sometimes when i use heartseeker without a target(its mostly used for gap closing)
it curves sideways/jumps me backwards. usually a slight curve left with the blade.
no idea whats causing this.

can we remove this, we get idiots in our party that accept almost anyone…in the end no one realized that as were in a zerg for our side the KITTEN guy in the opposing side in our party is GHOSTING our location out.

/join when you select an enemy invader/defender if they are not in a party.

disable it…it completely goes against hiding names except guild names in wvwvw anyway…why allow this?

Why is it during Claw of Jormag that those only capable of wielding 900 range still cannot hit jormag without dying yet rangers have no problem hitting them. Is this not choosing favorites? My shortbow used to be able to hit him(thief) without getting Frost on me but in the same exact spot, my pistol would not reach.

This screws up the reward i receive as well. i could be getting lvl 80 rare/exotic from the chests…but instead i get a chest pop up only to give lvl 68 gear….because i could not contribute fully.

using daggerstorm the gunner still knocked me down -_- and knocks me back. in daggerstorm im supposed to be immune. he completely interrupts me with projectiles and his blowback as im still in DS

Another way to stay hidden without aoe is to chain CnD off of a wall. should work for everyone if you time it right but i also have some init regen on meh

Just completed the LAST daily i needed for the monthly to give me credit for April.

however i was in the dungeon CoF doing path 1. completed it which gave me credit to my LAST daily in which turn would be my LAST 4/4 monthly completion…
however it says 3/4 on the left but 4/4 on the right…and the bar ISN’T full…
i only got my daily chest but not my monthly/10 laurels.

cant see my cursor cuz of the Screenshot – was gonna report in game but it wouldn’t let me hover over the bar and click Take Screenshot at the same time, So I posted on here.

One thing I personally get frustrated with are the Dragons.
Mainly Jormag – Shortbows(at least on thief)+Pistols cannot reach…and if were melee were stuck not getting any good damage in on the Dragon Lieutenant . if we DO get in range…JUST barely but surely in range – we start dying from the freezing cold. can we fix this so we can DO something? im getting crap rewards becasue i cant hit the KITTEN thing.

The fix is very simple..Thieves getting attack should be revealed. Like every other game in the multiverse. It was a grave oversight and should be corrected.

You don’t have a clue what you’re talking about, and you should leave this thread immediately. That, or perhaps develop a modicum of skill. Thieves are not hard to counter. There’s a reason they’re about as popular in tPvP as herpes.

i agree with ya – if he thinks that stealth should be removed when you get hit, think of how bad it would break the entire profession – wvw/pvp oh your immobilized and in an aoe/ get hit by a stray bullet? too bad you cant go stealth again so well kill you. inneffective for surviving in wvw zergs with magic toilet paper rolls flying around as poo flies….one manages to hit you in the face accidentally while your low health – TOO BAD!….no = Auesis, slap yourself – MANY players play thieves

I would like to be able to when you hav gotten your own plot to build on,that if i wanna build a small castle instead of a house i can,would also be good if you could hire guards
merchants and surch,hav banditraids in the zone,hav workers ,some should be able to build taverns and other things like that you could make money from buy selling to other players in the zone…..

i like this- may take alot of time though and crash the market however.

what do you think of that idea i posted?

For player Housing/Guild Halls when they are released

In order to build player housing/guild halls/decor, players must search for specific materials based on what they are wanting to build such as wood, metals, etc. Not only will they be able to use the basic ingredients used in most crafting disciplines but they will also sometimes gain a piece of the item needed to add together with the basic materials previously harvested. The item part gathered is entirely random based on what you are harvesting.(Harvesting Pine Sapling yields different results than Banyan Sapling) Harvesting/Mining/Gathering may not always yield a piece crucial for building the house/guildhall/decor.

Example: If you would want to build a clock for a mount as decor on a guild hall/house you would need say some metal(depends on what clock you want)/wood.

The clock requires gears which can be made from 2 types of ore but also require Mithril for the melting down of it all. Mining the ore yields the usual materials which you may also obtain from the Trading Post however you miss out on gaining the random parts to other items you could add to your House/Guild Hall such as the screws which may be obtained while mining those ore. The items are CUSTOMIZED to convince players get out and explore the world.

Once all items needed to obtain the clock are acquired(raw materials+items) Toss them into the mystic forge to create your item. If you so wish, you may be able to store items in your storage in your Guild Hall/Housing area until preparation for use.

