You know, at least you can try to make a logical threat.

Like, ESO is going f2p and Cyrodiil is in direct competition of GW2 WvW. In many ways, its superior. What ultimately killed it was population issues and very poor handling by Zenimax (such as letting vampires run rampant, sigh). With ESO going f2p, it might just take people away from GW2.

Your boredom is only a threat when they know you wont come back because there is nothing quite like WvW. Right now… you know you’ll be back.

From what I can tell, they’ve done nothing to even try to fix this issue.

The only way I see it happening is redistributing the population by reducing the number of tiers (ie shut down servers).

"No-grind philosophy"

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Dawdler.8521

With no grind, they mean no mandatory grind. There is no gear threadmill.
You don’t have to grind in order to keep up. All the grind in this game is just for cosmetics. Sure there is ascended, but that’s only like 5% better than exotic so you don’t really need it.

So is there grind for just cosmetics or cosmetics and stats?
5% is 5%, it’s there, it exists, you can’t deny it. You can choose to ignore it, convince yourself it’s not needed, attempt to convince others it’s not needed, but the fact of the matter remains, it’s a 5% increase in stats.

Yes, a useless 5% is a useless 5%. And I never denied it’s existance, I merely pointed out the fact you don’t need it. I know it is not needed as all content can easily be completed without it (except fractals, but that’s because of agony resistance, not the stats itself).

You can try convincing yourself that this 5% increase is a big deal, but I know it is not.

Where this 5% came from?
Just comparing this with this I can see at least a 9% increase in the overall dps. I may be wrong tho. Some even say that the difference can reach around 14-15%.

Which still doesnt matter, lol.

Gear progression in GW2 are easily nullified by a single dodge in the right place, a better build or a better player.

On top of this, getting different gear is nothing in GW2. You get endgame exotic gear from numerous sources without much hazzle.

Compare with say Archeage… How fun would it be if all endgame exotic had the cost of legendaries and if you wanted to grind/loot such a weapon, you’d have to kill 10,000 mobs in Orr for a certain percentage chance of finding 1 out of 10 badges that is the correct one for just your weapon. And when you get it, you can choose to upgrade but there is a 50% chance of the weapon breaking so you have to get another one. And dont forget to socket it! With 10% success chance and chance of critically failing, breaking the weapon of course. Right about when you’re done with that… its obsolete and someone with a 2x dps weapon and gear you barely scratch come and kill you. He also popped pots doubling his armor and getting 30% HP back every 9 second.

Yeah… The grind in GW2 is nothing.

What was this event?

I know a long, long time ago Anet managed to bug EB so that no stationary siege could be built, only golems. Best time we’ve ever had in WvW, alot of people loved it.

Sadly, they where quick to fix it and never recognized what it caused. Their response to everyones cry on how awesome fights it created was to buff arrowcarts by 100%. And then add masteries to buff them another 100% on top of that. Can you imagine that arrowcarts where once considered weak, sigh…

So if they created something that people liked, expect to never see it again. Its the curse of WvW.

Well they could easily price it at $20, sell it only ingame and via the webpage and probably get tons more direct profits than if it goes out to retail stores at $40 or something and distributors/publishers/manufacturers/everyone want their little share of the cost.

Is GW2 going to get trashed like CoH?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Dawdler.8521

CoH was running what, 8 years or something? Compared with GW2, which is just beginning at 2.5 years. Its also 99% likely that there is a Guild Wars 3 in production as we speak, although I dont expect any announcement on that for another year or so. IE GW3 is highly likely to release before GW2 is as old as CoH was.

Lets not forget that GW2 is also fairly unique and draws a crowd, while CoH was a generic “hero game” that easily got trumphed by DCUO. Its all about the lore

Thieves have been the kings of 1v1 and small groups ever since the launch of the game, so not sure what to except here -.-

During this weekend I joined WvW for the first time in… oh 6 months or so… and you know what the first thing I see is? Thief gank squad of course. 3 Thieves by Golanta that that pretty much show up for 1-2s, bring a player to very low HP or kill him, then vanish again, only to pop up some 5ish seconds later for 1 second and vanish again. 10-15 friendlies running around just trying to catch them (and not die when they do a burst). Of course they where very skilled and knew exactly what they where doing (tbh I didnt expect anything less at this age of the game). Nothing has changed, lol.

