i totaly disagree with your ideea OP.
1. so you want to reduce from 300 diferent stat builds on wvw to 10 based on some amulets?
is 1 of the reason i have no interest for sPvP . to few amulets, cannot combine stats as you want.
2. i do not belive that for an skilled player , farm some items can be hard : i will be honnest with you. i’ve breaked all my items 2 weeks ago to sell runes/sigils /gamble in mystic forge. I’ve failed so i buyed with last 20 silver ( fine quality magic find equipment ) and i managed to farm 60 gold in first day . you need arround 50 gold to get full exotics gear, that is 1 day of farm + 4 days to get lvl 80
if you play hardcore sPvP you could even have 30-50 starting gold from selling dyes

that trait got serious competition
i like arcing slice
but i agree with bull charge/rush
not sure about: bola 30% faster, sounds good but might turn intro overpowered
humans got hounds of balthazar , can help you to take an hard skill point or aoe dps for an event
norns got advantage in pvp , for any class except thief , because they can stealth, with elite transformation
asura’s got tactical advantage in small groups cause you cannot know how many they are if they use same armor /dyes

What do you do between bursts? The GS falls heavily behind.
GS falls even more behind because, realistically speaking, you rarely get to use a full HB AND you rarely get to use it as soon as it is off cooldown. Every second it waits in you bar, that is tons of lost DPS.
there is not much time betwen bursts.
my usualy rotation vs champion is rush / hb / AS /whirlwind / switch rifle
vs bosses i cannot facetank for 3’1/2 seconds to land an full hb , there the axe warrior will have to move arround betwen hits also. Gs will win because whirlwind and rush /furry for your ranged weapon

his stats are inflated with 10% critical power , 10% critical damage (double food buff ) and 250 p attack (25x bloodlust)
he got 2 ascended rings +backpack with crit dmg and armor
helm shoulders looks like karma ( p/t/v)
he got 10 cond duration //100% critical power // 300 healing power so traits looks like

rest of his armor i belive is an combination betwen knight and valkyrie , maybe beryl orbs
i stoped it when you used CnD on first neutral . I leave the fights vs P/D thieves , in the second they drag battles to neutrals and start CnD on mobs . No offence , but in my opinion it ruined all the vid.
Well i run full zerker Armour and balance trinkets (solari, Sunari, triforge, 2x karka shell earring) Axe’s hit for about 1k with auto attack, and thats on a crit. 100B hits for 15-20k, easily.
Fully buffed Axe Chain 3 can hit for over 6k dmg. 3 times in 1,5sec! Your 1k Autoattack Crit is just a lie.
If u compoare only HB with the Axe Chain, u will fail. Because HB has go a CD, and within this CD the Axe will still do the same DPS.

he got 50 +50 + 40 + 40 power from trinkets = 180 power – and 180 to all stats
and 1k /hit is normal you hit 6 k /chain
in my oppinion A-net should make promotion rotation:
transfer to vabbi is free for next 3 days
transfer to … is free for next 3 days
players who use the promotion will receive an 7 days account bound golem banker and mobile trading post… etc.
There are enough players to cover all servers but they stack on t1 servers
i don’t use much auto attack , skill rotation betwen hb and whirlwind/arcing slice makes me use 5-6 auto attacks / 6 seconds

i like the most vs mesmers- no invulnerability, easy target
i hate to pvp vs p/d thieves, specialy vs the ones who drag the fight near mobs and vs bunker elementarists, i usualy ignore that fights cause they take 15 min +
most challenging is vs engineers // S/D thieves // cc bunker warriors // burst elementarists

considering p attack 3500 vs target defence 2500 you got an 1.4 damage multiplier
so you stay camuflated and hit for 3030 x1.42.60 (critical) =11029. i did not calculated any might stacks and asssasin signet or traits pasive, where your damage with 1 hit (stealthed + 2500 range ??? ) can easy hit over 10k damage and can go up to 25 k damage vs glas cannons.
As well comparing warriors with thieves is cool . but warriors miss stealth
so you want 1200 range weapon , and stealth on weapon skill

i hardly doubt you can outDPS the GS with any weapon
forcefull greatsword keep you to over 15 stacks of might even on high lvl fractals , at bosses you stay at over 20 stacks of might, wich will add you 25% extra damage
HB root is not an problem unless you solo , you can use hb constantly when agro is on another party member.when agro is on you, you will not facetank the mob with axe either on high lvl fractals , so persoanly i do not see the problem in HB root.
you also got 1 gap closer and 2 escape skills, wich can help you to switch betwen melle /range every time you lose agro and do 1 hb every 10 seconds.
i’ve tryed diferent builds vs cond thief , including sigil of purity /generosity+pasive regeneration.
But you cannot beat pro cond thief in 1 vs 1, cause poor condition removal. Signet of stamina got too long cooldown, shouts remove single condition , etc.
However you can dodge the fight easy-rush -whirlwind-savage leap -bye bye.

