First off, what exactly is the thought-process in removing piercing from most but not ALL skills? A possible aoe effect only a very specific skill doesn’t do anything when that skill has a long cooldown anyway. There is no reason to equip it for aoe damage when only a skill or two can do it, so why leave any? Or why not actually just add piercing to everything so the weapon becomes more viable. You didn’t increase the damage to counter losing piercing. Why?

Secondly, aimed shot making a dodge doesn’t help anything. It’s an extra dodge on a skill you always want to apply anyway, so in some cases the backwards dodge can be harmful like standing next to a cliff. The vulnerability is a must in fights, giving you a reason to not use it is kind of an odd decision.

Third, the adrenaline gain on crackshot is neglible.

Secondly, Brutal Shot making a dodge is weird. In some cases, like standing next to a cliff, it’s not a good idea to use it even though the vulnerability and immo are a must. It’s counter-intuitive.

The electro dyes look line “fine” dyes. Really shallow contrast. You’re better off buying similar cheap ones.

That will never happen, because as I said before, the average player was never meant to have a Legendary weapon. If they were, you would be able to buy them from the gem store and Anet would be pulling in tons of cash for them.

This argument goes out of the window since you can buy it from the gemstore, just turn that gem into gold. It’s the same exact thing.

Logged into Divinity’s Reach. Chatted for a while. Did a few heart chests in Queensdale. Bought some new outfits with gems I bought in the TP. Threw a bunch of unused rares into the Mystic Forge, didn’t get anything worthwhile, but, hey, life is good – it was fun! Think I’ll pop some more gems for some transmute charges so I can change up my wardrobe a bit. Man, I love this game! Everythings perfect! Nerfed farms, nerfed event, bad loot in general since the start of 2013! However, to me, everythings perfect, these prices are wonderful! I love spending money on the gemstore because there is no real viable way to acquire it by playing the actual game, yet I can still keep gaining money on a wonderfully steady pace of the next paycheck for real life work! That’s why I play vidyagaems! So I can work for them in real life!

There’s a lot of skins that clip or just glitch out in general in gw2. There’s some real bad offenders that render a lot of good(and hard to get) skins unusable because of how terrible the issues can be as seen in this topic

I’m seriously wondering if this topic is even tracked? You keep mentioning how these bugs and glitches are being looked at, but many of the reported bugs persist even after a whole YEAR! Even more! I know it’s not a top priority but never fixing these is just baffling. Many of them don’t even need a whole lot of work.

That’s great. Now explain to me why this “compound bow” has bowstrings hanging onto literally nothing? That’d be great.

Honestly, I really love it’s unique posture and look but this glitch ruins it. At least make the 3rd bow line disappear if it’s not being shot with.

Question:

Why does it take so long (or never) to get weapon/armor skin glitches/bugs ironed out? For example, there is the Light Asura Cultural T3 set that has completely broken parts on a female Asura and it’s been like so since launch. Even a major character, Zojja, wears the glitched clothing; in cut-scenes too!

It’s funny how these are still not fixed while being some of the hardest puzzles.

Default bow string appears out of thin air, not shown in preview – misleading. Ruins the skin. Rid of the default string and attach the animation to the actual strings, this just doesn’t make any kitten sense.

Look at this mess. The “default string” ruins everything. It’s not even a part of the actual bow and when you use it it looks incredibly cluttered. This is seriously one of the worst offenders of all bows. Christ.

What worse is that it doesn’t even show in the preview!!!!!! How misleading. I honestly wouldn’t have spend anything on this skin had I known it’s broken quality.

I had to buy a ton of those boxes to get all the minis back then. It was a good thing gems were still purchasable with gold, unlike now, unless you wanna farm like no tomorrow.

Knowing what happened with halloween not getting the boxes back, I’d say the chance here is slim.

It doesn’t matter what is being done when it affects people generally negatively. The economy caters for flippers way too much anyway, it’s a bad system coming from a perspective that it’s a game, not a simulator.

WE ARE INFLATING. T6 mats are necessary for more then luxury goods and are on the rise. Food is one the rise. Ore is on the rise. Gems are on the rise.

destroying the T6 material market. (and for putting to high requirement on ascended stuff, we all know short term, 100 silk x3 (refine) for 1x bolt of damask is crazy. Currently supply might keep up, but eternal future supply? We all know it will rise in price. And that shouldn’t happen.

strategy concluded in one line: Make things cheap for early/rich adopters, and make it triple as expensive for any late adopters/casual players.

I consider myself pretty hardcore (4500 playhours), but moneywise i’m not on the top. I hate playing the TP. I delayed investment in legendary and i can tell you one thing. If 10 months ago i spended all my gold on one i would have it. If i spend double as much gold now, on the same amount of stuff i must finish, i’m not even half completed towards it. slowly killed my fortune in a stealthy manner. And killed my interest in the game. I put up with a lot of mindless grinding introductions in gw2, but crazy asended farming + late adoptor punishing takes the cake.

Quoting the post without implying anyone in particular is responsible. Make sure you never mention specific people at anet because that’ll get you banned, and it’s also a great way to silence criticism with a bad excuse.

And that line about T6 being more than for luxury goods, it’s NEEDED. The drop rate is ridiculously small. Champ boxes really don’t drop them much at all, and generally mobs rather drop silk or leather. T6 Fine mats are FINE, they’re not masterwork/rare/exotic. So why do they drop like they’re rares?

It’s interesting to note how far they’ve gone to nerf the loot there too. Why can’t we have a farmable 80 zone? Frostgorge barely counts, it’s just a champ train. No endgame event cycles that reward you with items you need to get an eventual legendary or skins that require quite a bit of mats.

So let me make sure I got this right.

Before, Armor sets and Weapon skins were locked behind the gem store. They never release this stuff in game so we can earn it ourselves by playing the game, we had to get it via the gem store only.

Now, Anet is rewarding us for giving them money. So instead of rewarding us for actually playing content and playing the game, they are rewarding us for giving them money. There is no reward for say, you’ve been here since the beginning and completed every Living Story content we have released. Here is a reward for your dedication to GW2. No. They are only rewarding you if you give them more money.

Just want to make sure I understand and I was right. Anet just sees us as money bags, not actual players. They only care about our money. It’s pretty obvious. Every new armor set is locked behind the gem store, every new weapon skin is locked behind RNG lottery chests in the gem store, they even made reskins of old armor sets that are already in the game and are selling those for the price of a new set, and now we are being rewarded for buying gems with real money.

Pretty soon we’ll be able to buy everything in the gem store and we won’t even have to play the game. Then it will be about who spends more money. Sigh. So much for a AAA MMO.

Well generally we are already able to buy everything through gem→gold trade. Even legendaries!

I’m glad there’s still some stuff we can acquire by playing, but it’s not that much, and usually it’s tradeable.

I’m sure there’s some floating around there in-game. Anyone know any good ones?
