Berserker Reality Check

I do very much like some of these ideas.

However, I think the core traits need an overhaul more than anything. Certain traits need to be moved to different trees to open up more build variety. Every time I think up a fun build, something about it won’t work because of conflicting trait alignments.

When I feel like taking the time to do it, I’ll probably make a thread with some suggestions on how to re-arrange and rework some of the traits. Just for example, Distracting Strikes should be moved to Arms and Dual Wielding to Strength. Armored Attack should be merged with Thick Skin and probably adjusted a tiny bit so as not to make it too overpowered, then put Vigorous Shouts where Armored Attack used to be in Defense which would leave a grandmaster spot open in Tactics. Since currently the three that are there are all pretty terrible unless you want to be a support build.

Don’t forget removing such pointless ones as Unsuspecting Foe. And good luck on trying to rework the trait lines. I think I started that myself and realized “holy crap is this all messed up, I might as well just redesign the whole profession”

All I see in this thread is Rod giving actual arguments and everyone else going lolno warriors suck because i say so.

You serious? Rod already stated above that he hasn’t touched Warrior since expansion, so he has not played it against any of the new elite specs (and no BWE3 doesn’t count since a lot was changed after).

So basically most of what he’s talking about is obsolete.

if you want real good feedback on state of warrior go on YouTube and look up Shinryuku who has been maining war since forever. He gives a very good account of the state of warrior post HoT.

Also some of these warrior suggestion miss the mark like a hambow vs players with eyes

Warrior needs an overhaul. The difficulty of landing hits vs the reward needs to stay, it’s just their defenses need something. It’s too easy to pick them apart, but passive sustain isn’t the answer.

Here’s 2 interesting trait ideas (come at me forums)

- player has 1000 increased armour when not attacking (rousing resilience revamp – stow weapon anyone?)
- Quckness is 100% more effective while in berserk mode (back to the glory days…)

The sad thing is, beta testers were throwing the red flags for berserker and warrior itself on the forums, but the other professions seemed to get more fixes and buffs. Now look where we are.

Warriors basically have nothing unique anymore, except to get a 6th skill attack once you get enough momentum. The trait lines are horribly jumbled up, Berserker still outclassed by conditions, and you’ll be mostly dead before you are able to engage on anymore, and then they can use their many escape tools to just get away and finish you off.

so yeah, warriors need help. I can’t comment on thieves since I don’t play one, but I agree, they need help too

but why make exotic karma armors soulbound on acquire??

I want to use my map completion toon to buy armors for my new level 80 toons but I can’t use the old guy to teleport and buy it for them because it is soulbound on acquire!

I need to use my new toon and run all the way to malchore leap to buy the armor which is silly.

It’s a leftover from the original setup. At launch, every char had its own pool of karma. Karma, as you know, in life is what you get from how you behave to others. Ingame karma was modeled on that. Do hearts and help the heart npcs, your char got karma. Do events and help the npcs that live on the map clear out threats, and your char gained karma.

Since each char’s karma pool was individual and gained by doing good deeds, the rewards bought with karma were also individual. So, soul bound karma items makes sense with this set up.

Later, all karma from all chars was pooled. But the karma items are still soul bound upon purchase. Perhaps because it would be to much trouble to change that for the benefit gained.

They basically need to just make the armors account bound / soulbound on use, just for easy transfer between alts

ArenaNet... personal damage meter ?

However without a damage meter i fear we are looking at another 2 years of “meta builds” which work from about 50% less of what they are advertised at via math-in-a-void all… the way to 5% based on the encounter’s mechanics.

Essentially this guys.

Unfortunately or fortunately (depending on how you look at it), there will always be a “meta”. A mass amount of people will accept like always, and will doing the normal/expected thing of excluding casuals and whatnot… It’s unavoidable, undeniable, inevitable – get over it.

So, why not have the proper tools to do it right? To actually build a meta on solid data rather than napkin notes. It’s not as harmful as people think. Of course they can make the dps meter just show personal dps, so that dps isn’t the reason someone is kicked (since other’s still can’t see it).

a damage meter is very harmful for the community it will destroy the very fabric of what makes guild war great! Guild war at its current state is a very friendly game. For example I just completely a level 100 fractal after 20 wipes and nobody complained we just kept trying until we succeed! now imagine what a damage meter will do? people will whine complain and boot, it is not the game i want!
plus I think a lot of the fun is not knowing how good your build really is, it is about experimenting and feeling the game and the character!

