-20 points in acrobatics, for faster movement while stealthed , 1 extra dodge roll , and remove cripple on dodge.
the last 20 points depends on your main hand weapon -for pistol you need condition damage ,for sword or dagger , critical strikes /deady arts
Items : – knight +valkeyere, combine those 2 to mentain over 2800 defence and add some critical damage and hp* for dagger or sword main hand.
for pistol main hand carrion mostly
runes are up to you for sword /dagger – you can start with beryl orbs or minor / major divinity.
for pistol – necromancer x5 runes add nice survaivability

tbh i’ve noticed rush in wvw doing nice damage, over 5k crits sometimes, so as far as you can :rush +2 hits +whirlwind – 10k damage in less that 2 second ,and another 2 hits after whirlwind, gs will be supperior to axes. In an group vs group situations axe +axe can do more DPS
it could be an decent healing
however , if you spam cluster bombs with shortbow and omnomberry ghost you can get 5x 352 /cluster or 3*352 / trick shot
with enough defence (2700 + ) you can facetank 10-20 mobs
my thief. Not very uncommon, but i like it.

On the opposite side much ppl think that these ppl who are creating QQ topics and cry there 24h per day are 12. Normal ppl dont need to cry on forum whole day and only children still need cry and call for nerf of class which defeated them some times. We are only defending us.

It’s simple.
You use magic find gear, you’re effectiveness to the group drops. Thus making the group have to work harder because of your selfishness. You’re either doing less DPS or go down much easier, either way you’re making the group carry you more. Using magic find brings nothing at all positive to the group, which is why it’s frowned upon.
So go ahead and use it if you want, but don’t claim you’re just as effective with it, that’s a flat out lie.
1) I use PVT rare armor.
2) I use MF rare armor and nobody in the group goes down.Which scenario am I less effective in, keeping in mind that MF has Power AND precision.
The only answer is 1 or 2. You don’t have to make more scenarios because I can play that game too. I’m just showing that sometimes (not all the time) MF is actually better.

So an player with mf gear got up to 40 % less DPS then an player with bers. However i did not included in this calculation sigils and runes, that would increase the dps diference to over 70%
i belive a-net already noticed the thieves weakness in pve

and some acces to protection or regeneration would make thieves viable in dungeons.
I will define thieves stealth for you OP:
Stealth is the ability that allow to an class with 10k hp and 2000 armor to win vs an shatter mesmer that do 20k damage in an single combo.
Stealth is the ability that allow to an class with 10k hp and 2000 armor to win vs an warrior that can do over 25k damage with 1 combo, while they CC you.
However i do not belive A-net intended to make from stealth the most powerfull survaivability mechanism, that became in wvwvw, mostly caused by constant C&D on monsters, and on pets / low lvl players that do not know how to counter it.

You miss . 1 panic button – bull charge / endure pain / fear me
banner of discipline, can provide you 90 precision and 10% critical damage *90 seconds out of 120 -is also supperior compared with signet of might or furry
And your friends benefit from it also, if you move you pick banner and buff your friends with furry.

1g/h is VERY low, that would be basically just grinding random creatures in Orr.
Doing CoF p1/2 or AC or Fractals or hell even WvW(if on a good server) will net you EASILY between 2-4g/h.
you might make on fractals with mf gear even 5 g/h if you get lucky drops
but constantly 2-4g /h in wvwvw , i doubt, that would result over 30 gold profit /day in wvw in weekend.
I’ve had lucky drops in wvw as well but you cannot take as an base point: that you will get an rare/exotic loot every 50 or 150 kills. and i doubt you make 200 (greens +objectives )in 1 h in wvw
and that would result on top addicted players (12-16 h/day wvw ) 50 gold daily profit

hmz, i still belive major guilds will transfer in last day from full servers, cause they hate queue.
And then the drama from the winning train will begin, who cannot actualy win by them self , since they will be on full unorganized servers.
Imo you should think twice before transfer with or without your guild on an winning server.
Regarding merge servers, i doubt, i belive there will be weekly promotions with free transfers to low tiers, wich will help weak wvw servers to rebuild.

Also another note: KAZ has been aproached by some SFR members quite insistently trying to get us into an alliance vs VS. We have been tempted but we rejected all the offers.
Why? Mainly because we beleave in the 1v1v1 and although in some circumstances “convinience” alliances are are unconciously made during the fight in a map, I trully think this is part of the game. If you see that you are not being atacked from the south you move north with most of your forces I find it logical.

10 points in virtues :1/2 seconds cast time and ground targeting,
you can use it to block entrances, to knock back ppls, to protect downed ally’s and heal them from 900 range ? to knock back enemy’s from the siege and make them unable to use siege for 7 seconds.
1 guardian killed me with that shield and i coudn’t even fight back, got caugh betwen wall and shield , perma knocked down for 7 seconds.

You people have no idea what you’re talking about. This combo is a 3-shot from stealth from 900 away. Meaning, to be able to counter this, you need to know there is a Thief far away from you who is stealthed (meaning you’re asking everyone to be psychic), or get lucky.
I don’t know about you, but I’m not a paranoid player who constantly spams dodges and Protection when there’s 0 reason to believe there’s a Thief, and that’s what you’re telling everyone to do. “L2p, just spam dodge and all your Protection cooldowns for no reason in any PvP situation you ever find yourself, because there might possibly be a chance a Thief is near you.”
they need to remove your aegis first or all combo will fail. So you will know there is an thief arround that want to burst you down.
It’s not overpowered. If you spec like that you’re a one trick pony. I have an 80 thief and an 80 guardian, I should know.
Apparently you don’t, because that’s not a 1-trick pony. To use that combo, all you need is D/D and damage gear, and you still maintain Stealth (which is the ultimate defense). By comparison, for their optimal burst a Warrior sacrifices 2 Utilities, an Elite, 2 weapon slots, and full damage gear, and really does become a 1-trick pony. If you block a Warrior’s burst, then they become easy prey. You block a Thief’s initial burst? They can still stay in the fight and win, or run without any fear. Hello stealth and initiative.
BTW we all have lv80 Thieves and Guardians, which means we also don’t need to provide an argument or any evidence to back up what we say.

