This is why I have a character of each race, then I also got all 3 orders (2 of them twice) and other places where the story changes depending on some choice you make.

5 that I play, 1 of each race (don’t see the point in more than that) and 5 “mules” I intended to play more toons, but then didn’t, so have 5 with the bags filled to rim with stuff I collected. 1 placeholder char holding a name in case tengu becomes playable. And 1 empty slot.

The HoM has the items that is a thank you for playing GW1 and supporting over a long time. We don’t need more stuff exclusive to us.
I would like GW1 skins return to GW2, definitely, but I think they should be avaiable through GW2 itself and not GW1 and should possible for ALL to get them.

And it is not all skins that need to return… not all of them were that great really.

aurora = short for aurora borealis, which is also known as the northern (or southern?) lights and has nothing to do with auras.

Aura, a color or light around people, which some people believe in, and is conveniently invisible to the majority of people. Aura being a supernatural kinda thing is used in many ways and forms, including the legendary weapon aura in this game. Non of the concepts of aura has anything to do with the aurora.

Ok so Forgal is not quite as loveable as the other 2 but some might love him and he does have some greatness too.
To me Sieran is best, absolutely loved her. The Tybalt hype that was and is everywhere killed my liking for him even before I got to play through Whispers story.

And they better as hell bring all 3 back or non at all.

You just mentioned the worst GW1 skins (both armor and weapons) imo. But sure I want some GW1 skins in GW2, would love female elite druid armor back, maybe with an even more planty twitch, would be just what I am so desperately wanting for my sylvari. Better yet make something akin to that as new sylvari cultural (to get the same thing with light/glow stuff as the other culturals, not to mention the growing from the body)

I don’t see the point in going back to UW and FoW. For one as mentioned the gods are gone, I know there are portals and creatures that used to be only in UW, but still gives me no reason to think we get back there. Gotta be careful it doesn’t gets too human centric afterall…. Maybe if they added new racial specific personal story for all races, it could dig down in the human history and something more about the gods could be included. Actually I like that idea… more racial history for all. As long as everyone gets something, it doesn’t matter that those are different things depending on your race. If it was set after original personal story (which I think might be best) it might even motivate me to complete the last bits of it on my last toons.

Ok got sidetracked. Guild Halls surely will make a come back eventually, and I will never lose hope, that Cantha will be back… I really really wanna go there… A LOT. I want to swim in the Jade Sea (I am on the “the jade has melted” theory), walk through a greener, but still dark Echowald Forest (if the effects of the Jade Wind was declining on the sea, it would so too in the forest), I want to get well and truly lost in a Kaineng City, even bigger and more complex than it was over 250 years ago (even if we will have to fight a xenophobig emperor to get there), I want to see the isles again and explore all the areas around those mentioned areas, that we never got to see before.

I also want to go to Elona, it is time that the mistake of freeing Palawa Joko got fixed, and who knows, there may still be some living and more or less friendly centaurs about, and there is sand… lots and lots of sand. It would be another undead enemies centered storyline, but it is a different kind… more mummies less zombies. Who knows what could still be alive.

Then there is Far Shiverpeaks, Crystal Desert, Maguuma wastes, and a ton of areas we have never even known about, but just been blotchy stuff on the maps.

Tybalt is not in Priory, he is from Order of Whispers. Sieran is Priory.

Really I hate that only Tybalt gets love all the time. Don’t get me wrong Tybalt is fine, but I really love Sieran and Forgal too… especially Sieran.

I crash very rarely, even though I lag. I don’t have a top notch PC, infact I am using a laptop.

There got to be a problem somewhere, but if it is really from Anet, why does it only affect some? If it is not the PC of the individual, what is it?

First off, blocking another player if said player is harashing you or is just being a troll, is best option to deal with it. If it is truly bad, report too.
And no matter what others say harrashment through online games (or any other online comunity) is no better than rl bullies, and bullies are horrible people.