-players will not rely entirely on TP for obtaining ALL of the items, they need to go out and get their hands dirty to progress.
- promotes exploration with a sense of achievement. “yeah….i built that house”/“i poured my time into our guild hall”

the easiest way i got to 80 was to get to 15 in starting area on my thief…after that saved up enough coin to craft to 30 – then AFTER that – had a lvl 80 friends plow me through my own story which returned most if not ALL of my cash AND got me crap tons of exp.

you could also do the grind thing =
explore ALL the maps and leave 1 little thing undone- do the next area same thing. go BACK and get ALL those "little last things " get map completion for THAT area (xp u gain is a percentage of what lvl u are anyway and how much you have). AND THEN finish off from lvl 75-80 in wvw/craft the rest with a booster (remember u get a percentage of what u have as xp ALREADY.

Stealth still is somewhat ridiculous, with no way to actually counter it except stab blindly in the air. However, the most absolutely atrocious things, are D/D Elementalists. I hope that they get nerfed so hard into the ground it’ll take them a century just to find out how deep they are. The quantity of people that abuse this nonsensical build make me not only dislike the Devs for making the mistake, but also dislike the people that condone and use it. Whereas Necromancers such as myself, and our Warrior brethren must suffer at the bottom.

Maybe so. We’re debating it.

If it’s a PvE change, it will be absurd in WvW, where thieves are already one of the strongest if not the most popular class for roaming.

I think it’s time to change the WvW ruleset to share spvp limitations, like a hard cap on crit damage bonus at 60% and using the spvp formula for confusion, which is pretty broken against players with the PvE one.

whats the point in hitting something in wvw the same as if it gets hit in sPvP? zergs are the main cause of someone dying – and i have said it a million times, buidls will trump builds in wvw…thats how it is if your roaming alone by yourself. you cant expect to have so and so OP!!!! just becasue your stupid enough to roam alone. WvWvW is teamwork- not kitten Hunger Games. wvwvw is still PvE while the real competition and problems lie within sPvP. most people are geared out in wvw from pve gear anyway…oh wait they ARE!….imagine the time taking the mathematical problems into accoutn based on having 1 amulet in spvp as opposed to several ascended and exotic earrings etc in pve(aka wvw)….then nerfing IT….yeah…id rather much agree on watching twilight with someone rather than to put wvw into the spvp categroy for the upcoming patch as a SPLIT.

besides – what does a build matter when you cant really tell who killed ur butt in the first place when 5 million people roll over you leaving a mangled trampled corpse in wvw anyway?…exactly u CANNOT say OP until you saw the 100 grenade engineer…THAT was a needed nerf NOT 4 second reveal in wvw/pve….ONLY spvp

after that update i stopped playing all together – felt like i was forced to try something else, not what i was into – i WASNT forced though, but i felt obsolete and worthless after that patch. nerf to my healing, and dps. and i dont even use D/D, in fact i think mindless idiots use d/d ( offense intended ). changes shouldnt have been made at all to wvw/pve tbh, only sPvP because of the strict reason WvWvW is monstly Zerg this and Zerg that to the point of stealth wont really bloody matter anyway when your gonna either BE in the zerg killing or trying to hit something/running fro ma zerg ( which they’ll catch you eventually)

i still say the reason for the stealth hit was becasue of people that kittened too much about dying while they were trying to roam around WvWvW alone and got punished by a thief. your not suppseod to roam around anyway – whiners got their way. ANYOEN can kill a thief in OR outta stealth. there was no reason to make the change – should buffed OTHER classes instead of nerfing one

honestly in ALL opinion – if your NOT a thief or tanky player/player without many kites/escape skills – you shouldn’t be roaming alone in wvwvw any KITTEN way – its wvwvw….not 1v1v1. QQ more – work as a team, stomp a thief but pretend your in CoD(children of daycare) and try to be bad*butt* and die….alot. i personally agree, in the original game Guild Wars 1 (great series of games), they eventually starting updating and nerfing in bulk, eventually let things play out and as the staff grew along with the maturing of THAT game they started seeing how people played and monitored skill and profession usages {in gw1 u could have a primary and secondary profession} they would split nerf them depending on such skills OPability.

