What Sacrx say is that every single problem of WvW that we had at launch and still now after 12 months has been reported multiple times by them more than 6 months before launch and has been ignored because in talks with Devs they said quite clearly “WvW will be extra causal has no value and we’ll take care only of Spvp cause it will be esport”. And that’s just the first thing from alpha that he unveils, because the rest of the vid goes on with that kind of news.

I have seen quite a few problems fixed in WvW. But for some reason people seems to ignore that.
It is also quite cute how they feel high and mighty enough to completely ignore the NDA they signed in order to be allowed into the alpha testing (which, as far as I know, is permanent and does not lift even after stuff goes live).

WvW was never advertised to be a hardcore game mode. It has always been stated to be a casual part of the game where people can log in and do stuff when the feel like it.

WvW is supposed to be WvW, not GvG, this have been stated by ArenaNet several times, and thus GvG in WvW won’t be supported.

And based on the fact that the patch is about 3 weeks away my guess is that it is far from final and even if they are real they should be taken with a grain of salt.

And yet the vast majority haven’t even commented on the issue. Nor have all that commented on the issue said that they don’t like it. Stop using the word as majority when the majority doesn’t even visit the forums, much less posts in threads like these.

People need to understand that posts that say: “OMG this dev is the best, all other devs should be like him!!” more or less “forces” other devs to start being like said dev, and that is not possible for certain kinds of people or certain projects.
Therefore the management don’t want to give the community a reason to make said statement as that will simply put even more pressure on the other devs.

It is really as simple as that.

The point is that it will be more or less impossible to truthfully claim to know what the majority of the community want, since the majority will never make their voices heard. One can however assume that the majority of those that makes their voices heard are those that are unhappy.

When people won’t even take a level 80 PUG who isn’t a Warrior, Guardian or Mesmer, this isn’t really an issue. This grimick is more designed for guildmates who want to help their low level guildmates out.

Of course they can enter. But how many groups would take them when it is labeled as lvl 80?
How many pre-lvl 80 did Playhouse? Or Molten Alliance Facility?
I have seen plenty of pugs where all classes are welcome. But the thing is that a lvl 30 player don’t have access to the same stuff as a lvl 80 player, thus he would be at a massive disadvantage in a lvl 80 dungeon, even if he was upscaled.

Oh, a minuscule part of the community have said something in a thread (where quite a few of the posts actually are in favor of the buff no less) is sure a good indicator about how the community as a whole feel.

The community is MUCH bigger than the forum-goers. And even by only counting forumites it is a rather small minority that have posted in that thread.

^ And yet the “community” is more than one group.
There are most likely just as many people that likes the stat-buff that there are people that doesn’t.
Why would the group that doesn’t have more value in their feedback? Because you agree with them?

And make it completely impossible for pre-lvl 80 people to ever get the dungeons done?
If a dungeon is labeled as 80 people won’t (in most cases) take people under level 80, even if they scale up.

The lower leveled dungeons are built for lower level players. Don’t change them based around max-leveled player.

And here we are again. People that simply don’t understand the simply fact that WvW has never been stated nor supposed to be fair.
If you want fair fights you go to sPvP.

WvW is about siege, tactics and big battles. There is nothing fair in war.

In many big fights people don’t actually stomp though. But rather just AoE the enemy down, which would mean that a system that only rewarded stomping would be quite toothless.

The stat-buff is a rather good reason for people to make sure to take the buff and/or make sure the enemy doesn’t. Which in turn will also break up zergs and that is a good thing.

I would say it is safe to assume that the Ascended Crafting added in the latest patch was a first step towards it.

The only proper source of undead in GW2 would be Risen. And those aren’t even a race. Not to mention Risen are Zhaitan’s minions.

There are non-Orrian undead as well.
Half of Elona (more or less) is full of Undead for one.

One of the big issues with that is that the weapons (and most likely the armor when it gets released) require a specific Inscription to be crafted.
If you can simply change the stats on the fly people would only ever create the one with the most common t6 material.

How do you think that would effect the game? Do you really think it would make the game and community better? I am almost completely sure that the only thing it would accomplish would be to have people abuse other people because they join the map and remove their buff.

This can already be seen in the game with the scaling events. If someone turns up and make the event harder people will abuse them until they leave because they want an easy fight.

We will (on the 17th) have a new permanent reworked version of Tequatl and big permanent overhaul of the borderlands in WvW.

Yes, I think it is a good way to break up zergs and “force” people to spread out and actually work together.

I would say that the hostility come mainly because some GvG:er here on the forums more or less says: “We GvG:ers are the only ones that do useful stuff in WvW, the rest of you are unorganized and don’t help the server at all”, which more or less is to say that other people are useless.

There are some high-leveled zones close to the starter zones.
If you look at the map you will be able to see the level-span of a zone.

This isn’t really something new though.
We had a commander that tried doing this back when WXP was released as well. So I highly doubt it is tied directly to Ascended stuff.

You can easily get continue coins in-game without ever spending a single gem.

I really don’t see the pay 2 win component here.
It is not like the coin lets you skip half the zones, you still have to actually complete everything on your own, you simply get unlimited chances without having to spend baubles.

Talking about believes is quite hard, especially since some of the gods (the human ones) are proven to exist, which would make their existence a fact rather than a belief.

Well, the vast majority of items becomes account-bound after changing the stats, so not really possible to profit from it.

Recycled stuff would however refer to something like another fight that had the exact same mobs and mechanics.
That is not the case here, since you are quite clearly getting a more or less new fight with several new mechanics.

The Lore behind sPvP is basically “reliving” version of past battles.

So.. during the Bazaar month people complained about it only being mini-games and wanted something different.
Now this month we have had something different and then people complain about it being only farming.

I wonder what next month will be complained about..
No matter what they release people will always complain about it.