Couple of things…

The dps meter can be either personal or not-personal (group can see it), it will have different effects. In the event that the group can see your dps, that will be the reason they kick you. In the event that the group can’t see your dps, you will be kicked due to not complying with the “meta” (which WILL exist, regardless of having a meter or not.)

Having a personal dps meter, which will leading to creating a meta based on factual data will lead to better meta builds.

The fact that you wiped 20 times and no one complained, isn’t because a dps meter didn’t exist. It’s because the group allowed it, they weren’t impatient. Perhaps, they didn’t even care for meta builds either.

Having a personal dps meter will lead to no change in community, but will lead to solid meta builds with real numbers as proofs. Since, let me explain it again, since people won’t be able to kick you for dps (since they can’t see it), they will still kick you for not complying to the meta if it’s something they care about (which already happens!). Which again, in your case of wiping 20 times, people perhaps weren’t impatient and maybe didn’t care for the meta…

You’re not afraid of a personal dps meter, you’re afraid of the meta and the people that care too much for it.

Hell, it will even help you experiment properly with different builds.

I honestly don’t see any harm from having personal dps meters.

we dont need a dps meter for meta, as I have played many RPG I know all the harm a dps meter can do to a group moral. When I was raid leading in world of warcraft one of the biggest rules is never insult me the raid leader, because as a raid leader I am responsible for group moral. Usually what happens is a tank who thinks he is so valuable to the raid he can say whatever he want and insult anyone he wants, and it usually is a big surprise when I boot his kitten . You see where I am going? if people join raid, get booted, get harassed, get kicked, get insulted, this ripple effect will effect every other part of the game, and over time guild war 2 will become just like wow, and I did not buy guild war 2 because it is like wow, i bought guild war 2 excatly because it is not wow. I also strongly believe the best part of the game is not have a damage meter, this allows me to try different build and to get a feel for different build, that alone is worth the price of admission!

Okay, clearly you’re either not reading or/and or comprehending the things I’ve said.

Thanks for the small argument we had.

i can say the same thing about what u said! you dont seem to understand me clearly either! have you played diablo 3? do you see a damage meter in that game? and does everyone in that game optimize for best build and can everyone run high great rift? i mean very high? you are obviously a noob to mmo!

Yet, meta builds in that game still exist. Groups still don’t take you seriously if you don’t run a certain class and certain build.

Not sure how that’s different or better. It’s the same, and a personal dps meter will not change that.

its fine if a group does not want certain build, see you dont get my point, my point is all about the harm a dps meter will bring to the friendly community which is guild war 2! if you cant see that then you are not very smart!

HOW can a personal dps meter bring more harm.

Personal dps meter meaning, you will only see your own dps, you will not see anyone else.

PLEASE EXPLAIN.

For example before each raid, the raid leader ask each member of the raid to post their best raid dps average on some website or in the chat or through instant messaging! and those who do not qualify are asked to leave immediately!

What?

So the member can’t lie about their numbers? Now, that’s not really an effective way to check, so why would one even check.

Having a dps meter that produces logs that could be uploaded/posted somewhere counter-acts the personal aspect of a personal dps meter. It is also a feature that you’ve made up on the spot, it may not be implemented.

Sure, screen shotting can occur, but it will be more of a hassle of getting that screen shot across to the guy requesting it, and if that guy had set up various means for you to get that screen shot across, that guy would have probably kicked you later down the road for smelling funny (judging by his initial attitude). And of course this would all have to happen relatively fast upon joining a group – else you would join a group and wait 30-40 minutes for everyone to post their screen shots somewhere – Yeah like people will accept that kitten (well, maybe like a very tiny populace will, but, they would be too few). Come up with a simple way of getting a screen shot across for this purpose.

look I will be ok with a DPS meter as long as it will not be used to boot people, harrass people, intimidate people, and get people kicked out of a raid before they even had a shot at raiding! However, I am afraid that will not happen, because the very nature of a dps meter is elitist and it will cause a lot of grief among-est plaeyrs!

The very nature nature of a dps meter is being a tool.

Like a ruler.

You mean that tool that people use to hit each other with as well? In essence, using a tool not for its intended purposes?

Which again, you can argue the minority will use the tool properly, the majority will be the people abusing it.

Misuse of a tool comes from the user, not the tool so much. How the minority or majority use the tool, does not effect the essence of the tool.

True, it doesnt. But seeing a majority of people slapping each other with the ruler isn’t going to create a safe environment now is it?

