accept that elite is better then core. Core is still playable and good to learn. I can PvE and go WvW with core and win and i can fight PvP in broze or silver without to much disadvantage. As long as elite specs are alternatives this will work. The realy bad stuff would be if newer elites powercreep more. Elite specs should be alternatives on the same level but deserve the wording elite. Base is F2P.
Guess devs got overruled by marketing and revenue assurance ….
depends what they do. If they go for slight staff nerfs that don´t impact pvp/wvw combat much i won´t care. If the do trait nerf impacting non meta pvp builds negative then i don´t know. Another total fail to find the right spot. So i hope …

I myself only swap if i see my warrior will counter oposing team composition, especially when its stacked and i wait out what oposing team does till a few seconds before start to hit the mark … I will swap even if i stack on our side. I do it rarley but this is bad stuff ….
I would rework confusion to be a condition that impacts targeting not damage this will then also impact mesmer…. But guess this is unlikely to happen.
Too little, too late. We should have it all by now: no queue swap + no profession stacking + hidden enemy players at start + profession based MMR for each player + new maps with new game modes + exploit mitigation + easy build swap before match + many more.
But all those topics were so much discussed and so much proposed in the last 5 years, that I don’t even know why I even bother writing or voting anymore. I think it’s only my fellow mates, still keeping me in the PvP area.

I somtimes swap to. But not for team comp. I swap to counter enemy stacked classes and i look if oponent swaps before. And i load fast. Can Q outside of mists and have SSD HD … LoL. Can it actually be that swaping classes support build wars? Fast PC´s and “Pro” poker gaming who swaps best?

unfortunately this will prevent class MMR usage and Class Leaderboards and thus improving the match quality. Class lock on Q would solve the class daily or artefact requirement issues by ranking players acording their class skill. It won´t have negativ impact below platin and bring benefit to the larger part of the player base.
And if we talk at high level it will come down to swap in the last moment tricks to coutner oposing team as good as possible and i see this done by stacking classes too.
No is the “I fear a change” answer or even worse “I fear to loose a benefit” ot the i don´t trust ANet to use this change to improve the game. Alls three options are hindering progress.

But having 5 zerkers (because you can’t control what the people are running as builds)In my opinion this can be easily fixed if you can queue up as Roamer, DPS or DPS/DEF Support, next to the class-stacklimit. So that you would always have 5 different classes AND different roles (1 roamer allowed per team, 2 or 3 DPS allowed per team and 1-2 Support allowed per team).
People also are afraid of class-stacklimit because it would make queue times longer.
Anet can also implent a code where class-stacklimit increase from 1 to 2 after a 4-5mins queue.TL;DR all the stuff people are afraid about can be fixed by Anet in the longrun, but they don’t want to take the risk of voting “yes”.
Unfortunately …. Classic human behavior. If unease majority votes no. And a few negative comments can sowball this. The start of the poll was clearly in favor of yes.
Result: Vote for no change and missed oportunity to build a base for improvement.
i hope for a targeted change if it comes not WvW and PvP affecting… Usually the impact is much larger destroying the hope for build diversity. If it´s the large hitboxes then this should be targeted from system mechanic side.
This change for yes is a huge oportunity to create a base to work on. Shure custom templates, class leaderboards, and adapting matchmaker is part of it and i am confident devs think of this. Otherwise it would not make sense. A No is realy hindering progress and better matchmaking (from system side, not if platin+ players adapt team comp … which is an absolute minority).
After start is a fix. On Q is progress….

Wit a 1 minute or even kitten CD it would be goregeous. But always think what might it do for other professions. The concept for racials is to be worse then class abilities not to make races to be selected for their utilities.
Maybe its the redistribution after settling match that it evens out sides better. I did´t see more then two on one side for a while. Maybe people just play more classes … I personally think this should be enough so it needs 5 of one class that there are three on one side.
It seems they already did limit class stacking. Double on one side still happens regulary though …

I do it too but less tanky is the most fun for me. I use a lot viper pieces.
Even if classes are stacked i vote yes as it´s a requirement to go ahead to use per class score, stacking rules and better match making. Might happen that things get half made next season but better then not moving forward. And i think it´s better for 90% of the playerbase to lock on Q. Also it will tell which classes are solo Q powerhouses much clearer which helps further balancing. Look forward for all players not how to be the best on your own.
The problem is that my vote option is not present ^^.
Keep 1-2 Q and add a full premade one as teamplayground.
And even better add a 3:3 mode ^^.
Agree to custom templates. 2-3 stored builds per class would be great.
It´s logic that classes better suited to have an impact in uncoordinated solo Q will be played more. I think it will only be marginaly more due to the few swapers that go for a counter or drop second thief will be gone but double class should already be much less.
I am quite shure after the last update i did´t encounter triple class on one side and noticed more match preparations going back to Q.
And why support class stacking? Mobile damage or self sustaining brusiers usually work better in the current Q system then annything relying on teammates. It´s a mind thing to differ between 5 man premade meta and solo Q.
Per class boards and more accurate MMR due to class MMR is a good thing. The only thing is that the few that do adapt to team composition have to use build not class swap. I am quite shure that the “swapers” are only a small part of the playerbase. Shure they see it as “skill” to adapt and taking an advantage off always leads to complaints.

