I’m also in a Guild with two people and we got help from total strangers to claim our Guild Hall. Of course it wasn’t such a nice thought to invite people, get help and then they leave, but the people knew that and just wanted to help and i wanted that Guild Hall. So you have to decide what is more important for you, to claim the Guild Hall and get help or never ever let someone into your Guild for a few minutes.

But there is a point i totally agree, in GW1 you paid for a Guild Hall and then you got it and i’m not complainning about the price. But now you pay AND you need to clear it, that NPC is totaly a rip-off in-game. If i like to buy a House i don’t want to get rid off those who live in there and pay for that hopefully you see my point here.
Not complaining about effort or something just about the method.
What would be if there will be more Guild Halls implemented, do we always need to clear them first, will there always be Mordrem inside or will there be more dangerous Enemys later?
Why isn’t there a small Guild Hall for small Guilds in main Cities (f.e. a laboratory in Rata Sum with instance cap of 10-15 members max, limited upgrades like no arena, just tier 1 upgrades) and those bigger Halls for bigger Guilds with some elite feeling and enough space for all members. Those would lead to both sides happy (everyday life complainers not included :P)

Yeah, it also was added on wiki so people know it’t not worse it right now to use this runes :/
the mechanic already excist in the Sigil you named, so it should not be that hard to fix it.

More healing power statsets?

I don’t know if you know that there IS a Power, Precision, Healing combination named Zealot. With it’s power as main you get pretty damage and good critical, just your Ferocity isn’t that high which will lead to less powerfull crit hits.

Also healingpower isn’t a main stat so it won’t have such a priority.
Ferocity is the worst represented stat, there is not even a Major combination with it.

for healing we have:
Zealot = damage (which i’m using to mix and match some stats)
Nomad = full tank
Cleric = tanky and lower damage
Apothecary = tanky and condition

Maybe a Condition damage, Power, Healing (Precision as 4th maybe) set would be something new, so you get allround damage with healing.

Back then, after i played GW2 a while and explored the jumping puzzles i was a bit dissapointed that this game never had some movable Platforms that carries the Character some where (up,down or anywhere else).
But now after i played HoT and right before the last Boss there is this slow spinning “thing” on which you need to get up and fight your way through and it really carries the Character with you while its moving. I really love it, so i spend some minutes on it and just let me spin x).
Also in Tarir there is some kind of Waterslide which will make your character first slide slow and then gets a bit faster if you stay on it, you also can try to move up but get slowy ahead. Spend some minutes there too.
Never thought that this game will have this kind of physicks.

I wish you could do things like that more often in this game, or build JP with real movable Platforms or Waterslides, so that you need the speed of the sliding to cross a cliff.

Also loved the new Cutscenes, so much better then those face-to-face talkings.

So i’m just positive surprised with this.

Just wanted to leave a good comment here.
Maybe we will read some more.

Malyck in HoT...

What i thought about his tree is something like this:
At the end of the story we will find a tree and i'm pretty sure this one was meant to resemble an more Mordremoth influenced one. The Place we were fighting Faolain was kind of a counterpart of the Chamber of Pale Trees Avatar, because of this thorny thing where Trahearne was hanging before he got carried away. At the End the Pale Tree isn't more than just Roots with Spiral ways. So Mordremoth just corrupted Malycks Tree. Also his Tree had no dream and those Sylvari aren't connected to this Tree so even if it's corrupted they can stay uninfected. This could have also give some hints how to defeat Mordremoth within the Dream
But there is the Story missing and the Reaction of my character saying something like “another one?” and of course Malyck or maybe more Sylvari of his tribe should have been fighting against Mordremoth too, at least that was the whole point of Malyck (helping against Elder Dragons, yeah there are 4 more left but who cares now, Sylvari story is over the rest will just be forced interpretation).

And like Konig says, there are more missing plot lines, some of them could be implement after story but some could have envolve the story so much more.
You remember those Explorer from Dry Top? Explorer Kitabi, Savio and the hylek one. Wasn’t they supposed to find out what happened there, so they could have gain some information about Mordremoths or Malyck (atleast they were members of Durmand Priory, they have knowledge)
It is actually sad that we got a full story with release, because it just felt rushed but to be honest i was expecting that. I wish they could ad more story within the story, to expand the whole expirience.

