Is it just me or does anyone else get a constant feeling like AN simply doesn’t have enough man power. I am not taking a shot at anyone here or trying to be overly negative but this is how many posts on a variety of topics comes across. On the forums, in interviews, at conventions, etc.

double are worthless because the ones you buy and are account bound can not be forged.

I have used a few avenues to try and get an answer, now all I can do is hope and wait. I don’t need a detailed reason why for the record, a simple yes or no or submit a ticket will suffice.

It’s not about losing money, it’s about having doubles of a mini pet. I don’t need or want doubles. Again I am asking for an AN answer not opinions on the matter. Thanks.

Since AN refunded the doubles in wardrobe I was hoping for a refund here. If there isn’t a refund I simply won’t buy the pack which is 20 dollars for mini pets. I’d even be ok if I could gift my double pet off. But I do not want to own 2 of them, serves no purpose and is a waste.

Why would I want a second white kitten?

I do understand there are a good deal of other player out there who bought 90% of them last time. I won’t buy the pack even though I want if I own one of the mini’s already. Heck I would even gift my extra kitten away but that isn’t an option either.

Last year I bought the Mini White Kitten for 400 gems. I missed out on the other mini pets. Now that are back in a large bundle. Which is what I wanted last year so good news on that front. My question however is can I get a refund on the white kitten I previously bought? I certainly don’t want to buy 2 of them.

I don’t mind the big pack, in fact I prefer it. But I own the white kitten. I certainly don’t want 2 of them. I wonder if they would offer a refund for that…

Thanks for the advice everyone. She is simply not the type of player that will ever switch gear or weapon choices or traits unless I tell her she needs to change things. So I try to look for fun, solid, reliable builds that can keep up as best as possible.

I think we’ll see an expansion way before GW3. It does make me wonder about the LS though. Since China will never see season 1 what was the point? Nothing that meaningful could have possibly ever happened to the world. We’ve more or less been waiting for it to release there? What about the next release? etc. etc.

That thought process might be a little far fetched but I can’t help but feel that way about it.

Does anyone know if China gets LS season 1? Will they be a year behind in that story or simply skip it?

So no SB or LB builds? curious as those are the weapons my wife likes the best. trying to find her as good a build as possible,

This was brought up elsewhere as well. There are a lot of items, not just minis that could use a re-release. I am all for new things but when it comes to mini’s there are a ton of them. Will we ever see poly mock? If we do how are you going to make skills for all these with the ever increasing number of them. Instead of so many new ones all the time please consider re-releasing the old ones.

I had hoped that the three new mini’s in the locker would be another 3 pack for 300 gems. Seemed like a perfect price. But like last year when we got the baby mini’s they are 400 a piece. I just don’t understand who makes these prices up? On top of that some of us are still waiting for some of the mini’s to be re-released.

To each their own but I like the new system a lot. There could be a little more before level 30 that does seem like too many levels without a lot of progression but otherwise I like the new system.

Every server has their own chest thumpers, and start these QQ threads. JQ won this season so congrats to them. Last week JQ was QQing about the 2v1, this week it’s BG, etc, etc…

Currently they are trading wins, more or less like trading kills, maybe even worse. But that is how the system currently works. Surprised that it’s still a solid alliance so congrats on keeping it so. Time to wait for season 3 and see what if anything changes.

People were upset long before the season even started. None of this is new. 2v1’s aren’t even new. The scale and precision in which JQ/TC are able to pull it off with their communication is possibly the only new thing here.

Heck there was not 1 thread created by JQ players in response to the BG/SOS double team last week.

Then you didn’t check the forums enough before they were deleted. There were plenty of threads about it. Started by JQ members.

That person thinks it’s a bad idea and says that it’s going to destroy the game. There are plenty here who disagree with that opinion. It’s an MMO I want to see Massive amounts of players. Perhaps everyone does not, but then don’t they want an MO and not an MMO?

Seems to be just as many people who are for Mega Servers then those against the idea of them. AN will know the true metrics on this. I want improvements to the system for sure, but I don’t want it to go away.

JQ is also probably going to win the season. :P

I am wondering what server most of you are on. I come from a T1 NA highly populated server. Overflows are not new to me at all. World bosses being a giant ball of light are not new. A zerg of players decimating LS event and or normal events is not new.

I realize there are other concerns here, but for those concerns I am a little puzzled.

I’m not saying it’s a final solution, but it is the current solution.. And the consumer benefit being the direct purchase price is largely driven by the true player value of each color.

