Unless you’re trying to get a legendary and need the T6 mats, I would keep them. They are hard to get and you never know when you might want them. If you ever decide to go for ascended weapons and trinkets, you’ll be glad for every one you have.
You can ask support but I suspect they don’t be able to help you. As far as I can tell from reading previous posts, support can’t alter your hero panel. That they don’t have the tools to go in and change things like laurels, karma, and items in the wardrobe. Their only tool might be an account rollback and that is only for hacked accounts. And I think they won’t send you another because then you would be able to sell it while having it available to use in your wardrobe.
So, you can ask but don’t be too surprised if they can’t help you.

That’s true for Lidless Eye/Eye of Rodgort, but the recipe for the Reaper of Souls’ recipe is a recent addition, is it not? I find it hard to believe it would have existed two years ago without a single person finding out about it until the hints were given during this Halloween event.

Personally I love the Reaper of Souls on my Necromancer, but if I had a complaint it would be the crafting requirements: why does it (and Lidless Eye/Eye of Rodgort) use Powerful Blood, which is used for Berserker stats?
We have Ancient Bone. Ancient Bone is used in making Tome of the Rubicon and Endless Quiver, which are Rabid stats just like the Reaper of Souls, Lidless Eye, and Eye of Rodgort. I must say, I’ve been following this thread actively. Simply for the sheer fact of it that people automatically say the opposite of Vayne no matter what. This is highly amusing. You cannot provide evidence of why you believe what you do, so instead you try to discredit Vayne who is firing back with the evidence of why he thinks as he does.
Keep at it, someday one persons mind might change. Also, very interesting information to think on about the health of the game. I was pleasantly surprised indeed. Not that I thought the game was in any danger really, just the amount of people saying they leave, and the amount of people I see still online often now that I think about it is quite sharp.

There are a lot of bots in maelstrom. They are traveling under the map there and their nameplate can be seen when they come up to a node to harvest. I’m doing platinum and hard wood farming runs on that map and I see several each day I go there.
As a player id rather see anet resources focused on developing content and responding to other valuable threads; than spending valuable time focused on this multiboxing issue.

They have rewards that start past 36000 ap, which is impossible to get anywhere close to at this point. An entire new set of weapons. That argument doesn’t make any sense.
You have a link to show these weapons? And Im pretty sure without that cap there would be already people beyond 36k ap.
Because there were several threads by people who felt compelled to do all the dailies every single day, who wanted a cap on the dailies so they could eventually be forced to stop and ANet listened to them.
I like the gobbler well enough but I could do without as many cycles through transformations to get to the boosters, since that’s what I really want. I’ve already got a bunch of transformation tonics. And having the boosters random on top of that with WvW boost being a primary boost is another annoyance.
I don’t have data to back this up, so I’m being up front that this is just my opinion. But what I’m thinking is that the gem store would do a lot better with revenues overall if they lowered the prices on most items. With many items being multiple hundreds of gems, a person has to carefully weigh if they want to spend $10 or more for a shiny cosmetic upgrade or a convenience item. Sure there are folks with a lot of disposable income where $10 here, $20 there, is no big deal. But for me and probably lots of others that’s not the case.
When I look at the example of things like the Google Play store where many apps are 99 cents, that doesn’t seem like a lot of income for the developer, but they can make up for it in volume because the threshold is low enough that many more people will impulse buy that app or figure 99 cents isn’t a major loss if the app stinks.
I believe the same thing would apply with the GW2 gem store. If convenience items like the unlimited picks were the equivalent of 99 cents, I’d get them for my characters. If outfits were 99 cents, I’d likely have purchased all of them by now.
TLDR: A higher amount of micro transactions could bring in more revenue over time than a smaller amount of higher margin transactions.
I’ve always though this too, that their items are priced high enough that many are buying with ingame money rather than real money. I budget $20 a month and I don’t buy the small stuff, the various boosters for example, since I’m holding on to gems in case there is an outfit or armor I want.
Rollbacks are not optional following an account compromise? I can understand that although it would be generous to have my Ranger back who ‘mysteriously’ disappeared one night. I had spent more than $15.00 on him and then I lost it all. Is a shame, really.
Possibly he meant Rollback are an option following an account compromise. That might be a typo, particularly since he went on to say that the account was compromised and that’s why it got a rollback.
I haven’t seen Magic Find on utilities before. Maybe they think it’ll be popular (hence the 78c minimum sell price), but since Magic Find is such an unknown, purposefully obscured factor, I suspect people won’t bother.
How magic find works might be debated but now that I’ve gotten mine up to 147 I’ve started getting rares drop more frequently and I even got an exotic drop from a random low level mob. I think the last exotic I’ve gotten from a mob was over a year ago before they nerfed the old farms in Orr.
Yah, they don’t want to remove those for people who may be gone and come back later. Particularly since the items don’t show for anyone without one of those tickets.
Do the buffs from the Gobbler stack in effect or duration with booster buffs?
If I have a gemstore armor buff, will the gobbler either add to it in effect or make it last longer before expiring? What about magic find? If I get magic find from a bonfire, will this make the MF las longer or increase my total MF?
If you get the same buff from the gobbler it extends the duration of existing buffs making them last longer.
They have already said that the special claim tickets won’t be removed. You will just need to talk to the NPC with a Claim Ticket from a Dragon chest in your inventory.
It’s annoying when people pull up a post from months to a year ago to comment on something long past and the people involved no longer care. There’s a reason why the forum asks you if you’re sure you want to post on an old thread.
I’ve got about 170 of those tonics. I’ll never use all of them unless I stand there someday and spam using them. If I could just have the ability to give them away that would be nice. They could be made non account bound but untradeable on the TP if ANet doesn’t want them sold.
They know they can get the full rewards by doing nothing. /shrug. Some people are going to take full advantage of that.
What ANet needs to think about is requiring a certain amount of effort before you get the reward. Right now the standard is ridiculously low. I got it once by reviving 2 people when passing through this event on an ori farm run. After the event ended I got the wiggle chest and the big chest. I didn’t hit a single mob or the Claw to get this, just ran through and revived 2 people.
I bought one also. It does seem to heavily favor the transformations and you don’t get to choose which buff you can get but I noticed they were stacking. Trying it out, I got a nice 15% speed boost, karma, exp, and WvW boosts. (I didn’t look for other boosts past that).
If enough people buy this it will make a nice sink for candy corn.