Actually i’m stunned that they totally missed that important fact in the Lore. Or did i missed anything, maybe some information from an NPC or a hidden message anywhere?

I really was hoping for that part of the Story in HoT. Is there still any chance for a good cameback for him? I doubt it.

The last effect of the new Rune of Berserker doesn’t work (+5% Damage and +5% Condition Damage). Tested it mainly with condition damage, don’t know about the normal damage boost.

Next time when i hear about Scepter changes i would like to see something like this:

Fire #1 – reduced casttime, might buff for 3s

Water #1 – increased damage
Water #2 – increased damage, initial-damage on cast, vulnerability, second pulse of damage, increased cooldown
Water #3 – add knock down

Air #1 – reduced casttime
Air #3 – aoe blind, fury buff

Earth #3 – fast whirl finisher

All i can say is that i really want the old animation back, th enew one jus tlooks bad and wierd ( just like a slow version of dagger 1)
Used axe since i start playing necro just because i liked the playstyle and animation. Thats what i’ll do with every of my characters. Not because of DPS or any stupid bugs.
The worst part is that they’ll do this secretly. Fix important bugs in-game and don’t change this kind of stuff.
Blame you a-net, bad move.

The New Bass

I bought every Instrument yet, even the Frame Drum which is the most disappointing of all because the sounds are to random. And when i try to make a rythem i don’t want to depend on luck to get a good one.
But now this Bass Guitar takes the 2nd place of disapointing Instruments.
Like people already said, this sounds synthezised. And i guess those people who play a Bass Guitar themself now the difference between a Bass and a Acoustic Guitar and even those already said this doesnt sound like a good bass.

For the future, if you should do a Violine, Saxophone or other type of Guitar, please let some musicans judge it before release.

Racial skills

I really like them, mostly the Charr and Asura skills. I use Sylvari Druid summon as Elite and i’m very satisfied with it.
Some players plays a different style and that is the reason why they are there

They don’t need to be overpowered to be usefull, but that doesn’t make them useless either.

I already reported that as a bug ingame, i don’t know if that is intended but i don’t hope so.
It’s such a nice set but the coloring of other females are just better an that is for all, charr, norn, sylvari and human. Only asura are the only one who got a different coloring which is sad.

I’ll hope they’ll fix that before expansion release

I really wish it is a Meele Staff he can use, and like Invictus i really wish that this class can’t, simply can’t wear a greatsowrd.
Maybe he will get a warhorn, shield, torch and dagger.

His range weapon may be a bow, which one i can not say.
I just doubt that he use mechanic weapons like pistol or rifle. Even if he seems to use magic i can’t believe that he can wear scepter or focus somehow, but it’s just a feeling.

I would really like to now what he can wear, because i like the new crimson weapons and would finally use my tickets for them aslong as they cost 1, but i just don’t know which one he can wear.

So please Arenanet, don’t let us speculate to long :/

Forum community's view on instrument macros?

For myself, i don’treally like using macros on instruments. When i hear someone using a macro for it the song just songs just doesn’t really sounds nice to me because the notes are all same volume and that what should be normaly played a bit softer in background will be plaed along the main notes.
Other fact is that people hear it and think “wow he playes so good, i give him some money” and woops they get something for using a macro which isn’t allowed. It’s like i take my mp3 player go into the city and let my music play loud and people starting throw money in a box for me. Getting something for no effort.

People who have a talent for music stuff don’t need a macro, others shouldn’t buy instruments as they wouldn’t do in real life only if they just want to play around with it, but using macros shouldn’t be an option then.

That is the nice thing in Guild Wars 2, you can costumize more and more.
I love Griffons anyway, but what i really long for now is a Squirrel who brings my Mails… one? no, a bunch of them.
A Rockfur Raccon would be nice too, with a Squirrel riding it :P

New Weapons

I’m still waiting for an offical statement to new Weapons (and Classes) anyway.
What i’m hoping would happen is that they implement Greataxe, like the one Toy Axe from the Halloween outfit. That would be really nice for my Warrior. But what i think is that we won’t get the new Weapons ins old Set styles like Dragon’S Jade weapon (they didn’t even create underwater weapons for it).
Also i would like to see a Lance or Naginata styled Weapon, ecspacially for elementalist i could imagine nice skills (i don’t think that this would happen anyway ^^).
As people already said, those weapons a Engineer or Elementalist can summon/use as a kit should definitly implimented, it would just made sense.

