Disrupting the economy
Racial prejudice
Trahearne.Well if this is true its very, very disappointing news. Two of those things are low fantasy issues that are found in real life and the third is the return of a much hated character.
My god did they not learn anything from season 1?!?? Its time for the Sylvari to take a step back and not be in the limelight for a change. I have a sylvari character and I’m sick of my race being in the thick of it. Give us a break!
Also how about some high fantasy stories?! like a search for an ancient magical artifact, or strange and wondrous creatures terrorizing the land, or some mysterious figure of power that commands a legion of undead. A bunch of traders disrupting the economy is such a lame idea, followed by a social story of racial prejudice.
BOOOooooo so boring. And why not lets bring back Trahearne to really make it terrible.

Get out of my brain! It’s mine!

Clear the game cache
Most TP-specific issues are primarily related to some temporary GW2 files where removing them will allow them to be recreated and the TP to function properly again.
The quickest way to clear the GW2 Cache is to:
If your search for “gw2cache” does not produce the folder I mentioned, then you will need to enable hidden files and folders in order to delete this cache folder.
Make hidden files visible and clear the game cache
—note—
By “window menus” I mean up at the top of the window where it says “File Edit View Tools Help”. If that bar does not display in your window for you along the top, then click the drop-down arrow next to the word “Organize” and then click on “Layout” and select “Menu bar” to enable showing of the menus (attached image #2).Another way to do Steps 3, 4 and 5 to make hidden folders visible is:
- Click your Start menu and then open Control Panel
- In your Control Panel, if items are sorted by “Category” then select “Appearance and Personalization” on the right side, then in the second bottom area under “Folder Options” click on “Show hidden files and folders”. This will open the same options dialogue box shown in attached image #1.
- Otherwise, if Control Panel is sorted by Icons, simply click on “Folder Options” from the list to bring up the options dialogue box shown in attached image #1.
There is a thread on this issue over in the technical support section.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/tech/Crashing-due-to-a-Invalid-Character-Motion
Please review the red ArenaNet posts in the thread for details how to include all requested information from you on the issue, what the status is on working out the issue, and what the next step for those affected should be.
An updated appearance I recently did for one of my older rangers.

Must. Have. That. Algae. Dye.
x . x
Exquisite!
Edit: How did you make you spinning gif image?
Edit 2: I would suggest the Majory’s Weapon skins and, maybe, Crystalline Blade. The latter may lack the impact factor, imo. Best fit would be the sword from Tequatl’s Hoard.
Thanks! I love algae dye. I tried forever to catch it down around 30g with 21 available. Then someone bought all of them but 5 and re-listed them all at like 180g+ so buy orders jumped quickly to over 100g. Then the dye reimbursement date hit and my 60g BO got filled quickly from all the dyes being acquired and sold. If you need some gold to pick it up I’ll ‘halfies’ it with you so you can get it!
Oh nice idea! I haven’t really done Tequatl, but that sword does look pretty decent.
I actually was running through Rata today and stopped in my tracks when I saw this guy standing there (pic). I sat on my broom beside him for a few seconds and then he literally walked over to the bank and came back. Then poof: we were both on our brooms with our toxic minis standing guard. Same dyes and all. It was awesome.
Gifs:
I use a program called InstaGiffer.
I then use a program called GifOptimizer to optimize the gif so it is a much smaller file size without losing quality.
Attaching gifs:
The forums didn’t always have a problem with adding a gif to a post. However, it recently started giving an error page after sitting there waiting for it to upload for a long time.
The best way I’ve found is to make your comment and post it. Then edit your comment and go to add the gif the same as any other image. Make sure to add an extra return or a space or something so your post so it will actually be changed and update. Added pics don’t usually display if no edit was actually made to the text. If/when you get the error page just let it stay up. It seems like it stopped attempting to upload it, but it is still uploading it to the post despite giving the error page. Continue waiting while it continues to upload the gif.
Ideally, have a duplicate tab/page of the full thread you were making your comment in so you can refresh that one to tell when your post actually gets made so you can then close the error page.
If you attach a gif and get the error page, then hit ‘back’ and try to attach it again you will end up with two of the same gif attached when it eventually finishes attaching and updating your post…or you may end up with duplicate posts, each with the gif attached to them when it finishes uploading both queued posts with their uploads.
Hope that helped. I can help more if you want/need it. Just wanted to give as much info as possible.

