All the above.
invincibility/invisibility stomping is pretty annoying, and probably shouldnt be a thing
at least in stability, you can be attacked
Can do damage but I still can’t help my team since I can’t CC to stop the stomp.
Stealth stomp is the easiest stomp to deal with and I can stop it with my CC.
A downed player lost. Those pitiful downed state skills are only there to make the downed player think there may be some hope. They lost.
I’m sorry, its totally and utterly kittened, many times where I would have won a fight while downed ruined by the IWIN stealth stomp, it pretty much counter anything you might do to stop them stomping.
Stealth should be broken on any kittening action taken while in stealth, be it healing, attacking or stomping.
Stealth stomping is the most insanely stupid kitten I have ever seen in any mmo.
I Completely Agree with you OP and you are not Alone in this long childsih mechanism uphill battle.
Only children plays this game.
A Real Man will show himself in Honor in Killing you.
Not “hiding behind the bush” which Cowards, and Children do.
OP, nearly 1 Year to Guild Wars 2 Anniversary and this is what WvW is all about, to those Individuals who chooses to play games instead of Fighing Like Men.
Someone playing this game calling players childish. You have issues.
I Encourage you to Quote where i called evey players Childish..
Yet I Don’t Play those Childlike games
Did I Offend You?
You said only children play this game.
You still going to troll more?

People acting childish don’t offend me. Just disappoints me that you are supposed to be human. I feel pity for you.

You were downed and you really believe that you were going to win?
So, what do you do against invulnerability stomps then? Stealth stomps I can at least help my team mate, can’t do anything against invulnerability stomps.
Give it a rest already. You were downed, you lost.
Let’s just removed downed system. You drop to 0 hp, you die. Problem solved.
I don’t want to have to run from point a to b longer than needed and waypoint cut down on the travel I need to do.
I don’t care about immersion.
If someone wants to skip way points, you can play with them. There are a few around that thinks the way you do and would gladly run around with anyone doing whatever.
I generally would rather get to where I want to go and do what I would rather do than have to run there and interact with a bunch of stuff that I don’t feel like doing. Since I don’t care to do the stuff in the zone I would have to run through, I would still skip the stuff and ignore map chat.
You are only going to inconvenience me and I don’t care for that because I’m not going to play the way you want me to play.
Guess what, I’m fine with that. You all need to get a grip and learn to live with it. I do not like any idea that is going to lock me into a play time when I can be on anytime of the day because every idea to do that has really sucked.
The bolded part is my thoughts exactly except to you. I think many people that play also work. I work. We all need to sleep. This isn’t about when you or even I can play. This is about when the hours when most people play. Key word “most”.
Which brings me into the concept of ‘majority rules’. If you happen to not fall in line with the majority, “get a grip and learn to live with it”.
Just like you don’t care about when I play, I don’t give a kitten when you play.
No thanks to limiting when I get to play.
If you want limits, how about we black out the time you get to play. That is fair.
Get a grip and learn to live with it. You people with this entitlement that we black out other players times make me sick.
Only inspect I am willing to have is to tell me where a particular skin came from.

I can agree. It is a waste of programming space.
People like to exaggerate because they think it make them look good. Most of the time, it is all bull and only a single skewed view instead of reality.
I don’t like it when you people want to limit the time I can play WvW.
I can be on any time during the 24 hour period because I do have a job and do need to make a living. That means while I have to sleep and work, someone else is on trying to take stuff that I worked to build up.

