Well, thats sort of the problem. I’ve completed it once (after 1 failed attempt), and have no reason to go back after obtaining my new backpiece. If the chests gave better chances at the weapon skins or similar rewards, I would do it again.

Or just make Rampage as One really a Rampage as One thing. Like, make it so you and your pet just merges into a single entity and you gain stat bonus depending on which pet you just absorbed.

I love the Twisted Nightmares. The tiny details on them are amazing and their attack animations are quite fun to watch. I also love the “clinkity-clink” sound their gears and cogs make.

With my crappy computer, it took me awhile to actually see what they looked like and what all the pew pew was they were shooting. It was great once they loaded up.

I’m not sure where you got the “thousands” numbers as I can assure you, the achievement is doable. I personally have it and I continuously see chat of people stating they just finished it.

All of those “technical restrictions” listed by Josh Davis are all things having to do with the player. Even the random DCing isn’t a problem if you had participated in any of the events in the map (you just have to sit around in the map until the event is done). Did you seriously expect achievement credit when all you do throughout the event is farm Aetherblade/Molten Champions? The first step to healing is admitting guilt.

Edit: I’ve also received Credit when akitteng. I got on, killed a few twisted invaders and then ported to a safe location. Came back to see the Scarlet loot and my counter advanced by 1. Of course I’ve only done this a couple times but it works.

I’m pretty upset by this too as well as I can’t get into the Crown Pavilion to complete the gauntlet until i do this stupid living story. It’s very annoying not being able to complete not one but two LS events because of a design scheme flaw even a 5 year old could spot (I know one told me “why don’t they just make it happen everywhere?”) >.> Now I can’t get my Liadri mini because I can’t get into the pavilion nor can I get anything done for the clockwork chaos event. I fully expect the Gauntlets achievements to be doable after the event ends, as a permanent addition to the game. They’ve already stated that the Gauntlet is a recurring event.

Welcome to MMOs. There will always be empty zones once people reach max level. They were empty before this event, and they will remain empty after this event has passed.

Basically what you want is for ANet to force people to join you in the Open World. What was it again? For your “immersion”. Why not join an Role Playing Guild and LARP with them instead. The rest of us will be farming towards our own goals.

Er.. why not just buy Gems with real money when this happens..?

Umm… I just pretty much just fought this like everything I fight. Just target the gunner first to get rid of the AoE. Then circle straffed everything with Troll Ungent and continuous dodging. Made sure to have piercing shot and just try to hit at least 2 targets with my shortbow at all time. Did this in one try with no downs before I even knew there was a strategy on this.

Oh, I’m a full blown glass canon with 30-30-10-0-0.

Edit: Forgot to say I use the Wolf and Alpine Wolf. Their F2 helps tremendously when you’re kiting.

Foreign characters like Chinese/Korean. They show up in the chat bubbles but are blank in the chat logs.

I once had to lead a team of Koreans in a dungeon using Google translate and making sure they’re all looking at my character to see my chat bubble.

If I was swarmed by hawks clawing at my eyes, I would be blind AND running my behind in circles while screaming at the top of my lungs.

I really think making Longbow a hybrid weapon (giving it a condition) is a bad idea.

Maybe put the stealth onto 4 (Knock back and stealths) and change 3 into a ranged root/slow.

Of course, something like this would be great for pvp/wvw but not pve.

What a coincidence. I use a sword on my Ranger. I’m my opinion, my sword is always viable in a thief. Where else should I stick it?

Remorseless was working fine for me in WvW last night. It refreshed on stealth as stated. However, I was mostly plinking people from afar so was full health with no adverse conditions on me. Maybe the bug has to do with stealthing while having conditions on you?

There should be an icon of crossed swords on the top left corner of your screen. Click on that and then click on the bar to Enter The Mist or whatever it says.

My friend, you’ve been missing out on something very essential for this game. The PvP locker allows you to preview all armor/weapons availible in-game. Meaning you can mix/match gear to see how they would look without having to google for game tags.

First thing I do when something new gets released is to go straight to the PvP locker and start seeing if it looks cool with other stuff.

Are you sure you can’t interact with them? They’re limited to once a day so if you’ve looted them today, trying to open them again only makes them disappear.

Er… I’m in Stormbluff Isles and I’m pretty sure we’re getting steamrolled by Crystal Desert and Sea of Sorrow. I always have Outmanned on my buffbar whenever I log into WvWvW these days…

I already lag enough with a million spells flying around from the Zerg. I can deal with it for 3 minutes but not 30.

I’m the only active player in my Guild, so Guild Leadership was transferred to me by the old Guild Leader. I use it just to carry on our name and the Guild Bank. Mainly the Guild Bank.

I love when my LB opening shot crit + Air Sigil proc sometimes takes 1/3 of some glass canon’s life away right off the bat. Then you see them stop in confusion (or terror, not sure which) and either die or run.

At work so unable to look this up, but which zone was it with the 4 part quest chain where you fought the 4 Sun Champions? Theres that one giant gate there at the end of the broken bridge where you fight the Tengu Archer for the skill point. Has that spot been mentioned yet?

I stopped on my Ranger at 2k coffers. Maybe I’ll buy another 2k and try it on someone else. Always worth a try.

It’s a freaking nightmare. I’m so sick of random armor pieces that take me hours of thinking to find one decent use for them.
Fortunately, 90% of them suck terribly.

I sort of LIKE the time I spent in front of the Armor Locker mixing and matching pieces (No Sarcasm). A big part of this game is about the cosmetics.

First off, there is already enough crying on the ranger forum, and I hope not to continue that while providing some genuine feedback in a competitive view.

Not sure why you wanted to link this in the Ranger’s forum when you clearly do not want more Ranger QQ in your threads.

At lower levels, use a Bear or Canine. They hold aggro a lot better than say, a Feline.
Use a Greatsword for AE Melee attacks or trait for Piercing Arrows and position yourself to hit all the mobs.

Just posting to say we’re Rangers, not Hunters.

Oh and yeah, Maul is my big numbers attack. Swoop takes awhile to hit.

This one line makes it obvious you’re a BM traited Ranger.

A couple of points:

1) If you put all your points into your pet line, they’re going to hit hard.
2) Damage per hit != Damage per Second (DPS).
3) (AFAIK) Pet attributes do not scale with the Ranger’s gear.

And most importantly: Pets hate moving targets. 0 hits = 0 damage.

Googling gave me an answer to this question. So apparently, what you saw was a Warrior with the Aether skin using a Warrior skill that shoots sets of flaming arrows.

I have a couple sets of armors for my Ranger but I like the casual look.

My Elementalist, I’m having trouble completing.I really think the Embroidered Pants are awesome, but I hate that line on my back as shown in the picture. It’s like the models aren’t stitching correctly so I can’t wear anything with an open back design. I wonder if it will ever be fixed.

Thats what I read from it. I don’t think he read the new patch about Quickness bonus being cut in half.

Why don’t you just go to The Mist and preview all the sets in the PvP Locker. They have pretty much all the armor/weapon available ingame for preview.
