I use a scepter and the only issue with it is the #1 tennis-ball attack. Change it and the scepter is fine.
Elementalist is overpowered. RTL isn’t the reason for this, leave it as it is.
Don’t fix what isn’t broken. This is one of the few very good warrior skills, and if anything needs to refill endurance faster, should it need a change to begin with. No one would ever activate a signet to restore one bar of endurance, either.
That’s in addition to, not instead of, what it already does. Currently it’s alright, but not great.

1. Make Stomp a ground-targeted leap skill.
2. Give Kick a stun.
3. Frenzy should have a quicker cooldown, even if it means removing the stun break – see post by PowerBottom.5796.
4. Combine Stronger Bowstrings and Burning Arrows, use left over trait slot for x% critical chance for each boon on enemy.
5. Hundred Blades and Staggering Blow while moving.
6. Traits for condition removal, heals or boons when adrenaline is spent, to encourage it’s use.
7. Trait for boon removal on critical hit, with internal cooldown.
8. Mobile Strikes also removes cripple.
9. Signet of Stamina should have passive condition removal tick each ten seconds, when active should restore one bar of endurance.
10. Throw Bolas decreased recharge time by five seconds.
11. Banners should be able to be carried on back by toggling the skill. While on your back it would grant normal passive effects but not allow you to use it’s skills.
Having PvP-only characters, à la GW1, would have been more beneficial. And yes, the gem system is horrible.
I’d only be for it if every other class got access to a new toy also.
You guys QQ to much the game is fantastic easy the best mmo ever made sure there are a few issues but so what you should go play another mmo for a bit and we will see you when you get back.
I still do play that other MMO actually. But since the sequel came out it’s come quite depopulated.
Well rifle is primarily single target. In spvp it lacks the crit damage and to be honest its not too bad of a weapon if used for secondary.
…which is why both of Warrior’s ranged weapons also need improvement.
Staff for aoe nuke. And yes, staff is better than LB.
And Rifle, which is why both of Warrior’s ranged weapons also need improvement.
One could argue that falls under lack of polish and optimization.. then again so can nearly every point, that’s why it’s point No. 1.
Lack of content or depth doesn’t fall under the category of “polish and optimization”.
Good points. You did forget the top thing that needs improvement though: SPvP.
Ele or Guard.
Can’t go wrong with either really.
Lol. Troll’d….
Well that and they aren’t any better than another proffesion’s alternative.
Is my Elementalist’s alternative the ranged weapon (staff) or the melee one (dagger/dagger)? Who are you to determine what is or isn’t the alternative? Warrior should also be a great ranged class.
kittenty PvP in this game has nothing to do with lack of subs… GW1 had no subs also, but it didn’t have kittenty PvP.
Just out of curiosity, why don’t you consider Rifle and Longbow ‘core’ Warrior weapons? I thought they were pretty useful for their niche, and the Warrior is the master of WEAPONS, not just melee weapons.
A combination of GW1 mentality combined with the cliches of the definition “Warrior” in RPG games. All of the classes have ranged and melee capabilities in some form or another.
Honestly… I very rarely do. I stopped using Warrior in SPvP and WvW, I also have two other 80’s that I use for dungeons and stuff. About all I use my Warrior for now is meta event bosses, and that’s when I’m not already using my Elementalist for that.
Everything else in SPvP is already separate from PvE and PvE’s form of PvP (WvW). It is both logical and healthy for the future of SPvP balance that skills be separated between SPvP and PvE.
Depends, do you have four hands?
I thought she was a queen not a stripper.
Why can’t she be both? Personally I believe she is still wearing too much and as a Queen she should be representing the majority players with human female characters. She also needs some underboob.
Bulls Charge, Frenzy, Endure Pain… like all the cool kids used too.
They should just replace it with an elite shout or something, magically transforming into a giant monster isn’t a very warrior-like thing to me. Oh and the skill is useless.