Again, you’re thinking on the minority level where the very few will use this tool correctly, and the majority will abuse it. I’m not sure how I can make this anymore clear on thinking from a micro and macro level of impact.

A micro level, yes, I totally agree to give it to the people who know how to properly use it and understand what the meter would tell you.

On a macro level, there is no benefit at all to the tool other than to just add strife. Yeah, stupid people do stupid things. Watch two stupid people do something stupid by standing in fire. Now give them each a ruler and watch them hit each other with it while still in the fire. How did this get any better?

And to add on, while the small minority of people will understand what the dps meter doesn’t measure, the majority will not, leading to all the problems.

Majority, minority, who knows. They would be the same people who think they’re pulling 15k dps in all situations despite what the numbers popping up on their screen are saying, because somebody came up with that number in a spreadsheet.

Dumb people are dumb, though I would argue it’s harder to be that dumb when you have your actual DPS up on the screen.

No, there is no “who knows”. We already do know. We can already look at WoW and see the impact of the dps meter. We can already enter into the game and I can bet you go into a pug group, someone will link their dps meter at the end of a dungeon or raid boss, and not care about what the healers did, or buffs, or anything and just focus on damage.

A DPS meter doesn’t measure:

  • fraction of DPS not related to personal play (by booning banners, or buffs),
  • heals or reductions of dmg taken keeping people up or
  • numer and time spend on resses (will it lower DPS due to dead/downstate, or just stop measuring giving a false number , would ressing lower dps or stop measuring? also ging false values?
  • combo’s and comparables
  • outgoing conditions, and cleans
  • CC’s and or interrupts keeping you or them from getting killed and or adding to DPS?
  • DOT or effective DOT
  • Average DPS/Time
  • Time spend facerubbing the floor
    *
    and thus:
  • A value easily interpreted wrong when narrowminded.

Uh, it’s been awhile since I played WoW and thus used a dps meter, but Recount (the most popular dps meter when I was playing) told you all of this stuff.

It’s literally your combat log aggregated into an easy to read format. I was the heal lead for my guild’s raids back then so I was generally more interested in the non-dps parts like conditions removed, activity, healing done (and to whom), HPS, mana recovered, deaths, mana recovered, etc.

A DPS meter is far more than the name implies.

And the only people to ever look at those other numbers were the raid leaders. In fact, Recount gave you the option to turn off all those other gathering tools and focus just on dps because the creator knew the majority wouldnt care about them.

Nemesis personally said most DPS assesments ingame (and around it, in VLOGS and build sites like Metabattle) are false, with people using spike/burst values instead of sustained DPS. A DPS meter is useless as sustained DPS is DPS/time, not only the spikes and not only the base DPS, and even if implemented I fear the majority of players would be unaware of its actual use and ways of interpretation.

Having an actual DPS meter really wouldn’t be nice, It would result in a fixed meta, cause people would all be scared to be kicked, (both the casuals and the elitists) and why?
Because there would be a need for outperforming others….

Leaving DPS something like MAX speed of a car on a mountainroad to the top of the mountain full of hairpins with oncoming traffic…. You could reach your max speed, but you’ll likely fly of the road, or kill someone else cause you are focussing something else, and in those (and likely other) cases not achieving your goal of reacing the top….

Lastly it will influence people to try and get cheats/hacks/manipulators ingame to manipulate the meters…. whichs will be 3rd party add-ons and will read memory (breaking TOS and geetting themselves kicked/banned/removed from play) mostly added this as I saw someone admitting he was manipulating DPS meters in WoW….

I personally feel people would go as far aas manipulating the game would be very bad, due to the party no longer knowing what and where problems come from, and if actual dmg was manipulated (other then the meter) I’d suggest all 10 being stipped of gains and the offender insteantly losig his account for manipulating gameplay and getting unfair advantages. I also thing a DPS meter would be an incentive for manipulation of the game… Maybe not for me, but for some it would be….

And to add on, while the small minority of people will understand what the dps meter doesn’t measure, the majority will not, leading to all the problems.

I never understand the argument for “how great a DPS meter is”, since we can go to games right now with a DPS meter and see how “wonderful” it is.

And while you can argue that the mighty few will use it properly to find the correct dps build, guess what the majority of players (you know, the ones that either don’t visit the forums at all, or very rarely), will do? Abuse the heck out of it or misuse it, causing more annoyances than needed.

People will be paying more attention to their numbers on the meter than what’s in the screen, thus missing when to dodge and just end up dying but “i hit 10k dps!”. Some people are downed and need help back up (note, not the dead dead, downed state), “but if I do that, my dps will suffer!”.