Wasn’t it recently confirmed by a dev to be a bug? In a video or something?
Yes. There was a screencap of an in-game map discussion with a dev where she stated that the ‘error attempting to sell’ bug was, indeed, a bug, and that it should be fixed soon.
In my opinion it appears to be related to your forced “Ambient Occlusion” setting in your NVidia Control Panel.
As it only becomes apparent at far distances, it would seem there is an issue with the enhanced shadowed elements of terrain not being obscured by fog and sandstorm effects, while the terrain elements the shadows themselves are cast upon are.
There’s a bit of a history with GW2, NVidia and Ambient Occlusion.
[ 1 , 2 ] (and many more using google to find others discussing it and getting it to work right)
I recommend setting it to “Off” instead of “Quality” in your GW2 NVidia profile.
Here are some pics of it being experienced by others when dealing with obscuring effects such as fog.
I don’t have NVidia so I am not sure of more recent discussions on the matter. Sorry I cannot be of more help in this regard.
I’m sure there is information available around the net to get AO to work right if you really desire it to be enabled in GW2. I had glanced at some info discussing the use of a Skyrim AO nvidia config or something to get it to look right in GW2.

Those should go in a separate ‘effects’ section in the wardrobe, not using up gear skins.
Same for other visuals that are potions now, like the Selfless halo. There should be a way to unlock them as effects.
I completely agree. Same with the polyundulating refractors and such. :\
If the game needs to download and replace a damaged file found in the gw2.dat archive during repair, and the game does not have the ability to modify the gw2 archive file and overwrite that damaged file, then it will try to re-download the entire gw2.dat archive file all over again.
Check to make sure that:
This will help make sure the game can properly modify files within the archive so it won’t think it needs to re-download the entire game again.
Hey Dulfy, do you think it would be possible to make another set of armor previews for the dyes with some of the heavy armor with more metal pieces?
I know you chose the 6 sets used in your dye previews based on specific criteria, but since these dyes are specifically made to look good on metal (at least I assume based on the name) it might be nice to get a couple previews with a few of the armor sets that are full plate mail and such.
Does this help, Electro? I also included a side-by-side with my current FXAA PPI enhanced graphics settings to help show the contrast on the materials.
I also second RottenRagamuffin’s statement of do not buy the dye packs, just buy the dye you want from the TP. You’re guaranteed to get the dye you want without gambling and will cost less than repeatedly playing their silly game in the hopes of getting the one you want.
It usually takes me 3-4 minutes for The Grove, and 3-4 minutes for Rata Sum. For me, it is actually quicker to run those two cities, delete and remake the character and run them again than it is to run the other cities on that initial character.
Couple your T-Charge runs in before a BL Key run and the key run goes faster as well due to the levels you gain from exploring those two cities. So create a character, map Rata Sum, map The Grove, return and do the key run. 2 T-Charges and a BL Key in +/- 40 minutes depending on key run preps (down to 31 min for this back-to-back run personally, looking to get under 30 soon).
Which species?
Male or female?
I love the use of the term, “new technology” used to describe an animation applied to the skill bar for revenant swaps. As if it’s some amazing breathrough or something.
Anyways, someone should develop a plug-in for Chrome that blocks Vayne’s nonsensical forum posts. That’s some “new technology” I could get behind.
ANet and other businesses that use that kind of exaggerative speech to describe something that is barely noteworthy has always made me groan. Its use actually tells me quite a lot about a company and the state of their product(s).
ANet uses it a lot, disappointingly. Though they didn’t always.
I had actually made my own extension when I used Opera 12 that I could add a person’s account name to a list and it’ll automatically hide their entire comment blocks while viewing threads. Basically my own block/hide feature for the forums. I finally left O12 to use Firefox some time ago and haven’t converted it over for use here yet. I should look into porting it to FF and Chrome sometime.

I’m not exactly sure what you want here. You spent 3 years creating a weapon and now you’re heartbroken because you don’t get the foot falls? Maybe it’s just the way I think but I can’t imagine selling something I worked 3 years for.
Um…I don’t see anything in the OP that mentions selling it.
Pleasant adventures to you, Jeff!
I’ve always respected and enjoyed your creative mind. I sincerely look forward to seeing what it produces for AGS.
Another mail carrier was released today, complete with the same annoying, overly loud, and completely out of place and unnecessary ‘bling’ sound.
I was very interested in buying this new Sylvari Seed Pod mail carrier until Dulfy’s video revealed that it, too, contained the same undesirable aspect as these bird carriers do.
/sigh
StinVec: THANK YOU for the information on core parking. Using the 2nd utility in your post, LA went from a bouncy 11FPS, AA off/shadows low to 21-30FPS AA on/shadows high. Steady 35FPS AA off/Shadows low.
Poor laptop will probably blow a gasket but GW2 looks even purtier.
OP, hope you can solve your problem. <- You solved it, congrats!
:) I’m glad it has helped you to get better performance.
That trailer looks promising. But I’m not getting any hopes up, I mean it wouldn’t be the first time we got a great trailer followed by a somewhat disappointing release.