They aren’t going to roll back your account from a plea on the forum. You need to contact support by making a ticket and discuss it with them.
If you were hacked then you will be eligible for a rollback, if you’ve never had one before. But be aware that’s it’s an account rollback and you will lose all progress, gold, items, experience, and achievement points you have gained since that time. You will be set back to a time before the hack and anything since then will be lost.
You’ll have to contact support to discuss it with them.

If it’s gone, it’s one of 3 things. You did it but forgot (unlikely but possible). You had the login remembered or easily available and someone at your house, a sibling perhaps, deleted the char. You were hacked and the hacker deleted it. ANet will only do a rollback for the last situation. If it was one of the other two, you’re out of luck.
In case it was a hacker you should run a security scan, change the password on your computer’s email and then change the password for the game.

It’s a bit much to think that ANet will respond to each and every person boycotting the game for whatever reason they are upset about.
I don’t think anyone knows. There’s no timer on it and it’s not really a holiday outfit like Wintersday’s or Mad King’s so it might be there for a long time or it might be occasional.
If you are planning to do it anyway to get the title, get one of them, either Twilight or Dawn, equip it and go talk to the NPC and see if he recognizes that you have 2. If he doesn’t then you know you need to get Eternity again.
But if you are going to go to all that much trouble for the title, why not make another Legendary twice. You will then have 4 different Legendaries in your wardrobe instead of 3 and the precursors for a non greatsword will probably be cheaper.
There is still plenty of exclusive stuff out there. ANet made a mistake last year in making too many of the Halloween related items too hard to get and corrected this year. Even though it means that the candy corn node I have in my home instance is far less valuable I don’t mind, because I am enjoying this holiday’s more attainable goals more than last year, where I just didn’t bother.
I do however sympathise with the idea that older stuff should climb in value. I would perhaps like to see something like the Black Lion collections model where Zuzu returns for 16 cobs instead of 12 next year. But that’s a different argument. All that has happened here is that ANet recognise that they made a miscalculation last year and fixed it making for a better experience for the majority of players.
Prince Thorn aside, there is no reason to make Mini Ghost Carlotta from a gem store items to a bargain Candy Corn/plastic fang item.
1) it gets people playing the game to earn the mini through in game activities.
2) people complain that too many items are from the gem store. Putting it in game is one more reward that people can get by playing instead of buying.
3) they dropped the price on it to allow more people to get it. More people getting ingame rewards means happier customers who play more, give a good recommendation of the game to their friends and possibly buy more from the gem store.
Just because you can’t think of reasons why a company lowers the price on an item doesn’t mean that there is no reason.
As I unexpectedly discovered there is a limit on the number of “joins” at the time.

Very uninformative post OP. What are you saying, that the party join should be without limits? That you can have as many people join who are presently playing the game?
You might post here, Unable to purchase Gems. I know it’s not the same issue, but it’s a related issue and it seems to be a thread they pay attention to.
I think there should be a ‘Mini Me’. It’ll be your model (with armor), with your weapons and back piece.
i like this idea, but make it so you can choose 1 of your other characters as well, so i could be going around on my ranger with my current character or else switch it to my mesmer as my mini.
A mini me minipet would be really cool. I would definitely buy one of those.
Since Mesmer clones appear wearing whatever armor/costumes your clone is wearing, it seems this ability is already in game. Transferring it to a minipet as a clone of you shouldn’t be too difficult.
It was possible in Guild Wars 1 to do this and it makes a big difference in how the costumes look. My norn necro can keep her Trickster Demon face mask while wearing a costume for example, rather than having to chose between being bare faced or the costumes helm.
I only do PvE. I demand they remove anything from the UI that’s related to WvW or PvP!
Ok, I did do the WvW tournament thing and I wouldn’t have known about it and gotten my rewards for doing it if it hadn’t been on the UI, but that’s different.