Example: Shadow Form for PvE would be entirely different than that of Shadow Form for PvP. (example here: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Shadow_Form see top of window for pvp version)

you guys must remember this: its a FRESH GAME…it HAS to mature and go through its “phases” of nerfs before they get stable. just roll with the punches (NOTHING IS PERMANENT in the long run….it never was in gw1 either) just take a chill pill.
playing gw1 for 8 years and gw2 since beta+3day headstart i should know among the other players that Arenanet pulls through…all the time.

yeah , they HIT the FARMABLE dungeons but it effects palyers literally farming it to lvl up faster as originally intended…so what if someone farms it…lower lvls are like…wtf?!

as a guild of lvl 35- 37 we foudn the dungeon changes and the new " revamp" to scaling up to be rediculous. if oringally they would scale to the number of players PLUS the players lvl in how difficult it would be…then thats fine, but the new change to the scaling is absurd…scaling to how good the players are!? yeah sure if EVERYONE was that great in the group and not the average. constant wiping in AC on the final boss is expected at times since its a new change but when he resets several times after we hit em and his shields get back up THEN drop to see he has full health again…no thanks.

alot of bugs along the way as well, cant reflect projectiles back at the spider/kohler either…they go right through the Feedback field and the guardian bubble as well.
(reported this in bug section already )

Those low lvls that just hit 35 that want to group up for AC shouldn’t be discouraged with this crap change that has been made. before it wasnt TOO hard and was possible…now …IDK.

so much for that, i refuse path 2 on anything but an entire 80 team

Spider queen – if a dome is placed around the spider queen to REFLECT projectiles they STILL get through.

Tired of picking up an object that someone was carrying as they died while trying to revive them then they end up dying?

i propose having another option on top of the revive option/under it whenever the options pop up on the right to either revive OR to pickup an item/interact. so then we could pick which one we wish to do without clicking all over or hover all over the place for the right action we wish to perform.

Drive the dredge out of Fridgardr Lodge – i can never get this quest to trigger but the others seem to do so just fine. the event is hung up and dredge always occupy this area.

Killing him with condition damage(IE: bleed, burning and poison) in path 2 was something i found out while auto attacking him with Vital Shot on my thief tanking him while my team does the Rock + Acolyte Part so I got a group together to put it to the test.

Killed him in the screenshot
- Nothing drops
- No Achievement
- No other Chest spawns

Bug: No reward after you finish the dungeon path and no reward for the daily/monthly dungeon progression.

Veer away from killing him if you get curious, waste of time.

The veteran Risen Acolyte of Dwayna uses a skill thats been added on that is an AOE circle with a dark symbol and some black smoke in it, once it appears there’s NO dodging it at all, the effect triggers TOO fast, immediately as it spawns your sucked in pushed to one side then sucked right back in and out the other, your literally “pinballed”. No hope of dodging it if your caught.

Based on my play time in the original Guild Wars, I wish to understand how the possible segregation of players without a specific amount of equipment could come along if any.

The original Guild Wars for groups for underworld ended up having people required to have a set amount of Ghastly Summoning Stones to prove how many times/how experienced you were in your path/the underworld run. Now this was usually required for speed-clears which aren’t as fast as they were there in the original game.

What’s to stop players from requiring item pings of the amount of fractal / pristine relics / infused rings etc to leave out the other players attempting to actually acquire enough relics to get the rings / drops to infuse in the first place?

Regardless of the upcoming patch that may allow more free-group-joining for different levels, they’re going to find a way to be elitists.

Noticed this with a slow group, went afk while holding his aggro- now this groujp was slow and one guy was afk so i had time to get him down here…if this is an exploit…people could afk to GET here…and just afk condition degen him to death for easy kills IF HE DROPS ANYTHING.

he deals NO dmg…
he cannot TAKE dmg
he CAN suffer from Condition DMG

The range of the pistol doesn’t reach the claw yet while standing in the exact same spot the shortbow can reach. Both have the exact same range. Is this kind of an unfair bug? only rangers + warriors / others with extended range can stay back from the Frost Bite effect while thieves and other melee have to run in and more than likely die from a frozen big toe just so we can land hits?

It can be easily duplicated by standing on the right side of the Claw of Jormag during the 2nd half of the event (when he hasn’t any wings) where the majority of players tend to use ranged attacks.

Test with shortbow and watch for numbers…if it lands you, well get numbers… while standing in the exact same spot – switch to pistol(s)…they wont land and are out of range.

I as well spent 100 gems just to try my luck, i wont do that again. i got 10 ugly sweaters, a movement speed boost and 3 tonics. it was not worth the money. it is indeed misleading and i hope we all get refunded our money. TOTAL WASTE