Point is here, if he is a Thief and he is a better player than you… You’re going to bloody die. The damage doesnt even matter. That’s only half of what makes Thieves strong. Skilled Mesmer going up against an average Thief? Sure he can kill it. Two skilled ones dueling can be really intense – the Mesmer is still an excellent 1v1 class. But it really doesnt change the fact that if the Thief knows what he’s doing, you’re almost dead before you even see him. The best match for either side is of course meeting a build that cant handle your build – tanky condition Mesmer vs zerker Thief with no condition removal, zerker Mesmer with condition removal versus condi Thief, etc etc. In either scenario the Mesmer will still be hampered by ramp up time while the Thief always has the initiative.

I have the exact opposite view point. I took a few months off to player other game/mmos and it made me realize how good this game could be but is mostly not living up to it’s potential.

What potential? The game is well populated, extremely playable and pretty much free of any major issues. If you want something that’s not living up to its potential, look at games like ESO – even with it going f2p I have doubts that Cyrodiil will ever be fun, simply because of the absolutely mindboggling design choice of not ramping up playability from 1 player and up. You needed a 15+ raid just to get the game going (seriously, capping a tiny little camp in ESO was like taking an T3 Garrison. Alone. And you where a Ranger. With a kittened pet that couldnt tell the difference between its tail and an enemy).

GW2 aint perfect and I wish Anet would have focused far, far more on WvW… but it works. Its still fun.

Bring Back Holy Trinity

This has never been a problem with the holy trinity. Its a problem with the poor AI and mob design that cannot handle being pushed into a corner and pummeled.

Anet has done quite a bit of changes in mob fighting design over the years and made them considerably harder in more recent dungeons.

Oh you mean the ability lag that’s existed for over 2 years now? Yeah. Its always been there. I’ve barely played since almost a year ago now and judging by this thread its obvious that the issue remains, lol. Sometimes it was perfectly fine. Other times it was 150 people fighting in the center of Stonemist for 30 minutes and no one die because no one can pop any skills, haha. Borderlands never had the same problems, even if all three servers where clashing in garrison.

Pistol mainhand wouldn’t really fit anyway

So, you think that a traditionally melee only weapon that shoot frikkin laser beams at range only – fit the Mesmer better than a traditionally ranged/CQB that the Mesmer can already use in off hand?

Yeah. No. A pistol mainhand fits perfectly.

But not that I care. If they made it a pistol, they’d probably kitten it up and nerf it to uselessness, just like the scepter. The Mesmer is not allowed to be a logical class choice, it never has been.

Hang Gliders!?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: Dawdler.8521

Dawdler.8521

Games SHOULD borrow from eachother. I’m glad they do.

Aye.

Too bad they borrowed the wrong thing.

The gliders in Archeage is fun but the map design in Archeage is completely different. Its huge, wide open with no invisible walls. You can literally go anywhere up a mounting and you need a glider to do so. This is also why there is mounts. In GW2, its going to be pretty darn pointless.

What they should have borrowed is physics engine and naval combat. That would have improved the potential gameplay value of GW2 100 times over. Well, assuming the new borderland is 20x larger than your average GW2 map and had oceans. Which I’m guessing it dont.

The GvG situation

Dawdler.8521

I have little doubt that “stronghold” will basicly just cut out WvW style keeps and dump say 15vs15 or 20vs20 people on the map. Its a bit larger scale than sPvP, but still just sPvP.

While it may be a great new gameplay mode that is considerably more interesting than the normal conquest style arena, in no way will it be even close to GvG.

Explain what changes to Borderlands needed

in WvW

Posted by: Dawdler.8521

Dawdler.8521

Well there’s going to be a million (or two) explanations so asking that question never works.

Anyway, for me its always been quite simple since pretty much the launch of the game: Scale rewards according to activity and how much population there is in that specific area. Keeps defended by NO ONE should not give max ppt.

Basicly, there should be a frontline where the ppt matter alot. When 50vs50 fight for even the smallest of keeps, that is considered “high value” and a ppt tick for such a keep would be significant – both for defenders if they defend it and attackers if they take it.

Keeps that are not contested should be in dormant, low ppt mode. Having them is still a point advantage, but not equal to the keeps that are actively fought over.

The main point of this is to try and balance out high and low activity, unlike now when its all equal everywhere. During nights, if for example all borders are totally empty but EB is full and active… EB would matter 10x more for ppt income.