This comment makes me sad. Why is it that the price is or should be driven by player value. As others have points out it isn’t driven by color but by rarity of that color. Why in general should the gem store be a place for player revenue? The game itself should be able to provide plenty of that. (I am not saying it doesn’t provide that)

I do not want to support other players. I want to support the game and only the game. In many cases this is possible. Dye’s is not one of them.

edit: If you wanted to make the dye packs RNG. Then why not something more like 1 in 6 chance to get one of the new dyes, meaning that you always get a new dye. Perhaps not the color you wanted or a double of a color but new nonetheless. Instead you have a very high probability of paying 100gems for an “Iron Dye” which is nowhere near that value.

The new colors would still maintain some form of value and tradability.

Districts would be awesome. Even ESO’s “mega server” lacks this and GW1 had it. Kinda baffling when you think about it.

However I come from a high population servers, perhaps one of the highest and even there a good deal of the maps are dead most of the time, this has given new life to a good deal many maps.

I do think that because I am used to doing fire elemental with 10 billion players at once that the mega server doesn’t seem like such a shock to me, as it is to other players.

It surprises me sometimes that for all the talk of converting gold to gems nobody ever offers the other direction as a solution. Enameled dyes can be bought directly using gems if you go through the exchange.

As of this morning the range is:

• Enameled Legacy Dye ~190 gems.
• Enameled Crimson Dye ~1100 gems.

No randomness required.

But that isn’t what I was proposing in my post or what other players are necessarily asking for. Those are not set prices. They will change and fluctuate. As you’ve shown, some dyes will be cheap and some will be overly priced. Is this really the solution to RNG dye packs? Buy gems, convert to gold and buy what you want from the TP.

I don’t know the metrics, my guess is RNG dye packs sell really well. This is why we keep seeing them and will continue to see them. It’s no surprise that with every release of these RNG packs players get nothing new for their gems and feel ripped off even though they knew they were buying a chance. You are gambling.

The point of those servers is for WVW matchups.

The topic is about recent patch nothing about PvP in general…..But as for 5 points being 1 yeah it messes up actually being able to spread them out and make a strong character. So it nerfs the character big time.

I am not understanding your problem. You have the same amount of points. You get them at a different rate now, but in the end you have the same amount. I am not understanding why this nerfs your character? You can spread them anyway you like unless you liked your odd number point build. 11 points or 14…which would be strange and very sub optimal to play with.

I am amongst those who are enjoying the mega server. I do understand there are some problems. And it shouldn’t surprise me that so many are threatening to quit over it, but it does all the same. You just aren’t going to make everyone happy.

I’ve been enjoying the Mega Server. It needs refinement for sure but it’s a welcomed change. More players in the open world is better. I guess I am lucky that many of the issues listed here either haven’t effected me yet or don’t effect me. I did guild missions this past week with no problem.

Not being able to see what is and isn’t contested and seeing party members in other maps is annoying but certainly not world ending. That is something though that I hope the can address.

It doesn’t matter at this point, asking about or talking about what the issue might be and why players don’t think they can handle new content is not allowed. It’s not nearly as off topic as they are making it seem.

My personal answer is: I prefer to wait another month to have megaservers sorted out,

My guess is that it will be an ongoing process as they refine things and continue to collect metrics. It won’t all be sorted in a month, although I think we can expect some refinements in that time.

mesmer’s 30+ bugged skills fixed,

I am sure Mesmer’s are not alone, that being said it’s going to take time. I know that isn’t an answer the community at large wants but bug fixes especially if there are 30+ of them per class or perhaps even in just this case is going to take time to track down and sort out. In the mean time I want new content to play through. I want them to be able to work on fixes and provide that content.

We just got a feature patch. How likely do you think it is we’ll see another one sometime soon? How long would it take to see those 150 or at least a marginal fraction of those tested and implemented?

and only after that I will be happy to see content and play it without raging for every persisting bug and to finally support the game for their good work. Again, my experience shows that at this stage developers will not be able to handle both old and new bugs which come with new content – and that’s exactly the reason they took a month off for a “feature pack” which basically put a new face on several old features, made overflows obligatory and fixed a small amount of bugs.

They’ve been working on this feature patch for months. Taking a month off is not nearly enough time to fix everything above. I wish it was, but it simply isn’t. And I am not speaking just about GW2 but almost any MMO I can think about…

This is not to say that your concerns, and desires aren’t valid. That your opinion on the matter isn’t valid. But, how many players would be patient enough to wait another 3 months for new content while all this was fixed and those 150 features added to the game? By 3 months (a number I made up) is probably too small even then.