I play more WvW after the season and when i do a daily PvP match i realize Q restart regulary. But as mentioned from others i also see lots of my friends in the new story areas.
i guess most writing here are very good players. Please think about that platin and above is a huge minority and then look at the change again.
Be creative and swap build. It might not be as optimal changing the role as another class with it but it can counter or surprise with huge impact. It´s just diffrent.
When people see me on ele the assume support. And then i kill beasts in a few seconds and down thiefs or engies on point faster then a warrior … I win a match due to peope underestimating my damage.
I see very good oportunities with locking. Shure build diversity matters if locked and saved build templates for easy change before match start would be realy good.
Most players don´t swap classes. Shure good players that can multiclass do it. Even i do it swaping war/ele if i see a benefit but i won´t miss it. I hope for more useful traits to allow more diversity in a class but i agree that per class MMR used in MM is a very good thing!
If this poll doesn´t lead to per class MMR used and maybe in the future score then its a waste.

Definitly lock it and use per class MMR. So it´s locked after you klick Q.
When reading it i first thought Yeaaaaa per class MMR. Next season with team balance after selecting substitutes and lockes classes using MMR will be great …
Locking it in match is good but only 10% …. Sigh
And for adapting to enemy team… This is not bound to a class. I regulary swap utilities and build but not class.

Fresh air does not live from overload. I think temepest is an add on that gives options but not mandatory for fresh air.
Did you ever try such a build (see below)? Healing can be adapted depending on condi removal needed, take glyph or pick arcane brilliance for more damage. Eather renewal is an emergency cleanse like port out, heal up and come back to attack, Classic kiting even better with obstacles and superspeed.
Devasting fun … you have lower CD for your swaps, lots of blinds, hit hard and defend with weakness and bring pain by shoking aura which means +20% damage for some hits…. And even with overloads this is a skillful build. You will mainly overload air. You want the other elements with low swap CD.
And if you like main dagger more take it. You have less range but it´s good. Offhand dagger has worse cooldowns and no magnetic wave/obsidian flesh … So sadly no good option. It´s better 1:1 but you deal a lot damage also in group fights and if you are targeted it might get worse for your oponent due to so much shock aura uptime.

2:2 might be already to low but 3:3 can be great even if some teamcompositions won´t be optimal. And for the above example the two thiefs might kill the druid fast i assume that two P/P thiefs with basi venom win this … So we might see diffrent builds which would be good.
well not a new concept ;-) but i would like it. The tranform should make you an elemental of the current attuenement changing skills 1-5.
I agree a map like foefire or capricorn might work for 3:3 maybe skyhammer too.
I support 2:2 and 3:3 game modes. The key is easy access so the button in the mists to Q for it (if you have a fitting team so grouped 2 or 3). The thing of this might be the size of the playerbase and a resulting split but not shure. I would try it. A two point arena with maybe 300 not 500 Points for the win where its fought out.
For me the current 1-2 system is the best compromise but a pure 5 man Team Q should be added. I also support more game modes (2:2, 3:3, 4:4) but not 1:1 that i see as training mode. But i fear many diffrent game modes have a to low pvp base but not shure.
A pure 1:1 and 5:5 mode setup would kill the “Play with a friend” and thats bad from a social perspective and so general for the playerbase. Saying people should build full teams won´t work. 99% can´t or won´t build full teams.

Its a good all around armor for starting. Soldier makes not much sense as the vitality is not realy needed. I used Knight and then made a commanders ascended, which i think is the better one. As weapon i use a cavalier GS and captain trinkets with traiting armored attack but anny maurauder and berserker mix can be done well. Usually warrior goes for damage with beserker beeing most common.
maybe some facetank the ele and eat 3-5 phönix hits from marauder ele + double lighning (swap + bolt) and say he has top burst. I did 10k SINGEL hits with warrior. An ele is gone in two hits if protection is down.
For me the trait with the potential to make more offensive tempests viable would be a 20% CD reduction on tempestious aria. So by dropping regen and vigor you get more damage and still have defence with weakness left. It won´t push current support ele but might allow a more hybrid tempest. Not shure if this will be enough to compete with invigoration torrets for me yes. Maybe it will allow non water eles?
Well a large rework might help …
Drop EB. Rework it as third border map so we have three afterwards that rotate.
Give rewards for controlign the map. The more structures a side controls the more reward track progress is gained. And this very noticeable.
Make supplies count much more. Increase the defence of towers significant (more and faster guard spawing up to a level where a group can´t take it easy). Depending on camps controled. If you have all camps a tower walls are swarmed by defending guards.
Drop righteous indignation down to three minutes.
Maybe this brings a bit more pepper ….
I play nearly exclusive S/F and warrior is propably the hardest to fight. Thief is way easier except that he will run away often. Necromancer, mesmer and warrior are the “counters” for me. While i can get the first two on their wrong foot warrior is to much sustain, cc, damage and mobility packed for an ele.