This is why even a personal one can cause problems, as again, focus will be on the meter and not the screen. Looking at it from a macro point of view, its a bad idea.

We can look at WoW and its Dps meters, and let me ask you this, how balanced are those classes in numbers? They aren’t? But they have so much outsourcing and people showing them the numbers to be adjusted!

How many instances in a dungeon group in WoW did you have someone linking the dps meter? In other words, their eyes weren’t on the screen, but on the meter. Or how often did you see someone in a raid standing in fire, continuing to dps because numbers?

So you can argue all you want how it can “make the game better”. I can already draw up current implementations and see how a dps meter hasn’t made a game any better at all.

No, I don’t play GW1 anymore and the only thing i do nowadays in GW2 is the Log-in Wars. I lost interest in this game long time ago when they turned it into an Achievement Hunting game. I follow it closely tho through blog reports, news, forum but I am not getting involved into it anymore. It is really not worth it for me.

Then what was the point of this thread?

This is just my thoughts and opinions on the lore and how it seemed anet was going one direction, then veered into another.

First, we had Destiny’s edge fighting alongside Glint to kill Kralkatorrik when he awoke. They failed and we know how that went. Then our personal story and dungeon stories basically show the group getting back together to attack zhaitan. You would think “well, now that the group is back together, maybe they will go after Kralkatorrik again back in the crystal desert.” But we didn’t.

Then we get the Zypherites, desciples of Glint, who had gone to the desert to collect Glint’s remains.

And then we get to Tarir, which also makes little sense to me in its location. Okay, yes, Glint foresaw Mord causing problems, hence the city being built here. But again, this could’ve just been shoehorned in to fit because without that reasoning, it makes no sense. Again a place that contains followers of Glint is really no where close to her.

I don’t know. It feels more that the next dragon was looking to be Kralkatorrik to be taken down, but gears got switched.

Not complaining, just noticing is all. If anything, with Logan and Zojja having been captured, I wouldn’t be surprised if Rytlock wants to take command again and instead of waiting for the next dragon to attack, take the fight to the dragons, starting with Kralkatorrik.

Can anyone explain what is the ultimate goal in this game because every time I am setting up one for myself, A-nets messes it up

- When I hunted the map completion star I had to go through the WvW and play with 5FPSs in those zergs so I can just get those stupid PoIs and vistas. Now they are not included into it anymore.

Apparently some players hated going into WvW to get the PoIs, and there was enough of a hate against it that anet removed it. Anet went with what some players wanted.

- When I was glad I got all my traits open, they thought to add more traits and use skill points and money to get them. And now they just open them like before.

players wanted new traits to earn or to attain by the old capture method in gw1. Players hated the new system, so they went with this new one. Again, players sent feedback and anet responded.

- When I decided to grind for the money to buy some legendaries out of the TP then they added new Legendaries so the old ones become obsolete. And the new ones made only by crafting. I despise crafting

old ones aren’t obsolete. I don’t know how you came to this. People wanted a way to attain legendaries rather than just waiting for RNG to hit or to farm for gold to buy a precursor and to make it feel like more of a journey to earn the legendary. Anet listened and tried to get that feel. So again, players wanted something and demanded anet provide.

- When i thought my character became a Hero after killing the biggest threat in Tyria: Zaitan, A- nets brings up a silvary psyco who raises up another “Biggest” threat: Mordemoth. What will it be next? Another (race) psyco rasing up another “Biggest” threat? Ao we have 5 races, one was, 4 more to go?

you do know there is more than one elder dragon right? We first killed zhaitan, now mord is here, there are still more to go that need to be dealt with when the time comes, and it seems when one falls, the rest get stronger. So yes, every new dragon will become the newest “biggest” threat.

- When I thought that reaching lvl 80 with multiple characters was my ultimate goal, A-nets throws in new leveling : the mastery system which makes all my lvl 80’s just a waste of time becasue now I have to get exp for more then my number of lvl 80 to get some elite specialization. So now having lvl 80 written next to your name make you a noob again when others show off their 134 mastery points (aka the new infinite level)

Masteries are account bound, not character.

What will be next? A secondary elite specialization with a new zone to grind for new mastery points? I guess so.

yes, there will be new specializations down the road. yes, of course there will be new zones. So you can gather hero points now in preparation once you get your current specialization to save for the next, or save now and wait if the current one doesn’t fit your fancy.

and the list can go on.