That isn’t a set price. That price will change. I assume you know that though.

That isn’t for me to determine. AN has always had an aversion to allowing a karma to gold exchange and try to minimize it as much as possible.

I would much rather pay a set price for the dye, Someone suggest 500 per dye. I might not buy all of them but I would buy some of them. I will not buy RNG chances.

I don’t disagree that those other items are pricey, but 300 is far better than 500 which is where most of those items sit at. I would love all of these things to be more in line with a full armor set. I even think they would sell more of them regardless of their looks but AN doesn’t seem to be budging on that front.

So if they allow you to salvage Karma armor or any armor you can’t currently salvage what is to stop people from just using vast amounts of karma to gain the materials from those pieces at an alarming rate? I this this is one of AN concerns.

Would it be suitable to salvage it but get nothing out of it besides the rune or sigil you wanted?

I think a better solution here is to make extractors a reasonable price. Because currently they are not, and I can’t imagine many people have ever used them.

There are other solutions mind you but I think this is an easy one.

1. If this is true then submit a ticket. You should have lost no skins with the wardrobe. If you did, then it is a bug / mistake.

2. There is a vendor that provides all of these things in sPVP. I believe others in this thread have addressed this.

3. You get those charges for free and for playing, especially in spvp. I honestly don’t see the issue.

Since we are giving opinions here, ESO will force you to do PVE. Since you clearly don’t like PVE I don’t see ESO as a solid option for you. Might want to look else where. I think that this patch changed a lot of things. Change can be hard to adjust to, but the items you complain about have solutions in the game for simply playing.

@Rune: You did not lose any trait points. 5 points now equals 1 point. While the gain of these points is slower and different the total end result is the same.Your leveling character might be slightly weaker, your level 80 characters are not weaker at all.

If you were full berserkers then you would have seen a 10% reduction to over all DPS. However this makes little to no difference honestly.

I have to disagree about them being too pricey. Normally you’d pay 400-500 gems for these skins. Toxic was 400 a piece and Scarlet was 500 a piece? These are 300 a piece. A much better price. Could be because the helm isn’t too good looking (opinion here) but I do like the shoulders.

I have both versions in my locker. I had 2 of these skins, I made one spvp and kept the other pve. I assumed this is how I got both. However a friend of mine did the same thing and he only has one. So I have no idea.

I understand that part Gaile. I am referring to Majory’s daggers. Both of which were purchased. Thank you for the post and clarification on the armor sets which were also part of the ticket.

This would be amazing as I comb through the TP looking for my locked out skins.

I submitted a ticket like many people here. I did get responses in reasonable time frames. I was asked at one point to wait another 48 hours. All of that is good. However my issue is still unresolved because CS just can’t seem to find my purchased items at all, can’t find that they are even on my account, or that I ever even used the skins.

Not sure what else to do at this point, I am waiting for another response. I sent some screen shots to try and prove they are on my account.

I do appreciate how busy the team is and the responses here. I am hoping someone can find the items I bought and take the necessary actions. Not sure how the system works but I keep getting different people looking after my ticket.

What else is missing from the store. Bunny Ears and the Aviator Glasses. I would buy both now.

While on the subject I would love if I could wear my glasses with my hats, or the monocle with my top hat. Not sure how to make this happen, but please make it happen.

I have 2 legendary weapons. I bought both precursors. Neither were a fun experience.

For those asking what you need gold for: Plain and simple, Runes and Sigils. This will probably decrease over time, but currently it’s very expensive to test out different builds with the value of many of these.

While I don’t have tons of extra skill points you see tons of youtube videos with plays who have 800+ skill points on their main character. If I had that many I certainly would convert them into gold.

I don’t see it as a nerf either. Sometimes nerfs are needed. Especially to class balance. This on the other hand used to force you to do every single daily in order to stay at the top of the AP charts. I won’t even go into how doing these daily tasks shouldn’t even provide achievement points, as I don’t see how killing 40 mobs in shiver peaks is an achievement.

For most players it will take a very long time to even reach these caps.

If you are at 9.1k then grind it up to 10.1k and see if it cuts you off. I’ve done just over 5k daily AP. So I’ve got a long ways to go yet. Still I love this change.

World boss works just fine, I never did champ train very much to begin with, and dailies are better now. All my opinions but it doesn’t change how I play anything. I do sPVP more now because of those reward tracks.

hmm it is a bit darker looking. would be nice if those color popped more.