No thanks on the one guild per account. There are guilds that are part of an alliance and they occasionally tag under the alliance in WvW.
No thanks for seeing enemy names in WvW. Really not necessary and with the way people behave in this game, I don’t have any faith that they won’t be abusive with it.
No thanks.
I don’t think the mmaapp iiss(stupid word filter) small it self.
Most of the stuff that we fight over is in the southern half of the map.
Get rid of the PvE stuff in the northern corners of the map and expand the middle south portion of the maps and move citadel northish.
I think it would because ember spawns at the end of the anchorage assault. The event is on timer. So just despawn ember on fail. Doesn’t really need a champ there otherwise. Event active = champ spawns / Event inactive = champs despawn. Not all champs of course, just those linked to events.
Get enough people and you can get 3 ember champs to spawn continuous below both cauldrons.
This is why it was a popular farm. Did not need the boss, no one cared about the ember boss just dont break the cauldrons, and the ember champs spawned while the event was active.
I already detailed the activity in a previous post. If you are uncertain of what you/they are doing, I’d suggest re-reading rather than recycling posts.
Since the champs are still there for the whole timer, then I do not see how them despawning upon failure to complete the event will fix anything. That is what you suggested in my first response to you.
They will still be there for the duration of the timer.
So, how does champs despawning upon failure fix the problem since they will continue to spawn for farming until the timer reaches 0, which is when the event actually fails.
I do like the DE idea.
I just don’t go to most of the zones to play. There are only a few I’m going to go into and those tend to be level 80. Lower level zones don’t have the reward for my time when I’m 80, as well as not having the crafting nodes I need because once you’ve past needing iron, why bother and lower level zones do not have a chance at a T6 mat drop.
If I do go into a lower level zone, I’m looking to do a boss or dragon for the extra chest.
Unless there is a reward for me to go into a zone, I’m not going there. The PvE isn’t very fun to fight but that is the most rewarding(more than WvW) so I do the PvE to earn my gold and a few mats that I plan to use for a legendary.

I would still like to see WXP boosters like the XP boosters.
•Reduced the time to fail timer and increased the restart timer on the event to secure Shank Anchorage in the Cursed Shore.
Latest patch update.
Problem with that is we might have just one group in there or less (at the start of the chain), and we have pushed the limit of the timer with even that little scale-up. We ask weaker players to do something else for a bit, come back later?
But that is if the zergs don’t just move around to other champs there for a bit rather than just standing there waiting for ember to respawn again. So the problem isn’t eliminated, just retuned. Ember/champs need to despawn on fail, problem solved.
That won’t fix your concerns.
Champs still spawn till the timer ends. Even with them despawning on fail, there are champs to kill.
Only thing that needed changed was champs to vets.
I would pay for skins with gems if I like them.
I don’t do RNG boxes and won’t pay for them.
Any plans to separate them? WvW and PVE are very different in my experience as to what settings are needed to play at a reasonable level.
A save setting option would be nice.
This is called game balance bro, unless someone is a lvl 2 uplvled nub there is no way you can get out of a fight unscathed. Look at the video again, notice the insane regen on the warrior. You can’t tell me its balanced
Yo bro, WvW isn’t balanced on 1v1 builds and it never was meant to be either.
Nothing you have listed has any need to be removed.
I like these farms when I can bring in a low level and get some fast levels without having to use crafting. Crafting and dungeons are faster but crafting costs something if you don’t have the mats and I don’t like the dungeons much. At least I can get loot scaled to my level as I go and make something along the way.
I don’t feel like doing map completion at the moment.
I sent a question through that support option.
My name got forcibly changed.
I had been playing that character since I created it last year but now all of a sudden it is offensive.
I’m pretty sure someone troll reported my name.
Am I able to discuss the name with someone because I’d really like to understand this more since I’ve been running that character since November last year.
Charge!!!!!!!!!
Nope, it was the egg. I mean where’d the chicken come from without an egg?
Well, a critter could have given birth to the chicken in a mammel like birth.
I would like a farm.
I’m serious.
I want a plot of land I can call my own and stuff the field with whatever I wish to plant in the climate that my farm is in.
I also like gathering at farms more than the rest of the map.
Any event with a mob that can instantly kill the team being escorted and dependent upon that team staying alive is bad design. I really hate these types of events.
I don’t mind the escort ones where the escort dies, the event can continue since I can res them. The ones were it is fail on death I detest.
Once I’ve done the events a time or two, they no longer have the fun and excitement to them because I know where mobs will spawn and what I have to do.
I then move on to farm mode because there is stuff I want, mostly dyes, so I will try to make the gold in the most efficient manner possible since the events are not fun and exciting for me anymore.
What do you really expect?
I have wished the pre event didn’t have a champ at the end so that I could knock out the pre event 3 times to get Tadia up.
Too much stuff to be able to solo that pre event and you need a dedicated organized party willing to wait for the event to spawn. This map also tends to be a quiet map.
Just ignore them.
You don’t have to do what the others say.
Kill what you want and be on your way.
The chicken came first.
Didn’t read the post. Just looked at the title.
I’m bored at work.
I understood that cap to be as fast as swiftness is and nothing will let you go faster and anything that says it allows you to move x% faster is before swiftness is applied and that doesn’t stack with anything.
I’m happy they are there.
I’m only interested in exploring when I do a map for the very first time.
I have completed world completion twice now, I don’t care to have the stuff removed, and I’m also glad that I had them the first time. Stuff on the map helped me to know that I could actually get up there some where. You still have to figure out how to get to those points on the map.
If people want to GvG, let them.
I’ve only been getting them from jumping puzzles and it seems like every jumping puzzle.
I’ve never gotten a rare out of the jumping puzzles.
I really doubt that they replace any kind of rare.
Failing to complete an event is not an exploit. You can continue to try and label it as such but it is not and just make you look foolish no matter what kind of spin you are trying to put on it just to make yourselves look right.
I think they will add in different animations with other parts of the living story.
I don’t think players should be herded around with penalties, but encouraged to explore with incentives. It might be better if instead of a penalty, champions who have been up for a while (often a long time) or that haven’t been done for a long time reward far more loot than ones killed every 8 minutes or whatever. Just my 2c though.
Then you’ll see forum posts about how people are being yelled at because they killed the champ too early.
I am against DR measures and am starting to tire of the attempts to curb farming. There are occasions that I’d like to make a quick bit of gold but because of drop nerfs, I’m not able to make that little bit fast enough. I already earn gold at a glacial pace as it is.
Because of the current farm and the history of nerfing, I am going to take advantage of the current farm.
If farming hadn’t been nerfed, I wouldn’t have cared to farm with this or any event.