Is it a joke?
- At first glance it is a little humorous and you start to chuckle at the absurdity of it.
- Then it really starts to sink in as you visualize it and you start to think…
- “Nah, They wouldn’t do that…would they?”
- Then it hits you that it really isn’t that funny.
- And as your chuckle begins to trail off, you realize that you can actually see this happening.
- Then you find yourself staring at your screen with a single thought pounding in your mind…
- “They might actually do this…”…
No, the asure will probably discover a ‘fix’ so that the waypoints can’t be used by the vines anymore. Anet will probable require you to go each seperate waypoint and interact with it to fix it. After your finished fixing the last waypoint Trahearne shows up and take credit for fixing all the waypoints . :/
Seriously, Trahearnes life mission was to purify Orr, if he even dares to step one foot outside of Orr, then lets just say that The next story part will involve me as the villain XD
I was reading your reply with the serious kind of speculation it started out with, and I was like “yeah, well, maybe they will do somethi…” – then you smacked me in the head with a big plate of Trahearne out of nowhere and I burst out laughing!
Good post, Nathan, very good post. Thank you, I really needed that.
He is the same player that made that post. He does not understand for some reason. https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/bltc/Am-I-the-only-one-experiencing-this/first. I remember that post because one of my highest post is in it.
Oh…wow. I’m not quite sure what to think now since this person felt the need to bring the same topic up once again 2 and a half months after the first thread they made on it (which even had the John Smith explaining it to them then).
I think we should all just back away from this thread very slowly…and then, as skritt say, “Run away!”

This would be better handled by sending this information to ANet directly:
I recommend editing your post immediately and removing this info that can be exploited before it allows damage to be caused and sending it to the email I mentioned.
Perhaps some of your filters are changed to hide some elements.
Click on the little eyeball icon in the very bottom left corner of the world map to open the filters.
Make sure all elements are checked/enabled to then be shown on the map.

Really. You think the folks whose livelihoods depend on the game and have been working towards this release for about two years now didn’t think about it?
Yep.
Just like they didn’t predict the massive outcry when they announced the price of the expansion.
Or when they announced the new “gold to gem” conversion system.
Or any of the other times when they had to take back a decision they had made because of a massive community outcry that they didn’t properly predict.
You can claim that ArenaNet is perfect and thinks everything through correctly and perfectly. This mess with the specialization points show otherwise.
If anything, this is a sign of how poorly they are doing. People are complaining because the specializations are locked behind a grind wall. The grind wall exists because ArenaNet is trying to artificially inflate the duration of HoT. They are artifically trying to inflate the duration of HoT because the expansion has very little content. HoT has very little content because ArenaNet couldn’t make more, even after all this time working on the expansion without adding new content to the core game. ArenaNet couldn’t make more content because they are extremely ineffective at making things.
And that explains why they are doing so poorly. We know that:
- ArenaNet had basically to make server merges with the megaserver thing, due to how empty the maps were.
- ArenaNet itself had said that, if they did it right, the Living World would mean they wouldn’t make an expansion. Here we are with an expansion, hinting that no, they didn’t do the Living World right.
- We also know the GW2 earnings during the Living World and, accordingly, it didn’t stop falling. Not only the LW didn’t raise the earnings like expansions do, it didn’t even prevent them from falling.
- GW2 became free to play, and we know that no MMORPG went free to play when its previous business model was being a success.
- NCSoft, which completely owns ArenaNet, has distanced itself from GW2. We have been told that it’s ArenaNet who’s publishing GW2 now, instead of NCSoft; the lack of advertisement about HoT is a very clear sign of how few resources ArenaNet has as far as publishing goes when compared to NCSoft itself.
- HoT has been released in a hurry, with many promised features that aren’t actually here but have been postponed for “later” (legendary weapons – they didn’t release even the three they had mentioned earlier -, raids, the new squad system, etc…).
- Lots of important people have left ArenaNet this year. Chris Whiteside, Eric Flannum, Jon Peters, Kristen Perry… Many of those have left in the last few months.
If they really did think so thoughtfully about things, they wouldn’t be in the middle of all those issues.
With the current mess about the specialization grind being just one more mess among many.
I had no idea Kristen Perry left!
Reading about this makes me very sad. I had compiled a huge post talking about her history and asking about what she has been up to in regards to HoT that I was going to make after the HoT dust settled. I guess I can just scrap that. :\
She’s such an awesome person. I hope she is doing well wherever she has moved on to.
I’ll be gone for 6-8 hours, but if someone does not assist you by the time I get back then I will screenshot all of the character creation sliders and settings to get that exact look when I get back later on.
Aquatic masks are not head armor, it is a different slot entirely. This is not confusing.
Your statement is not entirely accurate. Aquatic head armor clearly states “Head Armor” on the tool-tip description of every single aquatic head armor, just as dry-land head armor states “Head Armor” in their description tool-tips. Both dry-land and aquatic head armor stating in all of their tool-tips that they are all described as being “Head Armor”, while both having different functionality and not being interchangeable is exactly why I am requesting that they clearly state “Dry-land Head Armor” or “Aquatic Head Armor” in the descriptions for “Head Armor” skins in future releases. This would have been especially important with the Gas Mask skin as its appearance and described functionality would seem to permit it to be used underwater, which also caused this release page item description to be even more misleading, not just to me, to many others as well.

