You see the people already calling masteries a grind right now while they are account bound. You’d be turning that up to 11 if you change it to a character bound system.

At best might use them on new legendaries (IDK havent progressed that track), or just 2 fractal keys.
At the moment im sitting on easily over 1500 from salvaging 180 rings.
Then its time to upgrade von 32-Bit to 64-Bit Windows.

And sure you have OOM crashes with all settings on low ? How much memory
usage shows your crash-log and do you use NVidia or AMD GPU ?
Because this game has horrible memory leaks at the current time…. Trust some of these people when they say it’s not the machine.
Bring back the challenge mote and instance reset.
Nothing is more annoying that trying to complete these and having to F12 to character select to get back to the story step.
Additionally, some story steps still require you to warp to the prior zone, then back….Fix this. (looking at you any story step beyond verdant brink or anything that requires a mastery).

It’s more logical than coming on a forum to complain that a game built upon playing with a large number of people is somehow, not upto your standards of playing solo.
Honestly, it’s pretty sad how many players do not fundamentally realize that MMO’s at their core are about co-operative play. This includes the open world. If it was meant to be a single player experience you’d be in instances scaled for exactly 1 person.
This may help in tracking down the issue: I have exactly three fractal weapon skins unlocked – the Axe, the Longbow and the Spear. The achievement however tells me I have obtained the fractal Scepter, Axe and Spear.
It wont help.
I have 15/19 missing only Shortbow, Torch, Axe, Harpoon
My “Achievement” only show me having scepter and Mace.

It’s funny how people wanted PvE that “Didn’t Suck”, “Wasn’t Trivial” ….The moment we got that the backlash was so massive that anet catered to it.

Just going to create a bullet point list of bugs/features whatever
- The Retry mote fails to fully reset the instance as Mordremoth attacks your allies
- The air vents just out right don’t work or become entirely unresponsive
- The “shield” does not protect you as stated it would
- (Do not have a repro for it) Caith can sometimes fail to become neutral state resulting in her kicking you around the instance (if not selected to accompany you in)
- Morde will park his body on the rifts
This is all i’ve run into for now. I’m sure there’s more that i’m missing.

The implementation is fine, as explained why earlier. The filter is working as it is supposed to.
Does that mean you have some inconveniences, sure. That is ultimately the price to pay for using a public forum. You have no rights to free speech here, so you either agree to the moderation and censorship within, find loop holes, or find another outlet.

I highly doubt you’ll find anyone who realistically wants perplexity runes added to PvP.
That runeset is already the bane of many players, even after its rework. Maybe if they tone it down drastically then it can come in IE no passive confusion added anywhere on the set, no active confusion added anywhere. Just raw stats like nightmare runes, with the change to the 6th piece being increased confusion duration 20%.
For example they’ve already tested the raid/commander UI but due to feedback they’re delaying it to add functionality. This doesn’t bother me in the slightest.
I play this game for years, not weeks. People need to get some perspective.
Actually they pulled it because the feature was broken. If you were around for BWE3 you’d know that.
Honestly, though the complaints are well founded. The art of selling games is becoming problematic. It’s one of the only industries where you’re allowed to get away with selling broken, incomplete or otherwise unpolished products that are told with good faith will be available at a certain date.
It’s sketchy at best and reflects poorly on the companies that do it. Whether its a case of the Molyneux syndrome or Hacktivisions Overlord state dictating release doesn’t change how the public receives it. It also makes genuine people look like fools especially after they just had a livestream where they had to eat crow for failing to deliver features they promised once already.