Just remove rally.
I don’t see that happening though because of finishers.
(edited by CreativeAnarchy.6324)
I would like to see a couple of towers in the north end or maybe a second invading server spawn and move citadel more centerish with bay and hills on north and south sides instead of east west and put a couple more towers where bay and hills were.
If these things are not useable in the JP, what good are they then?
And if these things are not good for anything in the areas they are allowed to be used in, then why should a class get a trait or skill to bump up swiftness just because someone can craft this useless pice of junk?
OP, what do you want to play?
We talking PvE, PvP, or WvW?
PvE, you can be full kitten DPS and have few problems but in WvW you have to have some kind of defensive mechanic because you’ll meet that condition player that will be able to do some damage if you don’t bring some way to deal with that, especially if the are ranged and can kite you around.

Unlike Thieves, Warrior have a limited ways of handling conditions.
Mending takes care of 3 conditions
Shake it off takes care of another condition
Dolyak Signet and Balanced Stance gives stability and are stun breakersOh and Signet of Stamina gets rid of all conditions on you at once.
Yeah, warriors handle conditions insanely well now.
So you went to list all condition removal skills just to counter my point without thinking that maybe — just maybe — you cannot possibly bring all those.
Typically a Warrior will bring 1-2 condition removals with low cooldown. Compare that to a Thief, for example, where they can remove condition on demand without sacrificing a utility slot.
The thief is not doing top DPS if they traited into shadow arts.
That’s a lie. 10pts into SA is not a DPS sacrifice.
Warrior can slot 2 skills for condition removal and only take a small hit to DPS since they don’t have to put any trait points into conditon removal and they can also still get a few conditions removed with heal trait and warhorn if they want to have that on a second set.
Warrior has way more options to remove conditon, traits or skills, than thief does.
Options is not the point here. While the Warrior is suffering from a condition and and their removals are in CD, they’re DPS drops. While the Thief, Mesmer, Ele, Necro, Eng, Ranger, and Guardian can handle conditions sooner than Warrior, thus preventing drop in DPS.
Meh, not a lie, just wrong. A lie is an intentional misrepresentation with the intent to decieve.
Wrong is just being incorrect.
I though it was a grand master trait, not adept. I was just mixing up traits.
As far as a drop in DPS, it depends upon the condition that is applied because not all will cause a drop in DPS. It also depends upon the mob. Some PvE mobs will spam weakness and others will spam bleed. I haven’t seen a bleed mob get their stack very high either.
In order for that thief to remove conditions, they have to stay in stealth for 3 seconds because it only removes 1 condition for every 3 seconds in stealth, while that warrior will still continue to DPS provided their HP hold out. I can’t speak for any other class because I have not played them.
I will say that warrior over thief will do better DPS if condition removal is required because a warrior has a better HP pool to eat that condition damage and doesn’t have to stealth and do nothing while waiting for the condition to be removed.
I will also state that saying one is better isn’t really accurate because it all depends upon the situation you are trying to play.

There is a guardian ability that hits everything, that is what I was told. They don’t want them to keep the party alive, they want them to tag.