I am sorry, but no matter how A-net will describe their game, for be it is not an evolving game but a trickery for a time waster where every goal you set up for yourself will be crushed down sooner of later.
They said they don’ t introduce new gear treadmill, but instead they introduced something much worse: grinding millions of exp for exclusionary goals which will be shattered with the new expansion because you will never ever reach the ultimate best but instead you will return back to your noob status just feeling better then a super noobs (aka new players)

um…isn’t that the case with every expansion? They just raise the level cap instead and add newer gear. This is Anet’s way of horizontal progression. The masteries don’t really make you more powerful (trying to see how gliding makes me stronger than the other guy), with most just allowing me to reach new areas, fight specialized creatures, and only one I can think of that lets me survive better agianst a certain type of enemy.

This is unacceptable

at first, yes its a farm to get this armor. But then again, if you get into a map that is doing the meta, you have a chance to get a free box at the end. Plus, if you have the mastery that lets you get “trophies” from any mobs, those bags can contain from 5 to 130(highest i’ve gotten) gears.

Blizzard usually fix their bugs in less than two weeks after an expansion releases, but even then, those bugs are very minor in comparisson to what we see in HoT.
And the reason for that is that WoW has PTR servers where everything gets smoothed out before launch.
ANet still refuses to have a constant beta type of server, to protect their story or w.e that ends up a disaster anyway.

you’re kidding right? WoW’s PTR smoothed things out? Then I guess all those blue posts after a launch of bugs were just my imagination.

Face it, the standard player doesn’t use the PTR to actually test and try to break the game. They use it to just play ahead of everyone else. They don’t understand that finding an exploit or bugging something is a GOOD THING in the PTR, and should be reported.

Even Ghostcrawler admitted to this and pointed it out in Riot’s PBE testing. More players are just playing to get the feeling of the champs and item, rather than finding bugs.

Do you regret pre-purchasing HoT?

Taking time out to stab someone you don’t like while you’re actively being chased by a bigger threat is just plain dumb. Secure your own escape first, THEN betray the hero.

There’s an old saying: “I don’t have to outrun the tiger. I just have to outrun you.” I think that’s what she was supposed to be thinking when she did it.

It didn’t work.

Not to mention, double benefit. By having Eir left behind we would be preoccupied with saving Eir, thus letting Faolin escape. It was really a win / win from Faolin’s point of view in attacking Eir.

First, she was on an airship over a jungle teaming with things ready to kill her.
Then the weak willed sylvarie turned, chances are, some attacked her, maybe getting in a few grazes, but at least wearing her down.

Next, and people seem to keep forgetting this, ITS REMARKABLE SHE EVEN SURVIVED A CRASH. Many of the soldiers either died or were seriously injured with all the blimps going down. You think she just walked out of it unscathed? Come on.

Next, chances are after the crash, having sustained injuries, she most likely didn’t get taken prisoner without a fight. So once again, more injuries.

Finally, basically being starved and tortured (locked up with Faolin I consider torture at least), no treatment of injuries (we can assume a few cracked ribs, since if I remember correctly she was moving her arms and legs ok), and chances are being moved deeper into the jungle didn’t provide much rest.

But despite all that, you expect her to still be able to put up a fight? Sorry, no.

No, you don’t need masteries.

Its already been reported as a bug for map completion. If you have 100% on a character and go for map completion in the new zones, its bugged. My warrior is 100% world completion, didnt get the rewards for verdant brink.

My necro on the other hand, got it, and he doesn’t have 100% world.

Just report it as a bug and wait.

Serophous.9085

somehow I think each spore goes to a specific specialization. If not, then its RNG. I had the same problem with my necro going for his collection, and the mushroom in Dragon Stand put the spore in my Dragon Hunter collection. Killing the same shroom gives you nothing.

So i had 3 other specialization’s unlocked, went running around finding different shrooms, the LAST one, (which I believe was in Tangled Depths) gave me the one for the Reaper.

Again, this may be just left up to RNG (if someone got something different from Dragon stand that didn’t go to Dragon Hunter, then its RNG), but if not, someone just didn’t finish explaining you need to finding a certain treasure shroom.

Serophous.9085

Pick any MMO and their forums will be similar. It’s the nature of forums.

Last weeks way to many

Nah, I’ve been on these forums from practically day 1. I see nothing out of the ordinary. I’d say the worst of it was when Dragonhunter name was announced, and then maybe the first two days of the expansion. But all of that is in line with every other major LS update, or holiday update, or balance change, or really anything that changes in the GW2.