an norn can hide , arround 30 asura’s behind him , if he use rampage, is strategic skill
on a side note, first exotic 5 gold, 3 more rares x 33- 42 silver profit after listing fee = 6 gold
i know it has been said by A-net magic find does not affect chests , but is hard to belive that you can get rares /exotics from every chest when you load magic find gear, and you get 1 rare from 5-6 chests without.
Keep in mind that if magic find were party wide then you’d run into more discrimination in forming parties. We would see more of “if you don’t have full magic find gear then we don’t want you in our party”
Maybe , but that will split fractal runs intro 30 minutes runs, by 5 players with no magic find, and 2 hours -2.5 by 5 players with full magic find.
Magic find does not affect chests. What you got were merely coincidence.
Also, 6-20 gold is a huge assumption here. Those exotics that might seem to go for the high 10s of gold, don’t really sell… All you end up doing is wasting money on expensive posting fees as you continue to get undercut.
I belive you should try it by yourself, magic find does affect dungeon chests, i’ve also read it does not.
Also 6 gold is poor , all i need is 1 nika /rurik /aidan etc and i make 5 gold, 3 more rares is already 6 gold, +lodestones and cores, 20 gold ain’t overreacted, every 4 account bound exotics in mystic forge -result 1 exotic that you can sell.
i belive that we should have magic find shared betwen party members, or an option to check our party members gear. I belive over 70% of players join or create random dungeons /fractals party , with ppls they don’t know.
Here you got 2 options , to fight for your party , use best gear, use critical /lifesteal food etc, or pug your party with full magic find gear
Now an comparation betwen this 2 builds :
1’st – i use my top gear , try my best, i make 80 silver -1.5 gold /fractal run
0% -5% magic find
2’nd option i buy pirate runes , fine /masterwork explorer gear, magic find food – i make 6-20 gold /fractal run , 160% magic find
I’ve been frustrated last night when i try to pug an fractal party , with 160% magic find gear, since i had 5 exotics(3 account bound) 2 lodestones / 4 cores, and 5 rares in 1 single fractal run. And in over 300 fractals before i had maximum 10 lodestones / 20 cores and 4 -5 exotics.
Attached is my loot from an thief with 2250 p attack 30 critical power and 160 magic find, and the loot from my 0% magic find warrior , in same fractal.

1. check all redguard videos , they mostly warriors movies were in tier 1 EU, they can get or not focused they will rally few times as long as they hit 20 targets before they die
2. i don’t need to land only 4 hits on an glass cannon thief/ranger before knockback from bull charge is off and i won that pvp
3/4/5 . pasive endure pain and last stand are great for 1 vs 1, the only problem is invisible cooldown.
6. yes – condition removal is poor on warrior unless you spec on it, but heals + omnomberry’s + sigil of purity can help you vs that. is the major warrior weakness, if you want condition removal you must sacrifice all utility slots

Warrior is item dependent, and in sPvP he cannot use his full potential, however you see in wvwvw warriors killing enemy’s in under 3 seconds , and hey, what other class can solo Arah EXP ?, what other class can solo champions in pve ?what are you rambling on about?
- single target DPS in zerg v zerg? I’m sure that would do more damage than an AoE in a group of 20+ people
- are you kidding me? I’ve been hit by thieves for 5k+. The only way I’m ever going to hit 5k on someone is 1) if I go glass cannon (and last a few seconds) or 2) land my unlandable burst moves. Even if though thieves are glass cannon they’ll last 10 times longer than a “sustain” warrior, because of their stealth mechanics
- like I said, double base HP is useless when you get bursted down by 3 dudes in like 5 seconds, when eles or thieves that have half the hp we have, have so much more escapability than us.
- I’d rather ride the lightning or go stealth every few seconds than use any/all of the buggy kitten warrior gap closers- warriors don’t have passive stability.
- are you serious? 1. Guards have higher heals than us 2. They’re constantly regening health.
- underwater fighting… yeah coz those happen all the time… and please, upload a video of you soloing Arah Exp.