2 Replayable content how so ? Similar to current resource collecting, fishing could provide a steady income through selling collected resourced through the TP, meaning its worthwhile to repeat it.
3.How does it build on ? Are you suggesting they rebuild all existing crafts to include it ? No just cooking or a separate crafting discipline of its own. I have no objection to farming or hunting too, all have their merits.
4. And in this case they may not. If many people want a feature, its for a reason, because they enjoy it or think it would be beneficial to the game. Its logical to satisfy customer demand if the investment will pay off.
5.It would reinvigorate water areas. So would fixing underwater combat, as well as just generally adding anything to those areas, so what unique thing does fishing do ? Fixing underwater combat is more challenging as it involves basically redoing 9 entire class skills and then balancing all the skills. Yes they could add anything so why not fishing.
6.It could be a collection, sure but what does that do for the players except limit your own suggested replay value? Gives them an actual goal to make the content feel rewarding. It could be both a crafting discipline and a collection, no need to limit one or the other.
Like I said i am not really fussed about fishing but see no drawback to adding it other than the time and money needed to develop it. If you think there are bigger priorities and dont want to see fishing until they have been added/fixed thats fine and thats your opinion, to some extent i agree. Its up to Anet to decide in this case. But to be so against the content being added simply because it doesnt appeal to you is illogical to me.
I’m not against it, i just fail to see the “need” for it.
I also failed to see the OP have any meaningful comments on why it was needed other than because i like it.
For every one person that likes it is someone that doesn’t. Hence discussions of the pro’s/con’s and implementation.
Personally i could care less, added or not its more content….Something i’m always okay with.

Im not desperate for fishing but here are a few reasons why its worth adding:
- Its fun
- It adds re-playable content
-It builds on existing crafting systems adding more depth
-It appears to have high demand and be a popular suggestion
-It would reinvigorate many abandoned water areas of maps
-It could be introduced through the collections system which would take less resources to implement
Lots of things are fun so lets exclude personal biases here
- Replayable content how so ? it’s just another craft we have 8 soon to be 9, none of which offer anything “new” so as to be replayable the 2nd time around.

If they fix the fact that EoTM exist in its current incarnation first.
There is still 0 good reason for EoTM to be more rewarding than WvW. Reduce EXP, Karma and Badge gain in EoTM by 33%.

I started this game at head start, back when the wiki was pretty much a baron wasteland outside of some minor lore. People had to learn as they played…not be giving a silver platter of knowledge.

Rocket Charge will have the leap play at start rather than finish (like other leaps) and isn’t going to be so erratic once you’ve closed to your target.
Is there any chance of changing rocket charge to a multi-activation skill to give players “Full Control” or are we still going with the 1 activation for all parts ?

Allowing for a single immob to last upwards of 6seconds. Enjoy going back to spawn fast if you do not immediately cleanse that.

Do this, log in and try different setups with giver and condition ( there are also various calculators online ). Then return and edit your post.

2) There’s no equipment for condition duration. Nice try btw, but we were talking about stats ( vitality ) and there’s no1 with condition duration stats ( some uses the generic sigil ).

It is a direct counter as condi’s damage is due to it not being cleansed.
Now, before you complain that they can use Rare/Super Veggie Pizza you’re just starting a circular argument. If you are both running +/- X you are both operating at normal values. Thus it comes down to player skill.
And that’s exactly what argument i was about to say!
The only way you can counter condition is to reduce X% of the damage.
No, there’s plenty of other ways to counter conditions….
Cleanse
Dodge
LoS
Generosity
Any number of weapon skills
Any number of heal skills
Any number of runes
Any number of utility skills
Im not going to list everything…it’s entirely possible to counter condi’s.
They removed the functionality you described for a reason.
It’s highly unlikely they will bring it back.
fractals is already part of dailies several times a week.
point is they will have their own category.
Dungeons are dead, as far as support goes. Anet wants you to do their end-game version called fractals.
Daily fractals are coming with HoT.
That’s as close as you’re getting, until another major feature patch.
they haven’t said much on this other than, there will be consumables to help and that they are looking into it.
I’m personally hoping they make the curve a bit more linear.
I’ve noticed a small pattern for myself.
Usually i will DC on Uncatagorized at Raving Asura Room. I’ve had this happen 3 times in the past week. Planning on doing a repair in hopes that fixes it. Not really prolonged just a quick case of “game client lost connection to server”
No hero points need a group.
All of them can legitimately be done solo.
As for how they are going to keep them populated, they hope to draw in the farmers by adding materials as guaranteed event rewards. Things like Powerful Blood, Charged Lodestones, Unidentified Dyes etc… will be on the maps rewards which should draw in the event farming crowd.