I’ve now included this thread in my Tracker – Living Story/Game Update Bugs thread. I’m very sorry to see this situation and what is apparently not being done to correct it.
They’re Hulk Smash gloves!
Seriously, these gloves look like those toy Incredible Hulk hands that are huge…and are also green.
The pact needs to be deunionized. The orders function better by themselves, we don’t need all our marbles in one basket, and it’s harder for the enemy to be aware of and attempting to thwart 3 organization’a separate attacks than it is one.
That the Pact has to go is a crucial element of the proposal Shriketalon put forth to ANet last year.
I strongly urge everyone to read Shriketalon’s post on merging the personal and living story for excellent concepts of a possible future for GW2.
I also urge anyone reading his thread to read everything else he has written on the forums – tons of fantastic infographics and concepts. I’m actually seeing a lot of his concepts seeming to make their way into ANet’s narrative and groundwork for future stories and that gives me hope.

Don’t forget, the new pick is account bound as well. the older picks are not
2 months ago.
I want to bump this, because,
any chance of this going on sale again? .I really want that mistfire wolf XD but 30quid for it is a little much. ):
Really should start a new topic rather than bumping on that’s been dead for four months.
That being said, you missed it when it went on sale a few weeks ago.
That sale was only for copies purchased through the website, not through the gem store.
There were players asking why the gem store Digital Deluxe Upgrade was not also on sale.
- Offer applies only to Digital Heroic Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition purchased through buy.guildwars2.com
The in-game sale on the Digital Deluxe Upgrade had occurred prior to that website sale on the DDE.
Also, the website Digital Deluxe Edition is its own version of the game with its own serial code and not an upgrade to an existing account like the in-game Digital Deluxe Upgrade is. Buying the DDE from the website is an entirely new account/serial and the gem store DDU is an upgrade to an existing account.
I’m not sure if Taygus desires an additional copy of the game or not, but they likely are wanting the Upgrade version to be on sale and not the new account DDE version.
I also expect the in-game gem store DDU sale to return before the website sale does on the DDE.
Now, with that being said, Taygus, you may want to post in the the following thread to make your desire for the DDU to be placed on sale known to ArenaNet. They watch it.
(edited by StinVec.3621)
I mentioned this elsewhere, but, until it gets unstuck if it is bugged out again, you can “guest” to another server temporarily to try for a tutorial version on another server where it is not bugged. Others have had to use this method to get around the bugged tutorial boss in the past.
You can only choose two different worlds to guest to in a 24 hour period, so that means there is a limit of 2 chances to find a non-bugged version of the tutorial zone for the next 24 hours (hopefully it would be fixed by that time). :\
I hope this helps you out in the meantime.
One post above this is a red sticky post called “[Merged] Invasion Canceler Not Advancing”. There may be some information inside there that can help you.

