t support you so we no longer want you to support us.” Unfortunately I’ve already sunk my fair share of post box price money into the game. Not any more until they at least give us some status of what is going on, if anything, with the Mac client.

I guess this is what we get after they did us such a great favor by developing a Mac client using Cider, marketing it to Mac users and selling it to us for the same price as the Windows client. I’d start messaging Transgaming with my issues but I doubt there is anything they can do until NcSoft/Anet decides to work with them on known bugs. I’m sorry but saying use Windows is not a fix it is an insult to paying customers.

Seriously, saying please use Windows to give us more money while we refuse to acknowledge the Mac Beta Client Forum aside from some fly by close a random helpful thread, give me a break.

Well it’s more my fault than the game’s but since you asked, jump puzzles. I think they are a neat thing for the game but I’m terrible at them. So for me the are fun to try until a missed jump and a few second later, “You have been defeated.” Nothing is worse than defeating myself.

How to farm Dragon Coffers

Can I ask why you did something so dreadfully boring? I did the achievement in about 2 hours total, if that, running in a path. Got some nice loot for it, too.

Yeah not hard to get the holos if you actually play the game and find a good path. They are not rare to find and easier to get than the ones where everyone is farming/camping all around the same one or two. There are many out there I don’t think others really know about because everyone is camping the same ones. I found a path that I ran as well and got plenty of holos, a ton of dragon coffers, lots of exp and some pretty nice loot as well.

Help in Transmuting Dragon Wing Cover

in Players Helping Players

Posted by: JustTrogdor.7892

JustTrogdor.7892

JustTrogdor, you couldn’t use it with a statted spineguard or other back item? It has to go on something that already has an appearance?

I didn’t have any of those and the only back items I could find on TP were the ones with the bears. As far as I know you can put them on any back piece stats or no stats. However if you put them on a back item with stats I think it will be soul bound then. If you want to use them on a different character later you would have to transmute it to a white back piece.

I could be wrong on some of that because this is the first time I have had the opportunity to wear a back piece. I’m still level 30-55 with all my characters.