2. 5k backstab vs 18k Hb is relative poor damage, so try not to be so sarcastic
3. if you get bursted down in 5 seconds when you can have 8- 9 seconds endure pain, i will assume is an l2p issue
4. i am sure thieves would prefer to have bull charge and endure pain, and balanced stance. I am also sure elementarists would love an 15k base HP but you cannot have all in 1.

you miss the beauty of this skills OP

Guardians " would kill " to have an skill like rush or savage leap.
For eviscerate , remember range is low, 300, melle range is 130 , consider thatYou just turn off auto target… and why would guardians need to charge through 20 enemies to get away??? They just tank them all and walk out.
Anyways, my whole build, which is centered around auto attack and eviscerate spamming every 8 seconds is pretty much useless… since eviscerate never hits. Plz, Anet, why do leap skills not work and why does an ultimate move only have 300 range?
all leap skills works this way, you will leap to your target’s current location, is same with heartseeker from thief, sometimes you fail it 2 times in row if your target moves, but is spammable
eviscerate won’t hit your enemy at 300 range unless he is imobile.Is in same situation with killshot, you cast skill on 900 -1000 range and untill you shot, enemy is out of range
why would anybody invite an guardian intro party, if you do not waste your utility’s to safe them ?
I’ve been saved countless times by guardians in dungeons , when all party wass bellow 20% hp and he make us full hp
i’ve also runned with pug guardians in party, never had an single protection boon, not an regeneration or wall of reflection in front of me.
So on short :
An guardian who use : save yourselves / judge’s intervention /purging flames , MI ,COP , smite condition, renewed focus in dungeon party, persoanly i consider them pugsOk wait a second. Save yourselves is great for group support as it pulls conditions to the guardian, possibly saving someone from condition death, purging flames does damage, cures conditions and is a fire field so you can blast finish in it to give might. Renewed focus is EXTREMELY strong in groups while running 20 in virtues, since it gives you double use of virtues of which one gives 3 stacks of might, another gives regen, an upfront heal, and can remove 3 conditions FROM EVERYONE, and the other gives a complete attack negation and protection on everyone.
Oh please , you can compare the utility of SY in an group ? pulls conditions every 48 seconds, with hold the line 6 sec of protection and 10 regeneration every 24 seconds ?
renewed focus is poor compared with tome of courage , no matter how you make the comparations: you can heal party members from near dead to full hp , and keep them healed for 20 seconds
purging flames do damage ? can you even take in consideration that damage when an warrior hit 3 targets for over 20k damage with HB ? and you waste an utility slot for DOT
if you really want to remove conditions you can use soldier runes, and remove them fine with shouts, but the problem in dungeons ( fracals ) is direct damage and CC, and there are only few guardians that apply protection and stability.
40% warriors? what server you on? on my server (Gandara) warriors are few and far between – closer to 10% if that.

Looking to follow their streams etc, I only want good players, not intermediates.
If you want to play at an high lvl , you must know your enemy’s first.
So before you start, learn all classes basics, traits, weapon skills utility’s.
To burst with an thief is not hard, you can learn that in 2 hours, all combo’s, but the time when you start your burst and prepare your escape are esential. Know your enemy’s invulnerability skills, cooldowns and bursts on every weapon set.
you can execute an perfect burst on an warrior and get countered by an single utility “endure pain” or by an blurred frenzy from mesmer… and list go on.
you cannot learn to play mechanic , and it takes time , if you watch an “pro thief” kill an guardian in 2 seconds" and you try the same,you will fail 90% because he will disable guardian’s aegis with normal hits or low initiative cost skills, he will anticipate when guardian re-apply aegis and when is safe to burst.

so 3 seconds stun x 4 headseeker = 12 seconds stun lock your enemy?, or more with proper runes and sigils ?
how much initiative you want this skill to cost ? cause if is 3 initiative with proper traits you can stun lock an target for …. for ever
thieves are fine
as long as i can provide more single target DPS in fractals party then any other classes , except warrior, and survive 2 hits from champions i don’t feel squishy or useless.
same goes with glass cannon builds, less thieves play it then before because they die too fast. To many learned how to counter them.

stun on backstab would be overpowered, and will promote glas cannon builds, you cannot have all in 1:)
you also have basilik vennom
tbh i do not use mug, cause i consider it too weak, for 10 points in DA
how ever if mug would receive an damage nerf, bursts will suffer, If mug would not apply direct damage , burst build would not be viable anymore.