Yes, give us the old mimic back.
it was a really great protection skill against everything when you use it right.

People who say it was bad just don’t know how it worked (like that one person that told me “absorbing one proectile every 25 seconds was just bad”).
For those who understood, this was not a bad skill, it was just not “supirior” enough to get into meta builds, but that doesn’t mean it was a bad skill. The echo was a nice addon too and it was fun to use.

Why not stay in one atunement?

For a switcher the Elementalist in Guild Wars 2 i just not good enough designed in my opinion. there should never be a weakest nor a strongest element but this game clearly shows that there is.
But because those element “dancing” is class mechanic now and because that what other classes have in two weapons, eles have in 4 is the reason why you should not stay on a single atunement.

I prefer a specific element anyway so i just don’t care and play most of the time on that element, so i’m one of the one-atunement-user.

I used it before that change, because it was a very nice protection Skill which a Mesmer could need. You just needed one projectile to block all incomming attacks and reflect all incomming projectiles and the best of it you could trigger it by yourself with all bouncing skills on a near enemy and with the long cast time a really nice protection over a longer time.

But now it just … at least for PvE, a total waste in my opinion.
Don’t know why the change.

This is no bug.
The 1.200 just describes the range for creating a clone, if your targeted enemy is not within the range you just teleport back without a creating a clone.

Since release we got plenty new hair styles for all gender and race, but we didn’t got a single new beard.
And all we got with humans are upper lip beard styles.
I would like to see some without that (see attachment: red line need to be shaved).
or something like a goat beard (see Minister Caudecus, maybe a bit shorter then that version )

And Norn should get a few “normal” beard styles, without any decoration stuff inside.

I’m playing on water, but not as a healer just because i like this element in general and i don’t even use water 30 so this trait is just uninteresting for me.
If it would give me the extra abilty that my healing skills also damage the enemy THEN i would think about it, but somehow i need damage, because i got enough heal and water has no condition, that means i use fire and air traits, now waiting what trait will come there.
Don’t care about my play style, i have fun with it and thats what a game should be right?

-adding damage conditions like torment to water(ice-skills like frozen ground, frozen burst) and confusion to air for better damage output.

-traits connected to an atunement define your combat a bit too much. just for example: i want using signets and the fitting traits, i need to use earth a much a possible to get the fixed trait effects from this traitline. While other classes have mostly 1 trait for one weapon out of 2 weaponsets, the elementalist needs to use more traits for one element out of 4.
so i would like to see more elemental friendly traits in other traitlines and less shattered traits that basicly could be one single trait just to fit the elemental effect like might for fire.

-range change within battle (maybe a weapon slot for each attunement, which means that i put my staff on the fire atunement and dagger on air and that will cause me to use the staffskills for fire and daggerskills for air in combat, so i have to atune to fire if i want higher range)

Conjures - Kits

Of course they need to change the mechanic of conjured weapons, but it would be kind of usefull to switch during a fight, between this weapons. I know that elementalist has his 4 atunements and with that a list of 4 build to switch with, but we can’t switch from meele to range that easy. So i usally play with dagger in main hand and use a ranged weapon i can conjure on slot 7 so i even have the option to do that kind of switch during a fight.

If we could change it that often then some people would overuse some skills of course but i was wodnering why they never changed the strenght of some skills anyway from that conjured weapons. For an elite-status the FGS needs to be specific this should not a permanent choice for a fight.

I liked the Idea of Gorani with that buff like banner.
To be honest i never see anyone using the stone shield or flame axe anyway, maybe for fun but thats all. That would make people to wield the weapon for a longer time, not just one skill then drop it. Maybe make a trait out of it, so that you don’t conjure two weapons but instead you give buff to others and can switch like a engi-kit.

The mechanic of this fight is really nice to play. I really enjoying stuff where you have to find strategy to defeat the enemy and this game has really a potential to create more of that.

But the arvhivements for a living story which is just temporary should really focus on the players behavior. I don’t want to complain about others to be the reason why i don’t get my archivements, but there is a reason why i didn’t got it even when i’ve done everything right.
For me it’s a failure in the development of the requirements but there are a few players who just don’t see it simple like that and start to offend others. And that fact can ruin the fun at the end.