TBH I have wondered why Anet hasnt “solved” this the simple and dirty way – zone scaling. When there is a low amount of people on a border and room on the other borders… Shut it down. Completely. No ppt from that border whatsoever, you cant even join it. Its greyed out until the border “above it” reach 80%+ population. It would of course start with EB and then trickle down.

It would accomplish a similar thing as reward scaling, but is much simpler to do in the engine. The most “complicated” change would be to move some of the border specific merchants to EB, because the borders may not always be active.

But whatevs, we’re stuck with it. Here’s hoping to Anet having great plans for Guild Wars 3.

Actual gameplay mode/karma training aside, I’m more concerned with the fact its a new WvW map.

We all remember what EoTM did. It devastated regular WvW maps. Sure EB could still be populated, but borderlands was almost killed. Now there will be another map which once again will thin out WvW population.

That’s why so many of us requested the borderlands and EB to be updated and brought to a new level instead of making new things. EoTM is an awesome map in terms of design, leaps and bounds above the “old” borderlands, I am sure that this new border will be just as great in design… which is only going to make it worse and ultimately bad for the entire WvW mode

1) It’s probably not a traditional expansion, because that’s not “a new framework for how an MMO can grow its universe”.

Haha, want to bet that this “new framework for how it can grow” is the same thing that well established f2p MMOs have handled “expansions” since forever and what Anet is sort of already doing with living story?

Its probably just going to be a bigger expansion purchaseable through the cash shop. Which is what everyone has been expecting since the launch of GW2.

But hey look at the bright side – it does shine some light on GW2 again. I havent played the game since about 1 year ago and I’m thinking about coming back out of pure excitement that they might actually do something to WvW in this “expansion”. I have little doubt I will be disappointed but kitten let me dream for a while again.

1) Housing is a flash in the pan – people go mad over it for a while and then it starts to die off eventually.

True enough, but it does make the world come alive. Make it more dynamic, visually.

I have been playing Archeage since it came out and have no plans to return to GW2. Why? Because you cant “save” it. Its still an excellent game made by excellent developers, no denying that. I enjoyed it immensly and put down alot of time and money in it. But I’m not really seeing how open world PvP and housing would ever make it in game. The engine in GW2 is pretty much obsolete now. I wont even start comparing the 80 man raids, full collision detection, single instance world where you dont even notice zone loading and amazing naval combat in Archeage, I’ll simply sum it up as below:

Anet need to make GW3. GW2 is done. Now make a new GW on a 100x larger scale in a modern open world MMO. And it wouldnt hurt to bring in Guild Halls, no. Oh and let me bring over my achievements and 2 legendaries, lol.

WvW Guild Raids

in WvW

Posted by: Dawdler.8521

Dawdler.8521

A public map with limited slots is not the place to conduct guild only raids, it hurts everyone else on the map. If a guild wants ‘guild only’ events, they should do it elsewhere.

Your version of WvW sounds great. No guilds in WvW, period. Think you can raid with 30 organized people in green border? Think again! 20 of your peeps just got kicked out to make way for 20 random people that dont have a guild. Are you working for Anet? You sound awfully much like the dev that considered guilds to be “ruining his gameplay mode”.

Lets just get this out of the way… Guilds are the heart of WvW. Without guilds, GW2 would have been an obscure game played by few. Anet think its the sPvP and PvE that’s made GW2 so popular. It isnt. PvE is pointless and boring, sPvP is even more pointless and boring. Take away guild based WvW from GW2 and it would be one of the most pathetic games ever. A gigantic karma train which result in… nothing. Absolutely nothing.

But hey, many of them do fight for the server. The reason for fighting “alone” is rarely because they want to ignore everything. Its because they want to accomplish something as a group.

You know a raid isnt a guild raid if its a pug raid. That’s generally why guild raids dont work together with others.

And if people cant stand alone and fight for their guild… they probably have no reason to play the game anymore. Fighting for your server may sound nice and all, but I’m guessing most peeps are in it for the glory, not the server. There’s a reason why guilds jump all over the place.

in WvW

Posted by: Dawdler.8521

Dawdler.8521

I do not see how that “solution” is going to work. NA and EU cannot play together unless you want to completely mess up network lag for everyone.

No, there is only one real solution to the 24/7 battle scenario and that is to shift points more towards the PvP and less to the PvD. Passivly generating the same points from a keep that no one is near for 4 hours compared to a keep where all 3 servers have 50+ peeps fighting a pitched battle for 1 hour is not viable.