I have not seen emotes used in any abusive way, but I am sure some would think of it, although anyone can turn off emote text from the chat box, it is an inconvenience, if emotes are a large part of the gameplay (I don’t roleplay, but I imagine that emotes take a part in it).

It only makes sense to have emotes invisible from blocked players as well as whisper and chat.

It never made sense to me personally that emotes was the entire map and not just in the /s range, but I think the better solution is to improve on the block.

Eh I am not in on the option to be evil bad guy. But adding some grey to the goody good all the time.

Well the main reason I see this being a saddening situation is that had you waited a few days you could have gotten the discount.

But all in all… well promotion discounts happen, happened a few times before and will happen again. No regrets on my part.

Maybe since it is such short time it is about you can get a deal, can at least try. Otherwise… just enjoy the game, even without the discount it is good value for the money. In my opinion anyway.

Why wait till 4/4/14, quit now, save time and go somewhere you will enjoy right away, and not ruin this game for everyone else.

8 years where I have played GW and GW2, given my support, bought all campaigns + EotN and every costume in GW, willingly used gemstore for various fun items, got all the books, and the charr plushie, I love this game and am a huge fangirl, and never ever got a Christmas Card… ever.

Not complaining, just saying I would really, really, really, really, really, really, really love a card.

Kryta is not the last human stronghold, for all we know Cantha is a human stronghold too, possibly even bigger, though here they are being xenophobic and got rid of all other races.
I have not seen any Nightmare Courtiers in the Grove, not sure where you got this from. What I have seen is that Inquest is largely tolerated by the asura and have a regruitment section in Rata Sum. Though not welcome you cannot deny there is bandits and seperatists even inside Divinity Reach. There is also a place within Hoelbrak that has a group of Sons of Svanir, you see norn judge each and every individual on their actions, not what they worship or believe in or which group they happen to be in.

Aside from the Nightmare Courtiers sylvari may infact be the most peaceful and helpful of the races, gentle creatures, they even largely forgave and am at peace with the asura despite the asura torturing one of their firstborn.

Honestly I think it is supposed to be a lily and that there is no such deeper meaning to it at all, especially as it doesn’t seem to fit into the lore.

I am on the, there is no winning in this game. Maybe especially seeing it is so individual what people aim for.
I do think they should add armor to the game thats not through gemstore, and I don’t particularly like that you can buy your legendary (legendary should not be tradeable imo). But that said I don’t consider it winning and thus not pay to win.

IF it was so that you could not access vital parts of the story or traitlines without paying… that would P2W for me, but that is, thank goodness, not what we are dealing with. Using money is completely optional.

No there is no option to change race. Nor should there be in my opinion.

I too would like to see more to the dragons, but I don’t want to see it in LS. They should make an expansion/campaign for that.

I actually don’t feel I have to forget all about GW1 to enjoy GW2. I for one can see the connection in lore. The playstyle is entirely and completely different, but though the specifics are not in here the general lore is there. It is the same world, it just had 250 years to change.

I tried it, in BETA even. It is the best cry emote of all the races.

To your suggestions:

I actually don’t mind the pose of the charr, I even like the fourlegged run. But there was upright charr in GW1 (casters as you mention) and non of the npc charr run on all fours. So there is some inconsistensies.

More body types with more raggedy fur would be great

Now although it would be really cool with horn/spikes from shoulders or some such I don’t see it happening as I see lots of issues in regards to armor with this.

Again other fur types is welcome.

More options for horns are also welcome.

War paint… hmm don’t think so.

Now what I would like to suggest:

More customisation is always welcome and I will make a note for more fur patterns. Currently we have tiger, leopard (of a couple different kinds), some sorta housecatish look, color point and I think cheetah is in there too.
Could add serval and clouded leopard, just mention some.

More cultural armor (this goes for all races, add a tier or 2 to them) would especially want something that lets you show off the fur pattern.

I disagree that T3 medium should be altered because a few people dislike it (thinks it is offensive).