Scarlet said also something about that Faolain doesn’t know it and she will gonna tell to her. So i believe it has to do something about Caithe herself or her relation to Faolain. If she really had killed Snaff then i guess Scarlet would run to Zojja instead to spread chaos between them. We do know that Scarlet knows something that would change the whole world, so maybe it has to do something with the Pale Tree or the Jungle Dragon. When i think about Snaff, i believe she is innocent.

Underwater Content

I really like underwater combat and i’m disappointed due to the lack of underwater places and content in the game. there are serveral undewater areas but most of them are just small lakes or undead areas in orr. I would like to enjoy some completly water based maps, dungeons and swimming puzzles.

It would be nice if they unlock the Meta archivement rewards to the “Unlocked Rewards” where you find Zenith stuff. That would at least give us a chance to siwtch between those one time stuff that you worked for.

Well or maybe like head decoration in GW before. Go to an npc, show him the back skin and after that you and your account can buy it for less money again.

We Charr Demand For More Attention !

Charr can stand upright (they do in various emotes), but it’s uncomfortable for them. Do you want an uncomfortable charr? :P

Well they did that in GW1 so seems like some charrs really enjoy it to stand up like that and its quite comfortable hehe

When i heared the first time about playing as a charr i actually thought about both styles of them, the casters and the meeles and i was really excited but when i realized they just implemented the meele version i was a bit disappointed.
While male and female charrs even have the same sets of armor it just would be nice that we could at least select the anatomy of the charr.

I also just can agree to those clipping issues with shoulder armor, it often doesn’t fit like some back items (like tequatl wings) not even connected with the back.
Just don’t rush yourself with bringing new content, leave atleast one not so lazy employee free so he can work on stuff like that

Expansion into Cantha

Yeah i’m totally up for “Cantha the Empire of the Dragon” or-something-like-that Expansion. That’s what i’m already waiting for anyway.

Zhaitan was the one who cut of the way to Cantha and to avoid the Deep Sea Dragon they got airships right but of course it would be a perfect location for him to show off.
Maybe the Deep Sea Dragon isn’t even such a danger to the Emperor of Cantha as Zhaitan was for Kryta.
As we know Cantha has relations to dragons anyway so i really believe that i will come back anyway and AreaNet already got some Ideas to implement those content, but for me, i really can’t wait for this content to show up.

And of course the Tengus would fit right in to that content, i already loved them in GW but i still do now in GW2 so any Tengu content would be nice.
They also must know some magic and fightinig skills from Cantha that are unknown to the current game world, like a Ritualist profession or maybe a new Samurai class with swords, lances and bows…
A playable Tengu Ritualist…. oh that make dreams come true :P

I really enjoyed the asian themed landscapes and nsc’s, would be very nice to see them come back .

To think about Elona, that’s cleary Kralkatorrik area i guess and some Palwa Joko stuff, maybe fighting against the dragon, the derwish class and maybe some djinn who knows… all introduced by the Order of Whispers

Stuck at 32/33 Feats

Me and a friend stuck at 32/33 aswell and i runned before the fixing patch and had 32 and then together with my friend today and we ended up with 32 aswell. Everytime he got a point i followed him but all the points he found i also already got.
I also did those levels everytime i had some minutes for a run and still no changes. Seems like Bonus Stage didn’t count and this checkpoint at teleporters in 2-2 neither so they have nothing to do with the archive.

wrong Mission in Personal Story

Yes i played with a friend of mine, but the point is that we choose the same fear because we played the whole story together. We just switched the person who start the mission to see both characters talking and reactions. Sorry i didn’t knew that even if that is an well-known bug, just wanted to have fun with a friend together. So the only way to get back to my own path is to find a player who choosed this way and get to the key scenes of the game. Thank you for your answer.

wrong Mission in Personal Story

I couldn’t find anything yet about that so i will report that here.
When you play the personal story you have to decide in"A Light in the Darkness" what you fear the most, i decided for my Team loosing the respect to me and while i was going further in the story i noticed that i got the wrong mission “Strinking Off the Chains” and i know that because i already played with that storyline aswell. So that messed up my Character because i wanted to play anonther storyline. A friend of mine got the same Issue, also he got it a second time on some later Missions ans some other decissions, but he ended up in the Apatia Storyline aswell. I hope that will get fixed and the current Mission get changed to the right one.