I still love the people on Day 2 of HoT who “quit” because of lack of content. Like seriously, these maps are so ridiculously huge, the story is big and involved, events are everywhere. Don’t even get me started on the map metas and how awesomely difficult they can be.

Some people just don’t like change.

There are a group of regular anti-GW2ers on the forum. They’ve “quit” the game, but spend their free time frequenting the forums to reiterate the same complaints they’ve had over and over. If they see someone new with a similar complaint, that’s like cat nip, they all swarm to add to it. You’ll start recognizing these people. They are also the first ones to call people schills or fanbois or white knights for disagreeing with them.

The worse was the Dragon Hunter name? Are you sure you’ve been here for so long? did you already forget the introduction of ascended gear? (rips open the wound)

No no, those little rolling kittens that are a pain to hit if melee.

Happened to me too. Killing the Mushroom again doesn’t give another Spore. Killing it on an alt doesn’t give either. What did work was kill a different Shroom. I know of 3, one in DS, one in TD and one in VB.

Thanks for that heads up, now I need to hope RNG works with those two other places.

What’s the “Final Rest” situation?

Finale rest is a staff(?) that no one could find or had seen drop in the game, at all. Everyone started asking where it was, or where did it drop from to farm it, but it couldn’t be figured out. Basically, it was assumed that the icon was in the game, but either the item was glitched from dropping, or anet never actually added it in.

It wasnt until the world boss loot update that suddenly it appeared in the shadow beast loot table, and was finally dropping.

Berserker BWE3 Feedback

Serophous.9085

Seriously though — just play Reaper or Revenant.

It seems like the overwhelming majority of posters in this thread are unhappy with the Berserker. We have voiced our opinions and done our part. Our feedback has been posted here, in excessive amounts. When (if?) the devs decide to do another balance, pass they will look at this thread and hopefully address things.

Until then, don’t continue slamming your head into the wall.

There is a new expansion out there with an exciting new world. Give Reaper or Revenant a try. They both fill the “Warrior” archetype extremely well. Far better than the Berserker can. Come back and play Berserker when (if?) it is fixed. Playing it in its current state is just going to turn you off an otherwise great game.

I am having more fun than I ever have before on my new Revenant.

If anything, I’m hoping that if they see the numbers dropping as most classes played, maybe they’ll notice that somethings wrong. I don’t want to shelve my warrior, but I want to have fun, and I’m not having it as a warrior. So off to reaper I go.

Feedback please on my Zerker Reaper

With the stats (since not accounting ascended stats), I am almost at 100% crit chance in shroud. Not to mention, getting to 25 stacks of might is so insanely fast, its not even funny, hence why not even using runes to increase the boon duration (could be my first mistake there).

As for why all the shouts, I’ll explain.

Rise – I like it more because if I’m reading it right, 50% damage reduction if I hit foes and get minions, which seems a lot better than spectral Armor in getting just protection buff. Plus, I can usually spam it more in large groups of mobs.

Suffer – for the chill factor to help in breaking a blue bar, and added condition removal.

Nothing can save you – Honestly the one I am tempted to swap out at times. Boon ripping is nice, unblockable is nice, but not meeting much stuff that blocks anyway. One thing I am tempted to swap it with is spectral grasp.

Chilled to the bone – Most of my time is wanting to be in reaper shroud, so going lich or plague isn’t that great. The golem, eh. So I was left with the shout, which really helps with breaking the blue bar, and saving oneself when surrounded.

I stick with greatsword because the AoE blind is nice, the pull is amazing in massive mob fights to aoe down, and gravedigger can hit like a truck if you come out of shroud with all the might built up.

Is it squishy? Yes, but I rarely go down unless fighting more than I can handle, or I just mow them down before they get anywhere close.

Does it support? Not really. Vulnerability stacking is about it. The rest I sorta save up to CC a champ or legendary to help break their bar, or for oh crap moments.

And yes, I have thought about Curses, but not sure what to give up, or if really needed at all.

He isn’t alone. I keep sending the reports…but ugh…the crashes happen at the WORSE times.

I was in a full Tarir server, we actually had it planned out and were doing well….CRASH! Can’t get back into server.

Was in a Dragon’s Stand, got the achievement at least for killing the mouth. Got the big chest at the end luckily, walked over to talk to the vendor guy…CRASH! Getting a “network error” suddenly when trying to join my group.

Its just really annoying and a pain to be doing some of these big map events, only to find it all wasted once a crash happens and basically lose out on the loot and progress.

Smooth launch? Yes. Post launch? F.