Is Guild Wars 2 dying?

in WvW

Posted by: Dawdler.8521

Dawdler.8521

Seeing many familiar GW2 guilds in AA…

Anyway, I think that GW2 WvW will be somewhat popular still. Its easy to join an hour or two, find constant conflict (ie EB) and get some fun out of it. Dont know if everyone share this opinion, but I think the problem for many veterans is that it gets old very fast. Its small, confined and we’ve literally seen every millimeter of it. We’ve taken the same keeps a million times over.

WvW has lost its charm. Yes, Anet did change it a bit (like the center part) but the core gameplay and visuals is exactly the same as on launch. EoTM just made everyone sad. Its completely separate from WvW. They could remove WvW and only have EoTM (or vice versa) – we wouldnt even be able to tell something is missing. Looking back and realizing that they could have used all that effort on EoTM, which is still an awesome piece of visual extravaganca, in recreating the WvW maps, renewing and reviving them… It just crushes you. Instead, they just toss us the scraps, like WvW commander colors. And it was pretty kitten close we had to cough up 300g per scrap that it probably took them days to implement.

But it doesnt really matter if GW2 is dying. The only cure is GW3. Even if Anet can somehow refresh WvW… its still going to be dying. We need bigger, better maps with more players. A more refined gameplay mode with supply and strategy, not to mention less unbalancing scoring method. More dynamic keeps that involve the player not only in upgrades, but also in its construction. Far more ties to actual guilds on the map, claiming land and keeps. I know Anet is capable of doing it in a new game with new tech… they’re just not capable of changing GW2.

I think this basically only got put in because people complained that it was imbalanced, but I don’t think there’s a rationale for why it is imbalanced.

Lol what? Of course there is a rationale for why. Enough warriors could raise the commander indefinetly. Yes, on high tier servers that happened. I have fought battles for 3+ hours in garrison, killing the commander hundreds of times. Have you tried doing that to a player? Oh right, you cant. Because after 5 or so deaths, you instantly die instead of getting downed.

NPC Commanders should have suffered the same rules as players. They can only be ressed a limited number of times. It would have keept the strategy up to a point and given clever people enough time to make guilds reach a keep for defense, but avoided the insane unbalance of infinite revivals.

Instead, Anet choose to remove the imbalance with an icepick to the brain. Cute.

However I’m quite interested in iDefender, does completely negate 50% of damage by drawing your damage and become immune to it?

No, the iDefender loose full HP instead.

Problem is, its AoE based. Very short AoE at that. So basicly, you never get the damage reduction unless you’re standing next to it.

Good luck doing that in anything above solo duels. Its good in PvE (mainly during boss stacking, since its AoE it apply the 50% reduction to your group as well) but that’s about it.

Solo play sure, useless for anything above that. 10-15 man, forget about it. The amount of AoE thrown around make it impossible to use phantasms, not to mention any sort of group combat require you to constantly move with the group. You cant take time to set up your phantasms. The only one that work decently is the GS berserker but its pointless to focus your build on it.

The high numbers are generally only achieved against PvE bosses (iWarlock smacking them for 15-20K damage but that’s impossible against a player)

Guild Wars 3: FF

My ideal GW3:

Graphics of ArcheAge Online.
Openworld PVP, meaning I can kill anyone I want in the open world (or get killed).
Character customization: More free, and indepth changes possible (refering to ArchAge Online for an example).
Offering Guild wars to be rewarding.
Open world PVP, fight over world bosses that spawn.

It sounds like you’ve already found such a game.

Any game with forced open-world PvP is a game I’ll be staying a million miles away from and I’d imagine many PvErs would do the same.

But that’s the beauty of Archeage zones. Its both open-world PvP and PvE only at the same time. Zones shift from war to peace at higher levels, lower levels are safe-zones. Open water is of course free-for-all war with the pirates faction thrown in. There’s also a third continent (in addition to the west and east) that’s basicly WvW.

To imagine an AA system in GW2 (or GW3 in this case, heh), WvW is part of the PvE world. Its regular PvE zones on the PvE map, no different from Orr or Lions Arch. You got your “EB” zone and the borderlands surrounding it. Every week, these zones go into 5 days of war, ie regular WvW. After that, there’s 2 days of peace where the factions cant attack each other and do the PvE objectives in the zones (which of course would be far more complex than current WvW zones). Then its server reset and the zones are thrown into war again. Of course, the borderlands could always be in a state of “unrest” (ie regular WvW) while EB is the only zone that goes to a peacefull state for a short time.