I really like it, but not enough that it would be worth doing all the stuff needed to acquire a legendary. Haven’t seen one yet that is worth all of that.
If it actually turns out to be a Black Lion weapon skin, I’ll surely pick this up as well as several of the others in the set based on this one as I like its style.
Great idea, I’d love this too, as would my poor extra finishers I never remember to use.
Glad to hear you like the idea.
Also, this requested feature was already made over 3 months ago on April 14th by someone else and I even included a mock-up design in my reply there to help inspire ANet into making it a reality by having a visual of what it could be like.
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/Randomize-Finishers
It is such a logical feature to have that it should already have been an option to select when more than one are unlocked. It’s never too late to add options like this. Hopefully they will.
Perhaps the first selection area should be a configuration box that has a drop-down selection to choose:
- “Cycle from first to last”
- “Cycle from last to first”
- “Randomize”
It should also have a tickable box to exclude limited-use finisher items from being randomized.Included a mock-up.
edit
Updated image to include more options that may be desirable.
- Cycling Method: disabled
- Checkboxes on finishers
- Option to cycle only selected finishers
Perhaps the finisher screen could even be redesigned to be similar to the achievement tracker to where players can drag and drop the finishers to be included in the cycling, and also to customize the order of the finishers for when they are in first-to-last and last-to-first cycling. Can throw together a mock-up of that version as well if desired.

Hey, Slate. Also make sure that your game is set to ‘Run As Administrator’ in the game executable’s or game shortcut’s Properties > Compatibility tab.
That should solve the problem.
However, if it does not, then you may want to run a " -repair" on your installation to see if there is something causing a file to constantly become damaged and needing to be re-downloaded upon each launch of the game.
Check the game for errors and repair it
If this was in response to a support ticket and how the GM was helpful and resolved an issue, it may be best to include such praising comments for this specific GM via the ‘Rate Your Support’ email you should receive shortly after your ticket is closed. You can rate your support experience and update the comment section of the rating page to include such praise and thanks so their bosses become directly aware of how pleased you were with their assistance.
If this was, indeed, support related, I’m glad you had such a good experience. Account Issue Support at GW2 really is the best I’ve ever experienced by a game company. Some issues I’ve had did not have my desired outcome, but the support I received in my attempt to resolve the issues was excellent.
I agree. Their persistence following the fall of the Tower was a nice touch, but lasting through both the Escape From and Assault On Lion’s Arch was stretching their welcome. Having them persist beyond those events is illogical and should have been removed with the Epilogue update. However, since they were not, I expect they will likely get removed in the next content update as making everyone stop what they’re doing and download a new build just to remove them doesn’t seem courteous to all players in-game at the time, or efficient. Unfortunately the next update seems to be coming on April 15th. Unless they decide to throw some things together into a small update between now and then, it looks like we are stuck with them for several more weeks.

No clue what it is used for, sorry. Just supplying some more information on the item to help.
I’m not going to do the new Tequatl encounter. I don’t care what is on his loot table. I don’t do lasers, non-class specific gimmicks and abilities, duration timers, playing with 80+ people in a tiny area, etc.
I’m right there not doing it with you my friend.
I believe you are describing the word bubbles (if enabled) that appear above characters in the world when they type something. If so, then yes, these have never been appropriately censored along with chatbox text, sadly. It is something that really should not have been overlooked when designing the censor feature.
Due to the censor only affecting text displayed in the chatbox, perhaps they will correct this one day so that the text that is displayed in the word bubble is acquired from the chatbox after the censor has altered the text, instead of from the source being sent to the chatbox which does not receive the censoring.
As it is:
Source > Word Bubble (uncensored)
Source > Chatbox (censored due to chatbox settings)
As it should be:
Source > Chatbox (censored due to chatbox settings) > Word Bubble (censored)

Please let this be a lead-in to Krait being a playable race (metamorphose ala Little Mermaid to have legs as the workaround for armor viability). I’d accept Quaggan, stags, or even man-bear-pigs at this point as a new race. Just give us something, anything, please! I beg you!
(edited by StinVec.3621)
With the recent armor releases, I thought I would update.
Phalanx/Viper/Trickster Armor Sets
8 – # of individual pieces I would like to purchase from the sets
1,600 – # of Gems I’d spend @ 200 Gems per piece
2,000 – # of Gems I’d spend @ 250 Gems per piece
ZERO – # of Gems I will be spending on these armor sets as long as they remain as full set purchases only.
ArenaNet, I would once again like to stress to you the fact that people are more willing to make many smaller amount purchases over a single larger one, even if it ends up costing more in the long run. 99% of marketing is psychology. In an MMO, the majority of players have several characters, especially after over a year of playing a game with multiple classes and races. With the game’s appearance customization options regarding armor styles (mix-n-match), and the emphasis on this appearance customization as being one of the primary content elements of the game, refusing to offer armor sets to be purchased on a per-piece basis goes completely against logic, especially from a marketing standpoint for a company looking to maximize revenue.
I would like to say I would purchase as many individual pieces from these sets as I would from the set mentioned in my OP (and other sets released since then), but most pieces from these sets really are not all that good (in my opinion). Psychologically, this also deters people from making a single large purchase if they are forced to also purchase many items they have no interest in just to get the 1 or 2 that they do. And as mentioned above, with bank space and storage continuing to be such an issue (even with the recent increase to maximum bank tabs), continuing to force players to purchase items they do not want (as they will then be forced to throw them into storage or destroy them) also deters many potential sales. And if they do store these undesired items, every time they see them they will think of nothing but having wasted money on them just to have them sit in storage forever, and this will likely deter them from making future purchases of this nature.
Please see the logic in these statements and make this step toward fulfilling the desires of your players as well as increasing your revenue from more sales.