I like him and don’t really get the hate. I mean I can see why some might dislike him a little, but hate? Nope, don’t get it.
I also liked Kormir though, not like the players could become a god afterall. That would be stupid.

Why is this up again? There is nothing wrong with that armor set and asking for a change because of personal ideals of a single person is not an option. (Yes they are just your personal feelings, not the be all end all truth)

Ask for more armor, not changes to those already there.

Never remove or change already existing armors, least of all because of one person not liking it.
Add new armor, even reskins (just not of cultural), giving more options for everyone is a much better way to go about things.

I am with you on most med armor being trenchcoats is horrible and I really hate that too. But you are asking for the wrong thing. Ask for more diversity in new armor, not changes in armors that already are.

It is not in Whispers story line. It can be attained by all, by the choice taken when the Pale Tree asks for your greatest fear.
It may be part of your story regardless of race and order previously chosen.

Asura may look to the ears for attractiveness as already mentioned. I also heard another matter of attractiveness is the forehead. Maybe because it indicates a big brain… dunno.

Maybe it is something with shared spawnpoint? I dunno.

And everything can fail. Ofc. if you are on the champtrain no way it is ever going to fail. But as mentioned above. Not doing it (have seen it ignored by a majority of people) or if you a noobish person trying to solo it. It is soloable, but not for all.

Do NOT change the armor. Many people like it the way it is, and changeing it now would be an outrage.
Adding new armor (not touching the already existing ones) is however a very good idea. Desperately need more armor that is not trenchcoats for ALL med users (not just human)

Even as a Scandinavian myself, I would not want to be on such a server. I love meeting loads of other people too.

I did check on the title and there is nothing.

Now it have happened to me a few times.
I want to play a dungeon or some such and I have a party of 2 or 3. Lets say 2 in this case. Then I see someone looking for 2 more to their group doing same instance. I think great, lets join together.

Then one party has to split, often so the smaller one. But whats this… they add someone else before adding my former team mate or myself.

So my point is that it is annoying, inconvenient and sadly been a pain that you can only invite 1 person or join as 1 person.

So how about an option to merge parties. It surely already register the size of each party, so making an option to merge as long as the combined parties does not exceed the limit of what is currently just 5.

It does not make anymore sense I know that.
But the cultural weapons are not that nice anyway.

I would first and foremost like to see tengu then perhaps largos. Beyond that Anet will need to think outside the box. Or just stop there, not like we really need more races as such.

I dislike this idea. The visuals is the only thing that distinguish one race from the other, and cultural armor is a large part of this… at least to me.

I understand the desire to see a change in PvP and WvW titles
But I find that PvE titles are fine

Although I completely understand why you would ask this, I am sorry to say I am with the others here.

If done for you it should definitely be done for others and equally small language groups, not to mention bigger language groups which don’t have it either. I have long since accepted that Danish is not viable outside of Denmark and wont be used in international games…. unless it is made for little children. I have a friend that might have tried gaming too if this was not the case, but alas it is.

No they aren’t. You have to unequip them and talk to a Black Lion Specialist to make them account bound.

SAB should have stayed as Aprils Fools only and I never wanna see Commando ever again. It belongs in a modern warfare game, not in GW.

What matters is that it will be an expansion/campaign and not living story when it comes to this.

Ehhhh you know the gathering tools have been made accountbound right. Thats why they cost 1000gems now and not the original 800gems
So with newly bought tools for gathering this wont be an issue. (Older tools bought at the 800gems are still soulbound)

Townsclothes are accountbound too, so they can be used by all your toons, via bank, so other than not being able to use it on multiple toons at the same time not much change.

That leaves armor and weapon skins from the gemstore. I can’t imagine a lot of people buying multiple of those.

I don’t see further change happen to the tools, afterall you can just move the tools around.
Costumes maybe, maybe not. Not like it changes much.
Armor Weapons, now here I too would love to see them be duplicateable, or somesuch. Do I see it happen? Not really, but I am not against it.

Engineer is bad enough, fine with the joke, but never wanna see it as an actual addition to the game.