This whole WvW being a seperate instance and dislocated from the world (its in the “mists”) is really not needed. One of the most impressive things in Archeage is that its just one, massivly epic, world. There are no loading portals. Seriously, you go from one zone that’s 5x bigger than a GW2 zone to another zone that’s 5x bigger than a GW2 zone and… you wont even notice it. You just ride down the road.

I hope GW3 can do this do too. Going back to GW2 from Archeage is like going from a cathedral to a cardboard box. Of course there are other things GW3 could “borrow” (building houses, boats, aircrafts and most importantly physics. Water in AA is amazing) but just creating that kind of open world in GW3 with the GW2 combat system and designs… Yes, I’d throw my money at Anet.

No you dont.

Dont get me wrong, I am strongly against this idea (think the cost should remain at 100g, everything else refunded and color options added) but you’re not loosing anything. You’ve already paid 300g and you did it knowingly. Anet’s reasoning is that you’re not getting it on sale, you got it full price.

Its the same thing if you bought a PS4 for $600 6 months ago and today you go into the store and see it for $500, after which you yell out that the store ripped you off and took your $100. Nope, doesnt work like that.

They have already stated they are refunding everything above 3 tags… Apparently in a big way if I understood it correctly. If you got 4 tags, you dont get a 100g refund – you get 300g! Free option of color they said. Presumably if you got 7 tags, you get another free color. Can anybody confirm that part? I’m guessing that if you dont choose a color but want gold, you only get their 100g worth. I may have completely misunderstood it though.

300g for an account-wide commander tag is reasonable

The thing with that comment is that it assumes 100g for soulbound was reasonable to begin with.

Was it really?

I dont think so. The tag should have split cost between badges and gold, just like WvW gear does.

For example, a reasonable cost in PvE would indeed be 300g, but a reasonable cost in WvW would be say 200g + 2000 badges.

I’m ok with it. There might be some great commanders that don’t have the cash for the tag but i see it as the majority of serious world vs world guilds & World Boss guilds will pitch in money to get their 3-5 best people colored tags to lead during WvW/WBoss

And you know what’s going to be the best part with that? Many of us will think less of them just because of their color. I mean, PvE commanders has always been in a bad spot (omg tag is for WvW, PvE commander noob!) and now that will spill over to WvW as well. It doesnt matter if “serious” guilds help their commander.

You’re thinking far too small…

WvW entry scraps that are randomly dropped from Black Lion chests (you need 10 to make a ticket). Without a ticket, you cant join WvW*. One ticket is consumed upon entering a border. Note that when you move between borders, it also consumes a ticket. Drop rate for scraps about 10%.

*EoTM is free to join of course, its not like that map took any time to develop compared to 2 years to make 4 colored tags.

No, the proper question is why arent PvE dungeon runners charged 300g to use the LFG tool?

That was a new feature that required considerably programming and implementation from Anets side, including constant server upkeep (have to keep track of all LFGs).

Yet the simplest of changes to an already existing tool in WvW is going to get taxed with an additional 200g over the already existing 100g?

I wonder if they will ever be able to do anything at all that will not lead to people complaining like mad.

Easy.

- make it accountbound
—- refund all tags above 1
—- remove the compendium (refund not used ones) and make it a purchase by talking to the NPC instead. When already purchased for your account, he will of course state that. This is to avoid issues with purchasing multiple items that are per account. Not to mention the compendium is so redundant as an item.
- option to change between colors

And thats what they could have done to enable colors and accountbound. No price increase. No refund issues. Of course I’d still complain that we want icon change, name tagging and private switch… but I would be happy with the changes regardless.

What matter is that its a tool, not a cosmetic enhancement. Anet doesnt charge anything for PvE tools and has implemented complex new ones at no charge to PvE players.

And then they do this.

It feels like anet wants ppl flaming after all they do who is making the decisions???

Maybe they just want a reason to finally close the WvW forums? That way no one will bother complaining anymore.

And for those questioning their cheezy intent…

Anet didnt charge anything for the PvE lfg tool. Why? Why didnt they charge 500g for the lfg tool (100g extra for each dungeon available)? Its the same kind of organizational tool. Anet is kittening over WvW.