Also, what race did we lose?
We lost the moa race. The moas became broilers during Scarlets invasion.
Congratulations, you made me facepalm and groan. You got me good. I totally walked into that one.
No problem. I hope the repair helps since clearing the game cache didn’t.
The only other thing that I know of that might help to fix issues like this (if it is not anti-virus/firewall related) is to delete the local.dat settings file so it can be re-created. Not sure if it will solve the problem, but it’s worth a shot.
If you want to give that a try, deleting this file will also cause you to lose your saved game settings (graphics, stored login data, etc.). If you rely on your stored login info to log in, make sure you can recall what your login info is as the stored login info is also cleared.
The quickest way to do this is to:
Hmm…
I think I need to start paying more attention to the appearances of NPCs again, at least more than my current gawking at the awesome clothes that Sister Brenda and Lexi Price in Queensdale are wearing and wishing we could have them for our armors.
it sucks? really? ~ i thoroughly enjoy it. ~ i also beat the enemy quite quickly.
I agree. I really enjoy underwater combat and I often find that I kill aquatic enemies faster than land enemies.
Also, +1 to aquatic cities and explorable areas. I would love an entirely aquatic zone and more aquatic skills and gear designs ( <3 Largos! ) and maybe foot armor replaced with fins or some other aquatic alterations to armor.

I use the arrow keys to play most games and always have. I just cannot use the wasd keys to play any game. This is generally how I have my keyboard configured, though I have since moved my skills to the 12 buttons on the side of my Razer Naga mouse and use the keypad for other things.
I would rather be able to mix town and combat clothes but apparently we cannot do that.
https://help.guildwars2.com/entries/45944258-Town-Clothes
What’s happening to town clothes with the April 2104 Feature Build?
The separation between in-combat and out-of combat appearance is being replaced by a completely new armor skinning system known as Wardrobe. This conversion will affect the town clothes that you already own in one of three ways:
Town clothing sets such as the Pirate Captain’s Outfit or Mad King’s Outfit will become one-piece account unlocks known as outfits which can be toggled to be displayed on your character instead of armor, even during combat.
Most pieces sold separately, such as the Fuzzy Animal Hats or Phantom Hood, will become armor skins for the appropriate slot, usable by a character that wears armor of any type.
Some promotional town clothing, such as the Dragon Emblem T-shirt and retired town clothes such as the hoodies, will become endless tonics which allow you to continue to wear the clothing in non-combat situations.
Can I still mix and match my town clothes?
Clothing pieces that are converted to armor skins can be mixed and matched with the same restrictions as other armors. Outfits cannot be mixed as each of them now is stored on an account-wide basis as a single unlock. Items related to endless tonics cannot be mixed or dyed.
What’s happening to toys?
Toys obtained prior to the implementation of the Wardrobe system will first need to be exchanged at a Black Lion Armor Trader for a new toy before they can be used again. Costume Brawl equipment such as the Boxing Gloves or riding toys such as the Witch’s Enchanted Broom—all of which previously were equipped on the Town Clothes page—now will be used directly from inventory. If I don’t want a tonic, can I get a gem refund for the purchase?
Customer support will be able to fulfill gem refund requests only for town clothes that become endless tonics. Such requests must be made after the Town Clothes system changes take effect; refund requests cannot be processed prior to the April Feature Build. Customer Support is not able to fulfill requests for refunds other than those related to Town Clothes that become endless tonics. This means that town clothes that become skins are not eligible for a refund.
Yep. It has been reported before, as well as other Radiant+X graphical conflicts. A dev responded on the issue stating it was in their tracker to be looked at and corrected. Hopefully it will be fixed in one of these October patches.