Why do you belive guardian can have 3 blind on weapon skills and few aegis up as utility’s. To avoid big shots. An good timed blind will reward you vs an glass cannon thief, since the glass cannon will use maximum 2 stealth utility’s (30 sec and 60 cooldown) your sword ‘s blind got 10 sec cooldown focus blind 24 , and gs blind arround 12 or 15. You also have an pasive aegis every 40 seconds (not trained) 1 at 50% hp , and aegis heal on removal and give retailation on removal.
And i didn’t mentioned protection in all this story,

IMHO that amount of damage shoud not be possible on that much armor or a heavy class with protection up. Power tougness vit + protection should not let u die in 3-10 seconds. Fights should be longer if you spec that way. I’v had 3500 armor + protection up and still died in 3-5 seconds if i was on CD’s.Maybe crit dmg and food and 25stacks shud be nerfed? or increase tougness values?
Then A-net should nerf guardian’s empower since that thief had empower from 2 guardians when he did that damage

And with the help of descent of shadows i can perma stealth in an tower as well
f3 Aegis / focus 4 and 5 skill could avoid all the burst with 1 single button, but you were off guard or this happened in an zerg vs zerg where you could get resurected by an ally

Well gs is by far best warrior weapon for 1 vs 1 situations and i will explain you why.
Bad players are the ones that die to GS, which is why it’s so popular in hotjoin and WvW. Some of the devs have gone so far as to say that outright. That hardly helps your case. Axe can do anything GS can do, only better. 7k Eviscerate is also kind of weak.
I might agree with you if you explain me how you chase an enemy at 2000 range with axe, cause i can explain you how you do it with GS.
Or you might explain me what you do vs an shortbow thief wich spam imobilize and cluster on you, with your axe

Yes in zerg vs zerg you can spam skills with axe , however whirlwind +gs 1 is good enough.

1. As far as i understand you ask to A-net to punish players that want to play WvWvW. If Server A got 500 players that want to play WvWvW , Server B got 450 players that want to play wvw , and Server C got 30 players that want to play WvWvW, your ideea is to put 470 players from server a and 420 players from server B on Queue . With all the respect, you look selfish, and players from server A and server B got same rights like you in this game, all players are equal
2. i cap home borderland with 100 players, move all ppls to other borderland, leave 1 scout on entire map, and enemy’s get kicked from the borderland and i keep all points?

I think the biggest mistake people make when trying to PvP(WvW) on warrior is starting out with 100B/GS. It works great against people who are bad and can’t effectively CC or dodge, but you’ll find that better players won’t have a problem beating you. As such, you’ll never improve. Axe and Hammer are both workable for WvW, and provide a lot more effective ways of beating people 1v1.
Well gs is by far best warrior weapon for 1 vs 1 situations and i will explain you why.
With hammer /axe you won’t be able to kill an thief with 30 points in SA , since he will eat your cc/s on shadow refuge, while he regen 800hp /second for 4 seconds + 350 every second stealthed after refuge. you need burst in order to win vs him and an 7k damage- eviscerate- will not be enough. That’s from my thief experience on bunker build , where i got no problem to win vs hammer // axe /shield warriors, while i don’t engage vs agresive GS warriors ,since they can kill me before i can react. ( agresive are the ones who spam auto attacks and whirlwind , and hope they hit you. They hit sometimes and gs auto attacks hurt more then hammer’s burst skill )
Same goes vs elementarists, , without an rifle you cannot harass them to much. With rifle you can control the battle . An good timed knock back followed by volley will make them switch to water , and when they got water on CD, you can bull charge +100b forcing them to use mistform.
Guardian will just outheal your hammer attacks.

I’ve got no problems to win vs every single class in wvw with my warrior , except P/D thieves and some mesemr builds, wich i can kite with my high mobility.
i use traits 0 /20 /30 /0/20 . * with auto attack/ auttarget / melle assist turned off* i can use rush betwen 20 enemy’s at 1200 range away, and whirlwind at 450 range (600 with swiftness )
My condition removal comes from sigil of purity on GS / generosity on rifle (5 seconds weapon swap) , and signet of stamina. Imobilize removal from mobile strikes ( whirlwind , rush ,bull charge)
I use pasive stances on defence , every 90 seconds an pasive stability and endure pain , wich allow me to escape from the battles i lose, if i decide to dodge the fight in time.
Yes , i can outrun P/D thief, and i can outrun D/D thief if he wasted some of his initiative.
For healing i use healing signet, adrenal heal, omnomberry ghost 350 hp /sec pasive + 352 lifesteal /crit
With this defensive / mobile build my stats are:
2880 p def // 21500 hp // 53 crit chance (maintenance oil /omnomberry included) // 93 crit power // 3070 p attack (goes up to 3300-3500 constant durring hb ).
Pro’s :
high mobility
8-9 seconds endure pain
5 seconds stability
high damage output on melle /range
decent condition removal.
decent pasive healing / lifesteal
Con’s :
-you cannot control your stability and pasive endure pain.
-food buff dependent (without food bufs i lose 12 critical chance) and more then half of regeneration
- only 2 CC’s rifle’s knockback and bull charge
-Cooldown on survaivability skills are too high , signet of stamina (36 sec trained / pasive /active stances – 90 seconds).