I’d be willing to pay:

  • 100 gold per color, or
  • 300 gold to be able to put in my own hex code once,
  • 600 gold for the ability to switch to any color on the fly.

The first option would still not be acceptable. Higher cost for more features? Ok, I’ll give them that. 300g is very expensive, but “ok” is fine if we get account bound, color change, name tagging, icon change and private option in the end. I still wont like the insane cost, but I’d accept it.

The key to commander organisation is that the functionality is the same across all users.

With separate options (ie pay gold for a color), the situation is pretty much this:

Experienced Blue commander: “Hey you, go red and take 10 peeps to cap that camp and come in from behind on the enemy!”
Novice Blue commander: “But I cant afford red, I only have blue

And down the kittenter goes any organisation.

Again, how can Anet even think this is a good idea? Either GW2 really is dying (ie they’re out of money and trying to turn every stone for more) or its just a joke. A sick, twisted joke.

Who are the poorest players in the game? WvW Commanders!

Who will benefit most from the new color commander tags? WvW Commanders!

Lets make them spend 300g for each additional color they want. Makes sense. Let’s make the poorest people even poorer.

Yes, it make sense. Poorest players will cave in, buy gems and convert to gold. Otherwise they have no chance to get the tag.

If this is true its the cheapest, cheeziest backhanded money grabbing kittenslap in the face I have ever seen. 300g per tag color? Seriously? Its some sort of sick perverted joke of the many ideas and suggestions we’ve been posting on the forums for 2 years.

Tbh, I’ve rather not have colors than this type of implementation.

Kitten?

Anets are completely anal about saying kitten and kitten on the forum so it ends up being kitten, which btw is kittened up who the kitten even says kitten? Its a kittening kittened insult to kittens everywhere.

Guild Emblem as Commander Icon

Said it before, as-is I do not believe the tag has the resolution to support guild icons.
I am much in favor of the custom tag name instead, so you can write “LOL Guild Raid” next to the tag, or whatever you want.

Heres my take on colored tags, its almost pointless. Why ? Pugs will follow a tag regardless of color, this is why so many drivers don’t tag up. Whats to stop a pug from following a green, yellow, red, orange, purple, whatever color tag because its not blue ? You ask nicely now if they could let you do your guild run and they still follow so all of a sudden color is suppose to be magical and stop this ? Sure it will help with coordination but those Commanders that avoided tagging up so they could do guild runs will still avoid tagging up so they don’t get the ranger uplevel army following them.

Not good enough, private guild/group tags and public tags are what is needed.

I also think private tags are more important, however colored tags would be of help to server organisation as a whole. Pointless it is not. That’s why we’ve asked for that and a change in the icon, so you can distinguish commanders. A server could easily say that if you run a havoc group <10 run a red tag period. They’re sitting in the red command section of TS. That way everyone that comes knows red means small command force. And when you run to a red commander that already has about 10 people? Well start a new red command if you want. I have no doubts that servers will “reserve” a color for guilds as well.

Self moderation is what its all about. Colored tags is still doing it less than half-decent and I hope the patch at the very least make the tag account bound, if not bringing private tag option.

Nothing big, just few cosmetic changes so far

Lol I hope that’s not all they planned on doing, because that would be stupid. The changing of color is low priority for commander changes. Sure it improves the command structure, but I still consider account bound tag and private (guild only) switch far more important.

But it would be typical Anet to just gives us colors and leave it kitten. That’s their “come on guys, we have to wait 2 years to get it perfect before we can release it!” way.

the long lost 8 man

What game besides DAoC had 8man?

Guild Wars 2.

What, we do have 8 man groups. Its just that Anet, in all their wisdom, has decided to only enable it in sPvP.

After all, WvW is only about small scale and not 5+ people battles. Wouldnt want to ruin Anets gamemode. If they actually where to enable it, its just a matter of removing the invite/join limitation. They dont need to do anything with boons. Guilds have already been running 4 man groups instead of 5, 8 man groups would just be 4+4 with 2 buffers and guaranteed buffs.

That just means everyone will now have unicorn rainbow effects on their weapons.

Warrior greatsword will actually shoot 100 unicorns when you do 100 blades.

So I was key farming...

Is this something seen the last week or so? Just curious. I noticed in WvW the other day that an enemy camp was fighting… itself. Seriously, guards where attacking scouts and the supervisor was trying to kill the guards.

Dont think I’ve seen that before. Maybe Anet has borked the AI, lol.