Bait dodge with bull rush, bait strunbreak with headbut, zerk with tount , burst with 7k and 10k hits .. dead thief. And have some paitence and wait till your adrenalien is up and during this time he should have useded up some evades.
And sometimes i just 100 blade if hes jumping around me…. As warrior you should be able to stand some hits be it due to stances or rousing resilience (if you use that).
playing for fun Axe/Axe can make a nice build. Unfortunately greatsword with its mobility options is normaly better.
I did put something to try out in PvP unranked. Should have good hybrid damage. Use axe 3 and 5 in you firefield :-). Or do it in berserk mode. Leap on oponent with mace then torch 5 and swap to Axe 5.
Leap into oponents with stomp (get stab), ignit yourself with torch 5, swap and use axe 5 …

cutting diversity is always bad for long term exitment … Be it builds or maps.
I did´t see khylo since the patch but the walls and windows mid, s oyou can´t clearly see in or over it and the usage as cover to break los was an important part of the map.
Making jumping easier and removing camera issues is definitly a good thing.

Indeed GW2 gets more a solo and play with a friend game. Many guilds are dying or already gone (Mine too only three left :-( ). Both player types should be supported well to keep a healthy world.
I don´t know what others do but here an example what might happen if i am jumped.
Assume i am in air with my ele (sage amulet using scepter)
you attack (including a cc like basi venom and putting condies on me) and try to pull of an attack chain, so you don´t dodge in the first second …
2+3 (2 fingers on mouse) = bolt, blind, twitch hand for latch between fingers on mouse where i have bound elemental swaps and in this case swap earth, press utility 7 with thump on left mous side firing feel the burn, same thump up triggering left latch firing util 9 (cleansing flame).
ALL instants. It will hit you before you finish your second attack which strikes fire aura.
If i have been prepared for a fight i might now release rock barrier while i use left hand to circle and face you + might call target. (all targeting and moving is on left hand as well es two ele swaps and weapon swap if i play warrior).
After that combo i dodge (might hit you with evasive arcana) and watch you not attacking not to trigger the daredevils cleanse on dodge. I am ready to react on missile use or anotter ele swap (fire for preassure) depending on reaction. Since i use sage the condies will kill a thief without cleanse.
This instant reaction + your second attack will do the following in my pvp build.
On me:
Break stun, give me 4 Might stacks, pull up fire aura, pull up frost aura (assuming your first hit was hard) Both auras heal me. Remove 5 conditions, pull up 15 seconds protection, 9 seconds furry. (Note: I will also heal, + share protect, might, furry and pull the auras on teammates in range)
On you:
about 2k damage, 5 burn stacks. 6 bleed stacks (if rock barrier fully hits), poision, chill, criple, blind, weakness. This is at about 3k condi dps and its covered. This was like a twitch in my right hand … no macro.
You better dodge in the first second breaking off the attack while the rock barrier releases. Any beginner trying to hit me in the aura is usually dead after 5 seconds.
A macro will make it more complicated, i won´t do all the same in a diffrent situation, e.g. i might swap fire and not use util 9 to attack with a dodge into oponent (flame burst) and phönix at close range.
The question is: Will you assume a macro if this happens to you ? And it will be quite similar evry time …

Per class MMR and class/team staking ?
I use a mouse with about 12 buttons and made keybinds adapted to me for my left hand.
I am not shure if you would think i use a macro or not when i fire multiple skills as reflex on a thief jumping me often killing him a few seconds later … After playing similar ele builds for one and a half year keys and soundtriggers are memorized …. Begining to play WvW i struggled fighting. Now i will tear new players appart in 1:3. I don´t feel that i am a top player but i feel a large diffrence. I thought if a macro will benefit me at the begining but i dont care about it because i don´t see a benefit. My playstyle is flexible and a macro might acutally handicap me or at least be of no benefit. GW2 is build well here. While a macro might raise the performance of low level players the impact after you can master your class seems minimal.
The only way to see fun come back would be to adapt the system to reward spread fighting (Objectives) and punish blobs. Large groups should only be a benefit for keep siege. A side that has two scouts and a blob should totally loose against a bunch of roaming teams and each player feel the diffrence in rewards.
And runes plus some traits that are clearly over the top in WvW should be adapted like in PvP on a regular basis. It´s often not much and even not impeding PvE. Like durability rune which had been removed from PvP for a reason … My opinion here is to remove the boonshare and make it only self. WvW balance will always be behind due to all the gear possibilities. Thats not to bad but should be watched.

Greast one … But some very powerful things in it like Sand Veil which will allow easy stealth access ;-). I would change earth skills on sword to have poision in the autochain and have weakness on number 2 but well i would like that smoke field ^^.
Indeed even larger fight up to 10:10 can be intresting. But again great diversity might get underminded by population split issues.