6 x Melandru, lemongrass soup, Prayer to Kormir, Signet of Stamina, Balanced Stance and Mending… I actually don’t use that much, though.
I’d really prefer it if our current kitten was useful first…
Some would argue that condi-damage sword-Warrior is a viable concept, but my experiences with trying those type of builds several times haven’t developed something I’d consider viable in any form of PvP.
Which sucks, because I love the Fiery Dragon Sword.
Dual pistol Thief in WvW who popped out spamming unload while using haste… killed himself because of shield block’s reflect trait.
Because I played as a Human in Guild Wars 1. Surprising, huh?
Any idea how could I improve it to make it even more Spartan-like?
Only the helmet and possibly the shoulders look “Spartan-like” to me.
My comment was more in regards to the depth and variety of PvP in Guild Wars, compared with that of Guild Wars 2 (which lacks both depth and variety). Either way, I do agree with much of what you said.
What I don’t understand most is how they could get PvP so wrong this time around… this games predecessor had fun and varied PvP such as Guild vs Guild, Random Arenas and the ever popular Heroes’ Ascent and all Guild Wars 2 has is Zerg V Zerg and Conquest (the latter of which is fun, but there needs to be more variety). SPvP needs more game types and variety to be enjoyable for the long term.
However, the biggest reason (aside from kitten poor class balance) that SPvP fails to attract is the the lack of RPG feel to the system, essentially there is no meaningful rewards for playing SPvP and many players feel there is a lack of progression. Personally I would prefer to see the old Roleplaying/PvP-only character divide brought back (with WvW style level-adjustment for low level characters, but making tournaments level 80 only) and in addition various glory-based vendors with equipment and recipes that are usable both in SPvP and PvE – especially stuff that would attract a wider audience into PvP, such as gear with unique appearances/stat combinations etc. It’s a solution that appeals to both PvP purists who want nothing to do with PvE and other players who want SPvP to enhance their current gaming experience.

This build was actually from 5 months ago if you haven’t noticed.
I remember seeing this build five months ago over on the Guild Wars 2 Guru forums… it wasn’t well received by many back then as well. Basically what I remember from that thread is that you endlessly ranted on about “shout healing wammo elitists” because there was criticism regarding your build.

Personally I’d prefer if they made our conjures more viable weapons…
Yes, Warriors are also getting pistols, Guardians longbows, Necromancers greatswords, Thieves rifles, Engineers hammers and Mesmers daggers…
Next you’ll see mounts… kitten this kitten. It’s supposed to be a sequel to Guild Wars for kittens sake.
Basically what DalzK said – it’s been 2.5 months since the game was released and barely anything has been done to the part of the game that is underdeveloped and needs the most attention.
Charr armor is the reason I won’t play one, it clips horribly on them.
Face it, everything here is currently limited.
Phoenixlord.7015great axe should come first…
Torch and pistol would be easier to add, because the animations and models already exist. But nobody is seeing any new weapon categories until an expansion which is at least nine months away – there are too many bugs to fix.
I would say at least 50% – but it’s ridiculously easy to hit this number without much precision gear – due to easy fury and traits.

+1 to HoH…………..
Lets hear more idea’s about possible Great Axe abilities or maybe weapon designs.
All I’ve heard so far doesn’t actually add anything to the warrior profession, it’s basically combining the abilities of two other weapons and calling it a day. If they eventually add weapons, I surely hope the great axe is something more unique than “bleedy version of greatsword/hammer”.
The “wammo” type shout-healer is the most useful support that you’ll get out of warrior. It sucks, I was a Paragon in Guild Wars also.
If they add Japanese style swords it will probably be in a Cantha themed expansion and it would be just another sword just like in the original Guild Wars. There is nothing special enough about a slightly curved sword to put it in it’s own unique category.
I do not know much about how a samurai functions
Usually on horseback with a bow. Don’t think we’ll be functioning like any historical warrior – especially a mounted warrior – anytime soon.

Personally I kind of wish there were more types of scale armor, even some mirror armor, lamellar or other suits of armor that don’t fall under the category of “spikey” or “plate”. Oh, I wouldn’t mind some hussar wings either…
If anything there should be more skimpy heavy armor to balance it out.
Skimpy male armor is needed more, there’s currently a shortage of that. And well, we should be fair…
This thread shouldn’t be in the warrior forum either – the overzealous moderators must be asleep.
Personally I just wish there was more variation in the armor styles, but at least heavy isn’t as bad as medium – a.k.a trenchcoat – armor.
There can be armor for everyone.
Hmm, obviously not enough of the latter though…
Took me a long while to find 2-3 sets that I can switch between that don’t resemble a bikini!
… see?
You say that like it’s a bad thing.
Depends if you consider sexual objectification a bad thing, doesn’t it?
I’d use a longbow when fighting in towers/forts anyway – it’s about the only time I’d suggest using a longbow.
Kicking… stomping… bashing… cracking… breaking… staggering. It’s all pretty fun, I do kind of wish the Physical Training trait was a master level trait – also wish Bull’s Rush and Stomp had shorter cooldowns.
