Content patches always go after 12 so nobody has to work over their lunch to push it out.
ANet picked a great model with no subs since it fits with what they knew people would do; play for a while, quit, come back when there’s something new going on. On new living story updates my guild would hit 70+ people online, normally we’re around 30-40 people online.
That the game is still B2P and they don’t just give the game away for free is a testament to ANet’s design of the game. Good job ANet!
Like I said already (I think), I’m a total noob… So… I wasn’t aware you could convert gold to gems? huge revelation
How is this done? (Sorry)
Open the Black Lion Trading post (press the O key on your keyboard) and one of the tabs on the left of the interface will be the gem conversion tab.
But I like the megaserver.
Don’t worry, people will now complain about the 200 gems per episode if they miss the LS content when it’s current.
I just wonder why it costs gems to unlock if you miss the living story when it’s live. I’m thinking it’s to get more people to play the living story when it’s live, rather than waiting until the very end.
I’d like to see it as a mini-game instead of sitting on the bank hitting the fish button.
The next villain is Bane.
I say just have a cut scene explaining what’s happened so far.
As every poster can tell you, all MMOs are dieing, and have been for the last decade. Sorry to give you bad news.
I think of magic find as paragon levels from Diablo. We just need a way to increase gold find and the circle will be complete.
They will introduce the ability to buy quaggan merchandise with gold, removing all money from the game.
You can tell which one is a queen daily as the icon has a star in it.
I came across a chest in queensdale that was already open and would not give me the option to search it.
I guess this is punishment for defeating the tier 4 pirate thing last update before the nerf.
I like the VIP area because it means I don’t have to spend time dodging the poors that clog up the streets of Lion’s Arch.
I want my 10 gold, I have to get home and play for hours on end. I don’t have anything to spend it on except gems though.
The edges of the map have nothing in them, so a balloon ride would show the vast empty space surrounding the map.
The living story will be all about the Quaggan and their dreams of becoming rock stars.
Unfortunately I can’t read Chinese. Where do you get those numbers? Can you link it?
I used google translate to see the text. You can see the same numbers here. http://www.reddit.com/r/Guildwars2/comments/1j6bkv/interesting_figures_about_guild_wars_2_from_the/
The games not even out in Asia and China gets the numbers before us.
In the first 4 months the game sold 3 million copies, we already know this. In a recent live dev interview Colin Johanson said they are well over 3 million. The game is still full price on Anet’s website so they must be selling pretty well.
There are 2.5 million active players per week.
On average 508,428 hours of GW2 are played every day. This is 3.5 million hours per week, or only 1.4 hours per week per player.
Edit: While looking at prices on other sites I discovered there is a Guild Wars 2 strategy guide that costs money.
I wonder how many people even know something will happen if GW2 Facebook gets 1 million likes. I know I had no idea.
It’s for people with more money than sense.
Then I guess you don’t vote.
If they took out the karka how could I taunt people and follow them around saying ,“you’re about to get karkaed.”
I’ve got 196 points after 6 games in Southsun Survival. At an average of 32 points per game that’s 78 games I need to play for the achievement.
Aspect is just plain bad. I was constantly getting knocked around because the animations for the wind ups were not playing for me.
The achievement for 3 and 4 clearly says you have to do the achievement for 1 and 2 first.
Vote for Gnashblade, he always runs on all fours. Four legs good, two legs bad.
It takes a few months for a councillors policies to take effect any way.
You can see the recorded preview here.
I’m going to vote for both candidates and get all the achievements. >:)
The candidates are both two sides of the same coin. They want to use these in Fractals of the Mists so they can rip it apart and then claim the flame legion destroyed the FOTM. Watch the council start a war.
They are both two sides of the same coin, vote independent!
- Candidate trials where you, on your own or with friends , fight Aetherblades trying to loot a crashed airship.
- You collect support tokens and turn them in to get a support badge (no relation to Steam badges). This gives you a 1 hour buff to gain support for your candidate.
- There’s at least 12 achievements, 6 for each candidate. No word on if there are more achievements.
We need culling gone in PVE and then you’ll be able to judge better.
This is the number one reason think nobody is playing the game. It takes quite a while for even a nameplate to appear. If you and another player are running by each other you’ll never know it. When I’m running through Lion’s Arch I’ll see maybe one or two nameplates at any given time, if I stop a whole bunch of nameplates will pop up after a few seconds. This has happened to me at the bank, I walk up wondering where everybody is and then the center of my screen turns into a giant mess of text.
Second reason are players not using map chat to talk. I’ve come across groups of people in LA using /say to talk to each other.
To judge server population hit the world select button on the character screen and you can see the population of each server. Every time I’ve looked every US server is very high while poor old Europe is always medium. I wonder why Europe hates GW2.
I’m all for no pants. We must throw off the chains of oppression onto the bedroom floor where our moms will pick them up even though we keep telling her not to go into my bedroom mom.
No blood for quaggan.
I’m voting for him because he’s a pretty kitty.
Snicky has yet to announce his stance on using Lion’s Arch as a testing ground for weapons of mass destruction. Why does Snicky refuse to answer the question? What does he have to hide? Why does he want to blow up Lion’s Arch?
I’m waiting for someone to drop in any minute and complain about the rewards from the chest.
I only have like 3000 points so it will take a long time to get the 5000 chest.
I did this back in the day, before I got this paper, before I got paid. It was really boring and I enjoy mining stuff up more than flipping stuff.
I’m confused, he’s a kitty, why wouldn’t you want to vote for him?
Thanks for the info!
Is there a way to see the serial code associated with your account? I’m paranoid I’ll lose my phone and with it my authenticator.
Thanks for any answers.
I’ll buy your votes for 10 cents on the dollar.
Did you know that marnick.4305 has never said they don’t approve of throwing baby charr off cliffs? What does marnick.4305 have to hide? If marnick.4305 is against throwing baby charr of cliffs why don’t they just come out and say it?
Vote Evon if you’re against throwing baby Charr off cliffs.
(edited by Yaos.4528)
A vote for Kiel is a vote for communism. Don’t be fooled by the reduction in waypoint costs, they will be paid for by taxes on the job creators. Evon owns the BLTP and will be paying for the reduce key costs out of his own pocket.
ASCALON! ASCALON! ASCALON!
